About AU Chaos Terran Wreck-gar
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Wreck-gar was the fourth Chaos Terran to be born. Unlike her siblings, she wasn't born in the chaos of different factions fighting over the embershards, but instead born peacefully in a garbage field.
The chaos energy outburst of her birth powered up all the appliances in the garbage field and they all started playing random programs. But the chaos energy effect was temporary and the appliances started dying out. The garbage field returned to silence with a TV leaving the last words "keep watching and catch the trailer -"
So Wreck-gar scanned a nearby garbage truck and decided to catch a trailer :) The plot of S02E08 would be her stealing Optimus' trailer, and the Maltos and the older Chaos Terrans all chasing after her. The event didn't leave a very good impression on the Maltos, causing them to think Wreck-gar was as bad as her older siblings.
She's actually awfully nice and friendly, though she isn't the best at understanding emotions and words. She's also not also good at telling right from wrong or good from bad. She's just - okay with anything (as long as it doesn't immediately hurt her siblings, in which case she would feel that through the link). While this means she would happily carry out orders that can hurt others, this also means she harbors no prejudice against people or things.
Aftermath adores this little sister. First, she's so strong and even taller than him. Second, she would never refuse to hang out with him and do stupid stuff together. Third, she's so creative at creating chaos. Oh and she's always happy to take out the garbage (though later they discovered she was actually hoarding the garbage).
Spitfire was more worried about her putting herself into danger. She would try to explain things to her but usually just lose her patience within 2 minutes.
Sideways was glad she diverted everyone's attention (including Starscrem's), which gave him more freedom to carry out his research.
Wreck-gar and Transmutate would have a much closer bond with each other than their other siblings. She didn't see anything wrong about Transmutate - nothing wrong that they look like this, nothing wrong that they can't transform, nothing wrong that they don't talk. Actually she's happy they don't talk but instead communicates through the psychic link, which is much clearer to understand for her than verbal communication. She also built Transmutate their first jetpack.
Tumblr media
Thoughts on her future
She would stay clueless and innocent for quite a while. That doesn't stop her from being cool - the Starscream vs Chaos Terrans fight would have a lot more back and forth now that this giant garbage truck is here. Despite the fight being a lot more equal the Chaos Terrans (except for Transmutate) would still die and be revived later. Her growth would mainly happen after the revival, as the Chaos Terrans now all have to figure out who they are and who they want to be.
I think it would be fun if she goes "Destroy Unicron! Kill the Grand Poobah! Eliminate even the toughest stains!" in front of Sideways...
Past works about her
She's good at tinkering with stuff.
She's an idiot sandwich.
She would have Cosmos as her mentor.
Here's her humanformer design.
And this is her transformation sequence.
My friend @sentinelprimeslowerhalf gave her a girlfriend. (Not sure if Gale would exist in the main AU but hey they are cute and I'm so proud of her.)

Adding more to my G1 TFA au! Since canonically Blitzy wasn’t a triple changer originally and in my au he started off as a tank, it doesn’t make sense for him to be called Blitzwing, so maybe I’ll call him Blitzkrieg?
Anyway, Astrotrain and Blitzy were massive bros during the war. Menaces! After the war ended there were still lingering skirmishes and I imagine it was in one of those that Blitzy got caught in some shit and basically got broken. Which lead to him being a good candidate for Blackarachnia’s experiments.
As for Astrotrain? 🤫 we shall see where my brain takes this…

\\My opinion about tfp ships\\
Tfp fandom is much bigger than tfa fandom. I can understand it, because It's old, bad animated and has boring story-line. I've already made 'My opinion about tfa ships' so I think It's time to make tfp version of this.
Before I would start let me make it clear. It's my opinion. If you think different, please don't attack me with hate comments. However, I think people who use tumblr are much calmer than most of the people on Tiktok but nevermind..
Optimus Prime x Megatron
Uhh ohh. This is the basic one, which almost everyone ships from the fandom. In my opinion, they could have been something like lovers to enemies.
[Headcanon]: Optimus might've been in love with Megatron when they were just Orion and Megatronus. But the power and fame parted them away and Megatronus started hating him for taking it from him. Maybe that's why Optimus was always compassionate with him because he was still in love with him. He tried to get Megatronus to became lovers/friends again. Until of course when Megatronus started to hurt his loved ones he stopped trying.
I mean I can belive that that's what happening behind the story line.
I absolutely adore them. I mean I can understand why people ship them. They have somekind of dinamic what I can't just ignore. There's something in the background we don't know about that's what I tell you guys.
Optimus Prime x Ratchet
Staying by Optimus there is another ship. The Optimus x Ratchet ship. Well, I'm not really keen on for this ship. I just can't see more into their friendship.
In my opinion, they are perfectly matching with each other's energy. They know each other for so long. Helping to the other is also a plus point.
People have every reason why this might be more than just a friendship. Maybe I just can't see through the show. Please let me know if there are facts I'm missing out. Nevermind. Next.
Arcee x Airachnid
Now to have some females in this blog let's write about this one. I'm really scared of this one.
Airachnid only shows interest for woman in this series (I think). The way she talks with Arcee and touches her few times is absolutely suspicious. She's the closest one to be lesbian.
On the other hand, Airachnid kidnapped her, tortured her, killed her closest friends and caused trauma in Arcee's life. When Airachnid appeared into the series Arcee had a hard time to fight her fears from her.
Arcee hates her with full of her heart, taking away her loved once. I don't think that Arcee after all would love Airachnid. She's confident and not forgiving.
Might Airachnid show love interest towards Arcee. In this situation is sick love or obsession. Also It's not hidden that Airachnid sadistic and only wants to get to her goals.
Totally not supported.
Wheeljack x Ratchet
Oh gosh. My favorite ones. I haven't seen as much ship content of them what I would expect about this ship.
Like the way that Wheeljack's flirty&playful behavier mets with Ratchet grumpy, serious attitude is killig. I mean you know about the grumpy x sunshine type of romantic books.
IT'S LITTERALY THIS.
It has to be a canon ship or else I will explode. I can't imagine Ratchet the old grumpy man with a WOMAN.
Okay, maybe I'm too dramatic but I love them so much. They should have had more screen time together, maybe another mission.
Let's go for the next.
Megatron x Starscream
What the fuck?! Absolutely not for me. Not under my watch. Nuh uh.
To get clear in this point. Megatron is toxic and abusive towards Starscream. Starscream is untrustable and backstabber towards Megatron.
I might miss something out about this. Maybe because language paralel I couldn't understand something. I need facts that would make this ship ship.
I'm more than glad if you would share me secret therories about all the ships or what do you think about some.
Soundwave x Shockwave
[Headcanon]: I think Soundwave is Aroace, Asexual or Aromantic. One of these. Definitely something what starts with an "A".
(It's alright if you think different about the topic.)
We haven't seen anything that would express his personality, interesests or plans. He's hiding his personality so we can't know about how he feels. He doesn't express them in any way. Yeah, we know he's smart and loyal, but what else?
They didn't have any bound during the show. Any action between them. It's like they are strangers or more like workmates for each other.
I don't think that anything is between them.
Knockout x Breakdown
In 2024 I can say this with confidence: they are a canon couple. There's nothing we have to talk about.
If you don't agree, then I can't help it🤷🏻‍♀️
~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•
That's all for this post. Uhh, I don't really know what to say. There's still a lot of ships I haven't mentioned.

