7:30am. There’s approximately 30 minutes before my train departs for Vienna, and I still haven’t reached the train station yet. Now, Vienna wasn’t initially on my list of places to visit when I decided to come to Germany, but my best friend, Adrian, ended up booking a spur of the moment flight last week to visit extended family in Austria and suggested I come hangout with her during the last few days of my trip. Seeing as its only a 3-4hr train ride from Munich, I figured why the hell not! I’ve heard Vienna is beautiful, and Im at all not opposed to exploring another city.

My heart began to race, It felt as if I was watching him move in slow motion. “Easy peasy.” He smirked as he turned around and looked down at me, his dazzling dark blue eyes awash with amusement at Adrian and I’s prior struggle. Jesus Christ…This man is an absolute unit. He’s gotta be at least 6 foot 7, if not taller. Lucanis slumped in the chair, sipping his third coffee since the disaster with Antonio just moments before. Spite crouched before the fireplace, staring at the flames as they danced and crackled.

Rook crept out of the dining room some ten minutes ago, when he made his second coffee. He tried not to dwell too much on that whole debacle, but it was still too fresh in his mind. His mind twisted itself into knots trying to comprehend what exactly happened there.

Like a fool, he ruined a perfectly romantic moment because he panicked. It was like a scene from the Dueling Hearts series. He'd even used a line from the second book: "You like to walk a little too close to the edge." He'd always wanted to use that one when he found the right person.

By all means, Antonio could be that person. Steadfast, reliable. They cared for Treviso as he did and stuck by his side even when Spite was at his worst.

»Why didn't you kiss them?« Spite asked, laying on the rug and dtaring at the ceiling. He had been asking himself the same question really. He should have. They both wanted it, so why didn't he?

"I don't know," he told Spite, taking a long sip of his coffee. He furrowed his brow, taking another sip. This cup was far more bitter than it should be. Lucanis was horrendously distracted pondering the whole situation, but he hadn't messed up coffee like this in a while.

But he lacked the energy to make a new cup, so he settled into his chair further and resolved to finish the drink. »You know. Don't want to say it,« Spite insisted.

Lucanis blinked a few times. That was probably true. It was far easier to bury those emotions, safe away from where they could be used against him.

Antonio's pointed ears poked out of their long dark hair, down for once instead of the bun they wore throughout the day. For once, they looked relaxed and it looked absolutely stunning on them. He'd purred the lines he'd always wanted to from his books, slowly backing them against the wall. He leaned casually against the wall, trying to frame them in with his forearm.

Their face was dusted with a blush, keeping up with clever repartee. This was the point at which he should kiss them. He wanted to. Maker, did he! But that was the problem. As he leaned in, his mind warned him. Or maybe it was Spite. These days it was difficult to distuinguish between the two.

"They don't want you like you want them. They take it lightly, when you'd burn the world to the ground for them." Just a few finger widths away from kissing them, he excused himself.

From what he saw, Antonio's affections were spread around amongst the crew. He wasn't a sweet girl like Harding or a powerful warrior like Taash. Lucanis was the Demon of Vyrantium, once. But he was captured by Venatori and came out the other side an abomination. As intense as his affections were, Antonio would be better with one of them. Hopefully, they would see that and move on.

"Thinking about it doesn't make it better," he grumbled, taking another long sip of his coffee. Unbidden, the memory of their scent, of rain and vitaar, assailed his nose. Lucanis scowled, trying to drown his senses in far too bitter coffee.

Spite considered him for a moment. »They will come back. They will see,« he asserted. »Like spark fanned into flame.«

this is like really long, im sorry, i tend to ramble.

also my native language isnt english so i translated a few words i didnt really know with google translate which may be unreliable (talking specifically abt supervising teacher here, but i explained what it means just in case)

also i use all pronouns, listed my gender here as 'idk', so putting this here to clear it up

ok so this might sound really dumb but listen, in my (15idk) class there is this one guy, lets call him wit (15m) and ever since we started high school he's been really troublesome for other people. for further context hes very strongly catholic and frequently talks about his political opinions.

many students of our scholl agree that this would not be much of a problem if he kept at least some respect for others while doing it. wit is infamous in our school for making extremely homophobic and antisemetic comments, ranging from usage of derogatory language and insulting a guy in our class because he's partially ethnically jewish, to stating that homosexuality and transgenderism is mental illness, to saying gays should get shot, making up crazy statistics about pedophilia in the lgbtq+ community and taking a photo of himself doing the nazi salute while holding the flag of the third reich (we live in a country very heavily affected by the holocaust to this day. jesus christ dude). (note that our school has a quite large number of queer people so making these comments in such a public space is already a bit iffy imo.) he also states his opinions as fact, and when somebody tries to debate him on these things (he claims he's up for it) he keeps interrupting them, and in some cases calls them an idiot.

