not blaming Lowell as a character but I think his arrival in the show & his popularity as a character is part of the reason why Flight Of The Living Dead is not remembered as one of Liv's most bi-est episodes.
#izombie#what if your old sorority sister died and now you feed bad for banning her because she was so exciting and vibrant#and one time you were sad and you she comforted you and cheered you up and you went skinny dipping in someone's pool together#and you're currently on a journey of realising how you squandered your life and she's a symbol for everything you have missed#and you talk about how she's sucking the marrow out of life while you're eating brains but ur both dead now but you're a little less dead#so you're holding her hand at the morgue#---- point being that for most people this is the First Lowell episode#when it's a Liv Girl Crush episode

Okay thoughts are in order let’s talk about love islands episode!!! Spoilers below :3
Okay first off i’m so glad to see these girls get angry for the disrespect they got out through and be pissed off at the guys because they deserve every inch of that anger. Seeing Kaylor talk shit about aaron and thank god was so fucking funny like she dodged a bullet for real LMAOO!!! Seeing serena complete cut kordell off and not giving him the time was so wonderful to see. I also loved seeing all the girls support each other and be there for one another. Seeing liv and leah sleep outside and comfort Kaylor and Serena after everything was so sweet. You can tell how much they love and care for their friends.
No because the switch up of aaron on the last day of casa was crazy. Doing all this shit with daniela just for in the end to not recouple with her and tell her you can’t be with her is evil. Also rob shooting his shot with her was so funny to watch because i fear that man cannot hold a conversation. It was so awkward watching that 😭 The thing that pissed me off the most with seeing the boys in casa is i think um kendall, not too sure about that, saying “forgive and forget” LIKE NO. You cannot fucking forget this shit and forgive it. These girls were so hurt by the guys reactions i do not want any of them to forgive the guys. They do not deserve a single ounce of their time. The girls deserve better than those guys!!! bring in more bombshells for them pleaseeee…
Recoupling…. I knew liv would chose that guy, i feel like they did hit it off but i don’t see them lasting unfortunately LMAO. I’m not surprised at all to see Kendall and Nicole stay loyal to each other. I knew that was going to happen. Though i do wish Nicole brings him aside to chat about what he was saying in Casa especially about Kaylor because it was not right and fucking disrespectful.
ohhh don’t even get me started about leah’s decision to stay loyal. She knew that man would recouple with another girl but still stayed loyal. in my opinion it was not smart, but i do see why she would want to stay loyal. She was holding out hope Miguel would like their connection they had just as much as she did. And oh my god what Miguel was saying when Ariana asked how he felt about Leah staying loyal is crazy. That man was just saying shit and i feel so bad for Sierra for standing here and hearing him say this. You can tell she felt a little uncomfortable hearing that explanation but dam i think anyone would. I really fucking wished in the end though she picked iggy. He seemed like such a good guy and got along with her so well. I’m so sad to see him go
Kenny… Kenny kenny kenny. I FUCKING TRUSTED YOU!!! I genuinely thought he would stay loyal to JaNa and he fucking disappointed me. My jaw fucking dropped seeing him walk out recoupled. I felt so bad for JaNa because it seemed she really liked Kenny so much and to see him do this is heartbreaking. She has been screwed over by so many guys in this villa and I really hope she can find someone that really likes her. Even if she had the two guys from the villa i can see why she didn’t pick them. But god i still feel absolutely terrible for her. I also feel bad for the girl he coupled with because his explanation was also shitty and she looked uncomfortable too hearing that he thought he had a stronger connection with JaNa, like i would be crushed. Even with him saying that doesn’t make up for what he did and made her feel. It’s heartbreaking really.
Kaylor stood on business and i’m so happy for her. I’m sad she didn’t choose to recouple with any of the guys because that one guy did show a lot of interest in her, but i understand her reasoning as why she wouldn’t. If it feels too soon, it feels too soon and i respect that so much for her. I’m so happy to see her call out Kendall for his comments and how much it hurt her. Im so happy to see that he’s getting dragged into this too because the encouraging of this behavior was crazy!!! Though, Kendall needs to say a lot more than just “sorry” have an actual conversation and apology to Kaylor😭 Seeing Kaylor get upset and asking Aaron to explain was amazing! Like yes!! you deserve and explaination babes and don’t let him bring you down through it! I fear that he’s just going to lie about everything that happened and downplay everything that happened in casa with the way he was asking “What was in the video” Like no you explain first like what are you trying to hide??? He was just trying to see how he can downplay the situation and it was pissing me off. So glad Kaylor didn’t fully explain because it would make Aaron try his best to get out of the situation. So glad to see Kaylor put herself first but i’m so sad to see her chose to be single.
I will admit it was so fucking funny to see aaron cheering when he saw Kaylor alone and the girls laughing. Like bro… she’s not there for you LMAO
SERENA!!! my girl fucking stood on shit like kaylor and did not let Kordell disrespect her. I was so happy to see her call out Kordell and make fun of him because after all the disrespect and what he did it was fucking amazing to see. She meant it when she said she was over it! I’m just so happy to see him put in his place. Also the way he was downplaying what happened in bed when she literally saw the video is crazy? Like there is proof man… you’re not winning this argument!!! Once again so funny to see Serena just repeatedly make fun of him and ohhh THE MIDDLE FINGER SHE GAVE TO HIM!!!! She ate that up and it was so deserved. Really all i have to say because Serena really did amazing just shitting on Kordell LMAO Though unfortunately during this we were cursed with seeing robs eye roll which sucked… 😭
It was so funny seeing Rob walk in with Daniela and seeing all the girls get confused and be shocked when they realized. Like i cannot imagine what’s going through their heads at that moment because i would be so confused!!! Especially after the video. Also liv saying “And you were concerned about them sharing the same toothbrush” WAS SOOO FUNNY! i burst out laughing like oh my god
I felt so bad for the casa boys because they were just awkwardly there and not getting chosen like ☹️
It was so amazing to see the girls in the villa have each others back against these men and let them know they can’t get away with this shit. I can’t wait for sundays episode to see these men cry and see the consequences of what they did. I’m glad they know they just can’t disrespect these girls and get away with it!!!
I hope my girls JaNa, Leah, Serena and Kaylor have new bombshells that come in for them because I’m going to be so heartbroken to see them go! I hate seeing them all vulnerable and single right now and I hope things change. I can’t wait for Sundays episode…

911? Been watching since it's release~~~ when there were rumors of it being canceled, I was so sad but thanks the maker they switch to ABC instead and continue it.
I'm very very patiently waiting for all episodes of S8 to be on disney+ so I can binge watch it at one go.. okay maybe 2 go since is 20 episodes.
And seriously... don't ever mess with Sergeant Grant.. do it at your own risk cause I ain't messing with that woman.
Aww I really love the family atmosphere in the show, we really need more of these irl.
Hmmm I'll try watching Homeland a bit to see how it goes, not a big fan of politics stuff since I seen too much in my workplace :(
Nice!! i definitely started it years ago but never kept up with it until this year when i got bored of my stuff and wanted to catch up on it. I honestly really enjoy it, i normally can't watch Fire shows (chicago fire, station 19) cause it drives my anxiety up so much (fire is one of my worst fears) but i feel 911 is more emergency response not particularly *fire* ya know?
OH MY GOD! Athena Grant! We are NOT worthy. she's so incredible and so bad ass and if it were any other human i would be so concerned about her always being solo and not with a partner on the job lol. but this bitch really is this bitch. i love her so much. and her and bobby together, ugh. i want. i need. (bobby is my current old man crush and i simply cannot. i don't know why lol)
YES! i've been saying i wish that svu had like, a quick little separate 30 min show that followed the episode that was all personal lives, at home kinda thing. Liv going home to noah, having amanda and the girls over for dinner, fin hanging out with his son and grandkid, seeing more of phoebe around. like even just give us a quick 3 minute wrap up of them all smiling together at a bar having a drink rather than the usual "can i buy you a drink?" "nah, ive got a sitter on the clock" OKAY?! SO?! Buy a bottle of wine and drink it at her apt?!!? ugh. anyways.
yeah homeland's not my fave. if you want super hot Elizabeth Marvel in a political show i'd go the House of Cards route. it's more fast paced, the ENTIRE thing is phenomenal, writing, acting, directing, cinematography, costuming, everything. incredible.
hmmm.. im trying to think of other cop shows...
NCIS, Chicago PD, all Law & Orders (organized crime is honestly pretty fucking good if you havent watched), CM, 911, 911 Lonestar, CSI? i watched some of that cause Aisha Tyler was in a bunch and it's pretty good. classic show. does brooklyn 99 count? LOL.

A long while.
Warnings: Episode based, sweet Nick and smut.
WC: 1604.
Enjoy x
Love and any type of intimacy had always come second once you joined the academy and now with SVU. It was something that was usually right at the back on your mind but with the case that was in now, it pushed a massive button and most if not all of the squad had picked up on it. When Liv, Fin and Amanda asked if you were ok, you spun some story about an old gang war back when you were in uniform haunted you, but Nick knew better.
He had been interested in you for a while and was taking the time to get to know you in and out of work and he was putting his feelers out to see if you felt the same so he wouldn’t get rejected. He knew love was second to you, you were amazing and so loveable and he wanted to show you that. When the case first came in and you heard Avery talking about Manny, you brushed it off as a school girl crush that didn’t know better.
But when you had to play Avery Manny’s testimony and then half way through got called out to be told what happened, to then have to tell Avery what happened to the love of her life, you filled with regret and your heart hurt thinking about how you didn’t have anyone to go home to after a long day, how you had no one to cuddle with in bed and to share things with.
Nick had noticed when you walked out hugging a crying Avery, your eyes were red and your cheeks were wet. You said you were going to drive her back home, and Nick offered to drive you both so you weren’t alone. You didn’t know that while you were walking Avery to the car, Nick told Liv he was going to take you home after, she just nodding and he grabbing your bag and jacket after putting his on and coming to meet you both. You made sure Avery’s parents were home also filling them in on what had happened. They thanked you both, you and Nick walking back to the car getting in,
“I’ll take you home” Nick looked at you with a small smile.
“But Liv”
“It’s handled” Nick started the car and pulled out. The drive was mostly quiet, till Nick broke the silence “Why did it effect you so much? You have seen worse than this and I have never seen you this upset”
You took a deep breath and sighed “My Uncle was a cop. He was hardly ever home. My Aunty was pretty much a single mum raising 3 kids. I promised myself I would never do that to anyone. I have never worried about love, about a relationship. How can someone get to know me with the hours that we work. Hearing Avery talking about Manny, Nick, that love was real and they were so young. I regret not opening my heart to that, to that love” A tear rolled down your cheek.
Nick didn’t even think twice, he reached over and grabbed your hand, intertwining his fingers with yours, pulling it over to rest on his lap after he kissed the back of your hand,
“Open your heart to me Y/N, let me love you”
Your eyes opened wide and your mouth dropped open,
“You-really?”
“Of course, really”
“Can we even do that? Liv-“
“Don’t worry about that now” Nick chuckled.
Nick let go of your hand and moved the car into a parking spot, throwing it into park, unbuckling his belt and shifting in his seat to face you more, you doing the same in your seat. Nick’s eyes locked with yours and a small sweet smile pulled to his face, his hand reaching out to cup your cheek and you leaned into it,
“You mean it?” you whispered.
“With my whole heart” he muttered back.
“Did you want to come up?” you said shyly.
“I wouldn’t mind”
You had both ended up on your bed pretty much from the moment you walked through the door when you took a big leap kissing Nick first. You had pulled off Nick’s tie, unbuttoned his shirt pushing it off him and pulling off his under shirt before Nick took his time taking off your button down and bra. Your hands were in Nick hair, he between your legs rolling into you slowly while your tongues moved together in a deep kiss, when he felt you go stiff when his hands started to run down your side and between your legs,
“I can stop amor, if this is too fast. We can take our time” his eyes were soft and warm.
Your cheeks blushed, biting your bottom lip,
“It’s been a while. What if-“
Nick shook his head and you raised an eye brow at his reaction,
“It will be amazing baby. Do you trust me?” you nodded “Let me make you feel good. But you say the word and it stops, ok?”
“Yes”
“Just relax, my love. It will be ok”
Nick brought his lips to yours slowly, the kiss deepening straight away. Your hands left Nick’s hair running down over his neck, over his shoulders and down his chest. You let your fingers run along the waist of his pants and down to his ass cheeks squeezing them through his pants and pushing him into you. Nick groaned into your mouth, broke the kiss and pushed himself onto his knees. Nick tugged on your pants and panties, pulling them down and throwing them on the floor.
He reached into his pocket pulling out his wallet and pulling out protection, getting up off the bed, ridding himself of his pants and boxers. You sat up on your elbows, your arousal seeping out of you more when your eyes set on his long hard erection as he rolled on the condom. Nick was back on the bed in no time and you spread your legs wider.
