Ok im just gonna say it

Strange New Worlds is overall a great show BUT it is extremely disrespectful to Spock’s character.

He’s hooked up with like 3 women so far and is a massive fuckboy. The show treats him like some baby boy and the writing itself for him gives boymom and it makes me sick.

Idc that they going for a less mature Spock pre OG series, it’s still ooc and I will die on this hill.

I understand that Spirk is a risk Paramount will not take. They are too cowardly for that, fucking fine I have plenty of Spirk content to feed me regardless.

I just refuse to accept fuckboy Spock its just gross. And don’t even with the bi argument because I would respect that if there any male love interests for him in his fuckboy bullshit but there are NONE, ZERO, ZILCH.

3 fucking love interests in 2 seasons and less than a quarter of season 3 and none of them male.

But either way, it doesnt even matter because Im tired of Spock being the pretty soy boy fuckboi because thats not who he is no matter who gets with. Even if they did make him a bi king, being a fuckboi cancels it out snd just damages bi rep even more imo

When will they fucking get Spock right i swear to god. Him being half human makes for both the best and the worst fucking writing. But nowadays its an excuse for gratuitous romantic bullshit. Even the Kelvin timeline did it to him to a lesser extent.

No one will ever be Leonard Nimoy I fully understand that. But for godsake learn from him and the legacy he gave Spock.

Y’all… I actually liked The Hunting Wives. Reminded me of Killing Eve but juicier actually. It’s like if Melania Trump was fucking around and finding out 🤣 the conservative Texas vibes was kinda tough at first but I really liked how they worked that aspect into the murder mystery and all the plot twists.

And I do enjoy my toxic lesbians who occasionally beat the shit out of each other. Plus I’ve been wanting to see Brittany Snow in a gay role for years now since her stints in John Tucker Must Die and Pitch Perfect so that fed that.

And Malin looks a LOT like Lucy Lawless too so it was like watching Xena in Melania cosplay kissing women again.

I will say it’s a really fucked up show with some disturbing elements it doesnt shy away from but personally if it serves the plot and character building it just makes sense. Especially given the atmosphere of the show where appalling acts are essentially normal so long as it’s a secret

I think it’s safe to say I LOVED Superman 2025. Don’t have the words for a full review. But man what an experience especially with my wife @jedimasterbailey watching a hero who had been my inspiration my whole life actually be characterized right for the first time on the big screen in so many years 💙💛❤️

Would you say Superman is essentially Clark Kent and he puts on the Kal-El persona when needed? That seems to be the difference between Clark and Batman.

Hmm well varies depending on the version of Superman. But yes I do believe Clark Kent is essentially his core but Superman isn’t just a persona. I do think Kal El an ideal Clark wants to live up to if that makes any sense. Very good question, thank you for the ask!
