Having watched every version of the Doc Pig Murder Trial, I'm fascinated by BDubs' version. Every other cut was a Minecraft video, this is Minecraft as a medium. It's a TV show.

On top of all the production elements, there's the fact that BDubs is the only one who considers the ruling even. Everyone else presents it as a victory for Cleo, but BDubs' editing around it to craft a different story is an entirely different story.

BDubs also manages to make himself the main character by reshooting a lot of his jokes. He has a different sense of humor than everyone else involved, and it shows in what he leaves in and what he changes. A lot of the stuff I liked didn't make the cut, but it was a different project.

BDubs also reshot his ad, which is funny in an entirely different direction this time. I think I like this better on its own, but the original in-context. There's also the intro to Beef that he ran music under, and that line made so much more sense with sound, and I think it's cool that BDubs was recording with backing music in mind that no one else saw coming.

BDubs is a brilliant producer to the point where it's a problem. It's impossible to casually watch a BDubs video because you have to respect the craft.

Going straight from the Payneland tag to the Crticketcrow tag feels like I'm getting whiplash because the Cricketcrow community is almost nonexistent within this fandom 😭😭🙏 I still ship Payneland all the way, but Cricketcrow is pretty great too, and I'm losing my mind at the fact that most of the DBDA fandom either does not agree with or hasn't considered this take

How do you draw shirt collars? polo collars popped collars, uniform collars, jacket collars, etc

so i kind of have this issue too sometimes bc it mainly depends on the angle, how far its buttoned up and like how far open it is

this is like the basic idea of what I do since its like longer in the front like... a karen cut?

collars are a little shorter in the back and longer in the front, the main thing i would focus on is showing the triangular shape of the corners so that its not like the same width throughout and it kind of rests on the chest a little bit

the tiny triangles on the inside are where the top buttons would be so depending on the person wearing them it may or may not be buttoned, one might even say that they are optional

using reference pictures is a HUGE help btw, especially when the angles are confusing or the shirt is more open than what it usually should be

Something that kills me about q!Charlie is that he really wasn’t a good parent. At first.

It’s canon that he doesn’t come from a great household, and it’s obvious that he was trying.

He didn’t know how to parent, and the early days of Juanaflippa and Charlie were ROUGH to say the least!

And then he was getting better, there was a turning point in his parenting, for the better!

And then she died.

I wonder if part of the reason why Charlie has had such a visceral reaction to Flippa’s death (between trying to kill the other eggs, eggzile, just his general awful mental health and coping mechanisms), was because she was deprived from the life she deserved, the life Charlie and Mariana, after everything happened, after Charlie realized he wasn’t a good parent and was doing his best to become better and was on the way to that, were going to give her.

She was taken away, after everything, and now she will never get the life, the nice happy life, that she would have been given, that she deserved.

Charlie was mad at himself, for failing as a father (even if it wasnt his fault), and for not giving Juanaflippa the life she rightfully deserved.

Sleepy Reading

Daedra don’t need to sleep. Many find the concept terrifying, and never do; it’s too close of a feeling to being mortally wounded and being dormant as your body reforms in Oblivion. Because of this, most Daedra have nightmares when trying to sleep. However, if one can push past the first few attempts, they might find sleeping to be very beneficial and even fun, in a relaxing sort of way.

Rakell is one of these Daedra. In fact, he encourages sleeping so much that he’s developed his own sleeping schedule, much like a mortal would. He can go three days without sleep comfortably, and rests for 10 hours at a time.

Velehk is not as much of a sleep connoisseur as his partner. He has been able to get past the nightmares and take a few cat naps in the past, but never developed any sort of schedule, and prefers to go without sleep. However, the closer Rakell and Velehk get, the more appealing snuggling up and snoozing for a while sounds. While working up to that process, Velehk instead finds himself reading while Rakell snores away, finding it to be a great time to catch up on his favorite series when a busy mind would have normally kept him away from the pages.

So, with a beloved book in hand, laying comfortably in bed, with a soft furnace of a man at his side, the night seems rather perfect for Velehk… if only this text didn’t leave off on a cliffhanger! How will Clarice discover who her sister is now??
