Aenar, the exile
Twelve years before the Doom of Valyria (114 BC), Aenar Targaryen sold his holdings in the Freehold and the Lands of the Long Summer and moved with all his wives, wealth, slaves, dragons, siblings, kin, and children to Dragonstone, a bleak island citadel beneath a smoking mountain in the narrow sea.
Aenar and his wife, taking a walk in valyria and Aenar, reminiscing about Valyria!
Back when I was drawing Aenar and his wife, I thought about making her some sort of a prophecy gal, with some penchant for politics like her husband, and I named her Malaena, but then came HotD with their behind the scenes and called her Elaena and gave her a fun backstory, which honestly might be a lot better than the one I came up with, and also, here goes a theory/headcanon, what if Elaena, who resented her husband, decided to travel back to Valyria, or simply refused to leave, and died there!
