bucky barnes as a husband headcanon!

heavily inspired by my steve headcanons here, I wanna try my hand at writing more of james. he is the epitome of devotion, he falls first and falls hard.

this kind of takes part in an alternative au (think avengers are still together but its post the falcon and the winter soldier)

he is canonically good at cunnilingus

you think I’m joking? This man divulges into a rabid animal the second he gets close to your thighs. He is on his knees whilst your pressed up against the counter rubbing his face against your clothed crotch moaning and grinding in the air

you can never get used to how intense bucky just..stares at you. Every single moment of the day you'll just catch him watching you silently not saying a word. It wasn't creepy, no it had this protective almost darkness to it that was all consuming. At one of Tony’s parties, he’s watching you across the room with a glass in his hand or mysterious and shit. (probably thinking about when is a polite time to leave)

which is never because bucky just drags you both out of every gathering. Every goodbye is an Irish one

lets you cut his hair when it gets to the point of covering his eyes. Sometimes his stubble too, thumb circling and grazes your thigh as you lean over him with a scalpel.

most of the team are still gobsmacked at how bucky justs..trusts you. Whether it be with a shaving, or jumping out of a corner. If any of the team tried to pull a knife on bucky he would probably (not) accidentally break their jaw

after missions all the Avengers know he’ll be offline for at least a couple days to be with you. What they don’t discuss is half of those days are fucking you bruised. He gets all pent up and irritated when he isn’t around you, it’s like you recalibrate his mood back to baseline regular bucky when he can finally sink into you.

You're twirling your hips, Bucky is leaning against the countertop, half trussing the chicken and the other watching you when he suddenly stops. You don't notice it at first, until he cocks his head to the side, kind of blinks and moves to turn the saucepan on low. You turn to him, and he grabs for one of the kitchen knives on the bench before reaching for you.

"there's someone in the backyard"

all nonchalant, like it had been a burrowing animal stuck under the floorboards. he motions for you to continue, turns up the record player a bit and walks into the backyard without a sound.

this man is touch starved, of course he is cock warming after. each and every time.

one of the things bucky loved about you is at ease he felt, he could talk to you and spill everything out in a way he never could with dr raynor or even steve.

there was a bit of distance from him when he first met you, he was awestruck, even more silent than he usually was. Just stared at you longingly, standing off to the side. he didn’t think he could be anything but feared, it genuinely got to the point where you thought he didn't like you or that you had done something wrong. when steve had told him this, he nearly died. no, i'd like to think he's heart stopped for a couple seconds seriously. than got up from fainting, took you aside, and kissed you against the back of sarah's backyard door on the fourth of july.

stations a few target practice posts in your backyard. teaches you how to shoot, chest pressed up against your back as he helps move your body in the right position. always make sure you know where the weapons are in the house

singing to records whilst he's cleaning said weapons at the table

takes you to all the places still standing he remembers in Brooklyn, you hold his hand and let him rest against your shoulder when the past gets caught in his throat.

Steve finds a place in the city with actual good music, where people actually dance, and it becomes your spot every Friday.

yeah, one thing bucky remembers would be his muscle memory of the dance floor, he’s goooood. Teaches you everything he knows in your kitchen of course, always ends up with you making out on top of each other though

dry humping like teenagers, bucky with his low hanging jeans, not wearing boxes and making a mess just from the taste of your mouth

actually, sometimes breaks down in tears when he realises you’re his wife. Like forever.

always thinking about you, what you're doing, if you've eaten. even if hes in the middle of recon you will be in the back of his mind.

leans over and loops his dog tags around your neck whenever he leaves for missions. kisses your eyelids when your sleeping and the fight calls him

the second time you and bucky visited Wakanda he had Shuri craft the ring to be fused into his vibranium finger..yeah I know.

bucky isn’t the extroverted talking type, but with you he is constantly just yapping..about anything and everything. Following you around the house like a puppy, coming to you for the answers about the new world and questions he always harboured even before the ice

bucky is hilarious, he's already an adonis, but he could laugh you of your pants

can’t bear fighting with you, he never yells. He just kind of goes quiet and takes a walk

you guys live in a house with a huge backyard and a wraparound porch

loves cooking, lets him turn his mind off sometimes and make you something hearty and warm. he has a frilly gingham patterned apron he wears and his curls are wrapped into a bun with your scrunchie. floor always ends up on his cheek, and you always end up on the kitchen bench with his mouth on you

night terrors had him sleeping in a sleeping bag next to the bed, he refused despite your attempts. Sometimes he'd wait till you fell asleep against him and make the heartbreaking quiet separation and sleep on the floor

sometimes likes to take of his arm around the house, especially sleeping. Keeps it near in case though, for you.

he’s thick everywhere…took an hour of foreplay minimum to get you ready for him. You both will never get used to each other, needing to take a moment of hushed gasps and groans when he first sinks in

the wedding was in Sams backyard in Delacroix, just Sam, Sarah, the kids and Yoshi and the team

Wind (Wind Waker/Phantom hourglass). Other Nicknames: The Sailor, Pirate, The baby (hates this), Guppy (hates this as well), Island boy, Ocean child.