Nick lent down to your belly button, his lips landing on your red-hot skin, his lips making a trail of kisses up your body, his lips latching on to one of your nipples sucking it and flicking it with his tongue and doing the same on the other side. Nick kissed up your neck till he got to your ear, his lips at it and you moaned loud when you felt the head of his length pressing into your core,
“You ready, Y/N?”
You nodded “Yes, Nick” you pushed your hips up into him.
Nick let out a slight chuckle and he started to push in slow, his eyes set on your face so he could stop if you looked uncomfortable. You thrusted your hips up into him so he could bottom out quicker and he let out a groan. Your mouth dropped open and Nick grinned at you just as he started to roll his hips into you, resting his elbows either side of your head. You planted your feet flat on the bed, your hands going to grip onto Nick’s sides,
“Nick” you moaned your nails digging slightly into his skin, which only spurred him on more.
“Baby, feels good, doesn’t it?” Nick panted out and you nodded back.
Nick lent onto one elbow, his lips landing on yours again kissing you deep. His other hand went down between you both and found your clit, circling it with his thumb fast. Your hands ran up to his shoulder blades pulling him into you, your release about to burst through you. Nick broke the kiss and his face nuzzled into your neck and his teeth sunk into you slightly as he started to slam a bit harder into you feeling your walls flutter around him.
Your head dropped back on the pillow and Nick kissed around to your wind pipe grunting into your skin. You gasped loud, your eyes slamming shut, your knees trembled and your toes curled, coming hard around Nick. That was all he needed to hear, see and feel to make him come deep inside you, grunting your name.
You both laid there breathless. Nick giving you a quick kiss before getting off you and going to the bathroom. You lent over the edge of the bed grabbing your tank top and panties slipping them back on and sitting on the bed with your legs curled under yourself. Nick walked out of the bathroom and your eyes ran over his amazing looking body and then up to the little smile on his face. Nick came and sat in front of you, peaking your lips and then your cheek, your hands going to rest on his chest,
“Where do we go from here?” you looked up at him.
“We go out on the weekend, maybe dinner and a movie, and it won’t be the only date hopefully. We take it day by day. I know where I want this to go and I hope you’re on the same page”
You smiled up at him and got up on your knees, your hand on his cheeks and his on your middle. You kissed him deeply before breaking the kiss and sitting back on your hunches,
“I’ am on the same page. But it’s been a while since I was in a relationship-“
“We will take it as slow as you need too amor” Nick reached up brushing your hair behind your ear “I want you, all of you, we are both learning this time, and there is no one I would rather be learning with than you”

Real Life-
"What the hell!" Y/n huffed once again.
She had been trying to fit a pair of her shoes into her suitcase for 15 minutes now but no matter how much she pushed it in, it kept coming out.
" Y/n what are you doing?" a voice suddenly speaks. its harry.
" GAH!" Y/n shouts, not expecting him to be there in her room doorway.
" Packing? if it isn't obvious enough!" she replies to his earlier question, turning to tackle the shoe once again.
" No its looks more like trying to give yourself an aneurism"
she doesn't reply. She just keeps trying to shut the zip of the bag
"Y/n" no response
"Y/n" she huffs and goes on pushing the bag
"Y/n" She's had it with the stupid bag. She kicks it on to the floor.
"What!?" she shouts, her voice cracking. She's sure there are tears in her eyes now. She didn't cry much as a child, she had never cried in public and she wasn't going to cry, especially not in front of him.
Her next words get muffled as harry swoops her into a hug. It is taking up everything in her not to shed a single tear. He rubs her back and supports her neck.
he still gives the best hugs her inner person says.
fuck it
she says to herself and starts crying into his shoulder, letting her heart out.
That moment she felt like she had found a lost friend again.

Prom | Frausto
Description: When the reader and Frausto go to Prom together because neither of them have a date, feelings ensue Pairing: Frausto x Fem!Reader Word Count: 1.9K Warnings: none A/N: couldn’t get the prom episode out of my head, and it made me wish Frausto had brought a date. Honestly, I’ll probably end up rewriting all the group scenes with my boy in them + a girl lol enjoy xx - - -
You stood in front of the full-length mirror in Olivia’s bedroom, smoothing your dress down in front of you. “Thoughts?” You asked, turning to face Liv and Layla, giving your friends a shy smile.
“Oh. My. God!” Liv gushed, grabbing your hand and twirling you around. “You look amazing!”
“You think so?”
“Yes,” Layla chimed in, nodding. “Frausto isn’t gonna know what hit him.”
You turned back to get one more glimpse of yourself in the mirror before following the two girls down the steps. Simone and Jordan were already waiting in the kitchen, snacking on a few things, not sure when the dinner at prom was gonna be served.
“When are the guys arriving?” You asked, popping one of Liv’s signature cheese puffs in your mouth.
“Soon, I think,” Jordan replied, checking his phone. “JJ says they’re about ten minutes out.”
You took a seat on one of the barstools, the nerves returning.
“Hey,” Frausto muttered, alerting you to his presence. You were standing gazing out at the lake, your mind racing. You hadn’t been right since hearing the guys’ discussion about their prom ‘drip’, getting inexplicably upset at the prom talk. You were going, but as part of Spencer’s crew and with everyone seemingly coupled up, it felt a little like being the eleventh wheel. “You okay?”
You looked back at him, taking him in. He had his hands shoved awkwardly in his pockets, making his incredibly large frame look smaller. “Just thinking about a lot, ya know?” You sighed, looking back at the water. The leaves and branches snapped under Frausto’s feet as he came to stand next to you; you could feel his body heat radiating off of him and there was a part of you that wanted to cuddle up to him. You’d been fighting off this crush on him for a while and rejection felt inevitable, which was why you hadn’t told anyone about it.
“Senior year?”
“That, yeah. Mostly just about prom. I hate that I am, though.”
“Why?”
You sucked in a breath, debating whether or not you actually wanted to tell him, but the words were out of your mouth before you could stop them. “I don’t have a date. It sounds dumb ‘cause I’m gonna roll with Spence, Liv, Coop and Patience, but there’s a small part of me that wishes I had a date.”
“Be my date.”
Those three words, said so casually and simply have you stopped in your tracks. “What?”
“Yeah, why not? I don’t have a date either and I think we could have fun together.”
“Sure,” you say, smiling and turning to him. “Thanks, Frausto.”
The sound of everyone else arriving breaks you out of your daydream as you get up from the barstool and follow everyone to the foyer to greet the others. Your stomach dips as your eyes meet Frausto’s, the nerves replaced by unexpected desire. He looks amazing in his gray suit, the fabric hugging his torso in all the right places; his tie matches the color of your dress and your mind goes blank as you try to remember when you told him what you’d be wearing.
“Hey,” he murmurs as he walks up to you, his voice the same timbre as the night he asked you to be his date. “You look beautiful.”
“Thanks,” you reply, looking away shyly. “You don’t look so bad yourself - nice tie.”
“Liv told me what color your dress was so I could make sure to match it; she said something about how important it was to match with your date, letting everyone know you’re together.”
“You didn’t have to do that, though,” you said, feeling awkward at the mention of you and Frausto together. Sure, the two of you ran in the same circles at South Crenshaw, but you weren’t the best of friends - more like peripheral acquaintances who barely spoke unless everyone was hanging out and both of you just so happened to be there.
“I know.” He held out his hand to show you the corsage he’d brought for you. “I didn’t have to do this, either, but I wanted to make sure you had a night to remember.”
You sucked in a breath when he took your wrist in his hands, sliding the corsage on easily. His hands looked so much larger against yours and you couldn’t help but wonder what it would feel like with his hands holding yours during a slow dance. “Thanks,” you whispered, looking up at him. “I hope it’s memorable for both of us.”
It wasn’t long after that when Billy and Laura came barging in, insisting on pictures. You and the girls took a few and so did the guys, the group and couple pictures last. You couldn’t deny that it felt right to have Frausto standing behind you in the classic awkward prom pose, the two of you laughing along with the rest of the group.
Of course, prom wasn’t as great as it looked in the movies, but you still had a fair amount of fun. You chalked it up to being with your friends, doing one of the most classic high school coming-of-age activities known to man. Part of you wished you’d come here with a real date, but Frausto was quick to make you forget that the two of you weren’t together. He stood by your side for most of the night, only disappearing for about an hour, but you didn’t question it, figuring he ran off with the guys on the team for a little fun.
“Dance with me,” he commanded, appearing out of nowhere and pulling you up from your seat and into his arms. He looked frazzled, his heart beating wildly under your fingertips.
“What’s going on?” You asked, getting slightly worried.
“N-Nothing. Just…sorry if I’ve been neglecting you. I had something to take care of but I’m back now.”
“Okay,” you shrugged, leaning into him as the song changed from something slow-ish to the version of Perfect by Ed Sheeran with Beyonce. You wrapped your arms around his neck and rested your head on his chest, your eyes fluttering closed when his hands slid around your waist.
“Are you mad?” He asked, swallowing hard.
“No. You’ve been a great date all night. Besides, you’re back here with me now and that’s all that matters.”
Frausto seemed to breathe a sigh of relief, relaxing in your arms as the two of you swayed to the beat of the song, caught up in the moment. He started to sing along as the song ended and you couldn’t help looking up at him, your meeting his as he sang, I don’t deserve this but darling you look perfect tonight. Your breath caught in your throat at the intensity of his gaze and you all but yanked yourself out of his arms when the song ended, racing out of the gym and into the cool LA spring air.
“Wait!” You heard Frausto call your name, the sound of his footsteps following you making you want to cry. “Did I do something wrong?”
“No,” you sniffled, shaking your head. “I just…I wish things were different. I wish I was here with a guy who wanted me and not because we were both gonna go without dates; I wish our senior year wasn’t ending already; fuck, I just wish we had more time!”
“I wish we had more time, too,” he said softly, turning you to face him. “If we did, I would’ve taken more risks, said what I wanted to say when I felt it; spent more time on the field than on the bench when it came to life.”
Your brows furrowed as you looked up at him. “What do you mean?”
“I wasted so much time pining for you and not making moves when that’s what I should’ve been doing - especially once football season ended.” Frausto reached out, cupping your chin in his hand so he could look you in the eye. “We’ve never gotten a chance to hang out one-on-one, but I always hoped I’d have a chance with you so when you told me you didn’t have a date to prom, I saw my opportunity and I took it. I wish I’d done this sooner.”
His gruff exterior had peeled away, revealing a soft center you’d never seen before. You’d known he was capable of it with the way he behaved with his teammates, but having it turned on you was a whole different feeling.
“Frausto,” you whispered, your gaze flickering from his eyes to his lips and back again.
“If you don’t want me to kiss you, walk away now,” he murmured, his eyes heavy-lidded as he leaned in.
You didn’t move except to meet him in the middle for the best kiss of your life. Your fingers curled around the nape of his neck, clinging to him as his tongue tangled with yours. You could feel the weight of his fingers as they pressed into your hips, pulling you into him until you were practically skin-to-skin if clothes hadn’t been in the way. Frausto swallowed your moans as the two of you kissed for what felt like forever, only pulling away for air.
He swallowed hard as he tried to catch his breath. “I’ve been wanting to do that for a while now,” he confessed, his forehead pressed against yours.
“Me, too,” you replied, smiling. “I was so happy when you asked me to be your date that I got scared when we were dancing and I didn’t want to tell you how I felt in case you didn’t feel the same way.”
“If your feelings include wanting to go on dates and being an exclusive couple for the rest of the year, don’t worry: I feel the same way.”
You breathed a sigh of relief, pulling him down for another earth-shattering kiss. “Good, because I don’t think I could handle letting someone else have you when I already consider you mine.”
“Oh, really?” Frausto smirked, kissing you again after you nodded. “Good, because I already consider you mine, too.”
It didn’t take everyone else long to figure out that you and Frausto were officially more-than-friends when the two of you walked back into the gym. The two of you were stuck to each other like glue, unable to let the other go for a second as if to make up for lost time.
“Alright, hand it over,” Jordan said when everyone was gathered around one of the tables, you sitting happily in Frausto’s lap.
You and Frausto shared a confused look, understanding dawning as you watched all your friends take out their wallets and press cash in Jordan’s hand as he smiled triumphantly.
“Ugh, I can’t believe I said they wouldn’t get together ‘til graduation!” JJ pouted.
“Hey, at least you didn’t have Valentine’s Day,” Patience chimed in.
“Aw, look: my baby’s a hopeless romantic,” Coop crooned, kissing her girlfriend on the cheek. “Nothin’ wrong with that.”
“I had State,” Spencer grimaced. “Look how well that one turned out.”
“I can’t believe all of you bet on us!” Frausto glared, shaking his head.
