Daddy's Hands
Tumblr media
A soft light illuminated your room from the window on your right. You stretched and groaned, not wanting to face the world today. When you reached out to find comfort in your lover, he was gone. His spot in bed has a phantom warmth meaning his departure was not long ago. As your bare feet hit the cold wooden floor you hissed. You straightened out your sage green silk nightgown and made your way into the hall. It wasn’t long before the smell of toast and bacon filled your senses. If your suspicions were correct, you would find Jeongin in the kitchen.
“Good morning sleeping beauty” his chuckle at his own joke was raspier due to it still being the morning.
“Good morning prince charming” You strolled past him and gave a quick kiss on his cheek. While he was distracted you stole a piece of bacon.
“Wrong movies but I will let it pass because you are so adorable in the morning, princess. Now sit down and no more stealing food!” You followed his whiney instructions and sat at the kitchen island.
You watched Innie finish making breakfast but soon it was your turn to be distracted. Long and slender fingers grasped the whisk tight as he stirred the pancake batter. His other hand skillfully flipped the meat in the pan. When a bit you batter splashed out of the mixing bowl, he used two fingers to scoop it up and pop it into his mouth. How was this so sensual? You two had never fully discussed your addiction to his hands before. When he would tease you for staring too long you usually changed the subject or laughed it off. It was painfully obvious now, as you were soaking the seat below you, that you had a thing for his hands.
“Earth to y/n, baby? Hello?” it was clear he had noticed too. When you snapped back you saw the smug expression on his smirking lips. “Someone sees something they like?”
“I just spaced out while you were cooking, I am probably still tired” you deflected but he wasn't buying it.
“You just happened to be spacing out on my hands? You seem to be doing that a lot these days, hmmm” he grabbed something out from the fridge and set it in front of you. His hand cupped your face gently as he ran his thumb under your bottom lip. He stayed there and played for a second longer before pulling down your lip with the pad of his thumb. A soft moan left you. “if you are so distracted baby, maybe I need to give you something to do” he pulled the bowl closer and dipped his middle and ring finger into the sauce. “tell Daddy how this tastes.”
With that, he opened your mouth up and slide in the two fingers. He let the weight of the fingers sit on your tongue for a moment before he slides further and further back. The sweet taste of honey was left on their trail. As he inched towards the back of your throat you felt your gag reflex acting up. You attempted to pull away but Jeongin was quick to stop you with a hand to the back of your head. He cradled you in a position that should otherwise be sweet but inside was tainted with pure lust. “Uh Uh baby girl, no pulling away from daddy. Taste it” he looked into your watery pleading eyes with his own darkened cold ones. He slipped his fingers as far back as he could and gagged you. You fought back with a coughing fit as spit filled your mouth. When he was satisfied he retreated.
“Messy little thing for daddy” he cooed as the smeared your spit to coat your now plump lips. “What do we say, princess?”
“Thank you, Daddy” Your voice was almost gone at this point.
“Good girl” Along with his words went your panties as he ripped them off of you. “So fucking wet princess. All for me? Just a messy desperate thing for daddy, aren’t you?” he rubbed his hand up and down your cunt.
You moaned in pleasure at his soft petting movements but one particular motion elicited a gasp from you. Your clit hooked on his smooth cold metal rings and you couldn’t help expressing how good it felt. All of a sudden innie’s hand got wetter.
“Oh princess, you liked that? Are daddy’s rings cold on your hot skin? Must feel so nice”. He rubbed his rings into your spot with more intention and pressure now. He loved how you were falling apart in the kitchen chair, all because of his hands. Jeongin knew there wasn’t a single thought besides pleasure in your head. As he slipped in those same two fingers he used to gag you, the others wrapped around your throat.
His instant speed and pacing left you speechless. The fingers around your neck closed tighter and tighter the closer and closer you came to release. It was like his calling card to tell you he knew just how good he was fucking you. Then he hit that spot.
“FUC—DADDY!” you were begging and pulling away but being stopped by the back of the seat. You both knew however that you did not want this to end.
“Take it. Sit there and take it like the desperate girl you are. Finally getting fucked by my hands just the way you wanted.” His hand finally choked you fully. “So be grateful and cum for me”
Those words sent you over the edge as you spammed on his hands. He helped you ride out your high and was careful not to overstimulate you when he pulled out. Before he started aftercare however he had one more thing to do. Jeongin collected your juices on his fingers and shoved them back down your throat, the scene mirroring the one before. As you gaged he praised you.
“Daddy’s good girl”

quick and dirty 3.0 ............
mom married their step dad when they were around three years old. the step dad (known as simply dad from this point forward) comes from a prominent hunter family of bearhold and was a close friend of their mom's before marrying her.
spencer always had a more tumultuous relationship with his dad than his siblings did. their dad wanted the three of them to also become hunters, and while the other two followed in his footsteps without question, spencer was a bit more hesitant. he didn't see the point of doing it as it was a very one-sided humans vs supernatural viewpoint. too bad so sad he, while reluctant, was peer pressured by his siblings to do the same.
married his highschool sweetheart and had twin daughters with her when they were in their early 20s. his wife is also part of a family of hunters and wanted to raise maya and nina the same way. spencer didn't want that, but they managed to compromise that they wouldn't touch the subject until the kids were at least ten years old.
tenth birthday came and went, and with it so did divorce papers. it was a little bit of falling out of love and a lot of not aligning on how to raise their kids. she stayed adamant that she wanted them to be hunters, while he himself didn't even actively part take in it. they decided to share custody though they live on separate sides of town. spencer initially wanted to move, but he didn't want to make his daughters move or leave them behind, so there he stays...
their daughters are now fifteen and attending the same highschool that spencer teaches at. he tries soooo hard not to embarrass them but sometimes it just happens okay :(
refuses to hunt, however he does like to be kept in the loop about it by his siblings. is wary of how his kids are progressing with being taught about it. will check in with them about it even though it makes him a little ill. will absolutely go to war for his kids if it came to it.
idk thats all i had more thoughts but no energy to put into words.

Well, it is.
I am tired. So is Optimus. I... kssschoooosschhh! Snf. I am sick. I cannot recharge while you are screeching, crowing and playing music loudly enough to be heard on the other side of the planet. Snf.
More to the point, young'uns, you need your recharge too.
I'm still on Cybertron time.
Maybe, but we're the only ones that are. Nobody else is. Megatron needs extra rest and Prime's allergies are wearing him out too. They both need extra recharge, not less.
But... if we're quiet about it, we can stay up, right?
No! Wrong! Absolutely not.
Sorry, but if you want to stay fit and healthy, you will do as you are told.

seasons of love
Tumblr media
—how do you measure a year in the life ?
Chan centric
summary :admire how with the seasons changing, Chan too
contain : weight gain , tight clothes , mention of humiliation
A/n : the joke is this idea came to me because of my spring allergies 😭
Anyway enjoy ♡
(o´・∀・)o
🏖
On the crowded beach, Chan was relaxing under an umbrella, savoring the sea breeze and the sound of the waves.
His robust, muscular torso glistening in the sunlight. His broad, powerful shoulders proudly supported her torso, while her muscular arms loomed with every movement. But underneath, his pear-shaped morphology was beginning to stand out. His widened hips formed a striking contrast to his shoulders, and his belly, though still flat, showed signs of becoming more plump as he continued to feast on barbecue and cold drinks.
Next to him, his friend Felix jokingly remarked, You know, Chan, maybe you should slow down a bit with those sodas. You're liable to put on weight, man.
Chan smiled, shaking his head. Ah, man, you're always exaggerating. I'm in great shape! But even then, he felt a twinge of conscience. Maybe Felix was right, but for now, he'd rather focus on the pleasures of summer.
🍂
As the leaves fell from the trees, Chan was faced with an unexpected problem. Trying to pull on his usual pants, he realized they were stuck halfway down his thighs.
Frustrated, he cried out, Changbin, you've fucked up with the washing machine again ! My pants have shrunk
Changbin looked up from his book, one eyebrow raised. Hyung I didn't touch the washing machine...maybe it's you who's getting too big for your clothes
he suggested, avoiding looking directly at the delicate situation.
Chan froze, realizing with horror that this was the truth. His tight pants were a clear sign of weight gain.
But that didn't stop Chan and he continued to enjoy the culinary pleasures of the season.
And the more he ate the more his usual pants no longer rose above his enlarged ass, and he found himself tugging at the seams to try to close them. It's not that bad he told himself as he adjusted his pants.
—Maybe I should just buy a size up.Yet even as he spoke these words, he couldn't ignore the slight double chin that was beginning to form under his once chiseled chin.
❄️
During the winter months, Chan would get carried away by the festive atmosphere, indulging in hearty, meals rich in carbohydrates.
His body began to show signs of its transformation. His belly, once flat and firm, was gradually becoming more massive and spongy, now standing out visibly from his pants.
—I'm not that fat ,he reassured himself as he looked in the mirror, although the clothes stretched against his belly left no doubt about the obvious.
With the winter holidays were Chan's chance to reunite with his family, but also to face their well-meaning comments.
As he stood in the living room, his grandmother approached him with a warm smile. Oh, look at you, Chan! You look so cute with your round cheeks! she exclaimed, pinching his cheek affectionately.
Yes, you look very healthy, darling, added her mother with a radiant smile. Looks like you've been enjoying the good food
Chan smiled weakly, but inside he felt relieved . His family's compliments reassured him with his changing appearance.
🌼
With the arrival of spring, Chan finally realized the extent of his transformation. His reflection in the mirror showed him a man he no longer recognized.
Maybe I should do something he murmured, stroking his prominent belly.Yet even as he formulated this thought, he couldn't ignore the obvious signs of his physical decline. His double chin was now clearly visible, while his cheeks had lost their angular definition. His belly, once flat and firm, now protruded conspicuously from his clothes, transformed into a soft, flabby mass.
His clothes didn't fit like they used to, and every curve of his body reminded him of his weight gain. He approached the scale, hesitating for a moment before stepping onto it. The flashing figure made him frown, much higher than he'd expected.
He rummaged in his drawer and pulled out a few photos of himself when he was younger and in peak condition. The comparison was painful, but necessary.
What's happened to me? he wondered aloud, letting out a sigh.Just then, Changbin knocked on his bedroom door.
—Hey, Chan, the pizza's here! he announced enthusiastically.Chan nodded, putting the photos away before getting up to join his friend.
He didn't know why but he couldn't admit that this transformation didn't make him mad as he was pretending to or maybe i shouldn't change
🏖
Summer returned, and with it came Chan's moment of truth. His reflection in the mirror bore no resemblance to the muscular, confident young man he had once been
it's just who I am now he murmured, accepting every curve and crease as part of himself.
On the bustling beach, Chan stood, his gaze wandering over the sparkling waves. Beside him, Felix smiled, remarking,
—Hey, Chan, you look great! Have you lost weight this winter?
Chan raised a teasing eyebrow, a mischievous smile on his lips.
—Have you noticed? It's all thanks to my special sugary diet! Look at me, I'm magnificent just as I am! With a little effort, you could look like me in no time he replied with a light chuckle, rubbing his belly as he sipped his soda.
Felix burst out laughing, recognizing his friend's new attitude.
—You're right, mate. You look absolutely gorgeous like that ! No one could resist you not
Chan felt good about himself, accepting not only his body but also his friends' teasing. On this sunny beach, he felt free to be himself, with every curve and crease part of his unique charm. It was the beginning of a new era for Chan, a season of confidence and joie de vivre. And at this very moment, he knew he was ready to embrace every moment with a bright smile.
—But slow down on the soda Chan ... i want some too
Chan laughs, maybe next summer he won't be the only one to have changed

Rabbid Lore Headcanon: Hopefully Close As Possible To Canon With Some Insane Reaches
Rabbid Biology?
Mortality:
Aside from their eerily humanoid body, stubby legs, mitten hands, buck teeth, and bulging eyes, one of their most startling traits is being borderline immortal (or as it was described in the Rabbids Invasion movie, practically indestructible). Able to endure horrific abuse and remain not only alive but generally healthy and able-bodied. In a majority of rabbid media, they take the brunt of fires, explosions, chemical burns, crushings, crashings, falls, beat downs, skeletal deformation, and plain mutilation, and though coming out misshapen, bruised, furless, or even missing a limb or two, they still manage to not only recover but find humor in it.
It also appears that they're able to regenerate limbs as well, similar to axolotls, though it's doubtful that they can breathe underwater like them as well. However in some cases, rabbids are seen with visible scars, clear unhealed damage that should have healed the minute it was inflicted, but instead has aged. Such outliers, while perhaps a flaw in their DNA, can also be because said damage had afflicted the rabbid psychologically, and thus, the body couldn't heal it properly (as far as observed, a mentally damaged or genetically flawed rabbid cut in half does not, in fact, stay in half, but the scar of where they had been sliced will remain).
Rabbid deaths are yet to be shown, though perhaps the rabbid zombies in the Rayman Raving Rabbids prototype can account for them, but even then, the cause of their deaths or any potential rabbid death remains unknown, their lifespans being just as endless as the rest of Glade creatures, never dying of old age. Though their deaths are not a commonality, the concept of death is not at all foreign to them. They know what death is and are observed to grieve and create funerals for their lost companions. Sure the companions in question are usually objects, but that doesn't mean they are incapable of showing respect for those who are no longer living, and to some extent, makes them spiritual creatures.