wit actually was in another class before, he switched to ours because his classmates and supervising teacher (translation might be wrong, went off google translate - i mean the teacher held responsible for what the kids in their class do) couldn't stand him (there are rumors that he tried to sue her actually?). our supervising teacher (29m) is well aware of this.

today, he was grading us on our behavior (idk if american schools do this?? it has to end up on our report cards at the end of the year here, we're graded once per semester) and the topic of wit's behavior came up. the day before this, he had gotten into an argument with this one girl, let's call her gabby (15f), because she had 'taken his seat' in our physics class (we don't have assigned seats, and the teacher invited a few kids from another class to write some missed assignments, so there were more students than chairs). wit started off calm, when gabby told him she was there first, he got mad and started shouting at her, and when she didn't want to give up her seat for him (she was calm about this!), he started to attempt to physically get her off the seat by pulling or pushing her off. as far as i know, three people in our class recorded this exchange.

wit got graded 5/6 for his behavior (very good) after our teacher vowed to lower it because of the amount of complaints he was getting about his behavior. this was before our teacher found out about yesterday's situation. today we had two classes with him and he was going to dedicate both to talking about our behavior grades, so we told him about how wit acted yesterday. our teacher was reasonably a little pissed at wit for getting physical, as well as shouting at a classmate. wit tried to defens himself saying he was calmly telling 'this unruly, undeserving of such respect girl' to piss off, but as i said, several people in our class had video evidence of what he did.

the conversation quickly shifted from just the fight in physics to wit's respect for others (or, more appropriately, the lackthereof). this is when his rampant homophobia was brought up. several people in our class voiced their concerns about how most of us feel really uncomfortable when this dude's out there wishing death on all queers. our teacher was really mad at him for continuing making his homophobia this public when he was already repeatedly told that he makes people uncomfortable with it. we also brought up him calling people who dare not have the same beliefs as him idiots and left-wingers (as an?? insult??).

wit's behavior grade was changed to 4/6 (good)

after class, our class president (15f) and i went up to our teacher to show him screenshots of wit being transphobic, not to humiliate him further, but to provide proof of the claims about him still openly hating the lgbtq.

wit seemed to notice this because a few hours after school he texted me to talk about this situation. it started with him being frustrated about getting a 4, then saying he believes he should get at LEAST a 5 (note: he cited 'i respect others' as a reason, lol) and then it very quickly spiraled into him shit-talking gabby and our class president (he called gabby 'wild' and our prez toxic). i told him that he should be happy hes only being graded based on two months (our teacher said he's only taking the time wit was in our class into account, imo this isnt fair at all but ok), when his behavior was somehow better here than previously and that the girls deserved their grades (gabby got a 5, prez got a 6, both are very helpful and in my experience very kind people) and that the reason his grade was lowered was because of the lack of respect for others he was demonstrating right in that moment. he then said i was fake and called me a kabel (polish slang for snitch basically)

i talked to my parents about today, and they said wit is a bad person, but is in the right in my conversation with him. i disagree tbh but im also not entirely convinced im right either because i might have taken it a bit far, but idk, aita??

3. Story Progress

I think this is what most you all are for. Actually, with some help of @turkeyinnovember (Maybe a bit more with a reblog lol) I have done...

The backstories/backgrounds of EVERYONE! Along with a basic story concept.

You can expect 2/3 seperate stories/perspectives in this au. I will be listing the concepts of these plotlines, not the title.

Main Story 1: A girl gets spirited away to a new path in life, which changes her world a lot. The Gods she knows are not what is in front of her. Is she just forced to live a life in a different world? Is it even a different world?

Main Story 2: Did she find him? Or did he find her? No matter, because the Goddess of Knowledge has found a issue she had never faced before: She doesn't know a smidge about him.

Side Story 1: 'To meet a God is a Glory,' they said. One way or another, he finds himself in that exact situation. Is this what he wanted?

Also, the designs are REALLY unfinished. I only have Chillys concept going along, but I appear to be stuck.

Hint: I need ideas for tattoos. Please help me, anyone.

EXPERIENCE/HOW MANY YEARS? : I've been writing for a long time now- way back when I was passing notes in grade 9 classes with friends, or passing them things in the halls. I had an entire notebook just for an idea a friend and I were going back and forth on at one point. It's been 15 years of me being a menace. I didnt get into RPC until I joined Twitter in 2020, and then I left bc it wasn't all a good writing environment due to a toxic person, and now Im here and I am so happy to be writing with everyone that I do.

FLUFF, ANGST, OR SMUT? : It depends. I don't mind smut, but it has to be a build up to it and it will take me ages to write it. Fluff has to have it place and time as well. I can't just write white picket fence happily ever after things, I lose interest way to fast. I adore and love angst, but I do actually like if it has some sweet moments as well. Just to add more flavour when they suffer.