“It’s okay, baby,” you muttered, placing a hand on his chest and giving him a kiss. “They were just betting on us because they all knew once we got together that we’d be the hottest couple.”
That seemed to calm your new boyfriend down, his demeanor changing as he sat back and laughed. “Yeah, that’s true. South Crenshaw isn’t gonna know what hit ‘em now.”

"Not My Yacht" *Chapter 1?*
So this is interesting:
So "Not My Yacht" was my very first fic. Like, I'm talking VERY VERY first.
So when I started asking around about ideas for a new series, a few of my lovelies went through my one shots and this story and "Doodling" got some good votes.
So, I decided to include the one shot and just added to it for a POTENTIAL new series. We'll see how this chapter goes over.
Also I'll be including Rita Calhoun in this for the FIRST time ever, so I may need assistance from @storiesofsvu to get her voice right. I did my best here. I'll be honest I've never really watched her, just that one where that guy blackmailed her or something.
Also Also, if it wasn't obvious enough this is obviously the beginning of the SVU episode "Her Negations".
I don't want to give anything away because I haven't even really thought that far, but I'm 95% sure this is going to turn in a William Lewis situation fic. So...pretty dark. I'm just warning you NOW.

And yes, the results are in. There is a part 2!
You breathed in the salty air of the sea of the sunny South Hampton shore; It was a beautiful day for a yacht party.
You walked along the pier as you got closer to your boss’s boat: The Crime Wave. Her husband’s idea of a funny name she claimed as she had invited people from the office to this soiree. You were lucky to even get an invite, just being the assistant to the owner of the law firm. “Who else is going to help me dodge boring conversations with men who just wanted a "free ride” on the bosses boat?“ She had teased you; or at least you hoped she was kidding.
You really wanted to just relax and mingle among the elite lawyers of NYC, seeing as you wanted to be one of them someday.
You saw your boss, Rita Calhoun waving you down as you reached the dock space.
"Ah! There you are, for a minute I thought I’d have to mix my own drinks!” She laughed with a wink. You laugh nervously, unable to discern if she was kidding.
“Calm down sweetie, I’m a big girl. Besides, I like to make them myself, strong,” she laughed again, patting your shoulder. Crap had your face looked that panicked? Keep it cool!
“Go ahead, enjoy yourself. I’ll be here, making sure none of those damn punks tries to sneak on here for free booze,” she scoffed, nodding to a group of highly dressed teens playing chicken on the shoreline.
You nodded with a half laugh, stepping onto the yacht. It was a decent size, a second level deck and a very spacious main level. Not a lot of people had arrived yet, so you decided to pick a spot on the yachts back bench area before all the seating was taken. You began removing your over clothes revealing your swimming wear when you hear Rita greet someone else.
“Ah, Barba. You know we have flare guns on board,”
You turn to see the ADA of New York, Rafael Barba. He’s dressed in a windbreaker and what could be either a dark red or salmon polo. You realize Mrs. Calhoun is referring to the almost neon yellow color of the windbreaker, and you can’t help but giggle. It must have been way too loud because they both turn to you which caused you to immediately shut up and go back to undressing and laying out your towel, but ever so slightly still honed in on the conversation.
“You can never be too careful Rita, who knows how many enemies I’ve made in this town; someone might throw me over,” he smirked.
“And anyone here could make it look like a very convincing accident….even my aspiring protege over there,” Rita nods over to you, knowing full well what you were doing.
Barba turned and looked at you, your body frozen in mid towel thrust. You didn’t know whether to throw it over yourself or just run off the boat right there.
“I know it’s an awful jacket dear, you don’t have to keep staring at him.” She called over to you. God why did she have to be so….her.
“Jesus Rita give the girl a break, or did you invite her just to torture her on unbillable hours?” Barba scoffed with a half smile, walking over to you.
“Is it really worth the minimum wage to put up with her?” He asked.
“Mmm…it’s more for the experience, honestly.” You replied surprisingly smoothly.
“Oh….well I mean I could give you the experience without–” He started but was interrupted by your boss’s loud exclaiming.
“Yeah I’ll BET you’d give her experience Barba! Stop hitting on my intern and mingle with the adults.”
If you could dig a hole straight through the boat into the ocean you would do it right then and there.
“…..Without THAT.” He rolled his eyes, lightly flipping her the bird behind his back. You see her respond with a laugh then turns her attention back to the guests boarding.
“She’s probably been drinking since she got on the boat, yeah?” He asked you.
“I…I don’t know I just got here….” You managed to squeak out as your towel strayed from your hands. Barba grabbed it and helped you reposition it on the bench.
“Kinda windy for a yacht party, but Rita will take any chance to celebrate anything remotely resembling a boost to her ego. Am I right?” He chuckled, before sitting down on your towel.
“Just to keep it from blowing away, do you mind?” He asked, gesturing for you to join him. You nodded a boisterous “NO”, plopping next to him on the bench.
“I’m Rafael Barba,” he extended his hand to you, which you took and shook gently, praying to God he didn’t notice you were literally shaking. You had probably had the biggest crush on him since you started working with Mrs. Calhoun, he was constantly in her office challenging her with warrants and favors.
“Oh yeah I know,” you blurted out, mentally facepalming immediately.
“I see….” He raised an eyebrow. “And you are….?”
You were about to answer when his phone went off. He answered it putting one finger up and mouthing the words “one second.”
“Barba. Yeah….what? Seriously, Olivia? On a Sunday?!” He groaned into his phone with an exaggerated eye roll. He raised his hand and ran it over his face begrudgingly as he talked.
“Yeah….alright, fine. Yeah I’ll be there, give me an hour. I’m in the Hamptons. Because it’s my day off, Liv! Do you think I lock myself in my office over the weekends like a vampire in a coffin? Yeah…I’m sorry, I just…” He glanced at you.
“I was enjoying my Sunday.” He gave you a small sad smile.
“Yeah. Ok. See you soon.” He hung up the phone with an exasperated sigh.
“I’m sorry, I gotta go back to the city. Don’t let Rita push you around too much, okay?” He chuckled, rubbing the top of your head like a puppy. You felt your face scrunch up in annoyance, seriously? He thought of you as a kid?!
He obviously noticed, and quickly held out his hand again very sternly.
“Sorry, future counselor.” He said in an overly serious tone, and you couldn’t stop yourself from giggling. Again. Like an idiot.
Relieved he had fixed his faux paux, he gave you one last beautiful Barba grin as he jogged over to Rita and told her something before nodding to you once again, then walked off the boat and disappearing down the pier.
Your boss sauntered over to you, a shit eating grin across her face.
“Well Cinderella, you sure kept that cool.” She gestured for your phone beside you.
“Be sure to tell him your name this time,” she winked, handing it back to you. You glanced down at it as she walked away; she had added a number to your contacts.
“BHole Barba.” You laughed out loud. Nice. Maybe she wasn’t such a horrible boss after all….
--------------
By Monday you still hadn’t had the balls to text Rafael Barba. You had just stared at the number in your phone, imagining all the possibilities contacting him would lead to. You may have gotten so far as planning your summer wedding in the Hamptons, but nobody needed to know that.
But you had chickened out and left it alone, and now you were sitting at your desk typing up a memo for Rita when you saw him come waltzing through the door.
“Ah, Cinderella!” He smiled at you.
“Hey…” Your mind went blank, you couldn’t think of words. Wait, had he already given you a nickname?
“Cinderella?” You blinked in confusion.
“Well I never caught your name-- But I guess I shouldn’t even push it, you’ve clearly moved on and I must seem like a creep,” His train of thought proceeded out loud as he realized you hadn’t taken his number and here he was still flirting with you. Rita had given it to you, he had seen her type it in your phone. Obviously you weren’t interested, why was he pushing this?
“What? NO!” You said a little louder than you intended, actually a lot louder than you intended. You slapped your hand over your mouth after your little outburst, but to you relief he was still smiling.
“Oh? Well I suppose that’s good…” He was obviously fishing for your excuse as to why you had waited until he popped back in your face to talk to him.
“No, I um--” You racked your brain for an excuse that wasn’t “I was busy planning our lives together”.
“I….couldn’t think of something interesting to say,” You finally admitted with a pitiful sigh. You were not a good liar, and under pressure, forget about it.
Again, he still smiled-- but this time he laughed along with it.
“I mean, ‘Hello’ is always an option,” He chuckled. “Or...your name?”
“Oh!” Idiot. You hadn’t even given him your name, how was he supposed to fall madly in love with you without a name?
“Y/N,” You stuck your hand out awkwardly, Was this a ‘shake hands’ moment? Hadn’t you already met before? You stared at your hand as you moved it slightly back and forth, arguing with yourself whether or not this was necessary. Luckily, Rafael settled the argument by taking your hand and shaking it firmly.
His hands were so soft, his long fingers enveloped yours in them. You lost yourself in the moment, and before you knew it he was making an uncomfortable cough, snapping you back to reality. You dropped his hand and snapped yours back into your body like a zip cord, your face in a horrified stare.
“Oh God, I’m so sorry, that was so weird. I’m weird. I’m--”
“Well I don’t know what you were so worried about Cinderella, you’re clearly a chatterbox,” He gave you a tongued smile, referring to the word vomit you just couldn’t help spill all over him.
“Oh yeah, I’m a total word machine,” You laughed nervously. A word machine? What the fuck was that?
“...Word machine. Right,” He nodded in amusement. “Well word machine, would you mind shooting some words to my phone, or do you just enjoy this face to face thing?”
“With that face? Definitely the latter. But you can have my number anyway,” You typed a quick message and sent it to his number. Damn that was smooth! How did you do that?
Rafael made an impressed face with your line, but when he opened his phone his brows furrowed.
“Hit?” He gave you a curious look as he read the text out loud.
“Fuck it was supposed to be ‘hi’-- stupid autocorrect,” You muttered angrily. Yeah, that was more like you.
“Oh yes, the dreaded autocorrect,” He nodded while saving your number. “Turning fucks into ducks since 2011,”
“Oh I didn’t have a phone in 7th grade but I’ll take your word for it,” You laughed, but stopped when his face twisted into a mix of horror and discomfort when he realized how young you actually were.
Dammit. Why...why would you do this?
“....Right, is Rita in?” He quickly shoved his phone back in his pocket and headed into Rita’s office before you could answer.
“...Idiot!” You yelled at yourself as your hands went over your face and your face planted into your desk.
Well, that was nice while it lasted. All 2.5 seconds of it.
-----------------
“Well Barba, about time,” Rita smirked as Rafael abruptly burst into her office trying to get away from you. “Done flirting with the intern are we?”
“Shut up,” He rolled his eyes, though his face was a deep shade of red.
“Oh no, what happened? Did your dentures fall out in front of her?” She smirked.
“I’m younger than you!!” He scoffed.
“Yeah but I’m not the one trying to boff a 25 year old,” She smirked harder, making Rafael angrier.
“Can I just get the warrant I came here for, Rita?” He huffed.
“Oooh, struck a nerve there, did I?” Rita chuckled as she grabbed some papers from her desk and started to hand them to him. “Barba, for the record I’m really not judging you. If I were 20 years younger, I’d hit it too,”
“Excuse me?”
“I had a lot of ‘cats’ in college,” She winked.
“Wow,” Rafael held up his hands. “Rita, we really don’t need to be that personal.”
“Fine, but all I’m saying is if you like the girl, don’t let a stupid thing like age deter you. Don’t tell her I said this, but she’s actually very competent and organized. I would almost prefer her not to graduate, unless she'd come work for me. She’s going to be a hell of a lawyer,” She gestured outside to your desk.
Rafael looked at the ground as he mulled over what she was saying, a small smile crawled across his lips as she complimented your potential.
“I’ll take that under advisement, Mrs. Calhoun,” He nodded as he walked towards the door with the papers in his hand, a huge smile across his face now.
He walked out to find you cursing at yourself and whimpering in embarrassment at your desk. When you heard the door shut you snapped to attention and stared at him, shocked he hadn't sprinted out of the office like Usain Bolt. Even more shocking was that Cheshire cat grin now upon his face.
“I-I’m sorry, I totally meant I was--” You tried doing math trying to make yourself reasonably older.
“It’s fine,” He chuckled as he put a hand over your counting fingers. You blushed at the touch of his skin on yours again, but quickly shoved your hands under the desk nervously as you tried not to look him square in the eye. His eyes were so gorgeous you were positive staring straight into them would actually get you pregnant.
“So does Rita ever unchain you from this desk?” He smirked as he was now very aware and very amused at how nervous he made you. He may be old, but clearly he’s still got it.
“Oh yeah, if I ask very nicely she let’s me--” You tried to think of something witty, but it wasn’t coming with him staring at you with those eyes. “....Yes,” You wanted to put your hands over your face but you didn’t want it to be a ‘thing’.
“Well, maybe if you’re an extra good girl she’ll let you off your leash early tonight,” He winked.
