Average Hours of Sleep: My sleep schedules changes a lot depending if I’m working or not (as you would probably expect). If I’m working, I’ll usually get anywhere from 4-6 hours of sleep. If I’m off, I usually like to get around 7 hours of sleep, but sometimes I just decide to completely throw my sleeping schedule out the window and just do whatever I feel like.

Dogs or Cats: Oh gosh, IDK. I love both dogs and cats…! ;_; Though I definitely am much more a fan of the smaller dog breeds. They are just so adorable and precious and I love them.

Number of Blankets: One! I HATE being hot when I’m trying to fall asleep, but I also feel really awkward sleeping without any blankets so you know… fun times. I have this one SUPER fluffy blanket that I’ve had since like my junior year of University. Its been quite a few years, but its still super fluffy and I don’t even know what I would do without it. I take it with me literally wherever I travel to because it’s just that comfortable to cuddle up under no matter where I go.

Your best story this year: Adrift, definitely.

Your most popular story of this year:  blended cotton with gannex twill, with 840 hits.

Most fun story to write: greenwood. Posh John Constantine was....a joy. Like it’s hard to reconcile with actual trash disaster blue collar mage Johnny C....AND YET.

Story with the single sexiest moment: mages against literacy is actively embarrassing to me b/c of one line in particular that’s....very much. VERY MUCH. 

Most “holy crap, that’s wrong, even for you” story: lol I don’t think I’ve ever REALLY written anything that dirty/bad/wrong (lj throwback) but -- I did kill off (”kill off”) Chas in mors et fugacem persequitur virum, so that felt bad.

Story that shifted your own perceptions of the characters: I’m probably never going to do anything more with it, but the AU I came up with for a boy with a thorn in his side featured me actually having to think about Kes Dameron as more than just a perfect guy who’s a great dad and a great husband and just generally the best. Like I had to consider where he came from about things and what his personality was and what he could be selfish about. He’s just Such A Good Guy to me it was hard to think of flaws, but man, I did try. 

Hardest story to write: Anything Can Happen (On Halloween)  b/c self-imposed deadlines are the only ones I apparently care about meeting, but they’re also the effing worst.

so something (refer to the song he said suits myday) happened with jae recently and ive seen fans trying to defend him by @ing him and saying that they love him which is fine - great even! but what i dont approve is how everyone’s basically forgotten about the whole matter because they had concerts so instead of @-ing him and asking him to explain himself, they tell him what a great concert it was which is also great bc their concerts are honestly amazing. basically my pet peeve is when ppl dismiss the problematic action of some people just bc they like them.

another thing is that there were some fans who started guilting others for wanting to drop day6 completely because of what jae did and in my opinion i think it is totally cool to want to drop a group if they did smth bad like??? its ur life???? u can choose who you want to like. what is not cool is pulling out all the good things the person has ever done in their entire life and try to remind others about the positive sides of the person. yes. they’re an encouraging person, etc. but that does not cancel out the bad things they’ve done until they explain/apologise. what is infuriating is just the manner some people took it?? they literally went ahead and tweeted shit like “would your parents drop you if you did smth wrong?” and “you’re seriously gonna drop someone whos been nothing been nice because of one incident?” yes. people will and you dont have any fucking right to stop them? so dont go pulling out receipts.

my spider-man: homecoming review.

there will definitely be spoilers under the cut, so do not read onward if you don’t want to be spoiled! this will also be extremely all over the place bc i am a MESS! let’s do this.

cons:

i guess the main one, my only really big complaint (the rest are very minor complaints, if they’re really even ‘complaints’ at all) are the hybrid/out of character type characters. the only one who worked for me was flash. he was fucking brilliant. and while i did adore ned with all my heart, he was ganke, and it makes me sad that miles may not get his ganke if he get films in the future bc ned was ganke. angourie’s betty brant felt wasted, and michelle... oh michelle. i wrote a huge post about her character so i’m not going to repeat myself. you can read it here, but yeah, this is definitely my only huge complaint. if they don’t at least rectify mj i’ll be really sad.

no mention of the spider senses again, or no showing that they really existed either.

