*sighs* I'm not surprised to see this...

Look at this ask for context.

I thought we already went over how it isn't BakuDeku shippers doing the harassing to Horikoshi? As I mentioned in my ask, canon was not going to matter to BakuDeku shippers because they're still going ship it.

Did it for years before the manga ended and even now there's people just getting into the ship when giving MHA a try because of all the context Horikoshi put in the story.

Why would BakuDeku shippers harass the mangaka, the one for giving more than enough for the ship? BakuDeku shippers live off the covers for 29 and 37 still! (That's 8 volumes in between, by the way. You know how 8 is like a recurring number for MHA.)

The reason why other gay ships don't get bashed as much is because BakuDeku is an easy target. Something I even mentioned here in the ask I answered before this one.

It's the most popular ship of MHA.

There's a lot of shippers so there's a lot of people for others to harass.

Easy targets.

Not saying all BakuDeku are good people (some I had to block myself here and there for getting on my nerves), but does that call for harassment of any kind? Let alone to anybody?

NO.

It's like this person wants to dismiss how bad harassment has gotten. Let alone that harassment exists towards shippers at all because some people feel that shipping is a competition.

If people didn't think that at all, the "gays/BakuDeku shippers" will go away after their ship doesn't become canon then why do they still go in those spaces and harass people?

If the BakuDeku shippers "lost" because of canon, then why do they still feel the need to post hate about the ship in the spaces for the ship?

To drive them out!

By the way, the other ships mentioned here also gets hate from time to time, let's not act as if they don't so bringing them up was pointless. I have seen those shippers get criticized, too. Just not as much because again hating BakuDeku is the easiest ship for haters to hate on.

Let's be real, BakuDeku haters did think "I'm glad that gay ship sunk".

Jason, who is constantly making death jokes, and gets back a "dgaf" kind of answers from his siblings. Which he is... used to. Firstly, because it is what siblings supposed to do, be mean to each other, and secondly, because... they are not wrong. His death didn't mean anything. No one cared much about him dying. Yes, they were bothered that he died - a kid, a son and a brother, had died. Everyone mourns dead kids, he wasn't special. Right?

So, he is fine with whatever he gets from his brothers. He often laughs back, even his laughter sounds far too strained to his ears. But, honestly, whatever! It is fine!

Until once, it isn't.

Maybe it is just a bad day. Or maybe his death anniversary is getting closer, and he gets more anxious. Nonetheless, he makes another joke - something about warehouses and crowbars; so, nothing new - and gets a usual funny-snappy reply back, something along the lines And no one cared. And he just huffs, his smile turning to a scowl, and before he can take it back, he shrugs.

'I know.'

Suddenly, it is too quiet in the room. And suddenly everyone is staring - confused, hurt, slightly surprised, even. Jason tries to laugh it off, to make them stop looking at him with so much pity, but his forced laughter sounds too much like a certain clown's in his insane, tired mind, and he ends up murmuring a haste farewell, before practically running away from the cave.

He thinks someone tries to call him back, but he ignores it.

The defeating silence and the looks of pity haunt him in his dreams for the rest of the night.

i really don’t think it’s “typical dragon age fandom nonsense” for people to be genuinely upset about the world state choices. combat, level design, art direction, gameplay gimmicks, those have all varied across each dragon age game. the one thing that’s remained constant are nods to our previous choices.

i wasn’t expecting my HoF to come riding in on a griffon, but i can’t find a monument dedicated to warden tabris somewhere around the anderfels? lucanis couldn’t have some lines about the time that one arainai boy was stirring up trouble in antiva city? you’re gonna tell me that making a mage the new divine wouldn’t have some impact on nevarra and antiva? on the anderfels, the supposed most devout militant andrastian nation in thedas? you’re saying nobody in the north is paying attention to who rules orlais or ferelden? come on.

#arcane #arcaneedit #gifmaking #reminder that if ur not a fan of the coloring and sharpening then i dont need to hear ur opinion so fuck off and make your own gifs :)#sooo yeah!!! just sharing this very old coloring comparison i use from time to time to make sure i follow a certain peg for my gifs #but i dont really follow it to the T of course #and now i will use the tags to rant/comment about my coloring process lmao #ok so.... arcane s2 is SOOOOO much brighter than s1 i am so so so thankful we have such bright scenes instead of all the dark ones in s1 #because it makes my life so much easier #that being said my coloring isnt really perfect i still cant handle more complex tones like the mel gif......#i used to have a more stylized coloring wayyy back in s1 (esp when u look at my old gifs) but i kinda realized i had to change it #so i scrapped all my old psds and now coloredit EVERYTHING MANUALLY #hence why sometimes i gif the same scene but theyre colored different since i never use a preset PSD now #however it became way more tedious to make gifs... so yeah.... lmao #but in the end i like it more!!! i like that my new coloring just basically matches the show more but is just brighter and more saturated #unless ofc i dont like the tones of the original show i.e. the vi gif you see there where its super green gray???? idk i dont like it so #i recolored the entire thing #anyways thats really it coloring will always be something i continue to try to improve on but recently ive just been v busy so i just #speed color and edit everything and dont rlly take all adjustments into account so no more complex tones and #i just stick to basic things #oh right sharpening! so for sharpening i use a very basic setting: just 500 px and 0.4 radius which is what i use for almost everything #i also dont add noise bc the landscape photographer in me does NOT like it LMFAOOOOOOOOOO #but yeah thats really it for sharpening oh i also use 4k sources as much as possible bc it gives the best quality and if #i cant find any source i just upscale everything by myself then crop stuff again back to 540 px and imo it really just does look better #personal tag