“....Am I a dog or a toddler in that situation?” You were genuinely asking, but Rafael clearly realized how insulting that must have seemed.
“Oh no no no, I just, shit,” He tried to backtrack but if he was being totally honest, you made him nervous. Maybe he didn’t have ‘it’ as much as he thought.
You noticed he was the one blushing now, oh my god were you making him nervous? QUICK, BE SMOOTH. BE SMOOTHER THAN YOU’VE EVER BEEN IN YOUR LIFE.
“Are you asking me out, counselor?” You did your best “sultry “voice with a bat of your eyes. Were you batting them too much? What was too much? Oh god you’ve done it for too long now. STOP BATTING.
“...I don’t know, guess you’ll have to wait for me to text you, future counselor,” He was impressed by the line, and decided to bow out before either of you made idiots of yourselves again. He gave you a wink and sauntered out of the office.
Great. Now he’ll probably make you wait two days for a--
*BEEP*
Your phone went off in your desk. You pulled it out to see a text message:
BHOLE BARBA: Dinner? Tonight?
You really needed to change his contact name. But that wasn’t the point right now. He just asked you out. Rafael Barba just asked you out. You stared at in your hands, unsure of what to do. Then you realized you couldn’t do this again, you couldn’t just sit there and imagine things, this required an immediate response.
You nervously typed a reply and hit SEND:
Sire ;)
“DAMMIT!!!” You cursed your autocorrect. You instantly sent another text.
Sure***
Before you could lecture yourself again, your phone beeped again:
BHOLE BARBA: Play
Play? What did that--
BHOLE: Okay** ;)
You typed the word ‘okay’ into your text reply bubble, ‘play’ came up in the autocorrect word list.
He was joking with you. He was flirting with you. RAFAEL BARBA WAS FLIRTING WITH YOU.
This work day could not end fast enough.

far away facetimes
pairing: taehyung x reader
warnings: cursing, alcohol (because it’s me)
a/n: yes i know i said i wasnt going to flesh anything out but here we are. i write vibes only, no plot. read this, it’s kind of a part one. inspired by @taetaespeaches bc liv is the keeper of all vibes
***
it’s still new. whatever you and taehyung are doing. you miss him when he’s not around, which is most times. but you can’t tell if he feels the same.
You think he does, and that it’s your anxious mind telling you otherwise.
he calls you close to 3 PM, meaning it’s close to 4 AM for him. you’re only in your apartment, drafting plans and thoughts for your upcoming podcast episodes in your office corner. Which is really just a desk and some pretty things in your living room.
It’s cozy, as taehyung has said before. To which, you’ve always just scoffed- what would he know about cozy, anyway?
You answer his FaceTime quickly, before the second ring.
“Hi-“
An exclamation of your name and taehyung’s wide eyes is what you hear and see. Jungkook is next to him, but not looking at the screen. And Jin on his other side.
You sink in your seat. You wonder what he’s told the boys about you.
“Hi, Taehyung,” you say sheepishly.
Another call of your name. It sounds sweet on his lips.
It looks like they’re in a car and the closer you look, you see Jungkook falling asleep.
“Hi,” taehyung says, “I missed you.”
His voice is raspy, the kind of rasp that comes with alcohol. You know he’s not a big drinker, but still the sentiment warms your heart.
“I missed you,” You mumble, “where are you coming back from?”
“Dinner and karaoke,” Jin answers for Taehyung.
Jin’s words are slurred, his cheeks flushed. Jin takes taehyung’s phone despite his protests and you’re met with Jin’s handsome face and drunk eyes.
“Did you have fun, Seokjin?” You ask with a laugh.
“Of course we did. We always have fun,” Jin grins, “would’ve been even more fun if you were here. Especially for Tae-“
Taehyung snatches the phone back from Jin, and Jin erupts into peals of laughter. Your cheeks burn in the best way.
“Stop embarrassing me in front of my girl,” Taehyung says, but there’s no heat behind it.
Your heart stops and your brain short circuits. His girl?
Butterflies erupt in your belly and you’re certain you’re thirteen again, with your first crush.
“What’re you doin, sweetheart?” Taehyung says, focusing his eyes on you.
“Just some work. It’s like... 3 pm here,” You reply, pretending like the pet name doesn’t send a wave of affection through you.
“Workin hard,” Taehyung beams, “so what’re you wearin, sweetheart?”
The affronted gasp you give him is enough to send him into a fit of laughter, leaning against Jin to catch his breath.
“I’m kidding. I’ll wait till I’m alone to ask,” He says, and Jungkook stirs from the movement.
“You woke Jungkook up. Stupid,” You shake your head and ignore the flaming in your cheeks.
Jungkook looks at taehyung’s phone for a minute before realizing it’s you.
He shouts your name and then, “Come back soon, we miss you!”
“I will, Jungkook,” you murmur, fondness for him spreading through your chest, “Sleep well, honey.”
“Hey, you don’t call me honey,” Taehyung pouts.
“Because you ask me what I’m wearing in front of your friends,” you deadpan.
You hear Jin giggling in the background and can’t help your own laughter.
“Call me when you get inside,” You offer, “Be safe.”
Taehyung nods and waves at you before ending the call. You’re already looking forward to speaking with him again. You missed him more than you thought.
It’s not to say that life stopped when you didn’t speak with him. Most of your relationships and friendships have always been somewhat long-distance- going weeks without talking and it being normal when you catch up.
But with Tae, it’s different. You want to hear about whatever is happening as it happens, not after the fact.
He calls twenty minutes later, once he’s in his pajamas, his face is washed and he’s under the covers. The faint glow of the lamp illuminated the soft planes of his face. You’re struck with the desire to push his hair back, and your stomach churns in loneliness.
“Hi again,” you chirp and wiggle your fingers in greeting, “Everyone safe in bed?”
“Yeah. We had to carry Jungkook upstairs to bed,” Taehyung says fondly, “and Jimin brought a girl home.”
“Of course he did,” you laugh, “what about you? Where’s your girl?”
You want to hear him say it again, and you both know it.
“My girl’s in New York City. The big Apple. You might know her,” Taehyung says coyly.
Your heart skips a beat and you can’t stop the bashful smile from spreading.
“It’s a big city, Tae. You might have to come show me.”
“Or you can come here. And I can introduce you.”
“That would be nice, huh?” You say dreamily, “Explore Seoul with my own tour guide?”
“That’s all I am to you? A tour guide?”
“Were you expecting more, baby?” You laugh, the pet name slipping from your lips easily.
“Seriously, Kook was right. You should come back soon,” Taehyung murmurs.
“I will, Tae. I want to,” you promise, “you should come here, too. You’d like Brooklyn. You’d like everything about the city.”
“Should we bet on it? That I’d like it?”
“Either way, I think I win.”
Taehyung yawns widely, snuggling into his comforter. The urge to push his hair back strikes once more, and you’re suddenly overwhelmed.
It doesn’t feel normal to you, and Taehyung is nothing if not perceptive.
“What is it?” He asks softly.
“N-nothing,” You say quickly, “I just-I just miss you, miss you more than I thought I would, and you make me feel vulnerable in a good way, but I’m not used to it.”
You cut off your rambling with an embarrassed sigh. He’s smiling at you in his signature boxy way and you wonder if you’ve scared him off. It appears not.
“I’m not very used to it either. But I think we both have to get used to it if we want to see where this goes...” Taehyung murmurs.
“Yeah, I know. I’ve never been so far outside of my comfort zone. But... you’re right, Tae,” you murmur, “I’ll let you sleep. It’s almost 5 AM there.”
“Goodnight, princess,” Tae says with a yawn. He cracks an eye open for your reaction- he’s testing our pet names for you and trying to gauge your reactions on what you like.
If the flustered wave of your hands and shy goodbye is anything to go by, he’d say that you quite like ‘Princess’.
***
Your eyes are glassy and blown as you stare at yourself in the mirror. The mirror itself is dirty and smudged, but you can still see your dark eyes and dark hair. In fact, you’re nearly seeing two of yourself in your reflection. You run a hand over your face with an annoyed groan.
It’s a Wednesday night, you were only supposed to go out for happy hour with your good friend, and somehow that turned into a mini bar crawl. You and Pari are at your third bar of the night, and it’s only 8 PM.
It didn’t hit you, how drunk you were, until you had caught a glimpse of yourself in the mirror. And then you start to giggle to yourself about it.
Without thinking twice, you text Taehyung. Or at least, you try to. Once you press send, you tuck your phone in your bag and head back out to the bar, already forgetting that you had texted him.
You’re at the bar again, next to Pari. She hugs you close as if you weren’t gone for only five minutes. You had both made some friends, friends whose names you can’t remember for the life of you. But you’re having fun, dancing and singing along with strangers and a drink in your hand.
Pari was more of the social butterfly out of the both of you- but that wasn’t to say that you weren’t in your element. It just took you longer to feel comfortable.
Your lips are loose for the most part, but you still have your wits about you somewhat.
Pari has an arm around your waist as you both stand at the bar and bounce along to the beat. A boy, really a man, approaches Pari from her right side. He looks familiar, from somewhere. It takes you about forty-five seconds to realize that he’s one of Pari’s coworkers.
“Go! Go have fun,” You say excitedly, pushing her towards him.
And then you’re alone, with your drink. You pull your phone out, checking your notifications with just one eye open. The words on your phone blur together if both your eyes are open.
Maybe you don’t have all of your wits about you.
You lean back against the bar, elbows propped up and nearly slip on the wet floor. The boots you’re wearing have a flimsy sole that doesn’t provide much support. You’re fully prepared to fall on your ass- it’s not like it hasn’t happened before- but a pair of arms catches you before you can. Warmth bursts through you, after all, it’s not often that you’ve been touched this way.
“Uh,” You say eloquently and look up at your savior.
“Saw you about to fall. I guess you can call me your knight in shining armor, huh?” He says with a wink and you can’t help but laugh.
“Yeah, you wish,” You scoff without missing a beat, “Corny. I’ll buy you a drink. To say thank you.”
He stands closer to you but you hardly notice. You’re busy wondering if Taehyung has texted you, your thoughts floating away. But you’re still here.
“A pretty girl buying me a drink? Sign me up,” He grins at you and you roll your eyes.
You only smile at him, bright and brilliant, and you don’t even realize that the boy’s breath catches when he sees you smile.
“Pick your poison,” You murmur, leaning close to him. Close enough that you can see the wet sheen of his lips.
He tells you what drink he wants but then follows it up with something he thinks is smooth, “can I pick you, too?”
You laugh despite yourself, “You can try. Doesn’ mean I’ll let you.”
He pouts at you and you laugh again. Maybe you’re being mean. He’s cute, big eyes and a pretty smile. But he’s not your Taehyung.
You’re suddenly hit with a tidal wave of missing him.
“Why not?”
“I have a boy-” You cut yourself off. Boyfriend isn’t the right word. “I have a boy thing.”
“A boy thing.”
“Yes,” You reply, “Enjoy. Sure I’m not the only pretty girl buyin’ you drinks.”
With that, you stumble away and pull out your phone again. Your stomach flips happily when you see that Taehyung has texted you. Three times to be exact-
you: h you: h you: hi
tae: h tae: h tae: hi
you: hi you: tae
At the thought of him, you’re overwhelmed with the desire to go to bed and call him. You search for Pari, spotting her with the boy from earlier who had approached her at the bar. They’re making out in a not so secluded corner of the bar. You order yourself a water and take a seat at a booth, holding back a yawn.
You finish two glasses of water, before wondering if you should maybe go home after determining what Pari’s plan of action is. Your phone buzzes on the table.
tae: hi tae: princess tae: what are you doing
you: drinking you: drinking water you: alcohol before. water
tae: good girl
You don’t pretend like that doesn’t send a bolt of excitement through you.
tae: can i call?
You’re already calling him before even replying, despite the loud music and chatter that surrounds you- you just want to hear his voice.
“Good morning,” Taehyung says once he answers.
“Hi,” You mumble, “Good morning. ‘S nighttime here.”
“Yeah, that’s time for ya,” He teases, “I can’t hear you well, Princess.”
“Shuttup,” You laugh, “still at the bar. Gonna ask Pari what she wants to do...”
“Text me until then?” Taehyung asks.
“Okay,” You breathe, “Talk to you soon.”
Pari has pulled away from her hookup and makes her way over to you. You offer her an eager wave as she tells you all about the boy she was hooking up with.
“Who were you on the phone with?” Pari asks curiously.
“Uh. Tae,” You shrug sheepishly.
Pari squeals excitedly, asking you a million questions a minute.
“Oh stop,” You wave her off, “I’ll tell you about ‘m tomorrow. What are you doin’ tonight?”
“Think I wanna g’home with him,” Pari grins and wiggles her eyebrows.
“I knew it! Need condoms?” You ask, “’cause I don’t have...”
