16. What’s an AU you would love to read (or have read and loved)?

So I'm usually not too crazy on AU's just cause sometimes they get super specific and detailed the almost kind of take me out of it lol...the main exception is if it's like...a mutual's AU where I can actively talk to them and ask questions in case I'm confused lmao

17. What highly specific AU do you want to read or write even though you might be the only person to appreciate it?

I've sorta stayed away from AU's cause again, it's just kind of jarring for me after stressing over getting the character's right in their own universes, let alone how they'd bend and twist to an alternate one...although it does seem interesting, I'm just worried I can't pull it off.

But I wouldn't mind like, getting together with mutuals and writing for their own DC AUs with like their OC's or their version of the DC Rogues like @10-tetch-6 and their dork squad, or write stories with a plethora of my mutuals DC OC's like @march-harrigan's March sona, or @finniestoncrane's Conundrum or @rainfallinthevoid's Crowe and so many others those are just a few to name, I'd be here all day, but if you're in our server you can probably get an idea of where I'm getting at lmao.

And I'm fairly certain the only one's who'd appreciate it are me and them lmao.

23. What’s a trope, AU, or concept you’ve never written but would like to?

I answered before that I wouldn't mind working more with enemies to friends/lovers trope, but since we're on the discussion of AU's...

I honestly wouldn't mind dipping my toes in a soulmate AU, but with a twist or where I can kinda sorta make my own rules? Or at least like being inspired by others but not sticking to the rules 100%?

Like imagine if Jonathan was plagued with nightmares and he's spent years learning to master fear, in order to get rid of them, but once he unknowingly meets his soulmate the nightmares are gone.

Or Edward can't come up with riddles or answer them once he unknowingly sees them, and has to try and find them and get their name in order to regain his riddling abilities (lmao or something to that effect)

And I could go on about different ways for Jervis but I really do like the color one, Jervis strives to make the world a Wonderland even though he can only see black and white or sepia until he meets his soulmate that turns the world to color, and now reality isn't so dreary anymore.

Hello hello on this fine day I want to ask what the seed in the seed arc stand for? A literal botanical seed? A seed more in a metaphorical way? A third more sinister thing?

for context the term usually turns up in the following situations > - seed arc (post lhnh travel arc for sky(+jack)) - seed kids (blood-related children of soulless. put a pin in this) - seed mode (their inevitable end) all of these are meta terms and not used in canon bc [seed] terminology goes back to outdated lore (pre-2015 moon system overhaul) where soulless immortality worked via "influence rules" essentially them being untethered from time meant the exact opposite where they'd fade away unless they anchored themselves into existence by influencing it. & it just so happened that everyone's least favourite oc of mine (hot minute since i last posted so yeah this is abt gray. yes we are skirting rabbit territory here. knife emoji locked and loaded) anwy his chosen method of influence accumulation was via "seeds of immortality" aka. lab-grow some landmine children and yeet them thru time portals so when they cause calamity all up and down reality it quadrubillions ur power.

now forget everything i just said bc this was pre black swan era where gray was a much more one-note machiavellian villain type guy. impossible that he used to be even more boring than he is now <3

anwy that's where the basic wording comes from, and in broad strokes it's still the same concept but the particulars have changed !! without getting into stupid soul birth rules the tldr is. after he accidentally gets stuck with a daughter, hold for [🐇], gray realizes that for the time he is linked to a mortal btwn incubation nd blossoming of a soul, it acts as a fairly reliable pain relief. nowhere near the levels of linnea's cold touch cure, but after losing her he has to make do, bandaid on a bullet wound etc. so he whores around a bunch and gets stuck with children he has no use for (hold for. 🐇) and disposes of them via time portal. the funniest thing is that he has no idea what happens to soulless halfbreeds after this.

what happens to soulless halfbreeds is this: any child of a mortal and a soulless will inevitably die when their moon blood eats thru their soul. for 99.9% of seed kids this happens around the time they come of age (20 yrs) with the one notable exception ofc being sky bc her birth mother was a descendant & having some of reina's spark in her translates to the bastard strength i am insane abt for the rest of my life, slightly more resistance to soulless blood (despite all the. 💉🐇🩹 yknow) so her total time wld have been at least a century, if not centuries, if she had not burned thru most of her soul to keep leah alive to see dream game. :) [i am exited from this line of thought]

it's not a botanical seed but it is very much a family lineage seed. soulless lineage, to the detriment of all involved. the main, named oc corners it touches are [ofc sky 💚] and also nashua in white crown. half-siblings the two of them, though never meet :3c & then there is ofc, seed arc; the terrible, terrible interlude. the decades after lhnh wherein sky grows into her own as she travels the world, and inevitably runs into children & young adults who carry a hint of night traces. who sometimes look a little too familiar. who are afflicted with an obstinate patch of bruises somewhere on their body, a condition she knows all too well. & who, without fail, die in agony the moment they reach adulthood. bc here is the last terrible detail,