hey moot after tfa i only consume tf media thru fandom, so in other words id never really heard of tarantulas till u mentioned them. can u explain who they are/your headcanons/ramble pls
i don't really know much about tarantulas other than fandom tbh lmaoo
he's a science guy that turns into one (1) spider. not multiple tarantulas. only one. what a scam. and yeah idk that much about canon events lmao i just have to guess from fic what actually happened vs what the author made up for story purposes
his whole thing from what i've seen is like. questionably ethical(?) science and methods, and being obsessed with working with prowl or something lol (at least. in idw1 which is what taraprowl came from afaik)
rambles on that recent post below cut because i love text cut:
my limited knowledge thoughts were just like. bill : ford = tarantulas : prowl to me if you really try and write this narrative about them but seeing as I know basically nothing about either of the pairings, I have no idea if I'm correct. my knowledge comes from tumblr posts under the search "idw tarantulas" and a fic on ao3 (the judge by silenceofthellamas) and maybe like. some other fic but idk specifically because i am a mess that loses my tabs
i think the "leave me alone" vs "i'll follow you and haunt your life until you address me" vibes can definitely be there if you try to see it that way (keep in mind: haven't read canon about them yet though), with tarantulas just being. a whole shadow to prowl's life like "we can be great together!! you can help me!! i'll be friends with you" and prowl is just. "stop. get out"
anyway i'm too lazy to write properly on phone so autocorrect save me and send post :>

6, 12, 14, and 21 for the Star Wars Violence Ask Game!
Thank you wifey! 💙💚 I'm gonna enjoy these
6. Opinion on canon and/or fanon use of the secret child trope? Discuss
I don't mind it. The secret child can be a good trope if the context is right for it. I mean Star Wars is centered on secret child trope pretty much. Where I'm not so into it is the Korkie headcanon that he is Obi Wan and Satine's son. It's a bit too crackhead for me and also it's not my ship so I'm biased against it.
12. Name a common fandom complaint that you're sick of hearing.
Anything about Rey tbh. I may not be a big sequels person but anytime the fandom tries reduce her to an overpowered female Luke and say she's unoriginal I roll my eyes.
Like they are nothing alike. Luke got to live comfortably taken care of by his aunt and uncle. He never had to scavage scraps just to be able to eat. And before anyone comes for me, I'm NOT ripping on Luke. He had what anyone should have.
What I'm saying is Rey didn't get to have guardians or a comfortable house or regularly even be able eat. She was abandoned and did what she had to to survive. As for the overpowered thing like she's able to fly ships or fight back, like come on. I repeat, she. was. a. scavanger. She got to know ship parts and as for fighting, she's had to fight dickheads like Teedo and probably worse to keep food, homes, etc. After rewatching TFA, i notice she learns from OBSERVATION. She mimics what others do around. This is a survival skill she had her whole life.
Of course Luke is going to take a little more time to learn things. He was never put in that situation where it was do or die (as any child shouldn't). Rey was and however fast she was at learning a skill is a result of basic survival instincts.
She and Luke ENTIRELY different characters and to say she's a female version of him cuz she's from a desert????? Reductive and a big lack in media literacy tbh.
14. What's the most egregious example of fridging in canon?
God which one? 😅 Fridging is probably one of Star Wars biggest crimes. Leia is the first that comes to mind because she died to redeem her piece of shit son that she did not deserve.
But then again, Anakin's turn to the dark side is also due to fridging with his mother and his wife. Especially with Padme since there's an old version where she actually gets to live a little bit longer with the Rebellion and tried to kill Anakin.
I may not be a big Satine person, but that's fridging too to give Obi Wan angst and more Maul animosity.
I'm still going to say Leia in the sequels though as the most egregious. Because it was so out of nowhere (yes I'm aware that Carrie's death was probably the reason but I don't care. There are better ways to kill off/write out a character than fridging). Her death served no purpose other than Kyle Ron no accountability. Like what in "Jesus died for our sins" is this bullshit? Why must Star Wars' most iconic woman have to go out for a man that did nothing but hurt and betray her? It's insulting tbh.
Edit: Luminara's death was fucking awful too. Like ain't no reason to have it be so horrific. Sigh... can Star Wars like not hate women for once.
21. Best canon example of a healthy relationship in Star Wars
Romantically that is a tough one. Honestly I'm coming up short with this one. Can't say Han and Leia cuz we only see their rocky start and end and nothing in between.
Maybe Kanan and Hera but their relationship kinda got ruined for me when suddenly at the end, he wasnt aware if Hera felt the same about him??? I just thought they were basically married and I'm supposed to be believe they haven't even had that conversation by THAT point in time??? Plus the ghost baby thing creeped me the fuck out. Can Star Wars please stop with the out of nowhere pregnancies please?
So yeah canon romances, nothing comes to mind. In fact Star Wars is kind of built on toxic romance.
The crackhead in me wants to say Owen and Beru 🤣
Ooo! Wait I found my answer! Cal and Merrin from the Jedi games! They are perfect 🥺 Idk what the next game will have in store for them but so far, the way they empower and comfort each other. They accept and love each other's differences. And just adorable all around. Sweet ginger boy with spicy witch lady 👌

Reincarnation AU because I feel like there's some more chaos we can spawn with this AU beyond G1 thinking baby Prowl is sickly and G1 Starscream being a happy boi that baby/TFA Starscream is beeg. (Also, for people who are entering with no context, mama is G1 version and baby is TFA version.)
G1 Skywarp having TFA/baby Skywarp, who is terrified all the time and mama Skywarp has no idea what to do to make the baby not scared. Keeping the baby away from sharp pointy things seem to do the trick, along with really soft stuff like fluffy blankets and plushies that look like bunnies and turtles. Mama Skywarp doesn't understand why baby Skywarp likes turtles (especially that one purple turtle plushie he found that one time), but he isn't complaining.
Jazz being smacked when he gets baby Jazz, who isn't as sickly looking as baby Prowl but still kinda thin, if a bit more curvy. Mama Jazz now being protective of his child, now understanding Prowl's worries with his baby, but Jazz is a bit more lenient compared to Prowl when it comes to snow and weird weather.
Bee getting even more guilt when baby Bumblebee gets out of him cuz the baby is very precious to him and starts to understand mama Prowl's fury when mama Bee accidentally lets baby Bee get sick from the snow. Mama Bumblebee definitely isn't as strict as mama Prowl, but pays better attention to baby Bee. Bee would rather not be on the bad side of Ratchet (or the Command Trine) again.
Soundwave looking at bitty Soundwave and is just like "uh..." because give him a baby cassette and he's good, but give him an actual bitty and he has zero idea on what to do. He tries to hand the baby off to Starscream, but baby Soundwave doesn't like being away from mama Soundwave and makes his complaints very loud when mama isn't near. Starscream says that his trine will help, but are not baby Soundwave's main care takers. Mama Soundwave agrees. Ravage, Laserbeak, and the other cassettes find this hilarious.
For some reason, no one expected Optimus to also be a mama, and baby Oppy looks at everyone and everything with such an innocent curiosity they actively have to make sure that baby Oppy doesn't puppy eyes his way into a room he isn't supposed to be in. That ends up happening a lot since mama Optimus is trying to keep his baby out of the war and his spark breaks whenever he sees his baby terrified of something he shouldn't fear but now does due to the continuing war. Mama Optimus remembers clearly when baby Optimus somehow found his way onto the battlefield because someone fell for puppy eyes and had to watch Megatron tear off Optimus's arm with a spray of Energon blood. The baby wouldn't eat Energon without crying for a week and starts crying whenever mama Optimus goes out to fight Megatron. He has to promise to the baby that he'll return, but he has a feeling that one day his baby will watch him go out into the battlefield and never see his carrier alive again.
Uh... that got sad really quickly.
Swindle looking at baby Swindle and is basically reacting with a mix between "what the fuck" and "look at how cute is he c'mon Brawl look at how adorable that little face is". The other Combaticons are confused as hell, but take it in stride because baby Swindle is hecking adorable. Baby Swindle likes taking naps on any of the Combaticons, but loves sleeping next to mama Swindle's spark. They don't really know how to take care of a baby, but somehow manage to get their servos on some sparkling caring guides, which Starscream considers an improvement next to the absolute nothing Soundwave had to start.
That's all the ideas I have right now. Maybe I'll be back later with more.
Publishing this ask cuz I have nothing to add except to say yes, all of this is canon