no mention of uncle ben whatsoever. you could argue that line about ‘with everything that happened’ or whatever is about him, but it still wasn’t enough for me. i know we’ve seen the origin story so many times, but we need uncle ben. that’s peter’s motivation.

a little disappointed we didn’t get any iconic scenes of spidey web swinging in new york city, but i am still okay with that cause he’s still a high school student in queens and we will prob see him getting into the big city later on.

zendaya was barely in it. i know they kind of used her fame to promote, but they blew up her face on posters, used her for the entire promotional aspect, it almost felt like false advertising? but whatever it just makes me excited to see more of her.

not a huge fan of the ‘guy in the chair’ trope. it reminds me of the flash tv show and i just love how spidey is kind of a lone wolf but i mean this is BARELY a complaint, and just personal pref.

i also have other tiny little insignificant things, but i don’t know if they’re complaints. they might just me being unable to deal with change and i need to learn to adapt to certain things. i am just so set in my ways, and i am so passionate about the things i love that adaptions to certain things kind of catch me off guard a bit, but i’m not sure if it’s necessarily a bad thing.

pros:

tom holland was hands down the best peter parker/spider-man we could ever hope for. toby will always have a place in my heart, even though his adaption was very out of character, and andrew garfield will always be my spidey, just because he really brought it to life for me, but tom... holy shit. he is peter parker. through and through.

when the vulture broke the concrete ceiling down on him and his little panic attack, but then him proving to himself he can do this. that gave me chills. honestly tom knocked it out of the park. his performance was fantastic. when he's in the suit you kind of forget he's a kid. he takes down captain america. he takes down giant man. but in this scene you can see he's just a kid again, who is terrified and doesn't know what he's doing. the absolute fear in his voice fucking shook me. as @lordzuuko pointed out, the nicest touch to tom’s spider-man is that, he’s scared. and because of his age, huge scale situations scare him. he legitimately gets scared and nervous doing some things and voices out “i’m gonna die, i’m gonna die.” he knows he’s gonna die but he does it anyway because if he doesn’t do anything, other people will.

he definitely is the friendly neighbourhood spider-man. we get to see him deal with petty crime. we get to see him be the superhero we know and love; how nothing is too small for him to offer his help. PS: HIM HOLDING THAT CAT KILLED ME I AM SO IN LOVE.

tony wasn’t in it as much as i thought, which was good. i love iron man but i am glad he was only in it for as much as he was, it worked great.

speaking of humour, it was just so fucking funny. and this was actually a worry of mine, that i’d put it in the cons list, cause a lot of reviews i was hearing was that it was too funny and didn’t hit the emotional mark enough. because while spidey is a wise cracking goober, there’s also so much depth in there, and it shows peter’s struggle and his pure goodness and it was just a great balance, but boy was it hilarious. i laughed so much.

him leaving the girl he really liked at the homecoming dance because he had to do something for the greater good. that’s just who peter is. putting his life on the back burner to do the right thing.

guys i know i have been so worried about this movie, and i mean i still am for the future films to come, mainly for the portrayal of mary jane. y’all may think my over emotional ass is overreacting, but she is my favourite character. but all that aside, this is an amazing spidey movie. tom’s portrayal was insane, and i am so incredibly proud of him. he has worked so hard and i am really glad that he’s getting the praise he deserves. i don’t know if i’m just on a high still; maybe i’ll be brought back down to earth and realize it isn’t as great as i think it is right now, but for the time being, i am pretty happy with how it turned out. when i saw civil war i thought that tom could potentially be the best spidey we can get. with only 5 minutes of peter and 15 of spidey, i was already thinking that. so this movie just confirmed my theory.

A- age: Still 19. Turning 20 in July! I know that’s like nothing to most of you here but I realised this morning that this is the first time that I mind turning another decade older. Like, when I turned 10 it was so damn exciting and omg I’m 10 now, I am a big girl and now it’s just like omg no where has all the time gone it’s flying away someone help me I am not ready to be 20 and I feel like this will probably go on like this for the rest of my life, like with every decade that passes. 

B- biggest fears: the big question mark that is my future. What will I do, what will I be, who will I become?