Hero’s Title: Hero of the Great Sea, Hero of the Winds, Hero of the Great Sea, Holder of the Wind Waker

God that has claim over his soul: Hylia (for the wisdom to actually find the pieces of the triforce)

Part of First’s soul: Childish Wonder (smallest piece).

History:

Link lived on an island with his sister and grandmother, and had a peaceful life like everyone in the great sea. He was given a green tunic when he turned 12, much to his annoyance. However his sister Aryll was kidnapped on his birthday, taken by a bird monster and he joins up with a pirate by the name of Tetra to get her back.

Through trying to get his sister back he learns that the Gerudo King Ganondorf is back, hunting for the Triforce, the Red king of the seas asks Link to take up the mantle of the hero. To which the young boy does, to make the seas safe for his family. He later learns the man’s reason, a place for his people; however he still tries to kill the hero and the princess. They actually succeed and plan to start another hyrule.

However This plan gets put on the back burner when Tetra and Link run across a ghost ship and Tetra goes missing, causing Link to start another adventure. Link get’s the phantom hourglass and a fairy and they go through the palace of the ocean king. He saved the great seas from the parasite known as Bellum and was finally able to go back home.

Death: Unknown…

Interesting Stuff/Headcanons:

has a sailor mouth from living around pirates. Others don’t let him swear (like grandma) but Time does.

The best thing to heal him is his grandmother’s soup. The chain learns how to cook it when they visit the Great Sea.

Link has a good sense of direction, to the point of it being scary. He doesn’t even need a map; it's like the wind tells him where to go.

Wind deals with a lot of self-doubt, he wasn’t born with the triforce of Courage, he had to find it and put it together unlike Tetra. So, he often feels like a fake.

He looks up to Time, since he was the hero of Time who once defeated Ganondorf, plus he also doesn’t treat Wind like he will break at any moment.

The others have a habit of jumping in to protect him, mainly because he reminds many of them of themselves of when they first started their adventures.

Wind actually prefers sandals since he lives on an island, but that’s not considered ‘proper shoes for combat’.

Wind cannot control his expression, whether in sneaking around or in combat, he cannot keep a poker face, which of course makes him terrible at keeping secrets.

Link has no concept of ‘personal items’ he grew up sharing stuff with his sister and then a pirate ship, everything is fair game, unless said otherwise or you're wearing it.

Anything he finds is worn as jewelry until he can get back home, to which the treasure is given to Aryll and Grandma.

He is actually really good with seagulls, I mean it’s not like his sister Aryll, but he can easily feed them without them getting startled.

He’s a great swimmer; however, his legs can get tired from a lot of walking, especially rocky paths, he doesn’t tell the group this.

No concept of ‘oh that’s dangerous’ will happily be shot out of a canon for the laughs.

Wind doesn’t have any piercing even though he wants to, any jewelry is limited to necklaces and ear wraps. 

Letters are a big comfort to Wind, as sometimes he panics that Aryll is missing, or grandma is sick again. The letters remind him that everything is fine.

Wind will fall into his big brother persona; he immediately will fuss others despite bringing the youngest of the group.

Besides looking up to Time, Wind also looks up to War, he doesn’t know why.

Koroks seems to really like Wind, he considered them his friends, Time doesn’t like the Koroks staying around or Wind going after them.

He cannot stand the cold because of growing up on an island. He’s in multiple layers or stealing others' scarves to keep warm.

Wind loves music, especially sea shanties, you will not know peace if one gets stuck in his head.

He knows how to shoot guns; he has one from Tetra and knows how to make ammo for it. It’s just very, very loud and he doesn’t like it.

He is slowly getting use to them and even started to build interesting items of his own.

He will correct anyone if they refer to Tetra as Zelda, since she prefers the name Tetra.

Wind loves fruit sense you can only really get them on islands, they are his favorite thing to snack on.

Wind sometimes realizes how stupid enemies can be, meaning he will sneak around them when others are planning something.

He is the most likely to do his own thing in battle and give the others heart attacks in the process.

The soul piece of the hero’s spirit is the smallest in Wind, it was the childlike wonder of the god, something the god couldn’t have a lot of considering his first life.

Because of this Wind doesn’t get the full burning in his chest that others might. But he does get the call to adventure.

Thank you so much for asking! I’m going to say something wild - that it’s fine if you understand the risks and agree to the conditions. Sorry for writing an essay about the conditions, but it interested me a lot - I want to welcome this spirit, and am also conscious that published authors don’t do this (however, I don’t want their job.)

Long story short: you can, but it’s not legally advisable, but fuck it, we ball.