Asking you about your specific Poe brotps!! —CCFM
Rina....bless you so much for giving me a chance to infodump. So my brotps for Poe err on the side of gulp shittos: lots of background Resistance characters who have my whole entire heart, that I've built up entire dynamics with him off of - it's honestly maybe my favorite thing to write about, and comes up a lot in an rp 'verse me and my partner (@hermitmoss) wrote a few years ago. Some have some canon basis, others not so much lol. I just think that for majority of the Resistance, Poe is kind of this....surrogate big brother (Snap is also). If you're having a shit time, and Poe has time in his schedule, you bet your ass he's gonna give you a hug and let you talk things out. You need advice? Poe's probably got some to give, etc etc.
So first, there's Poe and Beaumont. Beaumont is the character we see in tros that hypothesizes ways that Palpatine could have survived. There's a really lovely comic where he goes to Kashyyyk with Chewie, which reveals that he's estranged from his parents who disapprove of his career choice (he is a scholar, with a focus on the Force). But! Relevantly, Beaumont is kind of a scruffy guy, so I decided that this guy in tfa
Tumblr media
could definitely be Beaumont. It's not, canonically, because Beaumont only joins after the Hosnian Cataclysm, but this is my canon and I do what I want lmao. Basically, I think Poe and Beaumont bond over their interest in the Jedi/Force. Poe believes in the Force, per Oscar Isaac, and I tend to think that errs on a sort of religious belief for him; and since Beaumont has a special interest in the Jedi, I like to think there's a lot of philosophical conversations between them and Poe occasionally helping Beaumont pour over research materials (you remember how one of the high republic books, i think, canonized smutty romance books about the Jedi? the funniest mental image I have of them both running into one of those and getting flustered/mildly scandalized about it lmao).
In my little canon, Beaumont is a pretty lonely guy and is still working out what "friendship" can be like while reeling from the estrangement from his family, and Poe's really there to support him through the whole thing. And of course, Beaumont loves his very hyperactive friend right back and gives him support when he can as well. Also I feel like it'd be fun if Beaumont specifically got brought into the Resistance because of his connection to Tekka, and because they needed some idea on other Force oriented sights that Tekka could have visited!
Then there's Poe, Tallie and Paige. Yes they go together, lmao. Technically, a lot of my headcanons actually focus more on Snap than Poe here: Tallie is noted to be in charge of Blue Squadron, which Snap is second in command of, so I like to think they often swap duties, especially when Snap is busy with Black Squadron things, and they're like. Very bickery siblings who always argue over the last cup of caf in the morning (it's tradition!).
But I think it's canon-ish leaning that Poe is friends with Paige (I believe Kelly Marie Tran mentioned in an interview that the background is that Paige was friends with Poe and kind of a wingman to him, so that's how Rose is familiar with Poe?), and I like to think the same thing with Tallie. I think Poe and Tallie are kind of those friends that rib each other plenty - yeah, sure Poe's her commanding officer, but he's just as much of a dork as Snap so she's gonna give him plenty of shit.
I haven't built up nearly enough with Poe and Paige specifically, but I do headcanon that Tallie and Paige are together <33 because I love tragedy, I guess, but also there's a lot of commonalities between them, and I like picturing Poe being supportive of them and being the first to get the gossip that they're together because he accidentally runs into them kissing lmao.
I truly could keep going all day, but I'm gonna try to keep this somewhat brief, and just. Bullet point the rest lmao:
I think Poe is a little bit eager to get Admiral Ackbar's approval. It's kind of a whole thing in ghost story, because Ackbar is sort of the closest thing to an authority figure in Leia's life still, and that matters to Poe. He respects the hell out of Gial, and the two eventually wind up bonding over their love for Leia, and sharing koya fruit. To my endless delight, a ROTJ anniversary comic special confirmed that Ackbar was friends with Shara and Kes, and they were some of his most trusted confidants - which really adds so much to how close Poe seems to be with Aftab, calling him "junior" all the time....truly family friends!!!!
Poe!!! And Kalonia!! I've actually written about them once before. I think Poe really, really hates medbays from trauma of losing his parent(s), and tries avoiding them when he can, so it's kind of a running joke that Kalonia scares him. But! He'll also stop by early in the mornings to anonymously drop off bouquets of wildflowers or snacks for Kalonia, so she has a little bit of extra appreciation. And of course there's this moment I wrote of them in an rp that still tickles me to this day:
Beaumont smacked his scanner again, "Yeah it's...on the fritz. I guess Poe's the only one who's really getting help -" "Bruised ribs?" Kalonia said loudly, or as loudly as her soft voice would allow her. Poe nearly wilted under her stern gaze. "How did you expect to treat that yourself?" Poe hesitated a moment, before answering slowly, "Wait for them to unbruise?" Kalonia pinched the bridge of her nose, "Please get Commander Dameron under a stabilizer. Once he's treated, he and Knight Surris will help us treat Lieutenant Donneta's lekku."
She puts up....with so damn much....
then we have Poe and Kaydel!! Obviously their friendship (and his with C'ai) get a lot of focus in tlj which is one of my favorite things about the movie, but I love to think that she winds up being Black Squadron's psuedo baby sister. I think she has a habit of getting tunnel vision when she's working, that she forgets to eat and things like that, so they implement something they call "the kaydel protocol" which just means Black Squadron takes turn checking in on her through the day to make sure she's ate and drank plenty of water.
I also like tossing around Poe and Taslin Brance! We barely see Taslin in the movie, but there's a deleted scene where he's the one to inform Leia Poe's X-Wing was destroyed in the village, and in the Flight Log, he's the unfortunate soul to deal with crabby Poe "do not LOOK at me do not TALK to me about the fucking finalizer okay I'm FINE look at me I flew to Takodana and Starkiller, could a traumatized person do THAT" Dameron by trying to get him to debrief. I think Taslin is something of an anxious, kind of clumsy guy, that is horrified and exasperated by the kinds of stunts Poe comes up with, and probably does a lot of the more "boring" high command work with Poe, like paperwork and lists and stuff.
And especially for you, Rina, I LOVE Poe and Threepio's dynamic! I know their dynamic is written fairly inconsistently from the comics to the films, but I find the accidental like, implied development of their dynamic really enjoyable. I love the parts in the comic where Poe's like you really shouldn't be calling me master you're a war vet and a hero man, we should be calling you that, and Poe hauling ass back to carry Threepio out of danger, and then Threepio offering to sacrifice himself so Poe can escape Terex....ough. I like the implication that they went from these very professional colleagues to friends that are so done with each other but come hell or high water they're sticking it out for each other. It always tickles me in tlj when Poe is listening to Finn and Rose's plan and goes "so we blow that one up?" Threepio just WHIRLS around like "wHAT did you just say" it's so delightful to me, and I love that Threepio tends to give it right back to Poe in tros when they're all snippy with each other ("you both make excellent points....some times" makes me laugh my ass off every time). and then poe calling threepio his brother in the tros novelization??????????????????????????? ough......I really can't think of any dynamic with a human that Threepio has where he'll rib right back, so to speak, and it just. Fascinates me. I want so much more about them, especially since I'm sure they worked closely together since Threepio has his spy network and Poe seems to oversee a little bit their other spy network, on top of being (somehow) a spy himself.

