Okay so I can't stop thinking about a Cloverfield AU where Edgeworth has to save Trudy who's miles across town because she was getting a surprise gift for Phoenix and Edgeworth is the only one who knows where she and the phones are down.

And in this, Trudy doesn't know Edgeworth very well and doesn't like him very much. Put off by how stiff and blunt he can be.

But during the trials of getting back to Phoenix, she sees his other sides, and they bond with Trudy coming to the realization that Edgeworth might actually be the most competent adult in her life. (Like yeah Wright is a great dad because he gives lots of love but he's a bit hopeless sometimes and Trudy often feels like she has the be the gown up)

And like the idea of the conflict and safety that Turdy would have to internally battle with letting Edgeworth just be the adult and make sure she gets home. By the time they find Phoenix (who has a whole journey trying to find her), Trudy basically demands Phoneix marry Edgeworth and won't take any other optional moms or dads.

If by some odd chance they get a good ending where the world isn’t destroyed, I wonder if Trudy and Kelsey would leave Peachyville together. Trudy would want to but I think it’d be a hard sell for Kelsey—her family is there, her students are there, her life is there. They’d want to be together but it’d be so hard for Kelsey to leave and so hard for Trudy to stay

Maybe life doesn’t have to be like this

Maybe life can be like it was, singing Christmas carols with your dad and going to college to pursue your dream of starting a women’s sports league. Maybe life can be with someone who loves and supports you, who doesn’t make you doubt yourself, who doesn’t control you. Maybe life can be the wind in your hair as you become one of the first women to be a professional race car driver, the adrenaline of speeding down the runway, the joy of being free.

Or maybe life is staying inside all day, saying yes to your husband who won’t let you have friends or watch certain tv shows. Maybe life is being forced back into your cage after trying so hard, is failing your son over and over again. Maybe life is playing the part of wife and mother till your grave, is wearing a mask and putting on one grand act till you keel over dead.

Maybe life will always be like this.

I haven’t caught up with the recent eps of peachyville horror, but from what i’ve seen from scrolling on tumblr what i got rn is:

Trudy is a robo lesbian

Mothman is jesus

Tony has gay parents who are cats ???

Francis is a murderous freak and scooped out someone’s eyes and now he has a gun

Tony is bisexual and has connections to the queen of England

There is a new character thats a freak that matt hates

A trans cat boy ran over tony’s parents???? (At least we get more trans representation… i guess?)

I could be COMPLETELY wrong about these but uhhh, yeah…

honestly trudy & timmy's relationship might be one of the most compelling to me out of all the dndads parent/son relationships. there's just something so uniquely awful about it that i can't stop thinking about