Grownups share toys, and Killie exists to be rotated - and, when he achieves sufficient velocity, thrown briskly into an obstacle. Sharing this burden with others pleases me. I’ve already said an emphatic GO AHEAD to fanart and AU fanfic, so worrying about this too much would be a case of shutting the barn door after the horse has eaten it. We do a lot of riffing and yes-anding each other, which is the ENTIRE fun of talking about Killie, and is the ONLY reason he’d get a book anyway. And my approach to intellectual property is more collaborative-Goncharov than the inciting published-authors-shouldn’t-read-fic-incident (1990s drama with Marion Zimmer Bradley.)

Killie’s intended to have a little self-published, non-commercial book that isn’t written yet. If I was already planning to do something similar to your ideas, it might lead to awkwardness for both of us. I’m not saying it would - we are too mature and kind - but that’s the risk I don’t want you to take unknowingly. I do mean to create 1 piece of fixed canon material (plan for that here), for which I plan to charge sufficient money to reimburse the cost of the editor I plan to hire for it. So you would have to decide whether you’d like to risk your headcanon being canon. I will say upfront that there is zero risk of Killie being commercially viable (CAN YOU IMAGINE) so there’s no chance of anyone (including myself) getting paid for anything; it’s more about the idea of intellectual property. Your headcanons belong to you, and by kindly sharing them with someone who hasn’t written the canon yet, you risk a lot more than someone writing about a closed, distant work.

You don’t need approval or permission for headcanons. You don’t need approval from anybody to enjoy them.

Of course, half the pleasure of sharing headcanons is sharing them for connection and communication ARGH.

It would be great if you could share them somewhere else, without worrying about me being involved, but Killie’s entire fandom is the 20 of us, currently housed here, in my living room.

(My version/AU) Finn!!! Our favorite pun-making pal… Remember these r just my headcanons and you don't have to agree! ^_^

Also I'm so sorry the cartoon vers looks worse than my usual ones 😭😭😭🙏... I forgot how to draw it since I got rusty and didn't reference my past ref sheets LOL. why does he have fingers 💔🙁. Opposed to many other Toons, Finn is not very complex; outside of his strange physical properties. Finn is a Toon made of glass and filled with water, with biological fins and webs, as well as a fish tail. The glass is flexible, bendy, yet still somewhat fragile and breakable. Unlucky for him, he is clumsy, and prone to falling and hitting things, causing him to crack and require fixing. And after the Handlers leave, it becomes a real responsibility- he can't FIX glass... so a crack is a real danger to his well-being. It's made him more nervous to do the things he likes, and be as hyper as he usually is, because he knows one day... it won't just be a crack. And a bandaid won't be enough to fix it. But hey, as long as there's water to refill him, he can't really die or anything silly like that. Right??? ...Finn loves all things aquatic or semi-aquatic, and dreams of nothing more but to be able to swim in the ocean! Unfortunately, he is too heavy to swim, as he just... sinks. In result, he must wear a life jacket and floaties when around water or when "going swimming"...so he floats instead of sinking... but that's not really swimming, is it? :( He is a joyous Toon, whether he's nervous about his glass body or not. He loves to make puns, he loves to be around his friends and talk to everyone about everything!! And by everything, of course I mean everything aquatic. Fish, sea plants, water itself, but especially the fish. Who could not like something that breathes water? I mean, it's just SO cool!!!!! It doesn't really matter if Toons don't understand his puns all the time. He gets them, and he loves them!! As his head is shaped like a fish bowl, and he has such love for fish, of course he had to get a pet fish! And they're always together, of course. Chancey is his best friend, a beautiful and intelligent gold fish! Except for when she tries to swim down his throat. That isn't as fun. But hey, of course there's always risks with his body! He could never hold it against Chancey. (Also, I know he has a toy fish in canon with a pre-existing name, but, I forgot about it while working on him for the AU/MV, and I like Chancey too much to change it now!) I don't know what else to put here, besides that he's forgetful (unlike Chancey!), and uhm... have a reel fin-tastic day?

killer sans and horror sans.

a simple headcanon.

trigger warning: eating disorders.

canonically, killer does not eat food. this was confirmed by rahafwabas in a qna. he does not like ketchup because it reminds him too much of his old self, the more "sans" version of himself. the monster side of his soul. he does not like chocolate because it reminds him too much of chara/the player. the human side of his soul. (but, of course, rahafwabas is okay with you letting him like... whatever you want him to like.)

how does he get around not eating? resets, if i recall. you dont need to eat if your whole day restarts, anyway, right? restoring you to your original condition?

then youve got horror sans. where his whole au is starving and is barely surviving. in the fanon utmv where killer and horror join nightmare's group, i do think these two share a sort of bond that is not shared with everyone else.

killer does not have a wide emotional range due to his soul stages and overall suppression. emotions overwhelm him. but, i do think horror would be an unexpected, quiet support system for the boy.

killer can only reset his au/timeline. he cannot reset the multiverse. so killer needs to eat whether he wants to or not whenever he is not within his au/timeline.