Hazformers: Would You OTP Ship The Two Dangerous Yet Hottest Leaders Of Their Groups...?
first of all, this ship is NOT canon to the events that are happening in the Hazformers stories by Blitzy-Blitzwing.
I just fell in love with the idea of Megatron x Carmilla Carmine being ship together, and it might of been thanks to that song "Out For Love" that drove me to doing that ship drawing of those two that one time....
(also this poll is for Mature Audiences Only, like it shows in the tags...)
not everyone has to take this seriously, but I would love to know how many feel about the ship.
I might add Megatron x Carmilla into the story I'm working on that has Sari as the Main Character, but it is still on a bit of a Hiatus.
but I will try to work more on the story and update it in a few days.
Sari is in her 20s in the story, being I think if I remember right, 23 years old and could end up becoming 24 years old later on.
this poll's duration is 1 week, that gives many people a lot of time.
not sure if many will even see this poll, for all I know only a few will end up voting on it.
some of the options will be basically different versions of the "Yes" and "No" to the shipping of Megatron x Carmilla.
still, the ship isn't really canon to Blitzy-Blitzwing's Fan Fics that involve Hazformers.
but it be interesting what some might think about the ship about Megatron of TFA & Carmilla Carmine.
and yeah, besides the whole "Yes" and "No", there is the "Neutral" and "Confused" about the ship.
not everyone has to like the ship that has to do with Megamilla (Megatron x Carmilla Carmine), but I do like the idea of those two being ship together, even if the ship might only end up happening in the future in a story I'm writing where a Sari in her 20s is the Main Character.
like some fans of the Hazformers AU, haven't ship Mammon x Swindle...okay maybe they technically haven't yet...but it isn't like some weren't thinking it.
anyway not everyone has to take this seriously, but I'm still interested what others think about the whole Megamilla ship.
and for all I know, not everyone might be into the whole shipping Megatron x Carmilla together, and that's okay.
but I would like those who do see this, to be 100% truth on their choices on each option and we can see if Megatron x Carmilla is the perfect One True Pairing in a Crossover Timeline or they are just not as loved as some other crossover ships...it just depends on those who see this poll.
which once again, do be 100% truthful in the choices.
please give some thought first before picking one of the Yes, No, Neutral and Confused Choices that has to do with Megaton x Carmilla.
if you watched both Transformers Animated before and watched all the episodes of Season 1 of Hazbin Hotel, think about the scenes that had both Megatron and Carmilla in them, and think over if you think they are perfect together or not at all.
so anyway hope some do like the idea of Megamilla, and if some don't like the ship of Megtron x Carmilla, that's okay too.
but once again, please do be 100% truthful in the poll and think over what choices you would pick that has to do with the few "Yes", "No" and "Neutrals" as well as the whole "Confused" ones about the ship.
and since I found out one can vote on their own poll as well, I know which choice I'm picking...but yeah, have fun with the choices but please make sure to think carefully with which ones you want to pick and please be 100% truthful with it.
make sure to read all of the options and think over the scenes with Megatron from Transformers Animated, and if you seen all the Season 1 of Hazbin Hotel, think about the scenes with Carmilla.
and think over if you think they go great together or not in a Crossover ship.
and in a week from now, we will see if their ship is loved by everyone or not by very many at all...but no matter the outcome, I hope some do enjoy this poll.
and yeah, no matter the outcome....I'm still gonna Crossover OTP ship Megatron x Carmilla and added them being together at some point in that one story where Sari is the Main Character. Sari's Soul & Spark might be a hybrid, so she might not really go to the Well of All Sparks when she dies, and might end up going to the Heaven that is in Earth's Sector of the Afterlife...
anyway once again, have fun but also think over about the different choices and please be 100% truthful in those choices.
and once again, the ship of Megatron x Carmilla are NOT canon to the events of the fan fic stories by Blitzy-Blitzwing.
so please do NOT misinterpret or misunderstand, and anyway thanks for understanding and good luck in the poll choices that has to do with Megatron x Carmilla Carmine.
just don't tell Shockwave & Lugnut about this poll, lol. XD

I love the stylish colors of my Transformers in alt-mode, but let’s be real, it DOES kinda wear away on the whole tagline of “Robots in Disguise” that’s been defining the franchise since its very inception. It’s basically “The Enemy Stand User could be anyone!” meme in a nutshell, with a particularly prominent example to me being TFA, you know that bit where Blitzwing and Lugnut get their alt-modes for the first time: Hi yes it’s just a big selection of planes and tanks and also two of them have the most bright and gaudy colors ever. I hate to admit it, but the Bayverse actually justified the monotone coloration of its Decepticons in the first film, on the reasoning that their alt-modes needed to blend in (in contrast to the more honest Autobots who had nothing to hide).
So that’s why for the Nizziverse... And tbh this could also apply to other continuities as well, Cybertronians have the power to change their color in alt-mode. So when they do imitate the local vehicles, they can actually match the colors as well. This does not apply to robot mode alas, for the Doylist reason of preventing Seekers from impersonating each other for example. But I imagine it’s fully possible to make the new colors apply to robot mode as well, it’s just that when you’re in a pinch and trying to hide, you won’t BE in robot mode to begin with, so designers saved on energon costs by leaving the feature out.
That could lead to some intimidating moments in which a Decepticon in disguise decides to reveal themselves, first with the revelation of their colors, and THEN transformation! Of course there’s also the humor of a random military vehicle suddenly yassifying itself, but that’s just inevitably Transformers in a nutshell, what can ya do about it? And it makes the effort to find hidden Cybertronians feel a lot more prominent if a Decepticon just ran into a car sale. Turns into a different color and sets up a regular vehicle that shared his original palette as the decoy! I also imagine Cybertronians can exploit this power for camouflage purposes as well, so maybe Jungle Bonecrusher is canon after all.
(Man, now I’m imagining Hasbro making toys off of this gimmick... You know plastic that changes colors based on temperature or whatever? I believe I’ve seen Hot Wheels that employ this same gimmick, so imagine Hasbro doing that for Transformers, especially if it’s based on actual movie scenes. Like in the story, it’s primarily the vehicle mode-visible parts that change color, so they can skimp out on robot mode-exclusive bits, such as the face.)

What would have happened if, sentinel did not exist in tfa. Such as optimus, elita and the rest?
You realize that how show would probably completely change if Sentinel didn't exist since it was his idea to take them to Archa Seven. So he basically started the whole plot. Sure Elita might still go to Archa Seven since she did like the idea and there other way for to her to find out without it being Sentinel being there, but I think she might back off from the idea when Optimus tell her that it a bad idea. Sure she might pressure Optimus to go there, but in the end I think Elita would probably not go to Acha seven with Optimus.
maybe she would go by herself but as we all know that would be a complete disaster since without Sentinel or Optimus by her side she's get easily overwhelmed by the frist spider that she encounter and she end like she did in the canon while Optimus end up in the Elite Guard with the guilt that he could of stop Elita from going there yet he didn't.
If Optimus didn't exist in tfa that would mean Sentinel and Elita would go to Archa Seven without anybody putting seeds of doubt that this may be a terrible idea. without Optimus, Sentinel have protect Elita by himself from the spiders. If Elita somehow ending falling to her current doom just like in the canon, it very likely that Sentinel would jump after her without anybody stopping him. Sentinel would do his best to hold back the spiders as best he could yet eventually they both get overwhelmed and get turn into techno organics.( Which might be a very fun idea to explore, just two techno organics who may or may not be a couple trying their best to surrive their current situation )
If Elita didn't exist in tfa that would mean if Sentinel and Optimus went to Archa Seven by themselves. They would either be both turn into Techno organic when they get overwhelmed by the large amount of spiders ( through they would have a better chance than Elita does) or Sentinel would sacrifice himself so Optimus is able to escape. Or Who know maybe they are both able to surrive the accident yet unfortunately get caught by Ultra Magnus (or at least a elite gaurd memeber) who kick them both out of the academy for trespassing on a banned planet and now they both in the maintenance crew.
The point is I think the literally most of the would probably plot would change if one of these characters didn't exist in tfa.

