not that he’d ever admit that to himself. absolutely not. he’s not jealous. he’s never jealous. for every single instance that he’d be very explicitly, very overtly be feeling a little green, jaehyun would always have an excuse. a justification. 

he wasn’t jealous when woonhak greeted him ten minutes late on his birthday when the kid greeted everyone else on time— he was wronged. he wasn’t jealous when the kids from last year’s children’s day event kept flocking to sungho instead of him— he was offended. those are completely different feelings from jealousy. he’s above feeling that sickly green emotion.

well. that was until you picked leehan over him to work on the event entrance with you.

“donghyun-ah, the kids keep fighting. do you wanna work together instead?”

in that moment, even myung jaehyun couldn’t deny that what he was feeling was jealousy.

and it wasn’t a very nice feeling.

“quit being pathetic,” taesan bluntly tells him, the both of them sitting on the stairs at the entrance of the office. jaehyun unburies his chin from his knees, still hugging his legs to his chest to look to his left and send taesan, who’s been tossing a rubber ball back and forth into the air, a dirty look. “what? i’m just saying. quit acting like your girlfriend just cheated on you. she’s not. you don’t even have the right to be jealous.”

“mind your own business, jerk,” the both of them have been moping around and wallowing in mutual rejection ever since you and leehan disappeared into the storage room together. why’s this guy acting like he’s all mature all of a sudden?

“just saying,” taesan shrugs, shooting the ball up in the air one last time before hooking an arm to catch and pocket it, because at that moment, the both of them see you and their other friend leave the storage hut, and taesan quickly jumps to his feet and runs up, calling out your name.

jaehyun’s stomach writhes at the sight. it’s mid-afternoon. the sun is so bright and warm and focusing on you entirely, but your attention is caught in between two boys who are trying to carry the boxes, papers, documents for you.

the tree leaves are green. the yard’s grass is green. myung jaehyun is seeing green.

“jaehyun.”

somehow, he thought that the best way to manage this feeling is by throwing a protest. a fit, if you will. for the next three days, he hasn’t been talking to you. he’s been simply just acknowledging your existence as a co-volunteer. he’s nothing more than that to you, anyway.

“jaehyun-ah.”

because taesan is right— he doesn’t have the right to be jealous. he doesn’t have the right to want your attention. he’s doesn’t have the right.

the warmth that’s seeping from your palms into his cheeks is overheating is brain. he’s burning. he’s burning up. what...what was he doing again? protest? what? “why—why would i be?”

your hands leave his face and he pouts and frowns even further. “you really think i wouldn’t notice you getting upset the other day?”

that means you’ve been paying attention to him. jaehyun nearly ascends into cloud nine, but he’s brought back down to earth by your next few words.

“it’s not that i didn’t want to work with you. it’s just that donghyun was the only one i haven’t gotten the chance to get close with yet in the committee.”

again, myung jaehyun is a jealous man.

“so i thought it would be a nice opportunity to get along with him better.” and this is a feeling he can’t quite control just yet, and neither can he control his face and expression— a visibly knitted look, downturned lips, and drooping shoulders which don’t go unnoticed by you. “jaehyun-ah, what’s wrong?”

he droops even further, tugging you closer by the hem of your shirt so he could mumble, “i don’t like it.” and again, it’s just as taesan says— he doesn’t have the right to be jealous. 

you laugh. “what do you mean?”

“why do you need to get closer with him, anyway?”

but if he doesn’t have that right, can’t he just earn it?

“you’re already pretty close with me.”

Something really great about the persona 2 cast is that they all individually fucking SUCK to talk to casually. Every single one of them. They are all infuriating. We have:

Tatsuya, who will stare at you blankly if you try to initiate conversation (IS) and will dip without saying a word afterward (EP)

Batsuya, who will scoff and brush you off/otherwise act dismissive

Eikichi, who might honestly be the best to talk to in the IS crew and that is not saying much, who WILL talk extremely loudly over you (probably not on purpose?) and will not be paying particularly close attention to the conversation beyond whatever he wants to say (gets points for talking about his gf. gets points taken away for constantly talking about his gf)

Lisa, who will automatically assume bad faith and will be rude to you the entire conversation unless you manage to defuse her temper (good luck)

Jun, who is uncommunicative at BEST and requires an encyclopedic knowledge of flowers, metaphor and body language just to get a HINT on what he’s thinking, and who will be extremely polite but completely unhelpful. If you tried asking him what he wants for dinner I guarantee it will be the longest 30 minutes of your life as he goes “oh I have no opinion :) whatever you want. :))” EXCEPT HE DOES HAVE OPINIONS. He has SO MANY OPINIONS. He is Expecting you to be able to pick up on his “obvious” clues. He will be passive aggressive if you don’t. (Jun babygirl you suck so bad I love u)

Maya, who is a delight but will very quickly become grating if you try to talk to her about anything serious as she hits you with the white suburban mom's "how to live a happy, healthy life" lifecoach slogans. You can’t even mention, like, stepping in a puddle or something without her hitting you with the positivity beam.

Yukino is great actually. 10/10. She’s fabulous we love her. Incredible conversationalist, chill and fun and easy to get along with. But she’s from Persona One, she doesn’t Count.

Ulala, who WILL bring up her relationship problems in every conversation within 10 minutes at least once. Any longer and she will start talking about Maya.

Do I even need to explain Baofu. Have you seen him.

And finally, Katsuya, who is a cop and a kiss ass and Very Obvious about these things. Also he can't talk to women. He can barely talk to men. Help Him.

And yet they all work wonderfully as a group. They are so annoying I love them

you know . i keep saying that i’m gonna make a post abt chapter 268 and i probably will as soon as i can get my thoughts in order but ………. i’ve been thinking a lot about the conclusion to sukuna’s and yuji’s relationship . and even though i wish we had more buildup beforehand i do think the ending itself is really really good…. even if sukuna is technically yuji’s uncle, yuji’s soul still represents the soul of the younger brother sukuna ate in the womb, so for yuji to accept sukuna, to not curse him at the very last moment…. it feels very . intentional. like the younger brother is forgiving the older brother for doing what he had to do to survive. sukuna rejects the forgiveness, which makes sense, but i wonder if he felt that way too…. that he was being pitied, forgiven, and loved by the first weakling he devoured……..

One day, May receives a threatening letter at work. It says, "Do you know who your nephew is?" and contains, crushed into the page, a dead spider.

Horrified, May calls Tony Stark. Plans are set in place immediately to move the Parkers into Stark Tower for protection while Tony tracks down the people who sent the threat. 

Peter is at school during the chaos of getting May to the tower. He only learns what's happened when he's called out of class. When he gets to the office, it's Tony waiting there (with the very stunned school secretary) to pick him up. He has his nanotech housing unit on.

Tony explains once they're in the car. Peter freaks out until Tony promises that May is already safely at the tower with Happy and Pepper. Only then does Peter notice that Tony's hands are shaking too.

All of this was not what the villains wanted. Their plan had been to scare May into abandoning Peter. They didn't know that she already knew who he was, and they definitely didn't know that the Parkers were close to Tony Stark.

An abandoned and homeless Peter would have been much easier to kidnap. Now, they will have to step up their game.