now, killer and horror do not start off as close. honestly, i highly doubt the two of them are compatible due to their conflicting personalities.

but.

horror, after a while of living there, starts to notice things. he starts to notice how killer doesn't eat, either by teleporting it away or just... downright refusing, hiding his reluctance by insulting whatever chef with that uneasy grin on his face.

eventually, i imagine it would come to a point where it becomes too much. having a high lv is one thing, but killer still canonically only has one hp. he cannot survive for long by neglecting his basic needs.

when horror firsts discovers the severity of killer's condition, i imagine he force feeds killer. just something so he wont lose that singular number on his hp bar.

not out of care or respect for killer. but simply because thats just.... how it is. for horrortale, food is more important than anything. and horror... is objectively not a bad person.

killer, after this, proceeds to flat-out ignore and avoid horror as much as he can. because horror saw him in a raw state of vulnerability. he eventually gives up on avoiding horror since, well, in this fanon depiction, they go on missions together. theyre forced to be around each other.

horror always makes sure he eats, but not when others are around. so i imagine that the less observant members of the crew dont even realize that horror is a quiet--or violent?--support system for killer.

he reminds killer. has a schedule for killer.

unlike killer, horror cant die. so even if killer were to fight back... it would essentially be futile.

eventually, after a long period of back and forth struggle,, it becomes almost habit for horror to always be around killer at a designated time. two or three times a day. quietly reminding killer to eat.

and eventually... killer gives in.

(note: in my head this happens across several years. also im sleep deprived so none of this probably makes sense. also im intentionally leaving out descriptions of emotional reactions and rather focusing on actions because im too tired to think of the actual emotional conflicts. so ill leave that one to your imagination.)

i don’t think theres much he wouldn’t try at least one time if you wanted to, but no piss kink. it grosses him out and he wants nothing to do with it

O = Oral (preference in giving or receiving, skill, etc.)

prefers giving! he gets plenty of pleasure just from pleasing you and if he does get a blowjob he’ll be happy but if not it doesn’t bother him too much

P = Pace (are they fast and rough? slow and sensual? etc.)

canon aemond isn’t very into the idea of something else other than him giving you pleasure, that’s his job. but modern aemond? whew that’s a different story

aemond doesn’t really tease you too much, but he likes it when you tease him, although he’d never admit it

V = Volume (how loud they are, what sounds they make, etc.)

not too loud, he mostly grunts and groans. trying to keep it down so that he can hear your moans rather than his own

W = Wild card (a random headcanon for the character)

some days he prefers you taking charge and babying him, he feels such a weight taken off his shoulders knowing you’re there for him

X = X-ray (let’s see what’s going on under those clothes)

he’s hung, like it’s fucking huge

Y = Yearning (how high is their sex drive?)

higher than you’d expected, but just above average

Z = Zzz (how quickly they fall asleep afterwards)

he forces himself to stay awake until he hears your soft snores, he doesn’t like going to sleep knowing you’re still awake

Vegimals : Biology and Culture Of Sirens !! ====================

WHOOOOOOOO THE BABIESSSSS OOOOOO!!! Fair warning, this is gonna get long, lolll (also, I am praying this doesn't flop because I worked very hard on this and am super proud of it 😅)

THE VEGIMALS' BASICS:

The Vegimals, as we all know, are funky little fish-vegetable creatures adopted and raised by (mainly) Shellington, and of which there are many. According to the Wiki, there are 16 (not including Vegi-Bot), but for the purpose of simplicity (or not knowing), most people tend to stick to the main five: Tunip, Barrot, Tominnow, Codish, and Grouber

Personally, I believe they all exist, but for continuity reasons and simplicity, as stated previously, anything canon to my AU will only include the main five.

THE VEGIMALS' BIOLOGY (MY AU):

I have always had a fascination with monsters, cryptids, and mythology, but by far, my favorite genre of mythological/folkloric creatures are sea creatures; leviathans, mermaids, and for my Octonauts AU, ✨️sirens !✨️

My vegimals are sirens (the idea came from their humming/song in the show), more specifically Abyssal Sirens, the most aggressive, territorial, and dangerous type of siren due to the harsh conditions of their home/ecosystem. Why? Because I can use it for juicy D R A M A !!

[According to the speculative biology of my AU, there are sirens born and bred for each level of depth in the sea. Epipelagic (Sunlight), Mesopelagic (Twilight), Bathypelagic (Midnight), Abyssopelagic (The Abyss), & Hadalpelagic (The Trenches). Sirens are too complex a species to live in the Hadalpelagic, and resources are too slim for even them, a highly adaptable species.]