“Nah, I’m good. ‘M prepared,” Pari winks, “We’ll ride home with you. And leave from your place.”
“What? No, I can go home by myself,” You protest stubbornly but she silenced you with a look, “‘m not even that drunk!”
She only rolls her eyes at you, already calling for an Uber. You don’t fight her on it, instead chugging your water. You wave at Pari’s new friend, who looks awkward and adorable just standing there. He sits next to Pari and relaxes when you introduce yourself-
“I mean since Pari hasn’t. What a jerk,” you giggle at her offended look.
“Probably afraid we’ll tag team her,” He agrees, ruffling Pari’s hair.
“Oh, haven’t we already?” You reply easily and Pari glares at you both fondly.
“I don’t like this,” Pari informs you, “Wish your boy thing was here so we could tag team.”
At the mention of Taehyung you sink in your seat as your cheeks heat up. You truly don’t remember the last time a boy has held your attention for as long as he has.
You wonder if it will fade. You hope not.
“How far is the Uber,” You ask, changing the subject. Pari doesn’t notice, and she jumps up when she exclaims that it’s here.
You sit in the front seat, allowing Pari and her friend to cuddle in the back. And also allowing you to text Taehyung with no questions from your friend.
you: hi. Going home now tae: alone? You: no, Pari and her friend are riding w me tae: ok good. call when you get home? you: yes pls
You contemplate sending a yellow heart emoji, but by the time you finish thinking about it, it appears your thumbs have done the thing anyway.
you: 💛 tae: 💛💛
You stifle the giddiness that erupts in your chest.
Once you’re changed, out of your clothes and into pajamas and bare faced, you climb into bed with a yawn and finally FaceTime Taehyung. You’re still a little tipsy, the alcohol wearing off before.
“Tae,” You murmur when he answers, your voice hoarse, “Hi.”
“Hi pretty,” Taehyung replies and again, it sends your heart into a frenzy.
He looks good, and you lick your lips without realizing it. He’s wearing glasses, his hair shiny and a light brown, bangs parted on either side of his forehead. And you see a mint green sweater on him.
“How was your night-“
“You look really good-“
You say at the same time and you laugh with him.
“You look good,” He counters, “Saw those pictures you sent me with your friend. You’re pretty in those and you’re pretty now.”
“Oh stop,” You wave him off and avoid meeting his eyes.
He only smiles at you, in that way.
You tell him about your night, how you were only supposed to have one drink which turned into going to three bars. You tell him about your new friends who are still nameless and about Pari’s hookup.
“I think a boy was trying to talk to me. He said I was pretty, after he caught me before I fell. Bought him a drink to say thanks. And then he said ‘how can I say no to a drink from a pretty girl’- I mean how corny-“
“He was definitely trying to get your number, princess,” Taehyung says, “what did you say?”
“Made fun of him. And then said I had a boy thing,” You say easily with a laugh.
“Is that supposed to be me?”
“Wow, look at you putting two and two together.”
“What does that make you? My girl thing? Is that what I should call you?” Taehyung asks with a quirk of his eyebrow, his hand under his chin.
You hardly hear his question, he sounds muted for a second when you catch a glimpse of his tanned skin. A thin necklace sits at the base of his neck and you swallow nervously.
“Huh?” You answer, “Oh. You can call me whatever y’wanna call me.”
Tae only gives you a smile, the kind of smile that lights up his entire face in response. Your heart flutters again but you maintain eye contact with him.
“Even... my girl?”
“Think were passed that, sweetheart. Just ask Jin and Kook,” You grin.
“I’m tryin’ to be cute,” Taehyung nearly whines.
“Try a little harder.”
And this time he does whine and pouts at you. You wonder if he can tell how flustered you are, how wired you feel. Just from his words.
“What is it?” Taehyung asks, seeing you retreat back into your mind.
“Hmm?”
“You’re floating away from me. Come back to me, princess,” Taehyung murmurs.
You want to be vulnerable to him, expose bits and pieces of some of your not so nice parts. Maybe someday you will. But not today.
You want to admit to him that you’re not used to this, to the pet names, the missing a boy to this degree, the wanting him as much as you do. You want to bare your lonely heart out to him, but something holds you back.
“Uh, well if I’m your girl. Does that mean you’re my boy?” You ask with a bright grin, pushing your thoughts to the back of your mind.
Taehyung takes a few seconds to reply, words stolen by your pretty smile. And yet, he’s seen your smile burn brighter.
“I mean, that’s how it works, sweetheart,” Taehyung rolls his eyes with a laugh.
“I suppose, if I must,” You say with a yawn.
“Don’t make it sound like such a chore. To be my girl, I mean.”
“I’m honored. To be the chosen one.”
Taehyung stays on the phone with you until you start to doze off and jolt yourself awake. He has to go anyway, to get ready to do some more press with the boys.
“Sleep well, princess,” Taehyung’s voice is low and sweet, curling around you and pushing you closer to sleep. You mumble a response to him and say goodbye to him, sleep washing over you as soon as you hang up.
Before you fall asleep, you text Pari a quick text, telling her to let you know if she needs anything. And then you welcome sleep.

Requested: no, I’m going off a angst prompt list here and there.
A/N: I’ve always had this storyline for Jordan in my head but also for who it’s surrounded by, so therefore this one will have a name & it COULD be a series if there’s enough feedback that is! I’m shaping it by where we are now present time in the series and I’m excited that we’re getting season four with only three episodes out! YES!
Anyways since I wrote a piece for Chris I’ll do this in hc form and the next should be a full written out piece depending on what my day is looking like the next time I can write. Happy Sunday and if you’re experiencing another snow storm like I am, keep warm & safe!
warnings: usage of “foul language” , mentions of abuse & drugs
LOVE BLIND — Part i. | J. Baker
It was Layla’s bright idea for everyone to head up to big bear for winter vacation, after how this senior year was going— the teens all needed it
If there was any opportunity for Delphine-Soleil to get away from her parents, she was the first in line. So when Layla called her first through a Group FaceTime delivering the news, it took seconds for Delphine to get up and yank her hard-shell suitcase from underneath her bed
“Wait, is this just a girls trip?” Delphine asked, hunching back in front of her phone lens that was resting on her vanity
Layla took a deep inhale at that, “actually...I’m pretty much inviting everyone?”
Delphine let out what may have been the longest groan until Olivia popped into the group chat
“What’s the reason for this?” Olivia asked
“Layla wants to invite...everyone. Which I’m assuming means the boys, majority of them I like as you both know, but I know one is going to be up my ass in particular, so my peace will be interrupted at some point on this trip I’m so sure.” Delphine explained with her hands, something she commonly did, which Olivia pieced together quite quickly
Delphine-Soleil Wateridge was the childhood friend of both The Baker Twins and from a young age all the adults just knew Delphine and Jordan were going to be together. Of course if you looked at the situation then, you would wonder why the adults were so keen on forcing? Or speculating that these two children would be romantically involved but that’s another conversation for another day
Delphine couldn’t recall the first time she realized she actually had a crush on her best friend but a part of her was in deep denial about it for awhile; she couldn’t like Jordan. It was just not ideal for her?
She was more of the touchy-feely friend who had no issue holding your hand, resting her head on your shoulder, cuddling, etc. you could say her love language was touch and that’s how she expressed it if she cared for you. She was always like this, even as a kid with the Baker twins
Don’t get her wrong, she loved Jordan but she couldn’t be IN LOVE with him. Why? It just didn’t seem right, she literally grew up beside the kid and they’ve seen the gross, the ugly, the worse, and absolutely the best of each other but she didn’t believe in the whole “friends to lovers trope.” Delphine felt like that ruined relationships
It wasn’t until freshman year of high school when Jordan started to turn heads (from even the upperclassman)
when he got his first gf, “Hadley” Delphine slowly felt that she was more than jealous, she was in love with Jordan fucking Baker!
But that wasn’t even the worse part. He dated his first gf for maybe about a month or two then broke it off because he liked someone else and was trying out for the football team? The poor girl no longer fit into his criteria
Which brought more attention to him when he was on the team and then dated two more girls that same year and started spending less time around Delphine, which was whatever ya know? She was never dependent on Jordan Baker
She and Liv started to get into the party scene, which was not healthy at all since it became an addiction more so for liv but still an issue overall for delphine’s well being
It was sophomore year when Jordan hit his growth spurt and became muscular taking the gym seriously...TOO seriously while also encouraging Delphine to try out for track again since the other coach tried to get her on the team freshman year
Delphine was a bit of a diva and a shopaholic with a past of being a kleptomaniac if she couldn’t buy (which she could with her parents $ since her parents were wealthy) something she was going to steal it...she went to therapy for it and got rid of the habit but shopping? That was never going away
So when the thought of exercise was brought to her attention, she laughed about it but Jordan and Mr. Baker persuaded her since she was super fast as a kid and used to win the races on field day. She had the speed and the legs
Her father was thrilled that his daughter found a real hobby that didn’t require running up her credit card bill and her adoptive/step-mother was indifferent about it...she felt delphine could do something better with her time
You can’t say Delphine didn’t try cause she did try out, made the team, and then quit the team once she caught a few of the girls talking shit behind her back + she hated the pole vault and didn’t like being told what to do, her coach took this shit too seriously and delphine hasn’t done gymnastics since she was six? So wtf did she need to stretch her body out like she was Mrs. incredible???!
Fuck that team and fuck track and field
so she sat off from the field after she told pretty much the entire team they could kiss her ass, smoking a joint while letting the sun warm up her face when it suddenly became blocked “hey the world is big enough as it is, get your own damn spot ‘cause this one is mine, fucker.”
“Wow, your mouth gets worse every time someone pisses you off, Delly.” Jordan laughed moving to plop down beside his friend and bumped his shoulder with the fair-medium skinned girl’s
“Must be the Aries in her, Jordan.” Olivia’s voice came in from behind, approaching the two smiling with a shake of her head as she squinted out towards the field watching as the track team kept sneaking glances over at Delphine who kept the joint in her lips and raised both middle fingers in response
Jordan quickly reached over with a small laugh to pull delphine’s hands down who fought against him, “stop with the astrology bs, liv. It doesn’t matter.”
“Typical Taurus thing to say.”
Jordan frowned, “Are we not twins?”
“Taurus boy.” She corrected
“I’m a man.” Jordan argued, earning a snort from both girls
Nonetheless things took a turn for the worse for Delphine and Jordan’s relationship when it was the end of sophomore year where Jordan was freshly single and asked Delphine if they could be each other’s first so they could both be “prepared” when they found someone else to do the real deal with...
“it wouldn’t mean anything” according to Jordan
Delphine was at a lost for words when Jordan brought it to the table. Part of her didn’t expect this from Jordan or to at least ask HER to participate! Delphine’s never “done the deed” and never had guys that she claimed as her bf’s since she never got out of the talking stage
“It was a stupid idea, forget I ever asked.” Jordan tried to back pedal when Delphine sat silent after she closed her agape mouth a couple of times
“No...it was just bold.” Delphine said getting up from the kitchen stool, “let me think about it JB and I’ll get back you.”
“A-are you serious?” Jordan managed to get out as Delphine began retreating from the room with her school bag tossed on one shoulder, “h-h-ow long—
“Jordan! Don’t push this, I’ll let you know.” Delphine interrupted over her shoulder, trying to ignore the nerves that sat in her belly trying to leave the place as quick as possible
It’s not like she didn’t want to, it sounded like a not so bad idea? At this point, Delphine knew how she felt about Jordan so maybe she was letting this crush cloud her judgement into saying yes but she thought about it for a total of three days before they both set the date
And that’s when everything changed
Junior year came around and Jordan Baker was a complete asshole, a typical jock now. What del didn’t know was that he got himself a new fling maybe a month after they slept together and spent the entire summer with Ripley while continuously blowing del off to be with her instead
The drama around that? Was too much, and went too far with del having to beat ass which Jordan found humorous? His ego was too big for his brain now and it disgusted del. she didn’t want to be his friend anymore so...she stopped
Del and Jordan became enemies once he found out that she was involved with someone else!!!?
who then became physically, s*xually, and mentally abusive, which didn’t become knowledge until Olivia and Coop went snooping finding where the Pakistani girl was since her parents said she hasn’t been home in a week and went 2 weeks missing from school
This said drug abuser bf shockingly got off with probation and was still allowed at Beverly high which was not great for del’s state of mind
The best deal del was given was a restraining order against the guy, that was the BEST they could give her
she picked up stealing again, smoking weed more than usual, got some tats, cut her chest-length hair up to the nape of her neck, partied and slept around even tho that was always triggering for her now but she hid it well
No one was ever going to have control over her again not even Jordan Baker
There was a point where Jordan did have a change of heart after learning what she went through with that pos and even threw hands with the guy resulting in his suspension and finally an explosion for the other but he kept coming around to deal and taunt del until security finally caught him
Del and Jordan didn’t talk until he and ripley broke up or rather she broke up with him? And he felt like he needed to say something, realizing that a part of him was missing... but it all felt like insults on how del chose to live her life, she wasn’t doing anything different than what he was, except her situation was a little different as a result of her new persona
It hurt the both of them not to be friends anymore. Underneath all that anger that is. Friendship break ups were 1000x times worse because that always felt like a forever love, you feel more secure in friendships but unfortunately that didn’t work out for Jordan and del
she smoked and dropped acid while he slept around up until the point one hook up had him shook, miss. Simone was having his baby and Delphine sure had some shit to say about it
Until...it wasn’t his baby! yet he wanted to still stick around and del couldn’t believe Olivia was more here for this relationship than the previous ones. Del didn’t get it and maybe she didn’t have to because she was no longer in Jordan’s life
“well I guess that means you won’t be riding with us then?” Olivia asked with a hopeful look in her eyes
Delphine pushes her lips out in thought, “so there’s already car arrangements for this?”