Returning to their mortality, slow deaths such as drowning, starvation, or asphyxiation only put them into comas until other rabbids (or humans) find them to resuscitate them, which surprisingly requires very little effort to do. With how quickly they're able to regenerate or at the very least heal open wounds, falling ill from infection doesn't seem very common, though not an impossibility for the fact that some rabbids can catch colds, fevers, or even develop allergies. But even if these ailments get to a point where they become lethal to the host, it's likely that they only fall into a coma as a way to recover over time.
To allow such quick regeneration, the speed and sheer power of the rabbid's nervous system is so intense that they not only can handle extreme volts of electricity but seem to emit such intense electricity on their own. Practically a living battery that when given a slight shock can cause an explosion of hyperactivity. However the intensity of how much electricity they emit seems to vary from rabbid to rabbid, some emitting enough to disrupt radio signals, some managing to learn how to use this trait to their advantage as a way to power machinery or to shoot bolts of lightning like Zeus, but most of the time it's just a quirk that gives them a bit of a rush when electrocuted. A hardy organism, but would their mutilated limbs have the same hardness as the host? Very likely.
Organic Resources:
A resource that does not age or disintegrate can become a valuable one. A cut-off limb has no reason to regenerate, the limbs collected and often hollowed out to create very durable leather, their indestructible yet flexible bones are utilized for structural support of buildings or tools. The fact that rabbids can bruise and form rashes implies the blood flow within their muscles is similar to that of the common mammal, their only defense being an impenetrable hide, without it their flesh is vulnerable to the elements, as well as cuts and tears, allowing them to be prepared and served as a rare delicacy (though the consumption of rabbid matter should be highly discouraged considering the kind of diet rabbids tend to have, not to mention how chewy the meat is, it'll almost be like chewing a massive chunk of meaty gum). Rabbid hide, bones and flesh being an extremely rare and valuable resource that cannot be farmed for the simple fact that almost nothing can break through the hide of a rabbid, adding to their value. If their bodies are near indestructible, did rabbids dispose of such limbs before Earth? They likely ate them.
Digestive System:
Their stomach acid appears to be extraordinarily corrosive, their odd and powerful intestines able to pass down and gain energy from the rusty metals they consume alongside normal food. Due to this, it has created a habit of shoving anything they find into their maws, either swallowing them whole, sucking them, or taking the time to chew them, though their teeth appear to not be built for breaking down anything other than meats and plants, maybe even some fabrics, plastics and cardboard. Their teeth are structured similarly to a rabbit's, with four incisors and twelve molars, only two of those incisors being the most visible out of all of their teeth, so much so it almost appears as if those incisors are their only teeth no matter how wide they open their maws.
Teeth aside, a rabbid's stomach seems capable of digesting almost anything but even then it doesn't mean that certain items don't harm the rabbid. Surprisingly, they seem prone to stomach aches and stomach bugs, their body reacting just as any would, expelling the contents of the stomach either by the mouth or the butt. One object that seems to have the most impact on not only the rabbid's stomach but their entire bodies is carrot juice. By some bizarre process, carrot juice being mixed with the acids of their stomach triggers an intense chemical reaction within their bodies, creating a yet-to-be-identified chemical that when absorbed into the bloodstream and making its journey to the brain, manages to interfere with the powerful neurotransmitters of the rabbid's brain. Following suit would be what is well known as symptoms of drunkenness, carrot juice mirroring the process that alcohol undergoes within the human body, yet surprisingly a rabbid ingesting alcohol does nothing but make them a bit gassy. Despite having such an intoxicating affect, it only formed an affinity toward carrots, in some cases becoming an addiction.
Another oddity to take note of is their ability to not only hold onto items within their stomach (whether it be food or miscellaneous trinkets) without them dissolving from the stomach acids but also to allow items to pass through untouched without any irritation. For example, if they swallow an item, they can discard it immediately from the other end, the item being no different than how it first went in, the same goes if an item is inserted from behind and is miraculously discarded from the mouth. The muscles are focused and coordinated enough to do it effortlessly, so much so it's usually done for the fun of it. If a rabbid were to be spit roasted, they very likely would not find an issue in it, they may even find it funny.
As for their digestive waste, it's surprisingly similar to human waste, their toxic diet is no different to that of average city folk, and though their numbers are far higher than that of humans, their waste has not become of any environmental concern. How so? Rabbids appear to prefer doing their business in human outhouses or bathrooms. What about accidents or cases of rabbids doing their business how every animal would? It would likely be tended to by some unfortunate human who believed a neighbor had dropped a deuce in their yards. With how common it is for a rabbid to dispose of their waste as a human, current methods of disposing of said waste did not need to be altered by a lot to accustom to rabbid waste, the only changes being the size of such facilities. Just like how all purified water once came from the toilets of man, it also comes from the toilets of rabbid. And just like a majority of organisms, they expel bodily waste from two exists, the anus and urethra, the urethra often sharing orifices with reproductive organs, but compared to other mammals or any creature of Earth and the Glade, their reproductive organs are quite the oddity.
Reproduction:
Rabbits have quite the reputation for reproducing in massive numbers, so it's to no surprise that rabbids would share this characteristic as well, however for modern rabbids, the methods of their reproduction have been altered so drastically that it can no longer be considered natural reproduction, but instead artificial cloning. Before they developed the technology to clone one another - that era being before they had been bullied into violent madness - they reproduced like any other mammal would, sexually.
Sexual reproduction is the process of the genetic information of two organisms being combined to create offspring, one half of this genetic information coming from the male's sex cells (sperm) whereas the other half comes from the female's sex cells (egg), the delicate process that follows being the long incubation of offspring by egg or womb. The length of the incubation, number of offspring, age of maturity, ovulation cycles and general lifespan of an organism has a massive impact on how often they can reproduce successfully. A rabbit's reproduction rate being incredibly high not only due to their short lifespans as prey animals, but also due to their short pregnancies, large litters, quick maturity, and ability to rebreed immediately after kindling, making it possible for one rabbit to have one litter per month. Yet somehow, having the highest reproduction rate of all livestock, rabbids manage to beat a rabbit's numbers by a lot.
How so? Well for one they're Glade creatures, they seem to all spawn in intense numbers (look at Globox), rabbids no doubt sharing this trait to a more rediculous degree as prey animals of the Glade enviroment. Howver one trait that truly sets them apart and adds to their fertility is the fact that rabbids are hermaphrodite. Baring a unique reproductive organ that not only produces both sperm and egg but allows rabbids to be impregnated and to impregnate others, the entirety of their genitalia protected internally and almost invisible from the outside, being so well hidden that even rabbids themselves forget its existence, the only time it becomes visible is when they breed. Not only does this reproductive organ double their litters, considering rabbids have a seemingly endless life span and intense durability, the mortality rate of rabbid kits would be extraordinarily low, almosy all surviving to maturity and becoming one of millions that will be pumping out litters for who knows how long. How the environment they thrived in lasted for so long with their uncontrollable population is anyone's guess, perhaps they were not as indestructible back in the day, which would explain why there are no pre-cloning rabbids in sight, though it's scary to imagine what in the Glade of Dreams was capable of keeping their numbers in check, perhaps they ate each other. Population control aside, while it's simple to grasp how these creatures reproduced in the past, how they reproduce now is quite the puzzle.
It is assumed that after a long period of intense stress and torture, the rabbids reproduction rate would plummet to the point they became completely infertile, which may have been one of the many factors that contributed to their retreat deep into the depths of the earth. From their retreat came not only the rapid evolution in their technology but a completely new culture that focused on senseless self-experimentation, likely as an attempt to reshape their biology into one that can no longer succumb to horrific abuse. With that constant experimentation came the rabbids that are known and feared, having undergone an unknown amount of genetic alterations to the point their very genetic makeup became incredibly unstable making them prone to abrupt mutations.
This instability would be especially apparent in their behavior, having become erratic and violent, their actions impulsive and without reason, the only constant they maintained being the goal for vengeance and war. While their behavioral quirks and technological advancements are a curiosity to behold, for this portion, their reproduction will be the main focus. Either as a result of frequent mutations or continued frustrations in maintaining any form of infancy (surrogacy or artificially), the rabbids eventually discovered that the only method that successfully kept their species alive was cloning (as shown in the opening scene of Rabbids Alive n' Kicking) utilizing massive cloning pools to spontaneously create many rabbids from one. And due to their tendency to mutate, even clones don't end up the same in blood, behavior, or even appearance as the original, especially with the fact that items or creatures are sometimes tossed into these pools, merging those traits and the rabbid's to create unique rabbids. However these mergings are normally used in smaller pools, meant to only create one clone, as a way to ensure that if the merge results in an undesirable rabbid, it would at least only result in one of its kind instead if many.
Exact clones are possible, but the method of which requires more precision. Instead of pools, pods are used to ensure all genetic information is replicated to the very cell (basing off of Mad Rabbid's cloning machine... which wasn't really a pod, more of an emptied refrigerator). Exact-clones are rare, not because of the effort required, but because the rabbids see no purpose in making many of the same rabbid (what if one day they hate that rabbid and by proxy they end up hating a majority of the population?). If an exact-clone is to be made, the rabbid being cloned has to be one of great importance to the colony, for example, scientists.
Almost all high-ranking professors are exact clones of Ph.D. Barranco, the original being the easiest to recognize with their bandages and bruises, having decided to create an exact-clone of themselves before fully committing to their harmful self-experimentation, not trusting any other rabbid to take their place as the top stable-minded professor (they were very insistent about it, and no matter how much they limped and cried in pain, their obsession with experiencing the brunt of experiments was unwavering). That exact-clone being referred to as Barranco II, who would be the superior of all additional Barranco clones, these additional clones supervising non-Barranco pool-clones who have proved themselves to be decent enough scientists. Exact-clones, of course, would technically be considered as actual clones since the rabbid's build and memories is duplicated to the fullest - unlike pool-clones - but rabbids are strange, and with their strangeness comes the need to make up new, very confusing, and contradictory terms.
To no surprise, the mutations and experiments solidified rabbids as mules, but despite being incapable of reproducing sexually, they managed to maintain their primitive mating behavior, or in more crude terms, their ridiculous sex drive. As made obvious in early rabbid media, these rodents are incredibly horny and do not hold back when expressing it, and as a direct result of assimilating with human culture, what they find attractive would align with human beauty standards. They're already not the brightest of creatures, attraction only dumbing them down that much further, courting anything that catches their eye. Whether they're courting another rabbid, a human, or an inanimate object, like a doll or a traffic cone, maybe even a bar of soap. What a rabbid considers attractive is near impossible to pin down, sometimes it's as obvious as a very fit man or a very curvy woman, but other times it makes no sense at all, like a tennis racket or a plunger. Despite their tastes, they seem to be loyal partners, while not as loyal as albatross, they're at least as loyal as humans, one can't help but feel jealous with how a rabbid cares for their inanimate lover.
(A minor note, but due to earth-settled-rabbids progressively becoming calmer and friendlier over time, it may be possible that rabbids have regained some of their fertility. That's if the Rabbids Short featuring a rabbid-human hybrid is canon.)
Subspecies
With such a long period of experimentation and rapid mutations, its to no surprise that some mutations are more common than others, so much so that they're identified as new breeds of rabbid, those being mini rabbids (depicted in RRRGBA, Rabbids Invasion and MxRSparks of Hope) heavy rabbids (depicted in R4, RRR2, MxRKingdom Battle and MxRSparks of Hope), warrior rabbids (depicted in RRR), butcher rabbids (depicted in R4, RRR, Rabbids Invasion, MxRKingdom Battle and MxRSparks of Hope), kaiju rabbids (depicted in Captain LazerhawkBDR) and ancient rabbids (depicted in Rabbids Invasion).
Mini rabbids as the name would imply are a lot smaller than the average rabbid, so much so they could almost be mistaken for rabbid kits, which unfortunately makes them vulnerable to being pet, grabbed and coddled when they don't want to by both outsiders and other rabbids, rabbids in particular treating them as kits, also maintaining some maternal instincts despite no rabbid kits having been born for centuries. They're often more aggressive and more hyper than the average rabbid, likely to compensate for their small size.
Heavy rabbids are a lot larger than the average rabbid, not to mention a lot rounder. Some utilize their size for tasks that require a lot of muscle, while others utilize their size to do what they want to a stubborn degree, knowing well they're a near unstoppable force and immovable object - at least compared to their mini and average counterparts.
A warrior rabbid is almost three times the size of the average rabbid, their fur prickly and dark, their temperament on par with that of a mini rabbid. Their only duty was to guard rabbid hideouts from outsiders, often seen heavily armored and weilding heavy weaponry. They also share a behavioral quirk, that being sleep-guarding (sleep walking but only in their respective stations) which made them extremely efficient guards. They kept order within rabbid societies, doing as Barranco clones command of them and punishing unruly workers.
Butcher rabbids (also known as gorilla rabbids) are the largest of all workers (worker rabbids accounting for all rabbids excluding kaiju and ancient rabbids), as well as the most intimidating with their muscular build and terrifying roars. Despite being quite the weapon, they're mostly tasked with breaking apart materials and food, hence being butchers. With such a terrifying demeanor, they manage to be the friendliest of workers, but that doesn't mean they aren't horrifying beasts when needed.