Anywho, much of the basic design parts of their biology are in the drawings, but not how they would live in a world, so here that is ! -------------

The Vegimals are amphibious, and therefore can breathe on both land and underwater, but in a more specialized way where they have gills specifically made for each place to get their oxygen from. Because of these specialized gills, they can spend as long as they'd like on either side, as long as their primarily "made-for-salt-water" skin is moisturized. It is a part of the daily care routine that Shellington has for them --- regardless of whether or not they have a mission that day, Shellington will take the Vegimals out to swim and rejuvenate their skin/scales for at least an hour a day. Another part of this routine is a daily scrub/grooming (cleaning) of their scales, although Shellington doesn't have to do much work anymore as the Vegimals get older and learn to groom themselves . . . Except for Tominnow, she's still too small to get that much needed deep clean. Both Shellington and Codish (who I headcanon is closer to her than the other vegimals) will help her out. ☺️

They (sirens) are a species built perfectly for the hunt, using their highly advanced vocal cords and a pheromone secreted during the process of "singing" to lure in their prey. The Vegimals have a natural instinct to sing/hum when "catching" food, AKA, when they are cooking/baking. The Octopod is always filled with their chipper song when the time to eat rolls around.

But cal, the vegimals aren't man-eating monsters. What's that about? 🤔

Well, according to the speculative biology of my AU, and as stated before, sirens are very adaptable creatures and can alter their own genetic makeup in a matter of weeks. This is why the vegimals do not look or act very threatening, although those basic instincts are still in their little bodies deep down. Newborn sirens are extremely clingy, as they need to learn how to live through observation. They learned to be kind and helpful from their papa, Shellington, who is their primary caretaker, and the other Octonauts --- but will always have their base instincts, that's something they can't adapt out of. They just don't pose much of an issue in their day to . . . very often. 😈

Sirens, due to their adaptability, can function in both solitude and company. Young spend around a year together, learning from their mother. The vegimals never had any need to separate after maturity (they are roughly pre-teens at this point and are of that age in the present time of my AU) so they stuck together, continuing to follow the lead of their father figure . . . Aaaaand, their leader.

Leader? Who?

Why, Tunip, of course (along with Shellington and Barnacles, but more-so Tunip)! Sirens, when grouped together, form a hive-minded semi-hierarchical social structure, where the strongest and smartest of the group will act as the "queen bee." The leader of the group will make most of the decisions concerning shelter, food, and the safety of the group, but for anything else, it is a group effort.

Sirens are an omnivores species who will eat what all that is available to them. And that means everything is on the table. Think of them as the pigs, raccoons, or even the vultures of the ocean --- they will hunt, forage, or scavenge for what they need, and with keen senses like spectacular vision, smell, hearing, and speed, they are very good at providing for themselves, once they've learned to do so (and they learn quickly, so is the way of the ocean).

here’s a bunch of miscellaneous ones I was able to think of over the course of today :3 (in no particular order and a mix of modern and canon compliant and muggle and every au LMAO)

I’ve talked about this before but barty has separation anxiety and can’t sleep without holding/being held by evan

Barty’s love language is physical touch and evan’s is quality time so they’re completely inseparable they’re always together

Barty is always touching evan in some way whether it be a hug, or holding his hand, or an arm around his shoulder or waist, or resting a hand on his arm or cuddling or wtv else

They know each other inside and out and so completely they can have full conversations just looking at each other not talking

they both hate crying in front of other people and do it extremely rarely but when it’s just the 2 of them they start sobbing at literally anything super easily

evan fell first (started crushing on barty all the way back in first year) and barty fell harder (realized all at once one day in sixth year after years of feelings subconsciously piling up and had a mega crash out to dorcas about it)

Their fav dates are when they just sit in bed and cuddle and watch movies and eat snacks and yap about wtv they’re watching cause they’re both massive nerds

evan loves pineapple pizza and barty despises it and refuses to try it on principle (italian) (he’ll never ever admit it but he tried it once and actually thinks it’s the best creation in all of ever) (evan knows this and teases him about it)

They’re disgustingly affectionate and everyone hates them for it /hj

Barty’s name in evan’s phone is “pain in the ass (love of my life 💛)” and evan’s name in barty’s phone is “my angel 🖤”

They have like ten billion matching tattoos/tattoos dedicated to each other <3333

barty calls evan evie, ev, rosie, angel, sweetheart, love, darling, my love, my rose, babe, he hardly ever calls evan by his actual name, only when the topic/situation is very very serious

evan uses bartys name a lot more (and by that I mean barty and not bartemius cause I hc that Barty never EVER uses his full name cause he hates it sm and even gets it legally changed as an adult), but he also call him bee, bat, baby, darling, mon amour

they have a cat w the most outrageously complicated name ever + like 4 reptiles (a ball python, 2 crested geckos and a chameleon methinks (?))

they have a bio daughter (transmasc evan truther here!!! <3) and she’s 2 years younger than luna (and best friends w her)

way way later down the line (when their daughter is 16) they adopt 2 other kids cause barty always had a dream of adopting and/or fostering to get kids out of shitty home life situations like his

