Back when I was drawing Aenar and his wife, I thought about making her some sort of a prophecy gal, with some penchant for politics like her husband, and I named her Malaena, but then came HotD with their behind the scenes and called her Elaena and gave her a fun backstory, which honestly might be a lot better than the one I came up with, and also, here goes a theory/headcanon, what if Elaena, who resented her husband, decided to travel back to Valyria, or simply refused to leave, and died there!

In this moment, finally, at last, she's got the whole, undivided attention of Mrs. Morrible. She's got everything she ever wanted. And still she turns back, and she looks absolutely miserable. As Elphaba is soaring the skies, Glinda is getting pulled down the darkened stairs.

Already, the regret is starting to set in.

Natsuo Todoroki is the realest mf ever for sticking to his guns and never forgiving Enji. Fuck forgive and forget especially when it comes to abusive parents!

Dfo is great but I personally love it when it's a crack au with dadmight. Because then it's a tale about how thoroughly and ruthlessly All Might has demolished afo, a lot of it without even knowing

I need scenes where Daryl explicitly shows that he loves Carol for all of who she is as a human. I know we know it, even though that feeling has been fading since the spin-off and even in parts of season 11. But I reallyyy need at least one scene where Daryl catches Carol doing something distinctly Carol and looks at her for a *prolonged* time with unambiguous love all over his face. And then he actively shows and tells her. Like the scenes where Aaron and Rosita see Carol putting herself through pain to kill the horse to feed Alexandria. I need to know that Daryl sees that in her. And I need to see him radiate intense love in her direction because she fucking needs it.

Your fate is dependent on the mercy or cruelty of others and you hate it and you rage against it but you can’t do anything, your defiance is treated like nothing but a childish tantrum but you refuse to beg, you won’t get that desperate no matter how long you’re trapped here, no matter how low you’re brought down. You stand among humans and you look human but you’re not, you’re an animal in a cage with them and you’re the only one who can see the bars. Gnawing and hacking at them to no avail. And yet all you can do is wait and hope and try and fail in an endless loop until an outside force interferes to free you from your prison. The carrot and the stick. I don't think Nana ever expressed her opinion on Tazmily or the villagers, but I imagine she was one of the people who felt unhappy even before the Pigmasks arrived. Maybe she never commented on how much Tazmily had changed in three years because she wasn't too surprised to see that the seemingly utopic village wasn't such a utopia after all. It's hard to feel a sense of community when you're a child, you lose your father and you're all alone and still no one seems to care because you committed the crime of being "annoying". But unlike some of the other villagers who searched for fulfillment in what Fassad offered them, she had no interest in happy boxes or New Pork City, only the sea.