Any thoughts on Star Wars? The sequel trilogy specifically.
Used to be more obsessed with that franchise than anything else in the world.
Tumblr media
Unlike most it wasn't The Last Jedi or Rise of Skywalker that disenchanted me. I was out after The Force Awakens. What a garbage movie, a soulless rehash of A New Hope that rendered the entire Original Trilogy pointless. Prior to the Disney buyout I was a Star Wars fanatic. I devoured obscure articles on Wookieepedia as a child. Teen me couldn't get enough Star Wars books, even trash like Darksaber. Ben Skywalker and Jaina Solo were my favorite characters from the old EU, and Lucas can seethe to his dying day but I thought Mara Jade was awesome. I watched the VHS tapes of the OT until they broke, and seeing Revenge of the Sith in theaters for my birthday as a kid remains one of my favorite childhood memories. On the original Xbox I must have played the campaigns for Star Wars: Battlefront and the KOTOR games over 20 times. When Disney bought the franchise and announced the reboot, I was sad but as a DC fan who came in with the New 52, I had some hope that maybe this would be a good thing. And hey, Legends actually got a decent ending with the Sith finally being completely destroyed and the Skywalker lineage living on. So I gave Disney a chance, went to see TFA with my family... and walked out depressed.
Now I don't care at all. Somehow I successfully managed to sever the emotional connection I used to have. Doesn't bother me when I see the franchise helplessly flailing about these days. I played Jedi Fallen Order and enjoyed that, I'll probably play the sequel, and that's the extent of my engagement with the franchise these days. My littlest sister is a big fan of Star Wars, or at least the Clone Wars and Sequel Trilogy eras. She likes Ahsoka, Anakin, and Kylo the most. She likes Rey. I don't flip out on her for being "wrong" and enjoying those movies any more than my dad did at me enjoying the Prequel Trilogy which he hates. My dad enjoyed the Mandalorian. I have fun talking Star Wars with them, it's been a blast to see my little sister finally get old enough to play through the KOTOR games. I just don't obsess over Star Wars anymore.
At least with Legends, as dumb as it got, I saw the Luke story I wanted to see of him rebuilding the Jedi and having a family. Legends Luke accomplished what his father could not. Legends Han and Leia got their happy ending despite the heartbreak of Jacen's fate. Their fates in the ST are just bafflingly awful. All three die total failures who accomplished sweet fuck all, in some cases outright regressing from where they were at the end of the OT, and the Skywalker lineage ends in total disgrace while the Palpatine bloodline survives through Rey. Whatever, I guess they'll just retell Legends Luke stories with Rey since they basically soft rebooted the franchise to make her the central replacement for Anakin and Luke. She's the one who actually ends the Sith for good and she's the one who will rebuild the Jedi. Long as my sister enjoys what comes next, I guess I'll just treat the Legends ending as my personal canon and treat the ST as fanfiction.

Reading this got me thinking about this excellent essay:
Personally, I agree with many of these points - I think in Episode 8 Rey and Kylo Ren's bond is definitely primarily emotional and basically them connecting over a shared sense of loneliness and not really having anywhere else to turn. And then there's also that one shirtless scene which demonstrates that yes there's some physical attraction but it's also definitely awkward, especially on Rey's end. That doesn't really line up at all with the interpretation of the interrogation scene as sexy from Rey's point of view.
HOWEVER I do think that even in TFA there is significant evidence that Kylo Ren is attracted to Rey, and that explains in a lot of ways why he was so obsessed with her. But if anything that should discourage Reylo because here's this clearly emotionally unstable guy who's obsessing over this girl and also attracted to her. Like, he's attracted but very much not in a healthy way, which suggests that if they had a relationship it would be likely be toxic, maybe abusive, with hints or maybe more than hints of non-consentuality (as the essay I linked above explains far better than I could)
So that's the really interesting thing about Episode 8 is that they build an emotional connection first, that has nothing to do with romantic attraction. And then they got romantic attraction growing organically out of that, but it's more healthy because it's based on understanding one another and vulnerability. And even then a relationship still wouldn't actually be viable, because in the end yes they emotionally connected, but Kylo Ren is still toxic and not listening to what she wants, and tries to force her to choose between him and basically the rest of what she cares about (people have already gone over how this is similar to abuse tactics so I won't belabor the point)
I personally ignore Episode 9's existance so I won't be talking about that. Going out of the end of Episode 8, I think Reylo (IE a healthy romantic relationship between Rey and Ben) is possible but by no means inevitable, because it'll only work if Ben gets his crap together and treats Rey with the respect she deserves. Which is to say I would rather he lived because dying is much easier than living with what you've done and not just doing one big thing to redeem yourself but actually becoming a better person and healing and trying to make up for all the bad you did by making the world a better place.
So much media is excellent at showing things getting extremely messed up and characters spiraling and tragically self-sabotaging but awful at showing how they dig themselves out of that hole and become better as a result. Dang it I want to see people messed up but hopeful and putting one foot in front of the other and not immediately fixed but trying. Why can't Rey die and Ben live, and yes he's sort of redeemed now but both his parents are dead and most of the galaxy hates him and he's royally messed basically everything up. And so now he has to figure out how to keep hoping and pick up the pieces and he wishes that Rey had lived rather than him, but as it is she's gone and he's the one who's left to try and make her sacrifice matter
Or, you know, it stays a tragedy. Where he did connect with Rey once, but ultimately his desire for power/unhealthy beliefs/whatever is stronger, so he keeps on being toxic and self-destructive and dies unredeemed.
IDK I guess what I'm trying to say is I believe Reylo could have worked if and only if a number of specific things happened/changed to make it not toxic. Of all the possible outcomes of their relationship, a significant portion are toxic because Kylo Ren is messed up and I don't think Rey would put up with abusive/toxic treatment. So I disagree with most Reylo interpretations/HCs, but I do ship it under specific circumstances.
What’s the worst Reylo take you’ve ever heard?
HOO BUDDY I GOT A LIST
No really. I can’t narrow it down to one so I’m just gonna list out my pet peeve Reylo takes.
Making pro-Reylo arguments from TFA like: - Kylo carried her bridal style - it was sexy when he locked her down in interrogation and told her “You know I can take whatever I want” - Rey was obviously initially attracted to him when he took off his mask
Painting Ben’s family (Han, Leia, Luke) as abusive/neglectful. To be clear—I AGREE that Ben FELT this way about his family, but I don’t think Ben was CORRECT. Though to give Reylos credit, this may be just that they’re taking the sequels at face value, instead of looking at the sequels as gross mischaracterizations of Han, Leia and Luke.
Reylo is LITERALLY Space Pride and Prejudice!!!!!!!1! Homie Darcy didn’t murder like a thousand people. I’m not one of those Kylo haters who think he’s a real person and you’re not allowed to like villains and I’m not even full anti-Reylo but. There are some pretty significant differences between Kylo and Darcy here LOL
Ben should have lived!! No. Ben Solo is a tragedy. Let him be a tragedy. Dude sacrificed his life to save Rey and save the galaxy, do you not find that beautiful?? This is what AUs are for stop saying he shouldn’t have died in the movie
And these aren’t really takes per se, but they drive me crazy about the Reylo fandom:
The Rian Johnson worship like…what
The Reylo-fication of everything Adam and Daisy ever do now in their acting careers like…what
THE FREAKING…REYLO-FANFICS-TURNED-NYT-BESTSELLERS SNHFJSJDBDJSKFJBFNDNDJDNNFND I’M INSANE (breathe…breathe…)
And to be fair, let’s balance it out with the BEST Reylo takes I’ve ever heard! (The list is shorter)
Ben and Rey get each other in a way that no one else will, both having orphan souls and a yearning to belong, to find their place—Rey with the family she’s never known, Ben away from the family that’s always defined him. Ben is drawn to Rey because she chooses the light when he was led astray by his dark nature, Rey is drawn to Ben because she knows the temptation to give into her anger and sees how she could have so easily become him.
Ben and Rey start with a platonic bond that becomes a romantic bond because of its intensity and their shared experiences/trauma-bonding when they fought the enemy together (I’m NOT saying that romantic bonds are stronger than platonic ones. Just that if Rey likes boys and Ben likes girls and they’re so deeply connected, it’s kinda. Probably just gonna happen.) None of this “love at first sight” crap.
Ben and Rey aren’t initially sexually attracted to each other. I don’t think they…THINK like that. They’ve spent most of their lives trying to survive (physically and emotionally), they’re both still carrying the wounds of their inner children, they both seem kinda guarded and closed off due to their experiences—I don’t think sex is on their minds. (This is my more intelligent way of saying “Ben and Rey are idiot virgins who don’t know what sex is”) Also it’s freaking HILARIOUS to imagine their first encounters (if that were to happen in an AU) being not all sexy like a 50 Shades Reylo fanfic but AWKWARD AS FRICK
I think basically I hate the really surface-level version of Reylo that is just based on the two of them being hot and wanting to screw and boohoo poor Ben Solo. (You know I’m insane about Ben Solo but I also know he did So Many Things Wrong.) But I’m down for enemies-to-friends/found family-to-lovers Reylo where their relationship develops gradually and is based on their shared experiences and deep understanding of one another.
Thanks for the ask!!