Kaiju rabbids are the biggest of all rabbids, their emperor (Emperor Jabbit, the rabbid who ruled all of rabbid kind before they had been driven to madness) having been the first to have mutated in such manner, and despite having the ability to destroy entire cities, they're used to dispose of indestructible rabbid scrap (sometimes disposing of rabbids as well), their fecal matter used to power their hideouts. Despite having such a seemingly torturous purpose, the colossal rabbids are content with it, their endless hunger quenched with how much waste rabbids produce.
Now for ancient rabbids, this variety in particular is a bit more difficult to describe when as far as depicted canonically, there is only one survivor, Lapinibernatus. As he claims, he is an ancient ancestor of the rabbid who was living in a global utopia before life on Earth. Thought that explanation completely contradicts the initial invasion of the rabbids, it can easily be explained when recalling the rabbid's most powerful invention, the time traveling washing machine. It is likely Lapini (short for Lapinibernatus) had used one of these machines to travel far back in time to colonize Earth before it was inhabitable for life, creating the utopia he lived in for an unknown amount of time before it all came crumbling down during the Late Heavy Bombardment, no trace left of it as the eras of life on Earth progressed. For potentially billions of years Lapini would be in a coma, his body eventually incased in a block of ice which would be discovered by humans. Earth-settled-rabbids who had infultrated human facilities being responsible for freeing and reviving him. A plausible set of events to how Lapini came to be, but what about his drawings depicting rabbids as having evolved from him?
Perhaps there had been other survivors of his kind who didn't fall into a coma, instead facing the new environmental extremes head-on, forced to use primitive methods to survive. In the wild, high intelligence isn't a trait that survives for long, while it's capable of evolving a species for the better, it's not a guarantee. The energy required to maintain such intelligence across bloodlines is immense, keeping such a trait costing them the opportunity to form more beneficial traits such as strength, stamina, body mass, stronger immune systems, keeping the body warm/cool, and so on. When it comes to an environment of intense competition, higher thought is bred out in favor of more primitive strengths, which could give reason to why rabbids evolved the way they did, growing in body mass and adaptability at the cost of intelligence, a needed sacrifice for the survival of rabbid kind, at least for the variant of rabbids that Lapini was a part of. Why would a rabbid's evolution go from dimwit, to genius, and back to dimwit? Perhaps they were already the perfect organism as dimwits, ideal for adapting to any environment, planet, or dimension, which is made abundantly clear when contrasting the modern rabbid's behavior with Lapini's behavior. A Quiet, anti-social reclusive rabbid is not as adaptable as a loud, social, and invasive rabbid. While these variants are so physically and behaviorally different, there are some traits they all share that are near impossible to breed/genetically edit out of them, such as their odd body structure, bald spots, ears, weakness to carrots, outbursts, love of dance and music.

Commentary on Riddle in Fanfic Series
>>Very specific scene here, needed to write.
Riddle’s eyes can’t help watching No as she enters the cafeteria. She looks safe, and healthy. It’s a relief. He doesn’t—like that he couldn’t help last time. Her hair is different, too. He should’ve pointed it out, right? Ugh… but. She’s… Safe and sound. Instead of getting food and being efficient, he had saved the table. Cater and Trey have just returned. He stands up. “I will be joining No and returning.” “A’ight.” Cater grins. “Careful, it’s a madhouse.” Trey worries a little. “It will be fine.” Grim’s rushed ahead of No, going after a tray and digging in. No’s clearly looking for him, and when their eyes meet?
She smiles.
How happy she is to see him.
It’s a releif. No’s normal.
Her hand takes his so quickly. “C’mon, before Grim takes it all, right?”
He finds himself tugged by that warm hand. It’s not the first time she’s tugged someone off—and honestly he wonders if she notices at this point. Grasping wrists, hands, sleeves—tugging people around her. Somehow the one without magic is leading around so many with it by the nose. Even Leona Kingscholar’s found himself victim to following her whims and path. It’s strange, because he knows she doesn’t notice it at all.
>> So this section is clearly where Riddle's already fallen for her. Just so everyone is clear. He hasn't realized it yet.
Those strange blue eyes he catches again as she looks back at him. “Not a bad line, right?” “Yeah. We’re lucky.” “Well, we are behind Grim—so we’re going to have to be vigilant.” A chuckle, she seems good. “Are you—I mean.” It’s rude to ask in line. “--What do you want to eat?” “Mmm… peaches?” Tapping her chin as she considers, too.
His stomach drops. She can’t be—his temper flares--! >>But at the same time he's still hair-triggered. I mean, she did just threaten to poison herself lol. Bad peach allergy. RIP.
Now, she’s laughing. “I’m kidding Riddle, I promise! I promise. Alright? Don’t worry, No peaches for me. I’m good.” There’s some amusement still in her expression as she finally snags a tray. “I’m thinking a salad with some non-peach fruit and… maybe the pasta?” A decently balanced meal. And, she’s definitely eating more. Good.
“Those are sensible choices.” Of course he approves, she’s not concentrating on junk or too many things that aren’t entirely good for her. It’s all a good mix—thankfully. The dark-eyed picks up a balanced few items. Trying to count some calories in his head, justhe should—stick to it… he is eating so many sweets. It’s not like it’s affecting his waistline but he should be cautious.
“Riddle.” No gently nudges his shoulder.
“Hm?”
“It’s food, take what looks tasty. C’mon!” Oh! A flush comes to his cheeks. Ah, he didn’t need her call out.
>>Sorry Riddle, you just found her super cute here it's not you taking too long. :)
Well, he—picks a few things. Salad, fruit, and a stew bowl of some meat and vegetables floating in a nice broth. Alright.
It’s good. Yeah, food. Maybe—he snags a fruit juice and a water. No’s got water, sensible, of course.
They check out, and he leads. “Come, I’ve made sure we had seats.”
“Good! We’re about in chair brawl territory.” No says some strange things and phrases he has to take time to put together. This is actually understandable. Yet, they take their respective seats. He’s sitting on No’s side, while Cater and Trey are across from them, already dining. It is the cafeteria, so their food choices don’t matter and it is difficult to let that go—really difficult.
>>Riddle is also still struggling with himself though, which means he's not going to really be able to confront himself and his feelings until he's better mentally.
They’re seated, and eating begins. No’s the one to break the topic. “So you’re curious about the third Overblot?” It’s very casual how she refers to it—like she didn’t just face a life-threatening situation for the third or so time since the school year began. There’s becoming used to something—adapting, and the strange way she handles it. Yet, in his knowledge, she has lost most of her kin. Perhaps there’s a casual note due to familiarity and a way to… comfort herself?
>>His observation here isn't entirely on the mark. She has 0 kin. And this is her 5th Phantom and 3rd actual Overblot. The therapist called it a defense mechanism, if he recalls.
>>Stop playing side chair psychologist Riddle.
It would make sense, to need something to fortify herself against the horrors she’s seen. It’s clear that she isn’t from Twisted Wonderland. She has so little understanding of the basics of this world that it’s mind-boggling! Yet, she also introduces so many things that baffle him from her own world.
>>He has to rationalize things doesn't he?
“Y-E-S.” Cater spells out. “Of course we do! We weren’t allowed to do anything, No!” “I’d—also like to hear. You’ve clearly had a difficult time.” He’s eyeing the new haircut. Everyone on Campus has heard the story, especially about No Wei socking Azul Ashengrotto in the face a day or two after beating three Savanaclaw students with a book bag.
>>She's from Texas.
Who KNEW someone like No had such a violent streak? It’s a little frightening, except at the same time she’s… so nice and gentle. Kind. Kinder than anyone expects. There’s a rarity to that—to being so unconditionally nice to people. It’s really not normal, and it’s part of what gets No into these situations—or probably their irresponsible Headmaster. What a strange… person she is.
>>Texas.
No clears her throat, taking a sip of water. “After the anemones appeared, Jack and I ended up following them to the Monstro Lounge, where we saw Azul’s opening drama for his Fish Mafia life. So—basically, we let them suffer a bit until… well. I was cornered, really. Grim and my friends were drug off to an exhausting degree, more than anyone else. It was definitely on purpose and it was… Pretty shitty.” A shrug.
>>It's a TRAP.
But, she continues. “Then Crowley assigned me to solving the problem, threatening the expense of our cafeteria budget.” No frowns a little. “It’s… well, it is what it is—so I made a contract with Azul. I stipulated it myself, which I think made it a wee bit more tolerable. Not great, but more tolerable. I get a photo from this underwater museum, and he releases the anemones and gives me a cut of the lounge’s profits. If I fail, he gets the dorm and my work for the Lounge until I graduate. Steep, but… I assumed I’d be able to figure it out, no matter what he threw at me.” No pauses to take a bite. The juniors give one-another a look. Riddle can’t help how his grip tightens on the fork he holds.
>>No's confidence in herself is astounding to everyone around. But she's now at 3/3 and was at 2/2 and 2/2 (Overblots and Phantoms). It's starting to be her old hat at this point.
“So, it sucks, but what I do is I—of course—well. I get kicked out of the dorm by the Leech duo—since it’s collateral. And first Ace and Deuce offer Heartslabyul and I—refuse, when the more open space of Savanaclaw was offered. We go with Jack, and that’s the fun part, I guess?” There’s another shrug. “We get a mattress in Leona’s room, which was great because I liked having a less-used bathroom than the communal setting.” Oh, uh—Riddle nods to that. Yeah.
>>Private bathrooms FTW.
“—anway, the Leech duo interfere, and I eventually convince Leona to help on a two-pronged attack once we figure out the contracts can be destroyed thanks to Hornton talking a little sense into me. I guess the whole thing fried my brain—it should’ve been way more obvious! Anyway, Leona goes and destroys most of the contracts while I get the photo under the sea. The eels tried to stop us, but it definitely failed. We all meet back up to see Azul freaking out and stealing everyone’s magic with his unrestrained ability. Crazy, right? And—well. He grabs me, tears out my hair, and Overblots. So—we save the day, he cried a l-o-t… and I won. So, really, it works out for me. Pomefiore was even kind enough to give me a free hair cut. It looks nice, right?”
“Y-e-s O-M-G that was INSANE No! Wait—smile!” And No indulges the picture—because she has her camera out and snaps them in a few photos with a grin.
“Are you alright?” Trey asks, of course he’s concerned too!
“Well, now I am. Things are starting to get a little less dramatic and hopefully I’m not drug into another pile of bullshit over Crowley for awhile. This isn’t a Scooby Doo episode where there’s a mystery to solve every week.”
No one at the table understands No’s reference.
She lets out a big sigh. “Nevermind—forget that one. Anyway—it all worked out, right?”
>>The difficulties of a foreign culture. There's really no other way to react than to blink and move on.
While he feels assuaged she’s alright, maybe he should give—well.
“Oh! Right. I also punched Azul in the face.” Confirming the rumors are true.
Riddle winces.
She’ll be fine, but he hopes if there is a next time she comes to him first.
>>THIS is the cutest part. <3 He wants to help. <3

Why Is Your Cat Vomiting? A Guide to Vomit Colors, Regurgitation, and Treatment Options
Tumblr media
Cats are known for their picky behavior, but when your feline companion starts vomiting, it can be quite concerning. Vomiting in cats can be triggered by various health issues, some harmless and others more serious. In this blog, we’ll explore the common reasons for cat vomiting, how to distinguish between vomiting and regurgitation, and what different vomit colors can tell you about your cat’s health. We’ll also look at treatment options to ensure your pet stays healthy and happy.
Common Reasons for Cat Vomiting
There are several reasons why your cat might vomit, and understanding these causes can help you take better care of your pet:
Hairballs: Cats groom themselves by licking their fur, which often leads to the ingestion of hair. Over time, the hair accumulates and forms hairballs, which cats vomit out. While occasional hairballs are normal, frequent vomiting may signal a need for attention.
Dietary Indiscretion: Cats sometimes eat things they shouldn’t, such as spoiled food, plants, or foreign objects. This can irritate their stomach, leading to vomiting. Keeping hazardous items out of reach can reduce this risk.
Food Sensitivities or Allergies: Some cats have sensitivities or allergies to specific ingredients in their food. This can result in digestive upset and frequent vomiting. Switching to a hypoallergenic or specialized diet may help alleviate the issue.
Infections: Viral or bacterial infections, such as feline panleukopenia or gastrointestinal infections, can lead to vomiting. If your cat shows signs of infection, consult a veterinarian for proper treatment.
Parasites: Intestinal parasites, like worms, can irritate your cat’s stomach and lead to vomiting. Regular deworming treatments are essential to prevent this.
Chronic Diseases: Conditions like kidney disease, liver problems, and hyperthyroidism are common in older cats and can cause vomiting. Early detection and treatment of these diseases can improve your cat’s quality of life.
Toxins: Ingesting toxic substances, including household cleaners, certain plants, or human medications, can result in vomiting. If you suspect your cat has ingested something harmful, seek veterinary care immediately.
What Does the Color of Cat Vomit Mean?
The color and consistency of your cat’s vomit can offer valuable insights into their health. Here’s what different vomit colors may indicate:
Clear or White Foam: This can suggest your cat is vomiting bile on an empty stomach. It might be due to hunger or mild stomach irritation.
