I love that in the initial teaser for IWTV Season 2, this shot of Armand almost makes it seem like his shirt is fully buttoned to the neck, unless you're looking close enough to see the button holes

And then at some point during shooting, someone presumably was like "Assad, hitch your arm over the back of the chair, we need it to be abundantly clear that Armand is trying to show off some sternum here"

guys for season two of iwtv we got a Lestat sweep. literally 0 episodes with no Lestat content. if rolin for some reason decided not to do the same for Louis sam and jacob would simply hold hands and refuse to be parted they've got this.

thinking about how lestat started following/falling in love with louis after seeing him pull out a knife on on his brother in the first ep, placing the knife against paul's neck. then louis pulls out a knife again but on lestat in the last ep of s1, and uses the knife to cut lestat's neck.

the reason lestat fell for louis is how lestat gets killed by him (although not really killed, just very injured)

#i can't tell if all the many (like MANYY) parallels throughout iwtv are conveying the idea of eternity #(like things happening again in slightly diff ways because these characters live so long that its bound to happen)#or more about ideas of inevitable fate (like claudia about to burn to death as a human. escapes that. so burns to death as a vamp)#or is it more relating to what louis said (all vampires are created out of trauma) so its a great cycle of trauma they're all trapped in #<- meaning they do to others what was done to them which gives it all these parallels #or maybe just a big combo of those three things #iwtv #interview with the vampire #amc iwtv #louis de pointe du lac #lestat de lioncourt #loustat

Yoake No Vampire (Translation: Vampires of Dawn) from Chara Comics (Manga Adaptation) (1994)

well i did it….i finished every book in the vampire chronicles….was it a mistake? possibly! did i lose hours of my life! most definitely. could i have stopped at any time? yes of course.

#in case anyone is wondering how it's going in the life of arwen: my best friend group is six people #me flatmate (who is my best friend) and two couples (third and fourth flatmates and their partners)#flatmate and i have kind of been fighting off and on for a few weeks. nothing major but our relationship is definitely changing #and i think it's scaring us both a little (or at least it's scaring me) so we're more prickly with each other than normal #but i guess fighting is an unfair way to put it. we're not really fighting. but i really really really miss not doing it #cut to monday night fourth flatmate and her girlfriend split after 3.5 years after girlfriend very clearly fucked up #but in a way where she could've still saved the relationship yet decided it wasn't worth the effort #fourth flatmate is understandably a WRECK #so the rest of us are all trying to be as supportive as we possibly can but it's just. really blindsiding #because it means that not only did girlfriend decide her relationship with fourth flatmate wasn't worth salvaging #WHICH MIND YOU IS BAD ENOUGH #but also that her relationships with the other FOUR of us weren't worth salvaging. third flatmate was her best friend for THREE YEARS #she would come over and make popcorn and watch doctor who with flatmate and me like once a week. that's over #she'd go to the bar with third flatmate's boyfriend because the rest of us don't really drink. also over #and flatmate third flatmate and i feel kind of guilty expressing the fact that we're also grieving one of our best friends #because obviously what fourth flatmate is going through is much worse #i also have an interview in two days on the other side of the country that has the potential to completely change my life #and i don't think i've ever wanted anything this much and it's suffocating. and it will mean leaving flatmate. and i love him #but i need to get into this program i need to i need to #also i'm on my period. yee fuckin haw #anyway how are the rest of us doing #arwen.text

#1) i showered and maybe life isn't that horrible #2) I GOT TWO INVITATIONS FOR JOB INTERVIEWS IN FEBRUARY YAYYYY #both apprenticeships and both pretty much surprisingly and applications i almost forgot about lol #both are the same office job in general it's just different institutions and specific stuff #the first interview is the chamber of commerce and industry and the second interview is the language center of a prestigious university #the first is in my town and i already know a few people there from an office management course i took there last year #the second is almost two hours away from me and i'll need an apartment #we'll see which one is better (technically i already got the yes from the library but still don't have the contract so i'll take those)#whichever one of them wants me and has good vibes gets my yes even if i'll sign three contracts and later annul it idk #mel talks

like dovquez is vibing. it ALSOOO serves as VERY easy shorthand to see who actually likes each other. like genuinely and for real who do you talk to at the lunch table. for what twink do you ignore your literal job for. you literally could not payyyyyy rosquez not to yap at each other for three entire years. like every weekend you have SEEN the photos. i mean. compared to cota the year before. its like when two of the people you are forced to hang out with semi regularly USED to annoy you because they wont ever SHUT UP. but then they break up and its sucks in a different way. AND they made their breakup about YOUUU.

anyways i also miss when they would stand up for the photo at the end and i could mentally arrange them via height like little matryoshka dolls. what im saying is they should be gathering all twenty of them in a room and having them sit in each other's laps.
