A white she-kit with eyes the color of sunlit ice. Whiskerkit was barely more than a newborn when the fire swept through. Her mother managed to get her to safety before dying of smoke inhalation. Whiskerkit is a daydreamer and quick to help.

Thornbush and whiskerwish

Thornbush:

thornbush is the oldest medicine cat of the clans. He is wise, calm and gentle. He's not one to get into clan politics. He just does his job and minds his own business. In his older age, he is more lazy and slow. He has been starting to forget things however... leading to arguments between he and his apprentice.

Whiskerwish:

Whiskerwish is a busy she-cat with very soft, clean fluffy fur. She, unlike her older mentor, is always working. When a new disease swept through the territory, effecting mostly forestclan and meadowclan, she and dockstream worked tirelessly to try and find a cure. When seemingly all hope was lost, whiskerwish got a message from starclan about a mushroom that could cure the disease. Whiskerwish sometimes has that 'im better than you' kind of act however she doesn't always mean this.

A kittypet by the name Selene decided to join the clan. They took on a name Twigchomp and was quickly surrounded by Abyssclan's youth. Whiskerkit gifted them a raven's feather as a welcome gift, Brownpaw welcomed them in and Hailpaw offered to show them around the camp. Twigchomp is delighted.

Hailpaw was surprised when he was made a warrior early. His new name is Hailchest and he was honored for his appreciation. Bud cheered the loudest during the ceremony.

Minkpaw was interested about the lifes of medicine cats and asked Firefly to take her on a herb patrol. During a patrol she decided to share a weird dream she had. Firefly can't make any sense of the dream. Next Moon | Previous | First

Riverclaw left Tideclan as he and Daisystar shared a dislike of the rise of kittypets now living in their former clan. He also knew their group needed a leader.

Early Spring

Beampaw paused, his tail flicking. Burdockheart moved ahead, her paws picking carefully over the burnt ground, before realizing that her apprentice wasn't beside her.

"Is everything alright?" She asked, her voice quiet. She'd been quiet since the fire had swept through, her throat tight and rough from the smoke.

"I smell fox," Beampaw said in lieu of an answer. Burdockheart stiffened. Predators- and prey, for that matter- had been scarce for the last few days. The two of them alone were in no shape to try standing up to a fox, but if it had managed to find a burrow of rabbits or something...

"Can you track it?" She asked. Beampaw opened his mouth to check the air before nodding. Burdockheart followed him, both cats silent. She hissed for him to stop as they crested a hill, and they watched as a tiny fox kit traversed the meadow, a mouse barely larger than a scrape of fur hanging from its jaws.

"No point in following it," Burdockheart sighed. Beampaw glanced at her, confusion in his eyes. "It'll be as hungry as we are and willing to die for that morsel. Besides, that'll be hardly enough to even feed Whiskerkit."

The pair lapsed back into silence continued on their patrol.

"We should spar," Parsleystar said suddenly. Frozenwhisker glanced up at her. Her gaze was fixed on some distant point ahead of her, barely paying attention to him. "I think it'd be nice," she continued. "Might get some stress out of our bodies."

"Alright," Frozenwhisker agreed after a stretch of silence. Parsleystar finally looks at him, flashing a bright grin. It's a wonder she can be so happy, Frozenwhisker marveled, when she lost everything just a few days ago.

The two cats trade blows for a long while, the sun blazing overhead, and despite all the recent tragedy and loss, Frozenwhisker can't help but feel like he might burst with happiness.

Hailpaw saw a very strange dream. Later he asked Tiny for help and both talk through the vision to understand its meaning.

Plumback's gift became a start of a jay feather collection for Bud. She now always wears feathers in her tail.
