ik his storys really only mention science and math stuff but if he doesn't have knowledge on a topic/subject then he won't exactly be able to spread as much knowledge since he doesn't have that knowledge himself

oh now I wonder

honestly I can’t see him being very good at dancing or singing, at least without knowing what he’s doing beforehand, Ratio to me doesn’t seem like a person capable of free styling

however, this gives me the idea of him and Aventurine ballroom dancing, and Aventurine taking the lead, which I adore (also I wrote it already in one of my fics haha)

hate seeing art of aventurine with abs. we all know how i feel about abs as it is but like i don't think the guy who would have been malnourished for half of his life and has been passively trying to kill himself for the other is going to be a twink-shaped bodybuilder .

he's always been unhealthily thin but he never paid it any mind because hey that's just one more thing that might kill him! but after penacony, after he realizes that he's not actually as ready to die as he thought he was, learning to eat regularly and gaining weight is part of his healing process. and maybe that freaks him out at first, as would every other part of recovery, so it's slow going (as is every other part of recovery. because this is aventurine we're talking about LOL). but with time, he starts to look - and feel - brighter and more alive. are you listening to me. like

thoughts on aventurine? i’m playing penacony rn and id love to hear ur opinions

Hello!!!! I'll try to avoid any spoilers since you're going through Penacony right now.

Okay, so, at first I didn't really care about him. I saw a lot of people either thirsting over him or viewed him as a villain back when Penacony's first act came out, but I just kinda forgot he existed, not gonna lie.

The real meat comes from the second act where we got to see more of him and his backstory. We got to see his past which was heartbreaking, we got to see his dynamic between him and Ratio, we got to see his thinking and planning in real time and in general we saw more of him.

I think he's very well written and I do enjoy him as a character. He's not my favourite, but I would put him in a top ten or something.