So, in honor of the one-year anniversary, I went and rewatched Episode 2, and there's one line that usually gets overlooked but really got me thinking, this time around...
Tumblr media
Now, I know this whole exchange is very jokey and lighthearted, but it always felt odd to me that he points out the arm, rather than...his existence as a whole-ass supersoldier. Like, the arm is impressive, but it is...not the thing doing the most to make him capable in a fight.
And yet, that's what he points out. Thinking about it, the only times he even refers to himself as a supersoldier is when discussing the serum in a negative light (ie. when talking to Isaiah). A lot of other people bring it up to him, throughout the series, but he never gives them any sort of response. Usually, he just goes silent.
I saw a post earlier, talking about Bucky's behavior throughout the show, and the fact that, truthfully, he spends a large chunk of the series being a grade-a asshole to everyone he cares about. In the comments, most of the discussion that arose, both in his defense and condemning his behavior, discussed it through the lens of Steve Rogers. Honestly, Steve is at the center of most discussions of Bucky's mental state, and on the one hand, I get it. Most of his story, up to this point, has revolved entirely around Steve and their relationship, regardless of how you interpret it.
But I think that, in the case of TFATWS, pinning Bucky's conflict and behavior entirely on ManPainTM about the Steve Rogers-sized hole in his life really undercuts both his character arc and the story that the writers seemed to be trying to tell.
Not to mention, it completely disregards Sam's pain, when he is, realistically, the one who has the most right to be hurt by Steve's actions, considering he was kept in the dark and thrown this monumental responsibility without any consideration for his experience as a Black man, but that's probably something for people more eloquent than me to explore.
(Btw, this is not a defense of Bucky's actions, in the show; even he canonically admits he was being an asshole, and it's very important to acknowledge the level to which he consistently fucked up, throughout almost all of the series. This is just an analysis of why he did those things, because I think it's gone pretty largely unexplored/entirely linked to Steve/Stucky.)
The way I see it, Bucky's central conflict, here, is about two things:
1) His own self-image and the way that he relies entirely on other people to tell him who he is,
and
2) The level to which his trauma is linked directly to the supersoldier serum, and the tunnel-vision he gets as soon as it becomes a factor in anything
Regarding the first point, the show lays it out pretty clearly, and that's the one place where Steve is a real factor. Steve said that Bucky was good, despite the whole world (and his own beliefs) saying otherwise. So, he needs Steve to be right about Sam taking the shield. Because if Steve can be wrong about things, then maybe Bucky's self-hatred is warranted.
The general consensus in the fandom, at large, seems to be that the part of Bucky's personality that the serum enhanced most was his loyalty. That's what made him such a good choice for Hydra. The guy seems totally lost without someone he can follow around like a puppy-dog. He is entirely capable of taking charge; he basically called the shots on the battlefield until Steve showed up, if that one deleted scene from TFA is to be believed. But post-serum, he's constantly scrambling for someone else to tell him what to do. Even the decisions he makes on his own (breaking Zemo out, most notably) are ultimately about getting someone else to take the lead, after which he follows pretty much without question. Maybe part of this is left-over programming, but honestly, I think that's just Bucky. Especially now, the guy's loyal to a fault and insecure to the point of near-paralysis, when left to his own devices.
Onto the second point, and the one that this line really made me think about: Bucky is a character who refuses to acknowledge his own trauma. He veers his own much-needed therapy in the direction of "making amends" for things he didn't really do, because it's easier for him to reframe himself as a monster than to accept himself as a victim. He doesn't argue with the idea that Hydra used to be "his people," even though they were, objectively, his captors. That way of thinking is fairly out of the ordinary for the MCU. You wouldn't see Clint saying Loki was his teammate and New York was his fault, or the people of Westview calling Wanda their old friend and neighbor. Mind control in the Marvel Universe is usually acknowledged as such, but Bucky pretty consistently refuses to do so.
However, the second the supersoldier serum comes up, he, at least subconsciously, cannot let it become a factor in his life, again. It's associated with so much pain, fear, and loss. It's the central theme of all of his trauma--most of his experience in the war, his capture and torture at Azzano, his time as the Winter Soldier, the entirety of Civil War, his existence in the present-day. If not for the serum, he would have lived a normal life. No torture, no brainwashing, and maybe he'd have died in the war, but he'd have died as himself, knowing his family and best friend were safe at home and that he was giving his life for his country and dying a hero. And if he'd survived? He'd have always just been Bucky Barnes, that kid from Brooklyn who goes to science conventions and reads fantasy novels and goes dancing with pretty girls. There'd have been no Red Skull, no Captain America, no Winter Soldier.
So even for Bucky, even for a guy who flat-out refuses to face the trauma he's endured in the past 80 years or so, the serum is the breaking point. Yeah, he shows up to yell at Sam about the shield because of point number one, but until he realizes the Flag-Smashers are supersoldiers, he really does not take the mission seriously. He's cracking jokes and rolling his eyes and honestly treating it more like a little inconvenience than a serious mission. He references his metal arm in this scene, because he does not want to think about supersoldiers, even if the supersoldier in question is himself. Because the serum was a curse, and the vibranium arm was a gift. A gift from the people who he trusts and cares for the most.
Until there are supersoldiers. And suddenly, all of that, including his loyalty to Wakanda, goes out the window. Before the end of the day, he's already decided to break Zemo out of prison, because there is no longer anything of any importance, in his mind. Before the mission started, he asked Sam "what could be more important than [the shield]?" Now, he has an answer. All of his actions, from that point forward, have little to nothing to do with Steve Rogers and everything to do with the inescapable fact that the serum is the most terrifying, traumatic thing in the world, in his eyes. He tries to argue with Zemo that it didn't corrupt Steve, yes, but again, that just harkens back to point one and his need for Steve to be perfect and untouched by anything negative, because he's put all his self-worth eggs in that one basket. In every other moment, his entire focus is on destroying that serum, at all cost, the rest of the world be damned.
That's probably why he goes to Isaiah, honestly. When he said "there's more of you and me, out there," and Isaiah threw him and Sam out, he seemed genuinely surprised, even though he just barged into this man's house (who he didn't really know, let's be honest) to bring up a ridiculously horrific past that he's clearly trying to move on from. Because in his mind, the horror and trauma of the serum should naturally evoke a reaction of "fuck, shit, okay, drop everything, we need to put a stop to this, immediately." He's so lost in that mindset and unable to look at the situation objectively that he ends up hurting and screwing over a lot of people he cares about (or at least, doesn't want to bring any harm to.)
It isn't until Episode 5 that he actually steps back, looks at the situation from an outside perspective, and realizes the full extent of what he's been doing and how it's affected those around him. His relationship with his own trauma--constantly pushing it aside and treating himself as a villain, rather than a victim, until he physically cannot do that, anymore, and becomes obsessive to the point of complete tunnel-vision--is hurting him and everyone around him. And I think he realizes it, in that episode, because his behavior immediately starts changing for the better.
What we see in him, from there, is certainly not a full recovery, but it's the closest thing to healing we've seen from him, in the ten years he's been in the MCU. It doesn't excuse his actions, by any means, but it certainly is pointing him in the right direction, and I think it'll be really interesting to see where his story goes, moving forward, if Marvel chooses to continue it.