(their kids are like fully formed ocs in my brain (except for names cause I suck at naming ocs,,,,,,,) but that’s the base of my happy au family hc for them)

they live in hogsmeade cause barty teaches history of magic at hogwarts (I still can’t decide what Evan does tho probably cause I project so stupidly heavily on to him and I can’t choose a career for myself but shhhhhhhhh)

extremely self-indulgent but evan’s a massive massive Pokémon fan and has been since he was like 9 and into all the aspects (cards, games, manga, anime, etc) whearas barty never was super interested but then evan started convincing him to open packs together and barty got sucked in through the powerful forces of gambling addiction

they’re both super into art (barty likes pottery and any kind of abstraction, evan likes pencil sketching and acrylic landscapes and they both like spraypainting)

I just scrolled back up after writing that last one and holy shit that’s a lot of yapping 💀😭

i like them a super normal amount I promise (could keep going for much much much longer)

True Happiness Headcanons

pairing — Aegon II Targaryen x Handmaid! Reader

author's note — hello again, lovelies! this was going to be a two-parter but i decided to condense it down into one post. it wasn't realy as long as i though it was lol but, it involves the different headcanons of their lives from when they first met all the way into the bits of their lives that i didn't really touch on in the original parts. i have plans for a more canon version of aegon soon and it will be a very dark fic overall. so i hope you enjoy these little fluffy tidbits!!

ADOLESCENCE

Once Aegon trusted her, he started teaching her Valyrian in attempt to be able to speak to one another throughout the Keep without word getting back to Otto or his mother

Sure, his siblings could slightly understand what they spoke of but, there was no need to eavesdrop on something that was working

Aegon loves his hair being played with whether it’s just fingers combing through the strands or braids being plaited into small sections before gently being pulled apart

There has been a few times that he has fallen asleep with his head in her lap in the early days of them being close to one another

More open to one another, she taught Aegon how to braid hair so at the end of the day when they debrief about their days, she would play with his hair as he talked and he would braid her hair as she spoke

On rough days, she would read aloud or recite stories that her mother and father would tell her when she was young

Aegon would hoard his snacks that he would collect throughout his scheduled day and have her try some when they are together

When Aegon began to develop feelings for her, he would leave little bundles of dragon’s breath he picked throughout his day on her bed

She started reciprocating by leaving notes and poems in Valyrian under his pillow for him to find when he would rest for the night

Sporadically during the week, Aegon would take his supper in his chambers as a way of innocently courting her despite the differences in their statuses

She was the one to help Aegon with cutting his hair when the length began to bother him; the braided strands of cut hair are hidden away as a souvenir in her bedroom chambers

ADULTHOOD

Aegon is a giver in every sense of the word

He always tries to take care of her like how she takes care of him

He enjoys the warm feeling in his belly every time he saw her smile or laugh

Every few nights, Aegon would sneak them away to the pit for an evening ride on Sunfyre

The older they get, the more everyone began to notice how much he’s changed

He stopped picking on Aemond; 

He was able to maneuver things around for Helaena to marry Aemond; 

She would help him in her free time to catch insects to deliver to Helaena at the end of the day

They all begin to appreciate each other more

On days where there isn’t anything scheduled for them, picnics were organized for all of them in the Godswood and when Daeron is visiting from Oldtown, he is along for the trip

It’s the smallest things he does for them and they love how much he’s matured 

Aemond has thanked aegon for helping his betrothal

Alicent has walked in on them on multiple occasions

 She found them cuddled up on the couch him asleep and her playing with his hair; 

During a festival in the streets, she’s witnessed them dancing to the music and cheers that could be heard from the windows

Aegon has talking to Rhaenyra not long before their marriage as a way to bridge the gap between them

Rhaenyra’s shock receiving his letters wore off when she read that he had fallen in love with his handmaid and he planned to wed her much like she and daemon did

He offers Rhaenyra’s children sanctuary if Alicent or Otto ever tried to change the succession; this was his way of trying to ensure that he has no ill will towards her and her family anymore

She has them do their  wedding at Dragonstone under Valyrian tradition

Aegon uses a refitted ring of his for her to wear as a sign of marriage and he purposefully wears only one ring on his left hand

After the fight in her solar, Alicent still tries to force a betrothal upon Aegon

It immediately fails as every one of the betrothal letters Alicent sent out are either met with no response or word of outrage that she would try to arrange a second marriage; worried about another Maegor situation

Eventually, Alicent starts to love and respected Aegon the way that she does with her other children

Aegon didn’t instigate the nephews during that family dinner

Otto has tried to manipulate her but she’s far too aware of his games for his liking (gaslight, gatekeep, girlboss)

FAMILY

She became pregnant not long after their wedding and Aegon quietly announces the news to a select few people; in person: Aemond, Helaena and Alicent, by letter: Rhaenyra during a regular correspondence he has with her

After learning the news, Alicent starts to make an effort to know her and help her with what she needs as a way to make amends