Yellow or Green Vomit: This typically contains bile, a digestive fluid. Frequent yellow or green vomiting can indicate liver or gallbladder issues.
Brown Vomit: Brown vomit may suggest your cat is bringing up partially digested food, indicating a gastrointestinal problem. If it resembles coffee grounds, it may signal internal bleeding, which requires immediate attention.
Red or Bloody Vomit: Blood in vomit is alarming and could result from stomach ulcers, tumors, or injury. This condition demands urgent veterinary care.
Undigested Food: If your cat vomits shortly after eating, the food may be undigested. This could suggest food intolerance or a condition like gastritis.
Vomiting vs. Regurgitation: What’s the Difference?
It’s important to understand the difference between vomiting and regurgitation, as they have different causes and treatments:
Vomiting: This is an active process where your cat will retch and use abdominal muscles to expel the stomach’s contents. Vomiting often includes bile or partially digested food and is usually accompanied by signs of nausea, such as drooling or excessive lip-smacking.
Regurgitation: Regurgitation is a passive action where food is expelled without effort or warning. It generally occurs soon after eating and involves undigested food. Regurgitation often stems from esophageal issues rather than stomach problems.
Treatment Options for Cat Vomiting
The treatment for vomiting depends on the cause. Common treatment options include:
Dietary Adjustments: If food intolerance is suspected, switching to a hypoallergenic or sensitive-stomach diet may help. Make sure to introduce the new food gradually to avoid further digestive upset.
Hairball Remedies: Regular grooming, hairball control diets, and specialized lubricants or treats can help reduce vomiting caused by hairballs.
Hydration: Vomiting can cause dehydration, so ensure your cat has access to fresh water. Your veterinarian may also recommend fluids if dehydration becomes a concern.
Medications: Anti-nausea medications, antibiotics for infections, or antiparasitic treatments can be prescribed based on the underlying cause of the vomiting.
Surgical Intervention: If a foreign object, tumor, or severe condition is responsible for the vomiting, surgery may be necessary.
Emergency Care: If vomiting is accompanied by symptoms like lethargy, diarrhea, or blood in the vomit, seek veterinary care immediately.
When to Visit the Vet
While occasional vomiting may not be concerning, frequent or severe vomiting should prompt a visit to the vet. Be on the lookout for additional symptoms such as weight loss, changes in appetite, or diarrhea, as these can indicate more serious conditions. Your vet may perform a physical exam, blood tests, or imaging studies to determine the underlying cause of vomiting.
Conclusion
Understanding the common causes of cat vomiting, the importance of vomit color, and the difference between vomiting and regurgitation can help you take better care of your pet. If your cat is vomiting frequently or showing signs of distress, it’s essential to consult a veterinarian for proper diagnosis and treatment.

Many thoughts so read more it is..
“Mommy, I’m sleepy,” she groans, looking up at you. You know how tired she is, her eyes tell you everything. She looks towards Andy, and then at you. He has been amazing. Calm, and rational, while you’ve been a ball of emotions. “Can Andy hold me like you are Suede so I can sleep?”
I get it, I want to be held by Andy to fall asleep too
“No, being a mother is one of the hardest things I’ve ever done, and I love it. But seeing him like this, and how he was earlier; Andy, I could have lost him.” “But we didn’t,” a new round of never ending tears flow freely, and he doesn’t even realize what those two letters mean to you. We. You didn’t have to do this alone. You didn’t have to sit here with Suede, while Scott took Audrey home. You didn’t have to carry all this emotion and responsibility alone.
🥹🥹🥹
“I should have said that he’s a happy healthy boy because of the way that you have been raising him. Your kids are incredible because of you,” you hate crying. Despise it. And today you have cried so much! “Hey,” you look at Andy as he places Audrey in her seat. Taking so much care, so he doesn’t wake her up, “Can you let me shoulder some of this burden?” Placing your baby boy in his seat, you peer at Andy from across the car, and nod your head. Clearing your throat, “As long as you let me carry some of your burdens.”
They really just wann do it all together, the good and the bad 🥹
Her brow furrows while she starts drawing figures in the jury box. Pausing to count each one, and Andy lets out a long breath, “Daddy said I’m going to be a lawyer, so I need to know these things,” she stops again, poking a finger at each figure, drawing in two more. “Twelve.”
There is so much pressure on her and she is just 4 😭
“How does…no. I mean, is he going to always look like that now?” Her face crinkles up a bit, “He was cuter before.”
Lmao I love the honesty of kids and siblings have a special kind of honesty, I know from experience 😅
Are you okay? You know you can talk to your mom, me, even your dad about this whenever you want,” she looks back down at her drawing, and shakes her head. “No, you’re not okay?” “I’m okay, but daddy don’t like to talk about this, and it makes mommy sad.”
She should not have to deal with this 💔
Holding him on your hip as you grab the towel next to Scott, and he grabs your wrist, “You’re being negligent since he came into your life.” “Careful with your words, Scott. Because you purposefully let that woman bring a cat into my house, knowing our son was allergic,” you jerk your hand away from him, and bring the towel with you. Getting into the bedroom when you maneuver it around Suede’s body. “You do not get to put this on me. Just today your fiancé was telling us how Suede would like apples with walnuts on it.”
Yes!! Tell him!!👏🏻
“You got as much to say as she does with Taylor living with you. For the past three months, if I recall. That is when her apartment lease was up, and it wasn’t renewed. Now, I’m guessing since she hasn’t signed anywhere else, and you added another person to your own rental agreement, that she officially lives with you. So let’s quit going tit for tat, Scott because I got you beat. Whatever happened in the past, is the past. Currently we’re all trying to make sure that kids are happy and healthy. Suede is happy, and despite an added allergy, he’s healthy. Audrey is happy, despite her drawing a courtroom for fun,” Andy will continue to bring this up because it disgusts him. She should be playing with Barbie dolls.
Wow this was perfect 👏🏻
“And he doesn’t have to kick you when you’re down. What are you two doing?” You don’t move, just smile at the kids being able to see you and Andy love each other. It takes two point five seconds before they run, and crash into your back. “Do not get all silly, it’s bedtime,” they’re happy. They’re happy despite the chaos and hurt of the day. Giggling and having fun. Seeing true love between the adults in the house. A family in every sense of the word.
🥰🥰🥰
His eyes are so glossy, and you want to hold him so tightly. He didn’t have a family growing up. Didn’t have a present mother, father was in prison, didn’t have siblings, and you knew how much he wanted moments like this. “I’m fine,” Andy opts to keep his shirt, and pajama bottoms on. You get it, but you do love his topless suggles.
The moments he always wished for 🥹
Audrey shrugs, sitting up in the bed to look on the floor, “There’s room for him to sleep down there,” you shush her. Already she was getting too excited about Ann visiting. Ransom would never sleep on the floor, but she didn’t have to know it.
Haha just imagining Ransom on the floor for a sleep over 😂
Today has been exhausting, but this is the way you would want it to end. Suede’s rattling breathing on your chest, Audrey snuggled next to you, a hand holding Suede’s and a foot on Andy’s waist. She’s making sure she touches everyone.
She's so sweet 🥰
That is all it takes for Audrey and Suede to reach for the bags, pulling out the perfectly stuffed tissue paper. Audrey squeals as she holds up an iPad box, and your head immediately jerks towards Ransom, and Suede giggles, pulling out his own. “Ransom!” “What, they’re minis. And, they have their own data, so they can call you whenever they want.”
I love that his reasoning is that he got them not iPads but iPad minis 😂
Halfway through the trial, and a warning from the judge, Andy realized that Scott never thought you would move on. Thought that you would be there waiting on him for when he and Taylor inevitably split up. A man that wants to belittle a woman, just so he can weasel himself back in, but he didn’t know you.
He really is the worst 🤢
“You’re a pig, and that is the least of the things I can say. You called your own children baggage, and the only drama in her life is you. You want to say you got the best years, and you didn’t. I got all her firsts, and I’m going to have all her lasts, and you’re going to be a sad pathetic lonely man. Do you get that? Clearly you do, and that’s why you’re so bitter. You were a placeholder in her life, one that gave her the two best things you could, and you don’t even realize it. You had it all. Everything, and you threw it away for a woman that’s barely a woman, and when she’s bored, she will leave you. And if I ever hear you say another thing about my future wife…”
Ngl I love Andy's rants against Scott 🤭
No one has ever told you they love how you are a mother. It was just something that was expected of you. But hearing it from him is nearly painful. A pain that reverberates through your body because you believe him, and his words are strong. It’s a love that is so powerful it stings and overwhelms.

“Damn right it is. Go to sleep, little deer. I’ll clean everything up, and unlock the door, okay?” You smile, and nod. Letting beautiful dreams of unknown children, and your two oldest run around in a big backyard. What a dream. What a beautiful dream.
A dream that hopefully soon will be reality 🤞🏻

Lifting up Suede’s hand, you kiss over his welts and swollen skin. He had finally gone to sleep a little bit ago, and now you get to fully look over his pitiful body. Eyes puffy, nearly swollen shut, while welts dot over his exposed skin in a grotesque painful looking way. Putting his arm down, you glance over at Audrey who is nodding off to sleep. Lifting up her hand where a pretty pink bandage now resides to kiss her sting as well. She was a trooper through it all.
It hadn’t ever occurred to you how much Andy stepped back more with Audrey. Not because he didn’t like her or wasn’t comfortable, but because she has a voice, and she has a great relationship with her father. So instead of forcing, Andy waits on her. “If it’s okay with him, why don’t you ask?”
“Andy,” she sleepily says looking at him. He already leans back in the chair, but waits for her to actually ask him, “Can you hold me, so I can sleep?”
“Of course, princess,” you hold her hand, so she can jump off the exam table, and she wobbles one time before she gets to Andy, and he picks up your abnormally small daughter, and lets her koala on him, using his shoulder as a resting spot for her head. It’s nearly instantly her breathing changes.
“Thank you,” you sigh, wiping tears from your eyes. You thought you loved Andy, but seeing him in dad mode makes you love him more. It still shocks you just how much you do love him in this state, “Not just for that, but today. All of it. It was a good day, until it wasn’t.”
“Were you aware of his allergy to bees?” You shake your head no, and tears steadily stream down your cheeks. It is just another thing to add to his growing list. Food allergies were terrifying, but you still had ways to control them. Bees are something you can't. You can’t keep him inside, locked up in a bubble.
“Honey,” Andy coos, trying to soothe you from afar, and you shake your head in frustration. Wiping away the saline trails that stain your face.
“No, being a mother is one of the hardest things I’ve ever done, and I love it. But seeing him like this, and how he was earlier; Andy, I could have lost him.”
“But we didn’t,” a new round of never ending tears flow freely, and he doesn’t even realize what those two letters mean to you. We. You didn’t have to do this alone. You didn’t have to sit here with Suede, while Scott took Audrey home. You didn’t have to carry all this emotion and responsibility alone.
“Seeing him like that never gets easier.”
“How many times have you had to use the EpiPen?”
“That was just the second time. But it was somehow worse. It happened so fast, and I could see him straining to breathe, and he just couldn’t. And he was just looking up at me, so scared, and in so much pain. Seventeen times,” you lament. “He was stung seventeen times. And everything was rushing around us, and all I could see was my baby unable to just breathe. Allergies suck.”
“Fuck allergies,” you snort out a laughter as you brush back Suede’s curls. Even swollen, he is one of the most beautiful babies you’ve ever seen. Him and Audrey tied. Everyone thinks their own children are beautiful, but you just know, you have the most beautiful babies ever.
Andy stands abruptly when the door opens, followed by the doctor. Audrey never stirs, and he holds her tighter. It was such a fluid motion, like he was meant to be a father. Standing at attention for any news. “Alright, Mr. And Mrs. Huffman,” Andy rolls his eyes, but doesn’t say anything. The doctor thought the kids were his, and that’s all he cares about. Even if the last name annoyed him.
“I think it’s safe to say that Suede is allergic to bees for now. Here’s a prescription for a new EpiPen, and we’ve got him scheduled for a visit with his allergist. He needs to be tested again,” you assumed that was coming, and you dread it.
“Is there a possibility he isn’t allergic and it was because of the amount of stings?” Out of the corner of your eyes you see Andy slowly rub over Audrey’s back. Whether it was to keep her asleep or his own anxiety, you’re not sure, but in a weird way it soothes you.
The doctor sighs, “It’s possible of course, but you still need to go to the allergist. Other than that, he’s fine. He’ll probably need to do a sinus wash, give him his antihistamine, monitor him, but other than that, he’s free to go,” you nod. Overwhelmed, and exhausted yourself. Scooting to the edge of the exam table before Andy steps over, holding out his hand.
“Mrs. Huffman, I see you look defeated, and you shouldn’t be. He’s a strong boy, and you reacted quickly. You did everything that you could to prevent anything terrible. Don’t beat yourself up. Your son is a happy healthy boy because of how you two are raising him,” Andy beams. Standing up straighter, but then he looks at you, softening his smile as he helps you off the table. “Suede deserves lots of rest, and may I suggest mango sorbet?”
“We’ll keep that in mind, doctor. Thank you,” his words lift so much pressure off your back. Exhausted didn’t even begin to describe the way you feel. Exhaustion laces through every fiber of your body as you and Andy walk out of the ER. His hand firmly planted on the small of your back.