I would die for a meta on your thoughts about the reylo (which, let’s be honest, is basically just the kylo ren) fandom.
I don’t know. Maybe I’m biased. But I am straight up CONVINCED that the reason we lost out on a trilogy focusing on the trio is because of how much absolute annoying NOISE they made about #savebensolo online, which somehow convinced the movie directors that it was a cashcow making idea.
There’s the Rise of Kylo Ren comics, which apparently set up how Kylo didn’t burn down the school and it was all a big “misunderstanding”, but you will never convince me that that was the plan for kylo’s backstory in The Force Awakens. I specifically remember them talking about wanting Kylo to have an anti-redemption arc to parallel Anakin’s “redemption” arc, where Kylo would grow more and more entrenched in the dark side as the trilogy continued on. Him killing Han was supposed to cement that turn from the light.
And then, suddenly the rest of the movies start focusing more on him than Rey and her relationships with her friends. To the point where there are still Reylo fans who say that rey’s ending isn’t a happy one, because she “doesn’t care about Poe and Finn” as much as Kylo.
Rey didn’t even need to end up without a love interest! I know there are people who wish she had ended up alone, but Finnrey was set up in the very first movie. They flirted! I even would have accepted The Duel of the Fates script with a poe romance if it would have been done well, or even finnpoe.
Instead, we had our main female character risking it all for Kylo in the Last Jedi, which, in canon, is three days post The Force Awakens, after Kylo slashed Finn in the back with a lightsaber so close to his spine that it’s absolutely amazing he isn’t paralyzed.
What if Finn had died? Has anyone ever thought of that? He was in a coma at the end of tfa. People die from injuries while in a coma all the time. Let’s say Kylo threw everything down to come with Rey at the end of tlj. How would that go if they arrived and leia and poe had to break it to Rey, “yeah, finn’s fucking dead, man. Sorry.” Is Rey just supposed to be cool with that and let Kylo go on his merry way? Perhaps date him after that?
There are legitimate reylo fans who believe that Kylo should have lived at the end of tros and went back to the resistance with Rey to have a family and live happily ever after. Just… be pardoned for all his crimes. They really believe that Rey should worship the ground Kylo walks on to the point where she would bring him back to Finn, who he almost killed, and poe, who he tortured, and have her steadfastly defend him against her two friends.
It just—infuriates me so much. We really could have had it all. But certain parts of the fandom made it all about Kylo Ren, to the point where it didn’t just retract from the trio; it also retracted from Rey’s character herself.
Sorry if I ranted. You just have some awesome takes and I’m thinking again about the sequels and the potential they had, lol.
Aw, I really appreciate your kind words. But unfortunately, I don't have any behind the scenes information for you.
I do think, based on the end of the Last Jedi, that Kylo was set up as the big bad. And this may be projection, but I don't get the sense that JJ Abrams really wanted to write Kylo's redemption. The man's written morally ambiguous characters before in his career, and pulled off more dubious redemption arcs. I think he could have sold Kylo's arc better, if he really wanted to.
I haven't read the comics and I honestly don't care about them. They've never been that relevant to my mind, when it comes to evaluating Kylo as a character. My own take is that, whether or not he was to blame for the temple's destruction, he had options besides joining a regime that's obviously a Nazi-allegory, that enslaves children and commits genocide. I judge him by the decisions we see him make on screen, and those are pretty damning.
That said, I mostly enjoyed Rise of Skywalker. Kylo's redemption didn't work for me, but we also saw him die and that made me happy. Rey had an ambiguous moment that might or might not have been romantic. I don't think that's enough to ruin her. At almost forty, I have an old person's cynicism: young people sometimes fall for the wrong people. In my eyes, it's more important that Rey gets a happy ending with the people she actually loves: Finn and Poe. And TROS gave me that.
It's okay to be dissatisfied with the movies, and I'm always in favor of folks ranting about what makes them unhappy. But it's also okay to move on. The Star Wars Universe has a lot of lovely material right now, and more to come. Perhaps there'll be something more to your taste if you give it a chance?