Aegon handling her pregnancy like a pro 

Constantly he was catering to her every need and trying to make her comfortable

He always tried to make sure she didn’t get hurt while doing the few chores that she wanted to do (she comes from a long line of headstrong women who will not let a pregnancy stop them from doing what needs to be done)

He usually ended up just helping her with what she needed to do 

When it came time for their first born, Baelon, to make his appearance, she kicked out all of the maids and Maesters demanding only for Aegon to stay

Of course, he was well out of his depths but she tried to prep him the best she could the last several days leading up to the birth

Baelon was born with no complications with only his parents in the room and was never away from his mother despite the disgruntled protests that she used a nursemaid for the baby boy

Shortly after his birth, they set up a more secure and secretive correspondence between them and her family in hopes that if the time comes and Otto does something stupid, they could safely flee to hid away

Alicent is definitely a better grandmother than she was a mother

She routinely sets up for long relaxing midday activities for all her grandchildren so, she can spend time with them and the little cousins can grow together while their parents can relax worry-free

There’s 2 children who were born before they fled: Baelon & Alysanne. Once they settle on the homestead, they have twin girls: Laera and Rhaela with one more boy, Aerion

The children are raised with equal love from their parents and are raised under the belief that although they are technically royalty, they will learn to be kind and considerate of those around them

Raised to put the work into what they want just like their mother was raised before she left to work at the Red Keep

The Boys are strong but not emotionally stunted. They are taught that emotions are okay to have and apart of who they are

No toxic masculinity bullshit

The girls are taught to defend and protect themselves. They are physically strong and can use any weapon they can get their hands on if they need to

THE DANCE OF THE DRAGONS

The second they get to the Dornish marshlands, Aegon dyes his hair brown to hide better (brunette! Aegon all the way)

Once they settled on the family homestead, it didn’t take long for Aegon to fit in with her family

He actually quite likes the hard work that the family does everyday to make sure that everything runs smoothly

Aegon still keeps in regular contact with his family whether it be his siblings or even Rhaenyra; he always tries to maintain some semblance of what is happening with them as he escapes the plan that was to be forced upon him

When the plan Otto sets in place happens with Aemond as the usurper, they coordinate for all of the children from both his full siblings and half sibling to be safely hidden away on the homestead to prevent any possible bloodshed of the innocent

The plan went into effect too late as Lucerys was brutally killed on accident

As much as it pained Rhaenyra that she lost her children, she is happy that she can now safely know that they are away from this disaster

As a sign of thanks, Rhaenyra sent some of Syrax’s eggs so that Aegon’s children had a chance at being a dragon rider like their cousins

The Dance did not last long with Aemond as the usurper since he had no real standing like Aegon, first born son, or Rhaenyra, first born and declared heir

The Dance was more of a fight between councils and not nearly as bloody as canon

Once Otto was found to be the one pulling the strings, he was sentenced to death and the Targaryen children by Alicent bent their knee at Rhaenyra being the true Targaryen heir after Viserys

yoichi likes to wake up earlier than you. there is a certain feeling of seeing you under the dim light of dawn, bundled in a blanket and facing towards him. his eyes are still heavy, of course, but looking at your face—you could be drooling, snoring, or squishing it against the pillow—and all of sudden his brain is fuzzy mush full of cotton. it's a bit embarrassing, but having that routine every morning really makes him ready for anything.

rin is the type of person who never uses emojis when he chats. actually, you are lucky if you get a reply that is more than five words. but if you are creative enough, you might get a heart or sad face emoji from him. middle finger, if you are unlucky. don't screenshot it or spread the heart emoji to his teammates though. baby boy has a reputation to keep.

sae will honestly let you do anything you want, most of the times. might judge you loudly through a silent stare, yes—but if anyone tried to do anything funny or, god forbid, hurt you, the question is whether it was worth angering him or not. the answer is always no, by the way, this guy is pretty brutal in his wording already. getting him pissed with you involved is just asking for a mental scarring.

meguru has this habit of leaving a trace of you or himself in each other belongings. his shoes? oh, yeah one of the shoes' shoelaces actually belongs to yours, he switched it the moment you bought it. your phone case? look at that, his sign and photos! he also got yours in his by the way—will show it off daily and speaks to it after a prolonged vitamin u deficiency.

I've decided to post my stalkers and cryptids headcanons (but about the individual first)

(also fyi, these are my own for my soulmate au)

Starting with Bernard:

• He's the oldest of the four and an only child.

• Im making him half mexican on his mothers side just cause i can (and because I'm Mexican-American)

• he's majoring in culinary arts and physics and minoring (is that a word?) in restaurant management. In canon he's majoring in physics. (Do i know anything about college? Hell no! Am i gonna pretend to know even though Google is free? Yup!)

• he played baseball growing up. I don't know why but he just gives me those vibes.

• He understands and reads Spanish more than he can speak it.

• hes gay/cis and uses he/him

• Bernard learned cooking through his mom and whenever his grandma came over he'd cook with her. When she passed, she gave all her recipes to him.

