A good friend of mine is going to do a registered partnership, and I need help picking a good present. All the suggestions Google gives are about sex, his/her lists or items, or are so corny that it’s making even my romantic ass go nauseous.

What’s a good gift for two people who are tying a knot and expecting a child this year?

#adding the last bit because i’ve seen a lot of signs with birds on them #which are cute #but that’s just two people #I don’t want to get something for the kid - they’ll get that later when they are born #I’m very much also about the parents getting something for them #she likes gardening and he likes being outdoors and messing around with tech #both like puzzles and games #they’re a cute couple but not the super outwardly romantic type #not the mr/mrs kind or ones who’d enjoy a statue of the two of them #I did see fruittrees as a gift #but I’m afraid they’ll have an entire orchard at the end of the day lmao #they have a garden but it’s not THAT big

Love the contrast between the Americans’ “Apollo” and the Soviets’ “Sputnik.” You got the Americans naming their rocket after a Greek god trying to communicate the grandness and importance of this rocket. And you got the Soviets naming their rocket “fellow traveler.” Like a friend you go on an adventure with together. This rocket is our little friend lol

headcanon that percy and annabeth have a relationship contract they made after they got together once the war came to pass. they outlined it on paper in percy's bedroom. typed up a final draft using sally's laptop. and printed out and laminated it at the local library on their two month anniversary. and they abide by it like it's the law.