LONG OR SHORT REPLIES? : I wish I could write long replies all the time. Sometimes my brain shuts down and I need to do small things though. Depends on how I feel.

PET PEEVES? : Admittedly, I hate being pressed for replies. Asking for replies is totally fine! Sometimes I forget and yeah, I'll bump up someones reply on my list of things to do. I also dislike when people acting like I favour one writer or another. I go where the muse takes me. Sometimes, someone gets 10 replies, and others get 2-3. I dont like anyone more than another, it's where the dopamine and focus goes to. I have ADHD and I gotta find it somewhere. Sometimes that a single thread, sometimes it's turning off all my devices and reading 3 novels in a day.

ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSE? : Absolutely not. Shivan is the total opposite of me, which makes him so much fun to write. Admittedly, I connect with the fact that Shivan ran away from home (he just did it while I communicated with my parents), and I also did work as an escort for a few years before finding a stable job that helped me go to college. Most of my characters admittedly, end up being queer or trans, because I am queer/trans.

TIME TO WRITE?: Right now, when I can find it. I want to write during the evenings once my schedule clears up, however, when I don't plan on streaming some games.

So one thing about me is that I love incorporating other people’s headcanons into my own. And sometimes that leads to some contradicting headcanons, so in my little brain I have like, multiple different sets of headcanons for a bunch of different characters while also having My Headcanons, those being the ones I believe in the most/came up with without outside influence. I will be listing My Headcanons, but I type that entire preface to explain why some of my posts might be contradictory of the headcanons I list here 🫶

Adding onto the above hc, Kai and Nya's eyes are still pretty dull due to them being like, the last two to realize their powers, while Jay's are extremely bright and vibrant.

Jay- she/they (occasionally he) transfem + gender-fluid, bisexual

Hard of hearing, wears hearing aids. I think the hearing loss has always been there, but I think her elemental power just worsened it, bc you know. Thunder loud.

That being said, I think she was the first to get her elemental powers. I think they got them when she was like, a really really young kid.

Has heterochromia.

Came out as trans like, mid-prime empire.

Has psychosis and suffers from delusions.

Not rlly a Jay hc, but related. Their mom gave them up because she was desperately hoping they wouldn't have an elemental power, but if she did, they'd be near unfindable because she lived through hell and didn't want Jay to have to go through the same.

AuDHD

Nya- she/they transfem nonbinary, bisexual demiromantic

Has a tremor after un-merging with the ocean.

Her and Kai both have pretty bad anger issues.

For a long time after Hands Of Time she hates the way she looks because of how much she looks like her mom.

Still holds a heavy resentment against their parents, because even though it wasn't their choice to leave, them and Kai still had to grow up alone.

Has time blindness, but only after un-merging with the ocean. She became disoriented and confused about the passage of time after being the ocean for so long.

I am very chatty on discord sometimes, and the search function is really helpful for me when it comes to going back and finding old things. People who habitually archive/delete and remake their blogs, especially if they don't make any changes to how they run things, who they interact with, etc. I see it as, like "bringing your bed to your new apartment and being confused as to why you still have bedbugs."

People who post tons of OOCs, as well as things like memes, starter calls, ship calls, etc. while having a massive backlog of drafts and inbox things already.

People who treat OCs/female characters/female OCs dismissively, or as stepping stone interactions.

★   PLOTS OR MEMES: Plots. I honestly don't like memes very much since I feel like they seldom lead to the kind of long-term interactions I like the most, but they're so entrenched on tumblr that I just kinda have to accept them. I would much rather talk to people and plot out loose thread ideas than send in a dialogue prompt from a movie I haven't seen and hope it gets answered and hope that that answer feels like something I can respond to and hope that my reply gets replied to and it's actually a thread. I like doing stuff that develops across multiple threads too, and plotting is much better for that.

★  ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSE(S)?: Not really, I don't think. There are pieces of me in all of my characters, of course, and there are superficial similarities sometimes in terms of like, hobbies or interests, but I think the characters who feel like they got more of me mixed into them are like, D&D characters, or characters from my other blogs.

So I've been around for a while. I was around in 2014 or 2015 during the other group and when Isola came to be back in 2018, I followed. A friend of mine actually was the one to introduce me back in 2014 to the group and I liked it. Before then, I was rping on Skype, Myspace, and some others I forgot. I also used to RP in real life with said friend as well. Damn, so I've been LARPING since grade school and then started writing them out in middle school. I like anime, though I've been watching more Kdramas and just YouTube and shit. Thanks to my partner who's been watching Kdrama with me, I get to introduce all kinds of flavors so I hope she likes it 👀.