“I should have said that he’s a happy healthy boy because of the way that you have been raising him. Your kids are incredible because of you,” you hate crying. Despise it. And today you have cried so much! “Hey,” you look at Andy as he places Audrey in her seat. Taking so much care, so he doesn’t wake her up, “Can you let me shoulder some of this burden?”
Placing your baby boy in his seat, you peer at Andy from across the car, and nod your head. Clearing your throat, “As long as you let me carry some of your burdens.”
“Doe, I’ve never kept any secrets from you. You know all about my life, my family, and you still want me in yours and their life. But yes, if it gets too hard, we can be each other’s support,” for the first time since you heard Suede’s pained cries, and Audrey’s shrill screams, you smile. This is a difficult situation, but knowing you’re not alone as you trudge through this uncharted territory helps. Things don’t feel so heavy.
Settling into the car, Andy grabs your hand in his own quickly, while you lay up against his shoulder. Just breathing, and just listening to them. All of them. Including Andy.
——
“Auds, what cha doing?” Andy places another dish in the dishwasher, while Audrey sticks her tongue out, scribbling something on a piece of paper. She sits up on her knees with her face so close to the paper. “Audrey, you’re going to hurt your eyes,” and she sits back a bit more, and looks up at Andy.
“Who is the ban-if again?” Her head twists to the side, looking like a puppy as Andy throws a towel on the counter, walking towards the dinner table. He looks down at the picture Audrey has been coloring, and bites his tongue.
“This is the judge. That is the defense attorney, and this is you, the prosecutor. But what is the ban-if? I can’t remember.”
“Bailiff,” Andy says softly, reaching for his own crayon. He draws a person, and Audrey looks up at him smiling. “Do you remember what they do?”
“Umm,” he tries to make sense of this. Tries to figure out why a four year old is drawing parts of a courtroom for fun when she should be actually playing. Or coloring My Little Ponies or something. Anything but this. “That’s the one that is like a police officer? And they can take criminals back to jail?”
“Yeah, they’re the ones that keep the courtroom safe. Why are you doing this?”
Her brow furrows while she starts drawing figures in the jury box. Pausing to count each one, and Andy lets out a long breath, “Daddy said I’m going to be a lawyer, so I need to know these things,” she stops again, poking a finger at each figure, drawing in two more. “Twelve.”
Audrey leans back in her chair, looking up at Andy, “Can I have an applesauce pack?” Finally something normal for a child. He gets up out of his seat, and returns with two pouches. One for him, and one for her. She only eats one squeeze before she stares at her drawing. “Did Suede almost die?”
“No,” he answers without hesitation. Not almost. He could have, but everyone did what they needed to do.
“He looked purple though,” Andy’s fingers drum over the kitchen table, trying to think of a way to answer her questions. Questions that you might refuse to answer. “I tell Taylor that Suede can’t have walnuts or eggs because he’ll die, but can he really?”
“Yes, he can. But that’s why we carry those pens with us. They’re the safety measure until we get him to the hospital. As long as we’re careful…”
“How does…no. I mean, is he going to always look like that now?” Her face crinkles up a bit, “He was cuter before.”
“The swelling will go down. I’m sure it’ll look different for a few days, but it won’t stay that way. Are you okay? You know you can talk to your mom, me, even your dad about this whenever you want,” she looks back down at her drawing, and shakes her head. “No, you’re not okay?”
“I’m okay, but daddy don’t like to talk about this, and it makes mommy sad.”
“I’ll always listen. Mommy will, too. Even if it makes her sad,” he sees a slight grin edge up on her face before he settles back into his chair, and she picks up a different crayon. He couldn’t stop what’s already been done, so might add to it, “Where does the witness sit during cross examination?”
Her body wiggles around excitedly, drawing a square next to the judge, and then a little figure, “Good job, sweetheart,” he says, flicking his head towards the door before he jogs off to answer the knock. “Evening, Scott.”
“Where’s my son?” he pushes past Andy, and into the foyer, walking down the hall, and deeper in the house. Looking around the living room when he doesn’t see Suede. “And my daughter?”
“Audrey is doing courtroom homework in the dining room, and Suede is getting a bath in the big tub,” he flicks his eyes towards the dining room, before returning to Andy. “Audrey’s fine. I think you should check on Suede.”
Scott rolls his eyes before walking towards his old bedroom. Glancing towards the open closet, and his jaw tightens. Andy’s clothes were all in the closet. In the hamper. A different bed. He barely knocks on the door to the bathroom before opening it, and Suede looks at you before standing up in the tub, and trying to give you a hug. You softly run your hand up and down his back, keeping your movements slow. Careful not to be harsh on his welts.
Scott scans over Suede’s body before leaning back on the bathroom counter, and Suede gives him a little smile, realizing he wasn’t there to take him from you. You keep humming the song you had been humming before Suede squats back down, and falls into the water with a laugh.
“How is he?” It’s one of the first times you’ve ever felt like Scott has sounded concerned for Suede. “How many stings? My god. Buddy, you okay?”
“Chess. Mama. Na Na,” his few words turn to gibberish, and Scott pinches the bridge of his nose.
“He’s got to go back to the allergist, and get pricked again,” your hand skims the warm water. Trying to relax Suede, but relax yourself more. The ability to see all his stings hurt you so much.
“I think it’s safe to say that he’s allergic to bees. How many stings?”
Suede’s hand reaches towards yours before he stands, and creates a slide down the back of the tub. Giggling before doing it again. “You know I don’t like when he does that in my house.”
“Seventeen times,” you try to change the subject. Suede rarely took a bath in the big tub. And as soon as you caught Scott fucking the babysitter, his rules for your children having fun didn’t apply anymore. “Audrey was stung once.”
“Is she okay?” Keeping your eyes on your baby, you roll your eyes, but nod.
“Yes. They got the stinger out, and gave her a pink unicorn bandage. There’s a little bit of swelling, but it’s her left hand, so she can still hold a crayon.”
“I can’t tell if you’re being condescending or not,” not towards your daughter, but towards his priorities.
“And neither can I,” everything you said was the truth, and under normal circumstances, you wouldn’t have cared for his concern. But here sits his son with seventeen stings, welts, swollen, wet coughs, and a snotty nose, and he’s worried about one sting. “His face turned purple again.”
“And how long did it take you to get to him?” Even though his words are calm, they cut deeply. Watching Suede now, you realize this evening could have ended very differently in a matter of seconds.
“It didn’t take long, but his airways had been sealed shut.”
“Seventeen goddamn times,” he says your name, and tears instantly flood your vision. “What the hell were you doing when our baby was stung that many times?”
“I was closer than you were.”
“Because it was your weekend. I would have never…”
“I didn’t know he was allergic to bees!” You shout, causing Suede to flinch. You take a deep breath, continuing the conversation softer, “Do you think I want my children to be stung? For them to feel any pain? Especially when it comes to their lives?” Suede whispers ‘Mama,’ standing up in the water, and he leans against you. “Do not put this on me, and act like it was my fault, I already feel guilty enough as it is.”
“You should!” Your eyes squeeze shut. Inhale. Exhale. You slowly open your eyes and look at Suede when you pick him up out of the tub without a towel. Holding him on your hip as you grab the towel next to Scott, and he grabs your wrist, “You’re being negligent since he came into your life.”
“Careful with your words, Scott.
“That’s different!”
“How?” You shout. Actually raising your voice, and then pull the towel covered Suede closer against your body, while you snuggle him. “How is that different?”
“Because she didn’t actually do it! You’re the one that was stupid enough to take your eyes off our kids, probably to make out with Andy fucking Barber!”
“It’s time for you to leave,” Andy’s presence is enormous as he steps into the doorframe. Hands on his hips, and his voice so calm, and yet demanding. It’s easy to see why he is feared in the courtroom. How everyone knows he will be a judge one day. “You’re not coming into our home and talking like that in front of the kids.”
“Take a look at the deed, you prick,” Scott spins on his heels stopping in front of Andy, “There is no ‘our’ with you. There’s not even ‘our’ with me. There’s one person’s name on that deed, and it’s not hers. You want to know the reason why she’s still living here?”
“Because she’s got your children. You wouldn’t want her and the kids to be homeless now, would you?” Scott and Andy silently stare at one another. “I would have given her the house, too, Scott. It’s what good men do, right?”
“I’m still going for sole custody. This incident will be recorded. I’ve already gotten a copy of his ER discharge papers,” Andy’s eyes go ablaze with every disgusting word he says.
“No! Scott, don’t you dare! You don’t even want him. You let her bring a cat into his home! That was intentional,” you hold Suede even tighter, and Andy raises his hand slightly, keeping his eyes on your soon to be ex husband.
“Scott, you’re going to quit threatening my girlfriend.”
“My wife,” Scott gives him an evil smirk.
“That you cheated on,” Scott blinks quickly, looking away for a split second, “I should probably look at the prenup agreement, huh? You’re going to quit with your idle threats, you’re not going to push for sole custody. You’re going to carry on with the agreement that was settled in mediation, and when we find a house, you can have this place back since you’re the only one on the deed.”
“We’re still married. You know I can have something to say about you living here,” you wish he would. You wish that he would say something. Pig.
“This isn’t over,” Scott grunts before shoving past Andy’s shoulder. He stops to look towards the dining room before walking to the front door, leaving with a slam, and not a word to Audrey, and you gracefully fall to the floor. Clinging to and rocking Suede.
Exhausted.
Mentally exhausted.
Andy reaches on the bed, handing you Suede’s pajamas and cream. Sitting on the edge of the bed quietly as you put a diaper on him. Rubbing the cream into all of his stings. Slipping those pajamas on before lifting him up and holding him so tightly, and still he says nothing. He stares out into space.
“Suedey, you want to go get sissy so we can get everyone in bed?”
“Chess,” he runs off, and you spin to look at Andy. He’s the only reason you’re upright at this moment. He has been your strength.
“Would you tell me if I overstep my bounds?” You get to your knees, crawling in between his thighs before laying on his lap. Extending both arms around his waist, and just hug him. “This is too sweet, but you’re not answering.”
“Yes, babe, I’d tell you. You know you’re the only person that’s ever taken up for me,” Andy gives your back scritches. Sighing as his body relaxes. Going limp almost at your calming touch, “You didn’t have to go so hard on him with the house, but I loved it.”
“Since…since Suedey is sleeping in here, can I sleep in here, too?” Andy looks at you, and you look at him, and without saying a word, and barely either of your faces changing, you know the answer. You give her a nod and she runs, struggling to get into the bed.
Suede’s eyes already get heavy, his antihistamine kicking in. Audrey understood that her brother is going to sleep on your chest all night, while you hardly sleep. A paranoia of his breathing stopping, so you need to watch his body rise and fall with his oxygen intake.
“How about a movie?” Audrey asks, motoring her lips and blowing a raspberry. She’s extra cute when she thinks she’s being sly.
“One movie. Lights completely out,” you tell her, crawling into the bed with Audrey. “Andy?” It isn't hesitation in his eyes as much as it’s observing. Smiling as Audrey leans over on your stomach. Wiggling around to get comfortable, and then reaches for her brother’s hand. “You okay?”
“Is there room for me?” He asks lifting his edge of the bed’s covers up.
“Chess, Na Na! Hewe!”
“You hold mommy’s hand.”
“I don’t mind if I do,” Andy leans over, giving you a quick peck to your temple, causing an uproar of sleepy laughter, and he weaves his fingers in yours. His other hand grabs the remote. “I say we watch Winnie the Pooh,” both kids nod, giggling again.
“Next time can Ann come to our slumber party?”
“Where is he going to sleep, baby?”
Audrey shrugs, sitting up in the bed to look on the floor, “There’s room for him to sleep down there,” you shush her. Already she was getting too excited about Ann visiting. Ransom would never sleep on the floor, but she didn’t have to know it. She settles back in between you and Andy, and you glimpse her edging a little closer to him. Finally, sticking her foot out, so she can touch him, too.
Touch is a way she shows her comfort. Before Suede was born, if she slept in the bed with you and Scott, she’d lay diagonally between the two of you. Hands on you, feet on him. It feels right. Like they’ve always belonged to him. To you and him.
Today has been exhausting, but this is the way you would want it to end. Suede’s rattling breathing on your chest, Audrey snuggled next to you, a hand holding Suede’s and a foot on Andy’s waist. She’s making sure she touches everyone. And the man that you know is without a doubt your soulmate. Your mate. Your best friend. And the man you are going to marry, once the divorce is over. But there’s a part of you that also believes you could maybe give him a child. It’s what he deserves.
“Thank you,” you whisper to him, and he pulses his hand around yours.
“Get a couple hours of sleep. I’ll watch his breathing,” you thank him again, but you can’t sleep. Not like that. You're sure he’s fine, but a mother will forever worry. But tonight, the worry isn’t as bad because you have your entire world in one bed.
——
“Uhh!” Suede stops his playing in the middle of the floor. His eyes big and wide as he stares at you, and then at Andy. “Hewe!”
“I’ll get it!” Audrey runs towards the door with you close behind. Going as fast as her short little legs will carry her, and Suede is right behind. She slings the door open, gasping as she stares at the tall man, “Uncle Ann!”
“Uncle?” Ransom asks confused.
“Ann!”
