This is a Francis ramble because I am so into his character arc. His view on morals is skewed, probably because he grew up in a household with such a conflicting view on just about everything. Whenever his mom gives him advice she tells him two opposite things that he’s meant to interpret in a way she assumes he’ll understand but clearly doesn’t. And to add on to that people have been doing horrendous things to him his whole life, like Shane making him drink his pee, and it seems pretty safe to assume they got away with it with how openly Shane talks to him in broad daylight. The girl he likes has been pitting them against each other because she thinks it interesting. Nobody in his life has morals that aren’t at least a little skewed, so the second he’s given a taste of power he abuses it just like everyone else in his life, and now he’s feeling guilty about it, but it’s mostly guilt in the sense that from an academic standpoint he’s aware that what he did is really wrong, but he doesn’t register that in an emotional standpoint and the academic probably isn’t going to be enough to stop him in the future. It also makes a lot of sense why he’s so desperate for Trudy to tell him what to do, because she has morals coded into who she is, something he believes he lacks.

Is it normal to eat peaches like apples bc I cut mine into four slices and then eat them and the other day at lunch my friend picks up a peach and just bites into it and my brain literally short circuited it felt surreal. I only started eating peaches two weeks ago so not very educated on the topic.