TFA AU: Humanformers
This was actually an AU I’ve thought about for a while, but was hesitant to share because I wasn’t sure I’d be able to explain it well. My writings on my AUs tend to disorganized already, so I wanted to wait to I could properly explain this AU idea before sharing. I think I can explain now, but in case you still don’t understand it, don’t be afraid to ask, and I’ll answer the best I can.
Humanformers
As the title hints, this is an AU where our beloved Autobots are humans.
In this AU, the main Autobots start out as humans, but gain the ability to turn into giant robots thanks to the Allspark.
However, in this AU, the bots they turn into had lives of their own on Cybertron. I wouldn’t really call this a reincarnation thing, more like they main characters were given the ability to transform into Autobots that had died.
I actually got inspiration from Steven Universe, mainly how Steven inherits his mother’s abilities after giving up her physical form for him to be born, but he inherits her problems as well and most of his enemies think he’s his mother when they first encounter him.
So that’s a major theme in this AU, the characters often have to deal with the consequences of their predecessors’ actions.
They’re basically Superheroes in this AU, more than they already are in the show. Meaning, they actually keep their identity a secret from others, with only Sari knowing their identity at first. Maybe Isaac Sumdac and Captain Fanzone later on.
And they basically look like their human forms from Human Error. It was there so might as well use it.
You know how in other TF shows, the main group are experienced and respected heroes? I’m going to use that here. While the crew in this AU basically have the same personalities as the canon, their predecessors’, the bots they turn into, were indeed those experienced and respected warriors. So while Decepticons and Autobots are expecting skilled heroes, what they really get is a bunch of rookies who have no idea what they’re doing or what’s really going on.
Characters
Optimus Prime: Orion Fanzone. That’s right, for this AU, he’ll be son of Captain Fanzone. He is a recent college graduate who just starts working at Sumdac Industries. While Fanzone isn’t too fond of machines, Orion would be pretty okay with them. He, of course, would be the reluctant leader of this team. At first, he would be pleased to be able to help people and be a hero, but he would be the most negatively effected by his predecessor’s past.
Prowl: Pierce Roberts. He’s a park ranger in this AU, which I thinks makes sense, since he loves nature in the show. I imagine him being least effected by his predecessor's past, and would even be sympathetic to what his predecessor went through, and the one who deals with having to deal with his predecessor’s past the best.
Ratchet: Rowen O’Donnell. A doctor, a veteran, and family friend to Captain Fanzone and Orion. He, at first, would want nothing to do with all of this, but would more or less be convinced to do so by Orion. Aside from Pierce, he would be more understanding to his predecessor's past, since, as a veteran himself, he can empathize with what his predecessor went through.
Bulkhead: Benjamin ‘Ben’ Hudson. A college student who is an art major. He would have a love-hate feeling for his new abilities. He would enjoy smashing things and would be pretty fun, but he would hate how much damage his accidently causes. He’ll learn to be more carefully and how to use his new abilities for his art.
Bumblebee: Barry Baker. A high school senior. I wanted to keep him as the youngest, but not too young. He would be the most excited about being able to turn into a giant robot and would, at first, be irresponsible with his new powers, but he would mature over time and learn that he can’t just play around with his power. ‘With Great Power comes Great Responsibility’.
Story
In this AU, during the Great War between the Autobots and Decepticons over the Allspark, there was a finally battle between Megatron and Second-in-Command Optimus Prime, Top Medic Ratchet, Master Cyberninja Prowl, Wrecker Bulkhead, and Scout Bumblebee.
However, while the Autobots are victorious, Optimus Prime and his team did not survive, and their ship and the Allspark was lost. Many assumed the team killed Megatron, but Starscream had a hand in Megatron’s demise.
And as we know, Megatron and the ship would fall to Earth, with the ship falling to Lake Erie and Megatron being found by Isaac Sumdac.
The only thing that would remain of the original team would a shard of each of their sparks. And those shards would somehow find a way to the new team, and those shards would allow them to transform.
Eventually, the team would find a way to each other. For now, I imagine them all coming together during that monster attack during part 2 of the first episode “Transform and Roll Out!”
I imagine they had transformed at least once before the events of that episode, but that would be the first time they would’ve done so together. They’re fighting and teamwork would be sloppy and uncoordinated at first, but they would manage to get the job done and save Sari.
Shortly after their victory, the Allspark would call them to it, and wanting answers, the group would follow, with Sari being brought by Barry in secret.
But of course, they wouldn’t really get any answers as the Allspark is a very cryptic item. But it would still give Sari her key, which can still allow her to heal the crew in their robot forms and use it on other machines.
Sari would be the one who suggests they become superheroes. Barry and Ben would be quick to agree, Orion and Pierce would hesitate at first, but eventually agree, and Rowen would be “No, I’m too old for this.” Orion would eventually convince him to join.
So overall, the show would be about them being Superheroes, with only Sari knowing their identity and aiding them in whatever way she can.
But like a lot of superhero stories, it doesn’t take long before their secret lives as heroes start affecting their civilian lives, both in good and bad ways.
And it gets worse when Decepticons come after them, wanting to kill them for reasons the team doesn’t understand and thinking their someone else. Starscream would be the first, wanting to take the Allspark from them and gloating at how he killed Megatron, and they don’t even know what the heck he’s talking about.

A Rescue Bots AU where everything is the same, but at some point, Cody starts to use punk/emo/black clothes not because he feels sad, but because he likes the esthetic and Heatwave likes things with spikes.
And so, on the outside, he looks like a cool punk rocker but when someone talks to him he shows the warmest smile anyone could give!
His dad and family want their little sunshine back!
This would be fun to see!
I can see this happening sometime after season 3 or even season 4. He decides since he’s grown so much since meeting the bots, he wants to try a new look.
I imagine he would go punk/emo style because the style is cool, tough, and maybe to show he may be a nice guy, he isn’t a naive little kid.
At first, everyone would be greatly concerned and are worried something’s wrong with Cody.
But Cody would show that he’s still the sweet, compassionate boy they know and love, he just wants to try a new look.
Heatwave would definitely like the new look, I can even imagine he would aid Cody as he creates his new look.
Chase would disapprove, thinking Cody looks like a hooligan, but since Cody doesn’t engage in any illegal activity, he wouldn’t try to stop Cody.
Blades would not like it at all, thinking the new look is scary and he wants sweet Cody back.
Boulder wouldn’t really understand, but he would be supportive in Cody wanting to try new looks and styles.
Charlie would be concerned, but seeing that Cody is no different personality-wise, he would chalk it up as a phase and allow it.
Kade would think he looks like a punk and might pick on him about going through a goth-phase, but he wouldn’t really disapprove of the new look.
Dani would actually like it, but she would tease him a bit how Cody’s too sweet to really be punk/emo, but she would like the new look.
Graham would definitely be concerned and would question why Cody likes this aesthetic so much, but he wouldn’t really say that he doesn’t like it.
The town would definitely be surprised by Cody’s new look, but Cody would quickly put their worries to rest by proving that while he looks different, he’s still him.

Pokémon Bede's League Cards
Something that I've noticed and but never really paid much attention to (and I've never seen anyone else talk about it), is about Bede's League cards:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
These Cards have two different signatures!
That might not be a big deal but on the major league cards, the regular and rare cards have mostly the exact same signature.
There are only three exceptions:
One Card having a signature while the other is blank. (Hop, Marnie, and Piers)
The signature being the same, just in different colors. (Melony, Mustard, and Honey)
Ball Guy only has one card.
Bede's card really stands out because the signature is entirely different. Maybe it's to symbolize he's in a better place, developed into a better person thanks to Opal's influence. He went from an orphan desperately trying to please his 'father figure' Rose, to a Gym Leader under the guidance of someone who actually cares about him and his well-being.
That's just my thought. If anyone else has thoughts on this, please share!
Honestly, this has been on my mind for so long, but this was before I was really invested in Tumblr and by the time I was, the game was out for a while, so I decided not to say anything about it. Until now, that is.

My #1 post of 2022
Pokemon Iono and Klara
When I first saw the new Gym leader, Iono, in the lastest trailers for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, the first thing that came to mind was how similar she was to Klara from the Isle of Armor DLC for Pokemon Sword.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
First glance, their designs are pretty similar to me, just different type themes, like Klara is Poison while Iono is Electric.
They both have pink hair with pokemon-themed hair accessories, Klara has a white Dustox bow and Iono has Magnemite hair things.
Those boots they have look rather similar, just, again, different themes.
They both present themselves as cute and bubbly, but there is something about them that indicates that that's not entirely who they are. Klara looks like a bubblegum pop girl, but is vindictive and calculating, and Iono looks cute and energetic, but those sharp teeth indicate that she is a fierce gym leader.
And they both seem to be focused on their popularity and image as well as their skills as gym leaders. Klara was an underground pop singer who decided to become a gym leader to become more popular and mostly wanted people to dote on her before getting serious about her training. And Iono is a streamer and influencer, so popularity must be an important thing for her, if her stream is any indication.
They give me the impression that if ever met, they would act like BFFs in public, but would be heated rivals, both in terms of popularity and skills as gym leaders.