seed kids don't simply die. they turn soulless for a short period of time when the invisible moon floods their body. congrats you have won a moon worth of pain !!!!! unspeakable agony in every nerve and cell !!! not quite soulless enough to bear it, but not quite mortal enough to die a quick death from it. some seed kids bloom into light illusion powers, some even unlock a little temporal distortion, but none of them are in a mental state where they can harness those abilities for anything more than extreme local destruction of everything and everyone around them before they burn out. so before long seed arc becomes about sky putting her unfortunate half-siblings out of their misery before they can hurt their own loved ones. killing children goes over so well for her psyche too <33

& ofc ofc. thanks to all of this. even way past adulthood as she is, sky knows she'll end up like all the others sooner or later. and given her unholy strength stat, she will cause [kyubei voice] unprecedented amounts of suffering. damage beyond belief with nobody short of a true ruler able to kill her. considering her overall resilience so far she might not even burn out naturally but continue to wreak havoc, turn into mindless killing machine. some might even call that modus 殺戮人形 >:)

when i was remaking my main persona i had a difficult time since i had a previous one i used for everything but after a while she just didn't stick and sorta had bad associations with her so i sorta split her from being seen as my main persona

now i'm not 100% happy with zero's design but tbh, not sure i could come up with something too crazy without adding flair like when i make ocs but i wanted zero to be me which is quite neutral

except for their whole 'shadow' thing and i've thought over this and think it's important for why they look the way they do

zero is not a shadow, or shadowkin as i call that sort of thing but rather a human who sees herself as that in terms of her dissociation from herself.

a abyss of a face with the silhouette only being comprehensible: that's because she doesn't look at herself in the mirror and doesn't see her face as real and the facial features of a human are the most important part so she chooses not to see them as anything

the sharp black claws: symbolism of her view of hurting everyone and everything she touches, when you grab with monster claws, you slice and hurt and that makes people fear you

the featureless black feet: her thoughts of being detached from earth so much that even without shoes, walking around and stepping on things doesn't seem to faze her and this in turn gives her more jaded emotional stance at times

i have a comic a planned for this sort of deal to explain but everyone, even her f/o's see her as a normal human even if that's not how she sees herself and would draw or describe herself as a featureless being with not much to say about or even acknowledge

i ... im pretty perplexed to read the blogs i used to read for info / metas im looking forward to ... expressed mean, mean, things.

i felt nauseous. i didnt realize the people whose metas i used to love can be so. cruel. i had hoped i can find some articulation of what I felt, as a shared feelings, but not only i didnt find it, i, felt ashamed to even had my feelings from the first place. i had to dived in the tag rabbit hole and finally found blogs that expressed the opposites, and thank god i did. thank god i did.

(followed them right away, n unfollow thw prev blogs that i now, see, as ... no)

this tho, had me actually ignored the whole tag whlist it airs, and put notif on for the ones i now value, yours included. it got me thru the whole journey of ep11-13, especially, Especially, 12. the special ep tho, the special ep got me branched out again towards the tag and see people bashing it again undermining it as the sex ep. and kinkshaming rain. is it so bad to have a happy, mutual, consent sexual relationship? i thought we dont kinkshame now

First, let me say welcome back to Tumblr! I'm actually pretty new. I reached a year anniversary this month. Though I am not new to bl at all. I'm OG there.

Negative reviews are a part of life. However, there is a difference between being hateful and writing a neg review. There is a difference between cancel culture and I don't watch this or participate in this type of art. I think that people are failing to see the differences. Life is not white and black.

There will always be kink shaming. It's not from men though. It's from women. These same women that are talking shit, reading romance on their kindle when no one is looking and wouldn't think twice about their boyfriend asking them to wear a French maid costume. As an amazing friend once told me, this is your room and you cultivate it the way you need to. He blocks people left and right, creating the atmosphere that he wants on Tumblr. I've learned to do the same. I may end up in a bubble but it's a tiny community of people I truly enjoy and love.

Never apologize for English being your second language. Being bilingual is an accomplishment that should only get love not judgement. You guys will never and I mean NEVER see me criticize the way someone writes, from spelling to commas, to anything. I'll never do it. I might ask for clarification but there will never be criticism. It's @lunaphoenix221 again with (yet another) new blog, the rotomblr in wonderland event inspired me to be like *hey what if I Isekai'd our main wonderland crew* I will say up front they are very OC-ified and I have not read the original alice in wonderland so my knowledge of the story is from the Disney movies (the original cartoon and the two tim burton ones) and ever after high. I'm just here to have fun with these silly characters and who knows maybe the red queen will show up later.