“Ran, what are you doing here?” He brings his hands out from behind his back, shrugging as he holds out two gift bags, too expertly decorated, and you give him an odd look. “What are you doing?”
“One, two!” Audrey shouts. Jumping up and down, and getting the same reaction from Suede. “There’s two, that’s for me and Suedey!”
“It is. Can I come in?” You step aside, waiting for Ransom to enter before closing the door, “Where’s your less than desirable boyfriend?”
“I heard that,” Andy steps out of the kitchen, extending a hand to his colleague, and Ransom shakes his head no. “I was cleaning up after lunch,” Ransom grimaces, “Doe made lunch, I cleaned up. And then for dinner we’re ordering out.”
“Indian!”
“Chess!” as if in response Andy smiles wide, noticing the presents, and both kids chasing Ransom’s arms that keep lifting the bags up. You have kept both kids out of ‘school’ until Suede fully heals. Needing to see what his new allergies are before you let him out of your sight. Audrey wanted to stay with her brother, much to Scott’s chagrin.
“Me?” Suede asks, jumping up and down excitedly.
“Yes, one is for you.”
“Let’s clean up the living room, and take everything back to the playroom room first,” the kids groan, but head into the living room, “Keep him here, until we’re done. It’s a mess,” Andy watches the three of you leave with the biggest smile on his face.
“So you made this thing social media official. Profile pictures changed to a family photo. I’m sure Scotty is going to love that,” Andy rolls his eyes playfully, starting to walk away, and Ransom chuckles. “Cute fingernail polish.”
“Audrey got bored during Suede and Doe’s nap. I’m taking it off before tomorrow. What’s in the bag?” Ransom shrugs with a smile walking down the hall before stopping. “Thought you were going to be cocky, but didn’t know where you were going.”
“Listen, I don’t get sappy, and I’m not going to start right now, but you suit this life. Maybe not in this dump of a house, but with her, the kids, maybe more kids,” his eyebrows raise and fall a few times, and Andy gets the biggest grin, “You’re already trying aren’t you? Before the divorce is finalized, that’s risky.”
“I know. I know. Her doctor and Scott really did a number to her self esteem with another pregnancy. But I am hopeful, and I enjoy the practice,” he turns around quickly, causing Suede to flinch before he giggles, screaming back down the hallway and into the living room, “I think he’s telling us they’ve cleaned, and he wants to see what the present is. And if it’s expensive, she’s going to complain.”
“Then I suppose I’ll hear her complain,” gesturing down the hall, Ransom lets Andy lead him into the living room where Suede and Audrey sit cross legged in the floor. Practically buzzing with excitement, and trying not to make grabby hands. Looking at their mom and then at Ransom. “I don’t know why you’re waiting on me.”
That is all it takes for Audrey and Suede to reach for the bags, pulling out the perfectly stuffed tissue paper. Audrey squeals as she holds up an iPad box, and your head immediately jerks towards Ransom, and Suede giggles, pulling out his own. “Ransom!”
“What, they’re minis. And, they have their own data, so they can call you whenever they want.”
“I can call from upstairs?” You shake your head no, and Audrey pouts a bit. “Why not?”
“You can if it’s important, but these will be kept up at night. You’re not going to sit and play with them all day. You’ll have to earn time on it,” you never want your kids to be addicted to media.
“Can we take it to daddy’s and I can call you there?” You glance towards Ransom who gives you a warm smile, nodding. “And we won’t even have to ask to FaceTime you!”
“Chess!” Suede takes his box over to Andy, crawling in his lap, and he gives it a tap. “Pease, Na Na.”
“Doe, I think they earned this. And it would be a nice opportunity for the future,” there is so much more to these than either of the men are making it. It’ll be an issue with their father. But to have the ability to call them whenever they’re at Scott’s would be a huge relief. You can only answer with a nod, motioning Audrey to let you help her open the box. Whispering a thank you to Ransom.
Relief warms your body. It could be just for the moment, Scott may not let them use the iPads, but right now, you have an ease when you didn’t realize it was something that bothered you. Now that Suede has at least one more allergy to deal with, you just know nobody watches him quite like you do. Even his father. Even Andy. And that’s something you have to deal with in your own time.
——
Andy nods his goodbye to the judge, collecting all his things, and tries to keep his eyes on his task. It was a trial with Scott. Andy had thankfully remained calm and collected, while Scott was losing grip on the trial. Taking things far too personally. The Neanderthal part of Andy wants to lash out at Scott, wants to tell him to grow up. The little man with a big issue.
Halfway through the trial, and a warning from the judge, Andy realized that Scott never thought you would move on. Thought that you would be there waiting on him for when he and Taylor inevitably split up. A man that wants to belittle a woman, just so he can weasel himself back in, but he didn’t know you. Cheating was always your ‘I’m done and never going back’ moment. And why anyone would want to cheat on you, the perfect woman, is beyond him.
He grabs up his briefcase, heading towards the door, and finally free from him and today. He is almost gone, “At least I got her best years,” Andy stops immediately. Contemplating how he wants to deal with this. How he wants to address Scott’s demeaning comment. During his thought process Scott walks past Andy, brushing roughly against his shoulder.
“Is there a problem?” Scott spins around, shaking his head no. Thankfully the courtroom has cleared out, but Andy is so tired of these mind games. The threats. The disgusting behavior. The low blowing comments. He’s hitting a peak that he knows he’s going to have to address. “Honestly, what’s your deal?”
“Nothing,” he acts as if to move, and then stops, “You really don’t need her drama. You’re a good looking man, and have younger women vying for your attention. You could have a woman without baggage, and one who can still give you a child,” Andy’s teeth clench just as hard as his fists. “Think about it. Your own children with your last name. And besides, you know, everything is tighter.”
“What?” Scott interrupts, and Andy smiles, resuming his walking. Let Scott ponder the things that Andy could do if he wanted to. Let him sit and think about all the things Andy could do to ruin him, while he gets to go home to you. He isn’t waiting, a new house will need to be found. Scott is pushing too many boundaries, and being shameless about it. Tonight, he just wants you to feel all the ways that he is better, and the ways you are better with him. How perfect you truly are.
——
Andy watches you from the bed. His book laying on his stomach, and his eyes flit over your entire body. For one, he just loves to look at you. He loves seeing how even though you and your body have changed, you’re still the most beautiful woman he has ever seen in his life. You’re immaculate. Perfect. He just hates he missed so many years of getting to absorb you.
Another reason he watches, you seem tense. There’s an off-ness about you this evening that he can’t put his fingers on. Coupled with the words from Scott earlier today, it bothers him. You peer at yourself longer in the mirror than you normally do. You turn your body to the side, your eyes looking up and down your body. Do you not see what he sees? Do you not realize how amazing he finds your body? How every bit of the added curves are something that he wants to kiss.
You look into the mirror, and it’s like your face falls. You don’t see you like he sees you. You don’t understand the goddess that he gets to be in the presence of every day. Every fucking day he gets to be in your orbit, and he’s thankful, but you’re looking at yourself like you hate what you see. Even as a teenager you didn’t have this much self esteem issues, and he wonders what Scott has ever said to you to make you doubt your beauty, despite your flaws.
You turn to look at him, and quickly your vision falls to the vanity in front of you, twiddling your fingers on your gown. Andy places a bookmark in his book, laying it down on the nightstand before walking into the bathroom with you. Standing behind you, while his hands trace down the sides of your body. Circling his arms around your front before he pulls you into him.
His nose inhales your newly bathed scent. Slowly making his way higher before nipping at your jaw. “Doe, honey, what’s wrong?”
“Nothing,” you lie, and one hand moves to your breasts, the other trailing further south. “Andy,” his brow furrows as he looks at your reflection. That sounds like a plea for him to stop. “Why are you with me?”
Sighing, he rests his chin on your shoulder. His hands stop, but they don’t leave their spots. Andy only looks at your reflection, “Because I love you.”
“Why?” If he could get away with it, he might kill Scott. You are a woman that is now going to question his motives because of Scott. He knows that Scott choosing Taylor hurt more than your ego, but these feelings are deeper, coming from a place of Scott words.
“You’re my best friend. You are the strongest woman I know. You make me laugh, smile, get excited to come here, and one day I’ll be going home to our family. I love seeing you be a mother, and how fiercely you love your kids,” your waterline fills with tears. No one has ever told you they love how you are a mother. It was just something that was expected of you. But hearing it from him is nearly painful. A pain that reverberates through your body because you believe him, and his words are strong. It’s a love that is so powerful it stings and overwhelms.
“You’re a damn good cook. And I love watching you in this element. I love watching you move on top of me in the mornings. Your whispered moans as you use me. I love watching you sleep. You don’t have to be doing anything, and still I love it.”
“That sounds so creepy,” you manage to huff out a laugh, and wipe away stray tears.
“You’re the most beautiful woman in the world, but your beauty is more than your looks,” his words turn into moans as he kisses your body. Slowly taking your nightgown off you, and your hands immediately cover your stomach in shame. Everything in here with all the lights and the mirror is intimidating.
Andy sinks to his knees as he descends further down. Leaning around your body as he kisses on your arms, using his hands to pull your arms off your body, and he ghosts his lips over your belly. Saying your name like a sweet prayer with every tender touch of his lips.
“I will spend everyday worshiping you, and reminding you how perfect you are for me as long as you do the same. I will lift you up from the depths of whatever pit that Scott left you in because I need you. I love you. And I will give us a baby,” waterfalls of tears pour down your cheeks and still his lips linger. Going lower, and lower before kissing your covered core.
“I’m not giving up on you, on us, on expanding our family because Audrey and Suede are part of my family. I get all of you. Every bit of it, and I’ve always wanted it. I’ll take you in any shape or form because it’s you I want. I want to grow old with you. I want to sit on our porch in rockers, and watch our grandchildren play. You are what I’ve always wanted,” you whimper as he licks a strip up the gusset of your panties. Hooking his fingers in the elastic before pulling them slowly down your body.
He smiles at your exposed core. Desperately moaning at the sight of you even though you don’t have a thigh gap or you’re thicker than when you first were together. Despite your older age, he still stares at you like you’re a work of art. His look has never changed. His tongue roams through your split, and you spread your legs further apart. Stepping back to give him more room, and he moves to your front, sitting on the floor, while he desperately eats your cunt.
Pulling you nearly over him, and his hands roam over your naked body. His hands working you over. Loving you wordlessly. Using his hands to show he wanted your body in this form, and any form you gave him. Scott tried so many times to ruin you. Mentioned how it wouldn’t be long before Andy wanders, too because you wanted too much. And there would never be a man that holds up to your standards. Except, here he is, sitting on the floor, feasting on you like a five star dinner.
“Watch yourself,” he pants, staring up at you, and you glance down confused. “I want you to see just how amazing you look when I make you come. When I taste you, and make you moan, watch,” his face buries back into your warmth, but he keeps his eyes on you. He kneads and tweaks your nipples, and you grind over his mouth. Trying to watch yourself despite the embarrassment until the pleasure becomes too much. Watching while you enjoy the way he makes you feel.
“Andy,” he pinches your nipples harder. Rolling them in his fingers, while you let out the most beautiful mewl. Too loud, so he stops. “Andrew Barber!”
Andy maneuvers himself out of the floor, and gets right in your face as his thick hand rubs off the slick on his beard. His hands grab the hemline of his shirt, and he pulls it off his body, and then pulls down his boxers. “You’re too loud, and will wake up the kids.”
“But it feels too good,” whining because why is he a god in a man’s body? Why is sex on legs? Able to make your pussy throb, and cry for him.
“Pouting is going to get you nowhere,” he steps behind you, pressing a hand in between your shoulder blades, and adds pressure. Leaning you forward before gathering your slick on the crown of his cock. “But I will fuck you, while I cover your mouth. I’m going to make you stare at yourself, while I pump you full of cum, and breed you like a bitch in heat,” your mouth falls open, and you start to say something but he lays a hand on your mouth, and in one thrust, his cock stretches you wide open.
Yipping when he slides all the way home, “You talk too much. Just enjoy the ride,” that hand on your mouth never moves, but he grips your hip tight as he crashes into you over and over again. “See how your eyes get all glossy and wide because I’m fucking you? How your body moves every time that I fill this cunt like no one else ever has. That’s because you were made for me. You are mine. All mine, and I will fuck you until you swell with me. Our other babies are going to fawn over you. They’re going to be so excited to see their mama happy and full.”
You preen. Your back bows, but you’re watching him. He’s so sexy when he’s slightly angry. When his only determination is giving you what you want, his baby. It’s all so much. Overwhelming. You feel everything, see everything, “Keep your eyes on you,” you try, but he’s too beautiful. “Doe! On you!”
He spears into with so much force that you see stars, and watch yourself. He’s so rough, and yet, your body takes him. Takes every thick, hard inch of him. You were meant for him. You were meant solely for him. To give him a family that he’s always wanted. The new tears in your eyes are something else entirely, they’re the realization that you were for Andy. Good enough for him. Enough for him! The perfect man you could ever imagine, you were enough. And it is addictive. You’ve always been addicted to him. Always longed for him.
You tug at his arm, and his hand moves to your neck. “I’m good enough,” you plead, trying to keep your voice quiet. “I’m good enough for you.”
