i actually hate travelling with other people. it is 1000x more stressful than travelling alone because you end up bound to their unhinged decisions and unable to cut loose and make sensible alternative choices that would save you hours of your life and probably a fair bit of money, not to mention the sleepless nights and grey hairs of stressing about other people's complete failures to consider things like whether their forms of transport actually join up, scheduling wise

The Kaiju No. 8 anime does go a bit more into stuff as the manga is mainly to the point. All 12 episodes for the first season are already which cover Chapters 1-37 if you plan to check it out.

At the risk of revealing I know very little about things in general, I really don't understand why Nintendo is shutting down online support for the 3DS/Wii U? Or that like, they can even Do That? Cause like, to me it makes sense that they'd have control and the say-so on the eShop, that's like, something they run as a company and Yes it absolutely sucks ass they nuked it for profit but like. Idk if I'll even phrase this right LMFAO but it seems like something they run themselves so it makes sense that they have complete authority over it. It's in their jurisdiction.

But like??? In my mind, if you have A Device that can connect to the internet it just. Should? Like I don't need a phone plan/data to use my old phone as a Youtube running device, as long as I'm connected to the internet. Like, the internet is a third party almost, one that you pay for personally and separately from any device you can use it with. I don't understand how Nintendo can intersect that and cut it off for their devices, specifically. Like, even if they have servers??? Idk how any of that works tbh I was just under the impression that if you have a device that you own and internet access. It's just those two things. Maybe it gets more complicated when it comes to games like Splatoon, but still....

I kinda miss how much statistical information ff.net gave users about their fanfictions. Like sure. It also encouraged users to go slightly insane over numbers and updating just to see number go up. But AO3 gives me no indication or clue on how many people have read my stories. Like, for all I know, based on the numbers, even those with the biggest numbers could technically only have been read by the number of people who left kudos – and guests could theoretically be left by the same person. And it's completely impossible to tell for ongoing multichapter stories whether people just left after the first chapter unless they leave a comment.

I just miss parts of ff.net.

the thing i rly do like about 911 compared to other procedurals is that for the most part nothing gets forgotten. stuff that happened four years ago still has an impact on the characters. its not perfect but it's better than a lot of procedurals where everything is contained within its arc and then nobody after talks about this huge trauma they went through ever again

I was supposed to graduate this year but due to a schedule fuck up I have one more year and today all my friends graduated without me. I thought I was fine with it until I saw everyone graduating without me today. It just bums me out. All my friends will be gone next year and I feel like my graduation day will feel really lonely.

anyone here able to tell me how long i need to let my cartilage piercings heal before i can change the jewelry on them? for refence i got an industrial, a helix just below it, a conch, and then i also got a second lobe. i got them pierced at the end of july so it's been just over two months. i know it takes about 6 months for cartilage piercings to fully heal but do i have to wait that long before i can change the jewelry or can i start doing that in the next month or two? they've healed pretty well for the most part, but it did take about 3-4 weeks for the swelling and redness to finally go down. i'm also pretty sure either the lower industrial or the helix got infected about a week after i got them. they all look pretty good now except for the second lobe, which got pulled out about two weeks post-piercing and has been tender ever since.....