Olivia cringed looking off to the side hoping Layla would jump in to answer, which she did, thankfully
“Uh, yeah! Olivia and I kinda discussed it. It would be Spencer, Coop, Patience, and I in my car. Asher and JJ are coming up together, I extended out a invitation to Vanessa—
“I’m sorry, what did you just say and why the hell would you do that?” Delphine asked, eyes wide and brows furrowed. Olivia let out a low sigh in response knowing this was coming.
Layla continued, “—but she’s not sure if her mom is going to allow her to since usually they have a bunch of family come in. We’re not planning to stay through Christmas or New Years, even though I wouldn’t mind that...I have to respect it.”
“Again, why? She’s not any of our friends, plus wasn’t she trying to start shit with Liv and Asher, to excuse the fact that they were emotionally cheating and with Asher’s pick me ass? Of all people?” Delphine was too confused about this and why Olivia seemed to be okay with it?
“We can’t put the entire blame on just Vanessa. It takes two and Asher lied in the first place, that’s not really Vanessa’s fault is it?” Layla tried to look at it from the Latina’s perspective
Delphine rolled her eyes ready to say more but Olivia spoke, “Guys! I’m not making it that big of a deal so neither should the two of you. Asher and I are done and are moving past it so who am I to stand in what he really wants? If that happens to be Vanessa, It’s fine. And I just want to have a good time with my friends, that’s it, okay?”
With a pop of her tongue Del went to say more, most likely a threat towards Asher but Layla cleared her throat already knowing how their hot-headed friend could be, “As I was saying, She’ll let me know by tonight since we’re leaving in two days! So that leaves Jordan, Simone, and Liv—
“I’m guessing that’s a no on riding with us then, Delleil?” Olivia asked using the nickname she often called the dark haired girl
“I’d much rather balance on my tongue the entire trip there as my source of transportation than ride in a car with your brother, k thanks? Liv.” Which erupted laughter between the other two girls behind their screens
“That’s a new one and very dramatic.” Layla commented with a smile still on her lips.
“And not to mention extra.” Liv added with a shake of her head
“I mean that.” Del stated earning a nod from both of her friends
“We believe you.” Olivia and Layla replied in unison
Del shuddered away the thought of being in a car with J*rdan for over 2 hrs, “anyways! Is that all for this guest list?” She pressed looking at her chipped nail polish
“There’s Chris...so maybe Vanessa can catch a ride with him only if she decides to come up, if not Chris can possibly ride with Liv and the rest? and I wanted to surprise Spencer with Darnell, he’s coming in for a few days to visit Mrs. James and Dillion, then he’ll be up and will be leaving first to get back to his mom.” Layla explained, Del didn’t miss how Layla kept throwing Liv’s exes her way.
Why didn’t she offer Chris to ride with her group instead? Chris is one of Spencer’s best friends...sure Layla’s car wasnt much bigger than Jordan’s but since she’s instructing everything couldnt she get a rental? but del wouldn’t say anything unless Olivia did. If she didn’t care then del would let this go
“What about Kia?” Del had to throw that in because she decided that she liked the girl the few times she was around her
Layla kept a smile on her face nonetheless too excited about getting to the snow, “I didn’t think to ask her.”
“Why? ‘Cause she’s Spencer’s ex?” Del added bluntly while Olivia muttered something, getting up from her couch taking her phone with her, knowing this could be huge disagreement or minor, it all depends on the girls
Layla flicked her eyes up at that, “that literally has nothing to do with anything and I don’t have her number. There’s nothing deeper to why I didn’t, I just didn’t. So I really wish you would stop looking for issues when there really isn’t any. I hope this trip brings you some time to relax, Delphine. it seems like you really need it.”
In response Delphine just laughed and said nothing else. She said all that she needed and Layla said what she felt so that was that. Shortly after Layla said she had to go, probably to get out of the tension but Delphine paid no mind to that
“why couldn’t you just, idk not bring Kia up?”
“Didn’t think it was a sore subject.”
“She’s Spencer’s ex.”
“Layla had no issue trying to throw Vanessa into the mix, there’s apparently no way to get rid of Asher, and she tried to throw Chris on you—
“I don’t have any problems with Chris. We’re cool, and don’t have any bad blood. We’re not exactly the best of friends but I don’t mind him being around? So why are you fishing for arguments?”
Delphine appeared offended, “I’m not! I’m just pointing out the obvious and calling it as I see it, you both know how I am and I don’t have to be quiet about things that I notice if I don’t want to. You say it doesn’t bother you and she says it just slipped her mind, fine. Whatever we don’t have to talk about it anymore, I wasn’t trying to be a bitch about it. Sheesh.”
Olivia sighed knowing that this was all true and moved on, “I’ll tell Jordan and Simone that you and I will ride up together and if Vanessa doesnt come, Chris can ride with us. Cool?”
“Do you even drive in the snow?” Del asked since she’s never been in a snowy environment with Olivia
Blinking Olivia answered, “no bitch that’s why you’re driving.”
“Then wtf? I should just drive my car instead of messing around with your mini rodent car.” Del fanned her hand
“You’re gonna stop talking shit about my baby and I have a beetle now not the Mini Cooper anymore, rip.” Olivia sniffed whipping away a fake tear
Del waved her fingers about in mock fear, “the difference? Please find it.”
“Okay, I’m gonna go now before I have to get ugly on you.” Olivia held the phone downwards as she finally made it to her bedroom
“You could never.”
“Aw, that was sweet. Who knew you could be?”
“Ha, whatever! Ttyl, love you.”
“Love you too bitch, tata.” Olivia waved as she plopped on her bed with an umph
Two days later and Del was more than ready to get away from her household
The night before she kept her partying to low key, smoking it up and dancing in her room and had her 6 ft fling come over to enjoy the party who thought it was fine to spend the night but she was too slumped after taking her bubble bath to kick him out—plus he was warm and added to her peaceful slumber
she woke up late, not super late but enough to sleep through two of her alarms and not all five. Liv already sent her a text an hour ago to see if she was up since it was del who was coming to pick her up
which meant Vanessa was coming...
“i know you’re just getting up so I’m out getting us coffee and I hope by the time I get back home, you’ll be leaving to come and scoop me.” — liv
Del smirked sending a few emoji’s before she untangled herself from her fling and went into her connected bathroom to get ready for the road trip
she took her time since she wasn’t a morning person but tried to move not like a sloth since this wasn’t school but eventually she got herself together throwing the sunglasses she left on the bathroom counter over her tired eyes before entering her room again
She saw her fling—sorry Cody, sitting on the edge of the bed rubbing his eyes as he glanced over Delphine’s clothed frame, “Aw, you’re leaving me already?”
“yup, remember how I said i was finally getting away from this place for awhile? Today’s the day!” Delphine cheered moving around her room as her phone went off back to back as she searched for her desired jacket
Cody tilted his head to the side, “and im not invited?”
Delphine had her back to Cody as she dug through her closet to latch onto her faux brown cow print fur jacket with satisfaction but cringed as she realized what was asked, “are the mountains really your thing?”
Cody chuckled, “I’m originally from Pennsylvania and always go back to visit my dad, I’m no stranger to greenery, baby.”
Delphine shrugged draping the coat over one arm and moved back to her mess of a bed to grab her phone to read multiple messages in the group chat, “oh. then do you want to come and keep me company then?”
Cody tapped his chin in thought gaining Del’s attention as she looked up from her phone. It was his choice if he wanted to, they weren’t initially a couple and never talked about it but they definitely enjoyed each other’s company so she wouldn’t be mad if he did or didn’t. Del didn’t want to get too attached even tho she was beginning to like him!!! just a little bit but will she tell him this? Nooooo! just in case things changed
“I mean if you’re serious and not just asking because you feel bad? I’d have to go home and grab some things, and I’ll be behind you guys.” Cody rubbed his hand against the back of his buzzed hair, waiting to see what Delphine would say
Delphine reached out for Cody’s hand which he gladly handed over, she brought the back of his hand up to her lips and placed a kiss there. “I’ll see you tonight then, and I’ll send you the addy.” Which brought a smile to Cody’s lips as he pulled up her sunglasses to see the sincerity in her eyes before he tried to cup her face and bring it in for a kiss
“Uh uh, no can do. Morning breath!” Del warned, dropping on the bed and rolled from his reach to latch onto her suitcase and make a break for the door
“I’m gonna make you regret that later, and don’t forget to text me!” Cody called out, leaning back on the bed with his arms folded behind his head in his shirtless glory
And Delphine was off to pick up Olivia
As soon as the curly haired girl finally got into the car del gave Liv a quick peck right on the lips when she handed over her signature order: venti iced chai latte with oat milk and 4 pumps of hazelnut syrup
It wasn’t the first time Delphine’s laid one out on Olivia, the first was when she was drunk off her ass and Olivia questioned it the day after if there was anything more to it and if they needed to clear the air but delphine laughed saying she was already in love with one of the bakers she didn’t need to add Olivia to the mix. “That’d be too much heartbreak for me Liv! Sorry if I made you uncomfortable, or if it was borderline harassment. I love you, no doubt about that but not past friendship and sisterhood.” Olivia wiped the fake sweat from her brow as the two friends shared a laugh and a hug
“Good morning to you too,” Olivia greeted with a smile on her lips and a shake of her head holding onto her own beverage which was hot and transferred into her yeti, “I know you don’t have heels on.” She caught on taking a look at the driver’s fit
Del sighed in satisfaction at her drink, “and why wouldn’t I? I had to make myself feel sexy somewhere and I wasn’t doing my makeup this early and these babies are giving, honey!” She put her seat back as far as possible from the pedals and wiggled her sweats covered thighs like a stripper
Olivia snorted as she got comfortable in Del’s Honda HRV before connecting her phone into the aux to give the ride more life than del was already giving

Hi babes - a request that’s kind of specific- (readerxcarisi) this would take place in season 19, episode 8 where Rollins and Carisi are at the shitty motel and they have that moment. So the idea would be that reader is also a detective, maybe newer or something tagging along with them two and reader knows Carisi has a thing for Rollins and reader was with him when they saw the guy leaving Amanda’s room. Reader is there for him after and he realizes maybe he was chasing the wrong girl??
New Girl
A/N: Hey Anon! I had to rewatch this to do some of the dialogue from it (I condensed the first scene so it’s not incredibly long.) but it’s a good idea to rewtach this ep before reading....unless you remember that Heather was the catfisher and stuff. Anyways, this is a little longer cause t’s slower paced. I like the idea of being there for someone without needing to ask. Also yes, I’m taking the chance to flex some sports knowledge, sorry not sorry. Hope you enjoy <3

“They traced the IP address to West Virginia,” Sonny said to Olivia, as they both came into the precinct.
“Good, get a John Doe warrant and send it to the local precinct,” Liv replied.
“Done and done.”
Liv gave him a smirk. “Then fill up your gas tank. Fin, you’re riding shotgun.”
“Oh, hell no; I’m allergic to West Virginia,” Fin said, leaning back in his chair.
Liv sighed. “Okay, Rollins, you’re up.”
“Really?” she whined.
Liv glanced between the two, already looking tired of this crap. “Come on, someone’s gotta translate for him,” she joked, gesturing at Sonny, who rolled his eyes.
“I’ll go,” you perked up. You were still the new kid, so you were jumping at every opportunity to go out in the field. Plus, you had a massive crush on Sonny, and being stuck in a car with him seemed like a good chance to learn more about him.
Liv gave you a relieved smile. “Thank you; at least someone here wants to work. But I’d also like someone with experience; Rollins, you’re going too.”
***************
The drive wasn’t awkward…at least, not for Sonny and Amanda. They’ve been partners for years now, chatting up a storm. You sat in the back seat, listening in on their stories, jumping in when appropriate, but otherwise fading into the leather behind you. This wasn’t what you had hoped for when you thought about going to West Virginia with Sonny, but at least you were getting some experience in the field…right?
