more or less😭the main story with Pat Garrett and all goes that he was at some house and he either heard a noise and got up in the middle of the night or he got up in the middle of the night for a snack/drink, and Pat Garrett surprise attacked him, shot him dead :/ and there was the ‘famous words’ he said which was “¿Quien es? ¿Quien es?" (Who is it? Who is it?)

that’s like the most accepted story, I believe but obviously there’s lots of theories of if he did survive somehow or that’s a fake story, and he got away blah blah, but regardless…imo…he died

Also sorry gonna rant…is this the time to also say, I really hope btk the show goes with this story and like some of what Tom has said about the show’s writer and all, (like about how he’s filling in the gaps that history hasn’t told us and it’s obviously historical fiction so it can take other routes and such)

it does make me wonder if the plan is to go by one of the theories instead and have Pat sorta help Billy fake his death or smth, but I really hope they go with the story of Pat killing him cause like…the reason billy has this sort of folk hero/famed outlaw status now at least is also CAUSE of his death. Cause he did so much and he was so young, and it’s also…tragic. Like his story is a tragic one and I feel like the show is painting it that way already, and I think without that, his story almost doesn’t have the same impact it would if he just…got away and disappeared like it feels too perfect???? Yk??? And the show has already hinted at his death SO many times…idk does someone get me??? I want him to die in the show I feel like that’s the most meaningful way to go about it like it just takes away from so much else😭

I entirely understand why other trans folks correct on pronouns and etc and I definitely have conversations with cis folks so other, more tired/dysphoric trans people won't have to, but it's so hard for me to correct someone I'm going to see for 30 minutes probably once ever, and that goes double if they're being genuinely kind. Part of it is a bit of fear that I'll be making a big deal out of something for no reason, sure, but mostly it's just. I went to get new shoes for work and I really need a haircut and forgot to put my eyebrows on (they're there, just light) so mostly I just looked like a mess and the guy at the store mentioned that I seem to have a wider foot, which he assumes is why I'm shopping for men's shoes, and it just struck me as so funny. Like yeah. Sure, that's why. As long as you're not being weird about me being in the men's section, I don't really care how you rationalize it. Truly. I could've told him my gender and pronouns, but like. Why?

Anyway the new shoes kinda hurt but they're Merrells and he did explain that they'll take some breaking in and how to go about it. So.

AuDHD is so funny sometimes like what do you mean my hyperfixations/special interests will last for years on end or possibly forever but they will cycle out every month or two with absolutely no transitional period or warning. like i will think about the same topic every day obsessively for 46 days in a row and on the 47th day with no visible cause adhd brain goes "ok! bored of that now" and autism brain goes "dw i got something queued up for ya" and i blast into full blown obsession on some other topic whose mental file folders haven't opened in 9 months. brain's out here treating hyperfixations like a crop rotation. once the dopamine runs out it cycles in another one but once something's in the rotation it never ever leaves. last summer we brought in one from when i was 11. it's so funny to me but frustrating too bc like. i cannot stress enough my inability to predict or control this. or how completely abrupt and random it can be