• 100% conspiracist, through and through. If given the chance, or has any time, he would go to haunted locations or locations where bigfoot is like how unsolved did.

• he hates it when someone insults his food when they don't have any basis to judge. If it's because of personal preference, yeah fine, whatever. Food aversion? Perfectly understandable. But then if they start calling his food "the worst thing they've tasted" then hes throwing hands

• he learned how to skateboard through tim and 100% down to get a piercing after seeing Danny in them.

• he still has his journal where he wrote his dreams whenever he dreamt of the others and has it somewhere safe. Sometimes, he'll go back and reread some of the entries.

• He expresses his love by cooking with the others. Whether it be just them chilling on the counter just chopping vegetables or them trying to learn how to cook a simple meal with him, he loves it.

• whenever one of his partners is stressed or just not feeling well, he'll cook them their favorite meal. Even if it's for multiple days.

• he's the big spoon! He loves cuddling his boyfriends and tracing circles on the back of their hands or on their backs.

• he's not a "i can fix them" partner, he's a "i want to see what chaos they do, but also take care of them as they try to dominate the world." Partner.

it’s not inherently mischaracterization to write hms gore what matters is the way you do it. gore is a tool that can be amazing or horrible just like any other depending on the execution. pun. gore is not necessarily more shallow than anything else. no one is going around saying ‘stop writing fluff that’s shallow and only meant to make you feel good’, so why does this apply to gore? if this sounds either biased or targeted, that’s because it is :)

less briefly:

yes, gore can stem from Nothing, or mischaracterization. it can also stem from traits that the character has.

sure maybe ‘soul STABS MIND 3000 TIMES IN THE CHEST because ???? uh why not’ is a bad usage of gore, but consider ‘soul stabs mind to punish him for doing something minor (because he is desperate for heart and mind to stop their fights at all costs, and feels as if he has no power, and feels as if the only way to gain power is by making them afraid of him)’.

maybe this doesn’t fit with your specific idea of soul, but there is still character depth there.

what mischaracterization even MEANS is dependent on person to person, because, you know, PEOPLE GET DIFFERENT THINGS FROM THIS ALBUM, and they INTERPRET THE CHARACTERS DIFFERENTLY. additionally, what seems like ‘mischaracterization’ can just be what the author thinks they would react like when placed into a situation, which can be incredibly different from how they usually act! for example, both of my aus are based on how i think the characters would react whenever placed into situation x

(with maybe their characters tweaked a little, which is fine sometimes as long as you aren’t going to claim it’s canon. it’s fine to have headcanons. it’s fine to have different versions of hms(w) that aren’t specifically au. and people who are mad about it - which is a group that may include me, sometimes, i am aware - can be mad! and that doesn’t mean you’re wrong and that doesn’t mean you have to get out the ukelele and be like i’m sorry for having fun with the characters (when you Should be having fun with the characters and if you aren’t then maybe. stop?))

and in my aus they are incredibly different from canon hms! which isn’t a bad thing, it is the point!

anyway you aren’t morally bad for talking about the characters without cited sources. (the annoying part is whenever you act like you /are/ being objectively correct, and right about everything, whenever you’re clearly Doing Shit To Them (also sometimes maybe consider making an oc and whether that would be more fun than saying it’s hms. however you aren’t. morally corrupt. for not making an oc. it’s fine))

(again please don’t say people are morally corrupt for being wrong about the characters. they aren’t. it’s annoying but it’s not bad morally, and they don’t need to get hosed down for it. It’s Fine)

again, compare ‘heart and mind snuggle and don’t argue ever because ???? why not’ and ‘heart and mind snuggle and don’t argue ever because they’ve resolved their conflict, and don’t feel like they need to anymore’ (an attempt to keep the level of fluff while adding a reason- though i admit i’m not good at writing pure fluff), or ‘heart and mind snuggle and don’t argue ever because they’re tired of the pain and want just one moment of peace’ (something more similar to what i write that keeps bittersweetness/tension there).

if reasonless gore is bad, why isn’t reasonless fluff bad? if reasonless gore is ‘immature’, then isn’t is reasonless fluff also ‘immature’?

sure, maybe one is less shocking or more to your tastes than the other: it’s fine to have preferences. what i don’t agree with is saying one is horrible and the other isn’t.

my opinion is that we should stop saying anything that one writes is morally bad: and if you want to anyway, just keep the complaining (because that’s what this is) to friends you complain with, or discord servers meant for complaining, or complain on your own blog without maintagging it, rather than trying to set these rules of what one should and should not write upon the entire fanbase.

However, it is also called this because they are ideas and - depending on various factors like my schedule, how inspired I am, and how much certain ideas inspire me to write - there is no guarantee I write for every idea, or the same amount for every idea. I’m a fairly new OBM player, so if anything I write is contrary to the canon, please let me know and I can add a note or rectify it. Most of these are meant to be “imagine the character in this situation” and my personal interpretation.