C- current time: 8:01PM

D- drink you last had:  nice cold water :)

E- everyday starts with: the TARDIS. Because that is still my alarm sound. Well, I don’t actually set an alarm every day but most of my days start with the TARDIS ;)

F- favorite song: I hardly ever really have an absolute favourite song but I’d say that the song I currently listen to the most is “Wake the White Wolf” by Miracle of Sound, seriously, they are great ♥♥

G- ghosts, are they real?:  I’ve answered this question multiple times and I could pull out the old story of my friend’s living-room-ghost-sighting again but since I didn’t ever have any supernatural experiences like that, I’d tend more towards no but that really depends on what time of day it is, whether or not I am home alone and what noises I’ve heard in our house. Because sometimes, it might happen that I get doubts. 

H- hometown:  let me just state that originally, I am from Vienna but my family and I moved to a tiny shithole in southern Austria and it’s called Klagenfurt and I bet no one here knows it anyway haha

I- in love with:  my lovely girlfriend @chocolate-and-fandoms ♥ And also, the English language :)

J- jealous of:  people who already know where their lives are going...

K- killed someone: why the fuck would I have? Anyway, that doesn’t mean that I haven’t thought about it xD

L- last time you cried:  I think that must have been last night (or was it the night before?) when I read a post on @jem-scribbles‘ blog about some person being grateful to their dog just having been there as long as they could think and then I thought about the fact that our dog is already quite old and probably won’t live that long anymore and that we’ll soon have to face that gaping hole that his loss will rip into our family and that made me very sad. 

M- middle name: I have two middle names, actually. Sophie & Elisabeth. 

N- number of siblings: One little insufferable brother.

O- one wish:  Well, living together with my girlfriend would be nice! But otherwise, I am quite happy right now, actually. It would be nice if it stopped raining but otherwise...

P- person you called or texted last: called... my mum, I think. And texted, my girlfriend ;)

Q- questions you are always asked: “Do you need the car tomorrow?” xD

R- reasons to smile: various fandom reasons (cute OTPs, funny text posts, great scenes,...) and lovely texts from my girlfriend :)

S- song you last sang: hm, a few minutes ago, I partly sang “Another Round of Gwent” by Miracles of Sound (did I mention that they are great?) and the last song I sang fully was “The Rains of Castamere” from the GoT soundtrack :)

T- time you last woke up: I don’t remember, I didn’t look at the clock. But I guess the last time must have been about 6:00AM this morning...

U- underwear color: dark grey

V- vacation destination: Sadly, Vienna, since I don’t live there anymore... otherwise, Munich to visit my girlfriend and London because I love it, also Italy and I’d really like to see Spain (the city Barcelona) and France (even though my French is really limited by now) and... so much!

W- worst habit: slightly showing off, probably. Sometimes. I wish I could stop it, it’s horrible, I really absolutely despise this about myself.

X- any x-rays: teeth several times, arm... I think that was it but... I kinda feel like there was more?

Y- your favorite food: I don’t really have a favourite, as I’ve said multiple times, I eat everything with a passion. :)

b - biggest fear: Main one is losing family members. I tend to worry about the deaths of others...a lot. And my own death, too. So I guess death in general is another fear of mine. Spiders, bees, and centipedes are big ones; I have SEVERE arachnophobia. There are others. Overall, I'm just...a very anxious person. jaskkssmfm

f - favorite song: Aaaaah...man, it's hard to pick just one. It often changes because I love so many different individual songs and artists. Right now...I'd have to say my favorite song is Rise by Skillet. It's a song speaking out against the violence and terror that's taken over the modern world. It's about 'rising in revolution' and doing something to change our world for the better. The ending is chilling, HEARTBREAKING...but it REALLY drives the point home. Overall, the song is amazing. ❤

g - ghosts, are they real: YES. Without a SHADOW of a doubt. I have had too many bizarre experiences; I'd be lying through my teeth if I said I didn't believe. 👻

what’s your favorite thing to do when you want to chill out and just enjoy yourself? …..a…art…. despite this also being a source of stress… IT’S COMPLICATED OK .....possibly a better answer would be to look at other people’s art, or listen to music. i really don’t know much about music but im extremely grateful to musicians/singers and all the feeling they put into their art. hearing the energy in their words and voices really brings it to life.