“You’ve always been good enough,” this isn’t love making. This is fucking, and fucking hard. It’s claiming you. It’s possessive. It’s demanding. It’s what you need. “You’ve always been mine. And you will always be mine,” he grunts, and crashes his mouth into yours. Aggressive, and nearly cruel, and you love it. You love when this side of Andy comes out. When you are the only one that sees that darker side that lurks just below the surface. He saves himself losing his cool on you.
Something pissed him off today, and your pussy suffers in pleasure. Your body tightens. Keeling as you start to lose the ability to stand, letting his hands hold you up. He gives each nipple a hard squeeze, and you scream into his mouth. Swallowing every aggravated grunt. Losing the function to be human as pleasure soaks over you like a warm blanket.
Andy’s hands slap on your belly and in one hard, pounding, deep thrust he shoots his load into your belly, and you feel it expand to take every drop. Your walls flutter, milking every bit, while he pants into your mouth. Pulling off your lips, he rests his forehead on your shoulder. “I promise you, Doe, I will fuck a baby in you. And I will never stop trying. It will happen. And you can look that doctor in the eyes, and tell him that he was wrong. You’re mine, and I will see you pregnant. I will have every experience with you.”
“I believe you,” panting, he pulls his softening cock out of you, but a hand covers your mound. “What are you doing?”
“Keeping it in there, while I walk you to the bed. And then I’m going to watch myself, leak out of your hole, and I’m fingering it back in there. This is the one. You’ll see. This is it. This is our baby.”
“I hope so, but if it’s not, can you fuck me like that again?” Waddling back into the bedroom he pushes you onto the bed, and then he’s back in between your legs, covering your hole again. “Do you need a front row seat?”
“Yes,” you giggle, and Andy smiles, kissing a line from one side of your pelvis to the other. “It’s so sexy to know I’m in there. And I’m controlling it. And it’s sexy to see you push it out. It’s sexy to watch you swallow it after it’s been in you. It’s sexy to see me drying on your skin.”
You run your fingers through his hair, smiling down at him, “Andy, I want to see you watch me leak of you,” that mouth quirks up, and he moves his hand. Staring at you like this was a blockbuster movie, and you push it out. His breathing hitches as thick rivers of him spill out of you.
Instead of immediately pushing it back in, Andy gathers some on his finger. He lifts his hand, and starts writing across your pussy. My god, he looks like a teenage boy, smiling mischievously. His finger moving over you sweetly despite being covered in cum, “What are you spelling?”
“You can’t tell?”
“I felt an ‘A’.”
“Andy’s,” he chuckles again, before looking at your gaping hole. “This is the best thing. Your pussy is a mess,” and he slides the rest back in. Pumping his fingers into your wet heat a few times. “You slut. Are you getting off on this?”
“Mhmm. Make me come on your cum, daddy.”
“Such a slut,” he didn’t want this to last. He wants you to come, so he can make you clean him off. He pulls out all the stops. Curling his fingers, adding a third one, and you’re already lifting off the bed. Already leaking. So wet. Squelches echo into the bedroom, and it’s the best lullaby. “My personal slut.”
Your orgasm comes way too fast as the calluses of his fingers massage that special spot. Waves upon waves of pleasure crash into you, and just before you moan too loudly, you cover your mouth, letting your body reach that perfect height when everything falls down. Clenching your eyes closed, and when you open them, Andy is hovering over you with messy fingers.
“Open up,” you obey, and he holds out his fingers for you to suck every bit of your essences off him. Moaning just as much as he is. “That’s the one, Doe. I just fucked a baby in you. I just know it.”
“Doesn’t matter,” he cocks up an eyebrow, and your eyes get so heavy, “Because this,” you lay both hands on your belly. So sleepy. “This is Andy’s.”
“Damn right it is. Go to sleep, little deer. I’ll clean everything up, and unlock the door, okay?” You smile, and nod. Letting beautiful dreams of unknown children, and your two oldest run around in a big backyard. What a dream. What a beautiful dream.

What Is Land Clearing?
Land Clearing is an essential process that removes unwanted vegetation, tree stumps, brush and weeds from property. It can be used to prepare an area for construction, agriculture and other purposes and can also help with reducing pest populations. It can be done using several different methods, including manual clearing, mowing, chainsaws, or chemical treatments. Some techniques, such as open burning and controlled burns, can be considered Eco-friendly. However, others, such as mulching and manual clearing, can have negative impacts on the environment if not conducted correctly. In addition to helping promote healthy plant growth, clearing can help reduce the risk of fires by reducing the amount of dry twigs and leaves. This is especially important when it comes to preparing property for development, as fires can be extremely dangerous and destructive to the surrounding landscape. It can also reduce air pollution and allergy symptoms by removing pollen-producing plants, such as grasses and weeds. Clearing allows for the proper use of an overgrown property and can transform a once unusable piece of land into a beautiful yard, garden or building site. It can also help with preventing soil erosion and other environmental problems that may arise as a result of a dense plant population. One of the most common reasons to clear a plot of land is for agricultural purposes, such as planting crops or raising livestock. The process can be very time-consuming, and it is essential to ensure that the land is ready for cultivation before beginning. It can also be expensive, especially if large amounts of debris are removed by mechanical means. There are a few advantages to land clearing, such as the removal of diseased or insect-infested plants that can spread their illnesses to other plants in the vicinity. It can also prevent the growth of mosquitoes and gnats, as well as swarms of termites that can be dangerous to people, animals, and property. Aside from these environmental benefits, land clearing can also improve soil conditions by removing nutrient-draining weeds and brush. The topsoil of the cleared area will be richer and will be able to support more lush vegetation. Mulch can be applied to the soil after land clearing to add extra nutrients and to prevent weeds and soil erosion. The average cost of land clearing per acre is $500 to $5,600. This price range accounts for the type of vegetation that needs to be removed, the size of the lot and the intended use of the property. The best way to determine the exact cost for your land clearing project is to contact a local contractor and discuss your specific needs. Then, they can provide you with a detailed quote. The contractor can also advise you on any local regulations or permits that might be necessary to secure before beginning the project. This will allow the contractor to take all necessary precautions and protect the environment, wildlife, and flora of your property while conducting an effective land clearing project. via https://litchfieldtreeservices1.wordpress.com/2024/08/07/what-is-land-clearing/

Common Myths and Misconceptions About Air Coolers
Tumblr media
Air coolers are a popular and efficient cooling solution for homes and offices, especially in regions with hot and dry climates. However, there are numerous myths and misconceptions about air coolers that can lead to misunderstandings about their functionality and benefits. At Ram Coolers, we aim to provide clear and accurate information to help you make informed decisions about your cooling needs. In this blog, we will debunk some of the most common air cooler myths and provide you with the truth about air coolers.
Myth 1: Air Coolers Are Ineffective in Humid Climates
One of the most pervasive myths about air coolers is that they are ineffective in humid climates. While it’s true that air coolers work best in dry conditions, modern air coolers are designed to provide cooling even in humid environments. Advanced air coolers come with features like humidity control, which allows them to function effectively by reducing the moisture level in the air. Additionally, placing the air cooler near open windows or doors can help improve air circulation and enhance cooling efficiency.
Myth 2: Air Coolers Are Just Like Fans
Another common misconception is that air coolers are no different from regular fans. In reality, air coolers operate on a different principle known as evaporative cooling. Unlike fans that merely circulate air, air coolers use water evaporation to reduce air temperature. As air passes through water-soaked cooling pads, it loses heat and becomes cooler before being circulated into the room. This process makes air coolers significantly more effective at lowering temperatures than fans.
Myth 3: Air Coolers Consume a Lot of Electricity
Many people believe that air coolers consume a large amount of electricity, similar to air conditioners. However, this is not true. Air coolers are designed to be energy-efficient and consume far less electricity than traditional air conditioning units. This makes them a cost-effective cooling solution, particularly for long-term use. The lower power consumption of air coolers also means they have a smaller environmental footprint compared to air conditioners.
Myth 4: Air Coolers Are Not Suitable for Large Spaces
Some users think that air coolers are only effective for small rooms or spaces. While it’s true that the cooling capacity of an air cooler depends on its size and design, there are many models available that are suitable for larger areas. Industrial air coolers, for instance, are specifically designed to cool expansive spaces such as warehouses, factories, and large living areas. By choosing the right size and model, you can effectively cool larger spaces with an air cooler.
Myth 5: Air Coolers Cause Health Problems
There is a misconception that air coolers can cause health issues such as respiratory problems or allergies. In fact, air coolers can improve indoor air quality by filtering dust and pollen through their cooling pads. They also add moisture to the air, which can be beneficial in dry climates where air conditioning can lead to dry skin and respiratory discomfort. Regular maintenance, including cleaning the cooling pads and water reservoir, ensures that air coolers provide clean and healthy air.
Myth 6: Air Coolers Require Constant Water Refilling
A common myth is that air coolers need to be constantly refilled with water, making them inconvenient to use. While air coolers do require water to function, most modern units come with large water tanks that can last for several hours or even a full day without needing a refill. Additionally, some air coolers are equipped with water level indicators and automatic shut-off features that make them more user-friendly and convenient to operate.
Myth 7: Air Coolers Are Noisy
Many people assume that air coolers are noisy and disruptive. While older models might have been louder, advancements in technology have led to the development of quieter air coolers. Today’s air coolers are designed with noise-reduction features and operate at sound levels that are comparable to, or even quieter than, many fans and air conditioners. This makes them suitable for use in bedrooms, offices, and other quiet environments.
Myth 8: Air Coolers Are Only Useful in Summer
It’s a common belief that air coolers are only useful during the hot summer months. However, air coolers can be beneficial throughout the year. During the monsoon season, they help in maintaining a comfortable indoor environment by reducing humidity levels. In fall and winter, when indoor heating can make the air dry, air coolers can add necessary moisture to the air, improving comfort and health. Additionally, using air coolers during mild weather can reduce the need for more energy-intensive heating and cooling solutions.
Myth 9: Air Coolers Are Difficult to Maintain
Some users believe that air coolers are difficult to maintain. In reality, air coolers are relatively easy to care for. Regular maintenance involves cleaning the cooling pads, water tank, and fan blades to ensure optimal performance. Many modern air coolers come with features such as removable cooling pads and easy-access water tanks that make cleaning and maintenance straightforward. By following the manufacturer’s guidelines, you can keep your air cooler in excellent working condition with minimal effort.
Myth 10: Air Coolers Are Not Durable
There is a misconception that air coolers are not durable and need frequent replacement. However, high-quality air coolers, such as those from Ram Coolers, are built to last. They are constructed with robust materials and designed to withstand regular use. Proper maintenance and care can extend the lifespan of an air cooler, making it a reliable and long-term cooling solution.
Choosing the Best Air Cooler: A Buying Guide
When choosing an air cooler, it’s essential to consider your specific cooling needs and preferences. Here are some factors to keep in mind:
Size and Capacity: Select an air cooler that matches the size of the space you need to cool. For larger areas, consider industrial or heavy-duty models.
Water Tank Capacity: A larger water tank will reduce the frequency of refills, making the cooler more convenient to use.
Cooling Pads: Look for air coolers with high-quality cooling pads that offer efficient evaporation and cooling.
Additional Features: Modern air coolers come with various features such as remote control, timer, water level indicator, and humidity control. Choose a model that offers the features you need.
Energy Efficiency: Check the energy efficiency rating to ensure the cooler is cost-effective to operate.
Off-Season Air Cooler Deals and Storage Tips
Taking advantage of off-season deals can help you save money on your air cooler purchase. Additionally, proper storage during the off-season is crucial for maintaining your cooler’s performance. Here are some storage tips:
Clean Thoroughly: Before storing, clean the cooling pads, water tank, and fan blades to prevent mold and mildew growth.
Dry Completely: Ensure all parts are completely dry to avoid rust and damage.
Cover and Store in a Dry Place: Use a cover to protect your air cooler from dust and store it in a dry, cool place.

Medical cannabis, often in the form of cannabidiol (CBD) oil, is one of the most recent trends in the human health and wellness world. Unsurprisingly, this trend has made its way to our pets, with a recent study suggesting that 38% of surveyed Danish dog owners routinely gave their pets some form of cannabis product.
Because many people actively promote the use of CBD to support their own health and wellbeing, the use of CBD oil for pets is attracting increased attention from vets and pet owners alike.
Previous studies suggest that 80% of dog owners in the US and Canada had bought cannabis products for their pet. While availability and regulatory differences might account for this variance, it is clear that cannabinoids are regularly being given to pets globally.
It is important to note that CBD doesn’t contain the psychoactive substance THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) that is responsible for some of the serious effects seen in pets after accidental ingestion of cannabis and derivatives, so its use won’t make your pet high or give them the munchies.
But, is CBD safe for our pets and could it be a useful addition to our pet’s healthcare regime?
Can CBD help our pets?
The use of CBD oil by people to support conditions such as chronic pain, migraines, anxiety and epilespy has led many people to consider its use for their pets, who often suffer from similar conditions.
While anecdotal reports of the benefits of CBD use are typically positive, many studies have failed to find an effect. This means that its value as a potential therapeutic aid remains poorly understood.
However, in line with increased interest in CBD to support human health, research is exploring potential benefits for pets, too, with some interesting outcomes.
Pet benefits
CBD oil has been shown to significantly reduce the signs of stress in dogs during travel and separation – two areas of concern for many pet owners.