The arrest was quick, painless. You actually found yourself feeling bad for Heather as you had her arrested in her mother’s home. But then you remembered what happened to Katie, and it solidified your resolve.
When Amanda suggested you three, and Chuck, the local officer, go to The Barrel—the local bar—for information, you’re first thought was that maybe alcohol would help you loosen up around Sonny. But after a few shots and a cocktail, all you saw was how he looked at Amanda, and you cursed yourself for not seeing it sooner. Why would he ever fall for someone like you when he could be with someone like her? And they were already so close; what was the point of trying?
Complaining about a headache, you excused yourself, telling them you’d see them in the morning.
“Want me to walk ya back to your room?” Sonny asked, looking concerned.
Your heart fluttered at the thought, but then you remembered the heart eyes he’d been giving Amanda all evening. “No, I’m fine. Thanks though.” You wandered back to the hotel across the parking lot, wiping the tears from your face, locking yourself in your room.
******************
You were in the hotel lobby making yourself coffee when Sonny came in.
“Morning, [y/n],” he said, smiling at you. “Feeling better today?”
You melted at his smile, tears threatening to form again, but you pushed down your feelings. “Uh, yeah, much better. How’d you sleep? Hopefully you and Rollins weren’t up too late.”
“Nah, it was fine. We may have started a bar fight, though,” Sonny grinned at you, and you giggled, trying to picture him fighting anyone. He went about making two coffees and grabbing an assortment of free breakfast foods. He put everything on a tray and you followed him out, heading towards Amanda’s room as he called Liv to give her an update. But you both froze as a man came out of Amanda’s room, both of them chatting for a moment before he left. And Sonny’s face fell as he turned and went towards his SUV instead.
You gave Amanda’s closed door one last look before you went after Sonny. He stopped at his SUV, putting the tray on top so that he could fish his keys out of his pocket. He sniffled and it was only then you realized he was crying.
“Hey, you okay?” you asked tentatively. But you knew the answer—of course you did. Because you had felt your heart shatter last night.
“Fine,” he grunted, opening the driver’s door and sliding in. This was sure to be a fun ride back to New York. Grabbing the tray he had left on the roof of his SUV, you climbed in behind the passenger seat.
You sat in silence for a few awkward moments before you said softly, “I’m so sorry, Sonny. If you ever need to talk, I’m here for you.”
*****************
The ride back was worse, to say the least. The tension in the air was thick, not to mention, you sat in back with Heather, who seemed to be daydreaming about meeting The Monster. You found yourself watching Sonny, or at least, the half of his face that you could see. He was quiet, subdued; so unlike him, and you realized you hated it. You wanted him to be his laughing, jokey self. You tried asking him questions—and Amanda, so you weren’t too obvious—but he wasn’t all there, his mind somewhere far away. Eventually, you gave up. falling into the silence of the drive.
*****************
Liv mercifully gave the three of you the rest of the day off after delivering Heather to the precinct. You were just debating what to do for dinner when there was a knock at your door. Curious, you unlocked it, opening it to see Sonny shuffling on his feet on your doorstep.
“Son?” you asked in confusion.
He gave you a nervous smile. “Hey, can I come in?”
“Uh, yeah. ‘Course.” You moved out of the way, letting him enter your brownstone.
You both stood there awkwardly before he asked, “have you had dinner yet? If not, I can maybe whip something up? Or I can order takeout?”
“I haven’t yet, no.” Now thoroughly confused, you shrugged, playing along. “Did you have something in mind? I was thinking of ordering a pizza or something….”
“Pizza sounds great. Here, I’ll order. You like pepperoni, right?”
******************
You both idly chatted while waiting for the pizza to arrive, the awkward tension still palpable. Sonny didn’t say why he came over and you didn’t ask. The delivery man showed up soon enough, and Sonny insisted that he pay, so you let him. You found some beers in your fridge, offering one to him, which he gratefully accepted. As you ate, you started talking more, just about where you were before transferring to Manhattan, why you decided to come here of all places. The tension in the air subsided, and slowly, Sonny started talking about himself; his family, his recent accomplishment at Fordham—you had started just after he had passed the bar exam, so you didn’t hear much about it—and how much he loved his job.
“So, now that you passed the bar, are you going to leave us for Barba?” you asked. Sonny cocked an eyebrow, a grin on his face. “Oh my god, that’s not what I meant, and you know it,” you giggled, your cheeks burning.
Sonny chuckled at the implication. “I—I don’t know yet. I really do love my job as a detective. But I always wanted to be a lawyer, ya know? And now I can be. But with Mike passing…it just doesn’t seem like the right time.” He took a sip of his beer. “Hey, maybe with you taking over, I’ll be able to. I’d feel less bad leaving the department behind; they won’t be as short-staffed.”
It hurt to think about Sonny leaving; you were just getting to know him. “I still got a long way to go, though. Liv wouldn’t even let me go with you to West Virginia alone. What was it she said? ‘I need someone experienced’ or some shit.” You rolled your eyes.
“Hey, I was in your shoes before, too. It’ll pass quicker than you can blink.” Sonny spun the bottle in his hands. “Besides, I almost wish it was just us, and that Rollins wasn’t…” he trailed off, his eyes staring at nothing.
You swallowed hard. “You like her, don’t you?”
“Hm? Nah…I mean, she’s my partner, yeah? I have her back, and I know she’s got mine…. We’re close and…yeah, I don’t know.” He looked everywhere but at you, a slight pink tint in his cheeks.
You nodded sympathetically. As much as you wanted him to like you, you just wanted him to be happy. And if she made him happy, then you’d have to live with that. “Being so close with someone for so long, it’s not shocking if feelings…developed. Have you talked to her about it at all?”
He shook his head. “Look, I appreciate you trying to help me with this, but can we stop talking about Rollins? Please?”
“Of course. Sorry…. I got ice cream, if you want some dessert?” you tried.
Sonny sat there for a moment, staring a hole into your floor. “You know what? I think I’m gonna get out of your hair.” He stood, stretching. “Thank you for letting me crash your night for a little bit.”
“You sure? You can stay as long as you need,” you replied, but he was already moving towards your front door, sliding his jacket on.
“Yeah, I’ve taken up enough of your time. See ya at work tomorrow.” And then he gave you that heart-melting smile before he was gone.
****************
Whether Fin or Liv could feel the tension in the precinct the next day, you weren’t sure. But Sonny had gone back to his nontalking self, sitting at his desk, working through Heather’s posts. At some point, Amanda invited him to lunch, but he declined. They had a few clipped, whispered words that you didn’t hear, but after she left, Sonny looked upset again.
Standing, you went to the coffee maker, making two cups—one for yourself and one for Sonny. You came back, placing it on his desk, within hands reach. He glanced up at you, and you gave him a soft smile before moving back to your desk, diving in on something to help Barba with his case against Heather.
After another half an hour, Sonny got up, coming over to your desk. “Wanna go grab lunch?”
You looked from him to the mountain of posts and pictures you still had to go through, then back at him. “Please,” you groaned, grabbing your jacket and following him out.
****************
For the next two weeks, you and Sonny would get lunch. Or, if it wasn’t possible to take lunch at the same time, you’d bring each other something, switching off each day. You both also seemed to know when the other ran out of coffee, placing a refill on one another’s desk just as you’d finish the last sip. Conversation started to flow easier between you two, and you found that you highly enjoyed just chatting with him. Every now and again, he’d come over to your place, and you’d just talk; mostly about work, sometimes about your families. You still had a crush on him, but you shoved it down, trying to not let it interfere with work, or with your new-found friendship. Though, you noticed with some glee that he no longer looked at Amanda with that sparkle in his eyes.
On Saturday night, Sonny showed up at your doorstep, a 12 pack in one hand, takeout in the other. “Are you not watching the hockey game tonight?” he asked, his Islanders sweater on proudly.
“I, uh, wasn’t planning on it?” you replied, confused. In all your talks, neither of you had mentioned sports, except that Sonny had played basketball as a kid.
“Pffttt. You are now,” he said, pushing into your place. You giggled, following him to your couch. Plopping down next to him, you grabbed a beer while he flipped through the stations until he found the game. He cheers’ed you, then you both took a sip, watching and yelling at the screen. It was hard not to get caught up in the excitement with him, even if you didn’t know all the rules, nor particularly cared about hockey. You just enjoyed spending time with him.
At some point during the first period, Sonny put his arm on the back of the couch, his legs spread. You never understood how someone so lanky could take up so much room, but it made you smile. He just looked so natural, so comfortable on your couch, and you loved it.
“Come on, Lehner! You gotta cover your 5-hole!” Sonny yelled at the screen, groaning as the Islanders let in a goal.
“Uh, explain that to me, please?” you asked, confused.
Sonny sat up, leaning his elbows on his knees, moving closer to you. “Okay, so, ya see how the goalie, Lehner, has his legs so spread? Well, when the Pens shoot, that’s where they aim, ‘cause it’s his weak-spot and they know it. He’s slow to get his glove there and it’s an easy goal.”
“So…the 5-hole is between the legs?” you guessed.
“Exactly; see? You’re a quick learner,” Sonny smiled at you as the game cut to commercial.
You grinned back. “Well, I have a good teacher.”
Sonny’s eyes lit up with an idea. He put his beer down, then turned to face you. “Here, stand.” You cocked an eyebrow at him but obeyed. “Put your arms out and spread your legs…not that far; be comfortable. Okay, so, right here,” –he put his hand to the left side of your face, above your arm— “is the 1-hole. The opposite side here, that’s the 2-hole. Then here,” –he went back to your left side, under your arm this time— “is the 3-hole, and—”
“The opposite is the 4, and between the legs is 5?” you finished.
That lopsided grin was back. “Exactly.” He looked at the screen as the commercials ended. “Ooh, game’s back, here.” Sonny’s hands went to your hips, sending electricity through you. He dragged you back onto the couch next to him, your leg touching his, and his arm around your shoulders. You couldn’t pay attention to the game as your whole body heated, a stupid grin on your face from the closeness. At some point, you relaxed against him, snuggling into his side. If it bothered him, he didn’t say anything. In fact, quite the opposite—when he wasn’t groaning or gesturing at the screen, he had his arm around you, holding you to him.
Once the game was over, Sonny helped you clean up. “Thanks for letting me crash your night again,” he said—the same thing he said every night when he showed up unannounced.
“Anytime,” you replied. “Are you sure you’re okay to drive?”
“Sober as a fox,” he smiled.
You raised an eyebrow at him. “Is that even a saying?”
“It is now,” he declared, a mischievous gleam in his eyes. “Really though; I’m fine. Thank you for worrying.”
You walked him to the door, holding it open for him. Sonny stopped just outside your place, turning back around to look at you. “Text me when you get home, so I know you’re safe, you said softly.
“Okay, I will…. I, uh, wanted to thank you. Not just for tonight, but for every night…and lunches, and coffees, and just—letting me be me for a little.” He gave you the sweetest smile, and you thought your chest was going to burst.
“Yeah, anytime, Sonny. I want you to feel…safe with me,” you replied.
“I do…I really do.”
You were leaning against your doorframe, and he had one hand on the wall next to it, leaning against it. Slowly, he leaned forward, his face getting closer to yours. Swallowing, and praying you weren’t misinterpreting, you leaned in, too, until your lips met in a soft, chaste kiss. Sonny’s mouth was gentle against yours, his lips smooth, and you stood up on your tiptoes, pressing yourself harder against him, afraid that he’d realize what was happening and that he’d pull away, disgusted. And though he did pull away, his eyes were still closed in bliss, a small smile on his face, one that slowly grew the longer you looked, making your own smile appear.
“You sure you don’t want to stay the night?” you asked, your voice hopeful.
Sonny looked deeply into your eyes, then to your lips, then back to your eyes. “Well, if you insist, maybe I can be persuaded to crash your night a little longer.”