For dogs suffering from osteoarthritis, CBD oil resulted in increased activity and decreased pain scores, as assessed by a vet. Indeed, 36% of respondents in the Danish study indicated that they used cannabinoids for pain management in their pets. This group also reported high perceived efficacy of CBD in managing their dog’s pain.
For dogs with skin irritation as the result of allergy, CBD reduced itching but not skin damage or lesions. In the Danish study, 11% of respondents reported using CBD to help their dog with allergies, and the perceived outcome was good.
While CBD is typically given as drops or oil added to food, hemp-based treats can also be used. Giving CBD-infused treats to pets suffering from noise anxiety, however, failed to show a positive outcome.
CBD challenges
In many countries, treating pets with CBD is not authorised or approved. In the UK, only a vet can prescribe a human CBD preparation for a pet.
Cannabidiol is considered a complementary medicine and vets advise that it should not be used in place of proven treatments. CBD could also interact with prescribed drugs in ways that aren’t currently known.
Toxicity reports are rare, and healthy dogs appear to tolerate long-term, daily doses of CBD. However, side-effects such as vomiting, diarrhoea, lethargy and difficulty moving have been recorded in dogs. Side-effects in cats include excess licking and salivation, pacing, vomiting and grimacing. We still don’t have good safety and efficacy data, and effective dose rates are unclear.
A significant challenge in being able to identify consistent outcomes in CBD use is the variability in quality, preparations and potency of the active ingredient. CBD can also be provided in edible treats, oils and supplements or as topical creams to be applied to the skin. These all have different uses, making outcome comparisons tricky.
There is also the potential for mislabelling and contamination of CBD products, and production and distribution regulation is poor. This can make it difficult for pet owners to make informed, safe and effective choices for their pets.
While the use of CBD for pets appears to be common, the potential downsides and concerns do need to be considered. How much CBD can be safely administered to our pets for effective use across a range of conditions remains largely unknown.
If you are thinking about using CBD for your pet, always speak to your vet in the first instance – they will be able to advise you on the safest and most legally appropriate way to do so.

Medicinal Garden Kit - Brand New!
Tumblr media
I've always considered myself someone with a relatively healthy lifestyle. I eat well, exercise regularly, and generally take good care of myself. However, there was one area where I felt I could be doing more: indoor air quality. Living in a city can take a toll on your respiratory system, and I often noticed myself feeling congested or having mild allergies, especially during certain times of the year. That's when I decided to invest in the Aizen Power Air Purifier, and I'm thrilled to say it's been a game-changer.
Fresh Air at the Touch of a Button
The first thing that impressed me about the Aizen Power Air Purifier was its sleek and modern design. It fits seamlessly into any room's decor without looking out of place. Setting it up was a breeze – it literally took just a few minutes to unpack, plug it in, and choose my desired fan speed. Breathing Easier, Feeling Better
Within a few days of using the Aizen Power Air Purifier, I started to notice a significant difference in the air quality of my home. My congestion subsided, and those bothersome allergy symptoms became a distant memory. I sleep better at night now, and I wake up feeling more refreshed and energized.
Powerful Performance, Quiet Operation
One of the things I was most concerned about when choosing an air purifier was noise level. After all, who wants an appliance that constantly hums in the background? Thankfully, the Aizen Power Air Purifier is remarkably quiet, even on its highest setting. I can comfortably have it running in the background while I work, watch TV, or even sleep without it being disruptive. Yet, despite its quiet operation, the Aizen Power Air Purifier is a powerful performer. It effectively covers a large living space, efficiently filtering out dust, allergens, and other airborne impurities.
Peace of Mind and Improved Wellbeing
Since using the Aizen Power Air Purifier, I've experienced a significant improvement in my overall well-being. Knowing that the air I'm breathing is clean and free of pollutants gives me a sense of peace of mind. I no longer worry about the negative impact of indoor air quality on my health, and I feel more energized throughout the day.

Skin
So my skin healed a lot this week. I did end up using steroids, and it helped with the skin healing process and my hands haven't looked this clear or non-inflamed for months. I can wash my hands without any discomfort.
Because steroids are anti-inflammatory and they healed my hands, it is obvious that my condition is caused by chronic inflammation.
I found a clinical dietitian online (Jennifer Fugo) who specializes in treating clients with skin conditions from more of a nutrition and functional approach because she had eczema herself. From a dietary perspective, I knew that consuming anti-inflammatory foods and supplements helps with eczema a lot. But there is more to that because, despite my diet being quite healthy and me taking vitamin D, zinc, and flaxseed oil daily, my skin flared a lot this winter. It got inflamed to the point where I had to take a day off work and go to urgent care and I could not move my hands because they were so dry, inflamed, and covered in blood. And I hate using my sick hours, and I hate using steroid creams but I had to because I was in an emergency.
Very painful period cramps are another condition caused by inflammation. My women's health doctor recommended birth control for that, and I said absolutely not. As a result she said omega 3 and vitamin D can help with cramps. And she was right, because I haven't had painful period cramps in months since I started supplementing, maybe since last August. I still do get cramping, but they are very tolerable and I even experience less menstrual bleeding. The only month where I experienced unpleasant cramping, though not as bad as before, was in November due to the stress of the war and having a traumatic experience in therapy a few days before. Note that I don't have any reproductive disorders, like endometriosis, that cause painful cramps. Something like that will definitely require medical intervention. Diets and supplements won't help treat more serious conditions. But despite this, I still struggle with an inflammatory skin condition.
Back to the dietitian, she understands that a lot of people are fed up with doctors telling them "you need to live with it", or "you have bad genes", or "there is no cure", or "the only solution is this very expensive pharmaceutical that comes with many side effects". I am very mad and annoyed with doctors in general, who recommended I rely on steroids and antihistamines. Those medications absolutely work in reducing inflammation, and antihistamines can save your life (I have a sesame allergy so I rely on them); but they are, at the end of the day, drugs that come with many side effects and must be used when absolutely necessary and not as an everyday preventative. Of course doctors have their hands tied because of pharmaceutical companies, so they cannot recommend more non-pharmaceutical solutions even if there are so many solutions out there. I significantly improved my health by supplementing to fix any nutritional gaps, getting a tongue-tie release, intermittent fasting, eating much better and avoiding junk, drinking enough water, making walking a regular habit, and fixing my sleep. This all paid off and I notice myself feeling better as I never get sick and my hair is thicker and have less cravings and less cramps, for example. Despite these improvements, I still struggle with eczema, which means that there is something in my body that I haven't addressed yet.
And I'm a scientist. While I'm sick and tired of doctors who push drugs and neglect foundational aspects to health and wellness, I want alternate and more functional treatments that are science based. I've seen a lot of wacky pseudoscience stuff on Instagram, such as this one account claiming she cured all her illnesses with celery juice. You have ideas on par with curing your stage 4 cancer by oil pulling and essential oils (I love essential oils for their relaxing scents, NOT their health properties). I know it's all bs, and at the same time I'm tired of doctors. So I'm trying to find a balance between both extremes where I apply foundational health and lifestyle changes such as the ones I mentioned above, but also treating it topically with a good quality hand cream and using steroids and antihistamines only when needed. In fact I'm going to get a tacrolimus refill so I don't have to even use steroids, which will be even better.
She talks about how there are 16 root causes to skin rashes, including gut AND skin microbiome imbalances (people with eczema have staph in their skin microbiome and healthy skin should not have that), issues with liver detoxification. gut dysfunction, stress, trauma, genetics (mutation in the filaggrin-coding gene which plays a role in maintaining the skin barrier integrity + inflammation will disregulate this gene), environmental allergies, and environmental irritants like chemicals and heavy metals. Though she puts a heavy emphasis on gut microbiome/dysfunction and liver detoxification.
On the topic of liver detoxification, people often are so misled by "detoxing". Your body already naturally detoxes via the liver, gut, kidneys, lung, and skin. However if one of these organs and biochemical detoxing pathways are impaired, then the detoxing process won't be efficiently completed, hence causing inflammation. If your liver and gut, for example, cannot effectively function in their detoxing process, the stress will go to the skin and eczema can occur. She says the best way to support liver health is not to do detoxes like juices, cleanses, enemas, or colonics, because it IS a detoxing organ, but to give it the nutrients it needs. There are 3 phases to liver detoxification, with the first phase determined by the presence of certain proteins/enzymes and the function will be impacted if the person had a disorder where there is a single nucleotide polymorphism in the gene coding the protein. So this isn't something a "detox" or "supplement" can fix. The second one, on the other hand, is heavily reliant on the nutrients you eat, like glycine, vitamin B6. sulfur, magnesium, molybdenum, and additional amino acids. I take magnesium citrate but can switch to the glycinate form, and I take a multivitamin which has B6 and molybdenum, and even switched to a new brand which has glycine since my current bottle is almost empty. Also you can support your liver by limiting your alcohol intake (or completely avoid alcohol like I do) and don't eat a lot of foods high in sugar and fat. So I was happy to see and understand liver function from a more scientific perspective, and "detoxing" in general because there is a lot of unsubstantiated nonsense on the internet. Detoxing is a thing, which several of your organs naturally perform. However if that organ is not working well, then you won't efficiently remove toxins from your body, which can lead to inflammation that can potentially manifest as skin eczema.
With gut dysfunction, she pretty much lays out the steps of digestion. You chew food (and your saliva naturally contains amylases which are enzymes that break apart carbohydrates into sugars) and chewing slowly is important because it makes digestion and absorption a lot easier, then the food travels via the esophagus to the stomach. The stomach has a lot of acid, and in some cases a person may not have enough. Stomach acid not only breaks down the food you eat, but also kills foreign pathogens you may have swallowed. So not having enough acid may cause bad bugs to travel down to your intestines and form colonies there, hence leading to systemic issues like skin conditions. The pancreas also produces digestive enzymes which are crucial in breaking down proteins, fats, and carbs. Also the liver produces bile which helps with fat absorption. So any impairments in these organs, even the gallbladder which stores bile, can negatively influence digestion and absorption. Then the food passes the small intestine and nutrients are absorbed. However, any issues such as intestinal permeability and rapid movement of the absorbed food in the case of diarrhea, can prevent proper absorption. Then it passes through the colon where water is absorbed, and then waste is excreted. She says you are what you absorb and not what you eat. So ensuring that all your GI organs are functioning properly, as well as fixing any issues, can help. I'm not quite sure how to approach this or if I even have any gut dysfunction because I've never been tested.
Finally there are microbiome imbalances on the skin and in the gut. Staph can infect the skin and cause inflammation, to the point where it can cause filaggrin mutations and cause the barrier of your skin to fall apart. So it's worth doing a skin culture with a dermatologist. I'm going to see my old dermatologist on Wednesday to ask for one and will insist until she agrees (in the case where she doesn't). Also gut microbiome imbalances can cause skin inflammation. I know a lot of people rave about gut health, but it definitely does play a role in skin health. As previously mentioned, not having enough stomach acid can introduce foreign bad bugs which can form colonies and cause inflammation. Some examples of harmful microorganisms include H. pylori, candida (everyone has candida but too much can be an issue), histamine-producing microorganisms like Klebsiella, and fungal organisms. So the best approach here would be to a comprehensive microorganism test. I'm going to meet with a functional doctor on Thursday via phone call, who states that eczema is caused by microbiome imbalances in the digestive tract and uses the GI MAP testing kit. It is expensive, especially on top of the phone call, but it will be worth it because I am convinced my eczema is gut related. I've addressed a lot of areas of my health before, but I never sufficiently addressed my gut health. So I will now and I will find solutions just like I did for my dental health last year. She said you can have imbalances despite having no gut symptoms at all.
So I'm going to take the new multivitamin, continue taking D3/K2, flaxseed oil, and magnesium glycinate. But I should also include a gut health supplement that can support both my microbiome and function. I'll eventually address my skin microbiome issue if I test positive for staph. I'm taking the Codeage Leaky Gut Formula which has l-glutamine, quercetin, additional bioflavinoids (which do support liver health and phase 2 detoxing), HCl and S. boulardii. It can definitely be a great place to start, though in the future I hope to find a more targeted supplement. Though correcting any GI imbalances can take a very long time, around several months.
Eventually I do want to work on my stress and trauma work, and I believe the war in Gaza made my skin flareups worse (not that my condition compares at all to what the people of Gaza are experiencing nor are they responsible at all for it, it is just an obvious stress response to what's happening to them). I'm seeing a new therapist now and she's been great and interactive. I know I will heal and I've already healed a lot. I made a list of things I still want to work on, but I will experience healing because it's happened before and it will happen again. Also because I believe that my eczema may be allergy related, due to my food allergies and eosinophilia, I'll speak to a doctor about getting my histamine and IgE levels tested. Any conventional PCP will provide this, I don't have to pay hundreds to see a functional medicine doctor.
So these are some of the things I've learned. It is a lot and I've watched hours of her podcast and masterclasses. I'm going to take my current supplements, then do a skin culture and GI MAP test so I can see if I have any imbalances (I likely do). I also want to address any gut function issues like not enough HCl or enzymes or intestinal permeability which can poorly influence digestion and absorption (I don't know how those are tested though). Eventually I'll work on my stress and trauma because this is longterm healing, as well as asking for an allergy panel for my bloodwork..