NOORA REMAKES RANKING
Eva remake ranking
Jonas remake ranking
William remake ranking
Isak remake ranking
Even remake ranking
Sana remake ranking
So here we continue :)
If anyone actually reads this, feel free to discuss in the comments. Also, those are only my opinions and I don't intend to force them on anyone or to judge any real person who doesn't agree with me. It's just a fun thing to do ;)
(I didn't watch Skam Italia so Eleanora obvioulsy won't be included)
1- Liv Reijners (Skam nl)
I related a whole lot to Isa when she saw Liv for the first time and instantly fell in love. Normally, it takes a bit of time for me to warm up to the Noora, because I always find her too know-it-all and condescending for my taste, but Liv's self-confidence and wits won me over immediately. She was just so mezmering I don't really know how to explain it but I just feel like she is the sort of person you feel completely safe around for some reason? Plus, while I think her season was a real mess, I also very appreciated that she had a side plot just for herself that didn't end up being Noah-centered, via her relationships with her parents, and which ended up giving her more depth and I loved seeing her being brave enough to stand up to them in her own way. She was still the mom friend, but her chidlishness and weirdery were still allowed to shine too, and her relationship with Engel defintely felt less condescending than with her other counterparts. Her badassery felt more earned and not just there to be there. She was kind of a bitch sometimes, but it was in a way that was so cool that I just loved it? And she wasn't meant to be perfect either, like the Noora often is, there were many situations were she did not actually know the right thing to do (like at Noah's mum's funeral), and asked for help in certain moments instead of thinking she was always right. And it was compensated by how much kindess she actually had in her. Also she is so BEAUTIFUL and has an amazing voice <3. (I may or may not have a tiny crush on her I think)
2- Zoe Loockx (WTFock)
She annoyed me a lot in season 1, as I though she was really snobbish and hypocritical (lecturing Amber about girl solidarity and how you should never judge a friend so easily even though she is making fun of her behind her back). But, I learned to really appreciate her flaws later on when they got town downed and she seemed to be there less to be the woke activist friend there to prove how woke she is and more to just be a good friend and a real human being. Her bitchiness made her more endearing at times, actually, and most importantly more real, instead of being too perfect (and also made her couple with Senne much more cute and believable). Her season did a very good job at letting the scene breathe and putting us in her head, so I really felt for her too. She was also the little shade of light in season 4 when she was the only one not kissing Kato's ass (she will always have my uncontional love for that, even if it didn't last <3). Now, she is more willing to actually listen instead of instantly thinking she is right all the time, and I really like to see this development.
3- Mia Winter (Druck)
She is the sweetest, and has a really calm aura and that's probably why I really like her. I loved that she actually got called out for the way she acted towards Kiki in season 2 AND tried to be better after that. Her taking an episode from Amira for something that could have easily happen in the background put a staint in our relationship, though. Also, I found her a bit boring at times. But I loved seeing how mature she could be while still having flaws and making mistakes. I loved her relationship with Amira too, it was so adorable!
4- Grace Olsen (Skam Austin)
I did not click with her like with the others above, but something about her was so endearing. She is definitely the Noora that made me laugh the most, like with the dance clip for example ^^. Plus I really liked her season, how the other girls were given their own side plots and we got the chance to see Grace helping them and being there for them. Her final speech to Daniel made me so mad at some parts (the "oh I rejected you only because I didn't think I deserved your love and not at all because you were a creepy stalker asshole" especially), but her refusing to appoligize for being sexually assaulted and that Daniel should stop being a little bitch because SHE was the victim here was such a delight to hear (finally a Noora finally said it). I also really loved how Jo and a bit Kelsey too called her out for her shtty actions, even though it wasn't really dwell upon after that. And, while she was a bit condescending, I appreciated her repeating to Kelsey that Daniel was not her boyfriend when Kelsey was very dilusional about it (and i call bullshit what Kelsey said in season 2 that she never wanted her sleeping with Daniel be anything more than that before they had sex because she literaly said she wanted them to be closer after that in season 1 but I disgress). Her "stop being a fucking cliche" speech, too, was very badass, in a "I'm gonna whisper in your ear every ways I could murder you and get away with it" kind of way. So yeah, I really enjoyed her, and I don't think she gets enough hyped tbh.
5- Nora Grace (Skam Espana)
This is the same case than Jorge for the Jonas remakes ranking as in I do not feel much for her. She is still very sweet and kind and a good friend, and really clever too. The concept of her season was definely the best out of all the remakes for a Nora season, although I would like to see one where the abuser IS the Willem and it wasn't really well executed in my opinion. But all in all, I think she also lacked the fire and confidence that makes Noora Noora.
6- Manon Demissy (Skam France)
I actually really enjoyed her character in the begining. Like Liv, althought not as much, I really liked from the start. She instantly felt like a real person, and my introvert ass who still wants to have friends relished in the idea of this girl coming to you and wanting to be your friend, but who does not feel too intimating either. I really liked her relationship with Daphné too, it was really sweet and honestly I wouldn't have minded if they had gotten together, with all the flirty moments skamfr added between them. I loved her fiery temperament, how she got angry and was not here for this shit, it was a nice change from the normally calm and wise Noora. But then, all of that was lost after her season. She never actually learned anything, lost the fire inside her, and in season 4 she was just the worst, never taking Imane's side or at least try to understand her even after Imane confided in her about her issues. There was also the whole thing of her dating Sofiane even though she had an inkling Imane was into him. The fact that so much of Imane's season, and even Lucas's season, revolved around her instead of the main and the theme the current season talked about was so frustrating too. It was almost a relief to learn that she wouldn't be here for season 5, especially when the writers had to rewrite much of the new seasons because of her absense, so that means she probably STILL would have taken the spotlight from the main had the actress could have been there. Also, in season 6, she couldn't be there for her friend at Daphne's mum FUNERAL but came back for a party wow, and with her boyfriend whom she knows hurt Daphné a lot. Well at least she asked Lola to keep an eye on Daphne so there is that, althought it once again felt so condescending. The fact that she couldn't come back also means that we never got the chance to warm up to her again after season 4. She still deserved a better ending than ending up with Charles and have him have more lines than her in season 6, tho :(

The Roommate - Chapter II - The Invitation
Word Count: 1481
MASTERLIST SERIES MASTERLIST
A/N: This took me way too long to update, but next chapter everyone is going to meet, I hope you like it! Also just so you know, my request are open!
It was a long flight home, and the boys were simply happy to be getting back. They had a long week of filming a head of them, and the weren’t overly happy with the results of the weekend. Madison told them she would pick them up from the airport so they wouldn’t have to cab back to the apartments. As promised, she was waiting at the pickup gate, “hey guys, how’d it goes?” She asked, hoping for a good outcome. She flinched when all three boys groaned getting into her car. Rudy sitting in the front. “There are too many weird people in LA, we couldn’t find anyone.”
“Yeah, either they were too smelly, or had pets, or something else.” Austin spoke up sitting in the back next to Drew.
“Ugh guys that sucks. I’m sure you’ll find someone. I mean even if you had to find another place, you’re giving the landlord a lot of notice maybe he’ll let you out of the lease.” Madison tried to encourage them.
“What did you guys do all weekend?” Drew asked changing the subject. “Oh, you know, the normal hung out at Chase and Maddy’s. We were thinking of having a party this weekend. It’s going to be a lot of the cast last week filming, kind of a celebration thing.” She explained to the boys.
“Sounds like fun, can you drop me off at Elaine’s?” Rudy asked the brunette. She had been texting him all day, it wasn’t normal for them to go a whole weekend without seeing each other since they started dating.
Once Rudy got to Elaine’s apartment, he put the code in and went up, walking in without even knocking. “Hey baby, I missed you.” He spoke, walking up to her engulfing her in a bone crushing hug. “Hey, how did the roommate hunt go?” She asked, wanting to feel the situation out before she mentions anything about Oliva. They walked over to the couch and got comfortable as Rudy explained what happened. “I just feel bad you know. I’m bailing on them and I don’t want them to get stuck with a shitty roommate.” Rudy explained to her, running his hands through her hair. “Well, I might have a solution to your problem.” She spoke up, looking up at him. He raised his eyebrows motioning for her to explain.
“Do you remember my friend from college Oliva? I met up with her for lunch and she was telling me about a job in LA that she was considering taking, but she needed a roommate. Do you think Austin and Drew would mind having a girl for a roommate, Liv’s great, and she cleans!” Elaine said trying to sell the idea to him. Rudy thought about it for a minute, they probably wouldn’t mind. “I mean I don’t know, I could ask them, what does she do?” He asked. “She’s a paralegal. She works a lot, apparently she’s taking someone’s MAT leave at a smaller firm.” Elaine explained. “Well, I can ask them tomorrow when we’re filming, but can we go to bed I’m so tired.” Rudy whined, both trying to get a good night’s rest.
The next day Rudy was scheduled to film with Drew and some extra’s they hired. They were filming the midsummer’s episode which required everyone to be dressed up in nice suits. Rudy walked over to the wardrobe trailer to get his suit on for his character. When he got in, Drew was there getting ready dressed in a blue suit. “Hey just the guy I wanted to see.” Rudy spoke up, making Drew look up at him. “Hey man, what’s up?” Drew asked while on of the girls fixed his suit. “Elaine was telling me about a friend of hers that was looking for a roommate in LA. Only problem is that it’s a girl, would that bother you guys?” Rudy explained trying gage his reaction. Drew thought about it for minute. He had grown up with two sisters, and didn’t really know if he wanted to live with girl, “what does she do?” He asked, wanting to get more information before he committed to anything. “Uh a lawyer or something, I don’t know something to do with law. Ask Elaine when you see her, it’s her old college roommate.” Rudy explained going into a dressing room to get changed.
“Do you think Austin would mind though?” Rudy hollered out, just as Austin was walking in. “Would I mind what?” He asked curious about what was being discussed “Uh, having a girl for a roommate, I guess Elaine’s friend is moving to LA.” Drew explained, wanting to get the reaction of his friend. “Oh yeah that would be fine. Girls always make the place smell nice. What’s her name?” Austin asked Rudy. “Oliva, I’ve only seen old college pictures of her put Elaine said she’s nice.” Rudy told the two boys. “Well, when can we meet her?” Drew asked, wanting to meet her before committing not as sold on the idea as Austin was. “How about we all go for lunch or something, maybe Tuesday?” He suggested thinking a more neutral thing was a good idea. “Yeah sure, Tuesday works for me.” Austin said, Drew nodding in response.
To say that Oliva had been busy all weeks was and understatement. She had been prepping for court all week. It was big case, and she was lucky to be able to help. It was her speciality; she would help investigate different people and gather important information towards the case. She loved her job, she basically lived out of her car, but still felt very professional. She moved around so much that she didn’t really need to have an office.
She had promised Elaine that she would come over and meet the two guys she wanted her to live with but honestly couldn’t find the time. She had blown off lunch one too many times and couldn’t believe that hadn’t found someone else to live with them.
Oliva was sitting in her car, trying to stuff a bit of lunch in before her next meeting with a client. She was listening to the radio flipping through Instagram when her phone started to ring. Elaine was calling her, she cursed herself, knowing her friend was trying to reschedule plans.
“Hey Elaine, I’m a little busy right now, can I call you back?” Oliva asks quickly, trying to get her off the phone. “I can hear the radio Liv; you’ve got me on speaker phone.” She responded bluntly into the phone. Oliva reached over and turned the stereo down, upset that she got caught in a lie. “Why did you cancel plans? Come on, I thought you wanted roommates, you can’t leave them hanging like this.” Elaine scolded her through the phone.
“I know, I’ve just been busy. I don’t mean to keep canceling, plus I don’t want to meet them over lunch it’s awkward, I’m and awkward person.” If she was being honest it was more of her insecurities getting to her. She had always been on her own, never having anyone to tie her down. She felt if she took a place with these guys she would be stuck there, and Oliva was terrible with commitment.
“Okay, well why don’t you come over for a party and then you can meet them that way, more people less awkwardness. I think their going to love you Oliva, they’re nice guys. Rudy said they seemed happy to have you!” She hyped her up. Elaine was always the more out going one, never scared to take a leap of faith. “When is this party, and am I going to know anyone besides you and Rudy?” She asked, not really wanting to go. “It’s Friday night, and probably not but that’s okay it’s just the cast and couple of other people. You’ll have fun Liv, I’ll text you the address, be there around 8, sound good?” Elaine asked, hoping her friend would take the offer.
Oliva pondered the offer for a minute. Should she go? She did have the whole weekend off with no plans. Even if she stopped by for an hour it would be better then sitting at her place watching a shitty movie eating take out again. She sighed into the phone. “Ugh okay, but I can stay for like an hour top. Then I’ll have to leave.” She reasoned with Elaine; she could almost see the excitement on her face. “Okay perfect! I’ll see you Friday, we normally do brunch the next you should come! And bring those jello shots you made back in college!” “Elaine, I’m not going to have time for shots.” Oliva said to her, “I know what you said, just bring them!” And with that Elaine hung up on her before she could protest anymore.

A sudden revelation came to me : the big twin besties!!! Davey Sarah Mike Ike would be chaos if they’re together but that is okay bcs we love them. That is all thank you💕
They would!! I’m gonna do them in modern AU, so I hope that’s okay, Rai!!
This is going to be pure chaos. Nothing else. Literally no part of this is serious. It’s just pure dumbassery among friends.
Also Les definitely does dance competitions. He goes to the same studio as Race. He competes in a mini division and he does tap and hip hop and his group wins. Fight me.
Tw: swearing.
...
“Davey, pop the popcorn faster!” Sarah hollered from the living room.
“Sarah, shut the fuck up!” Davey hollered back. He loved his sister, but she annoyed the hell out of him.
Well, Les did, too. He guessed it was a sibling thing in general, but there was something about knowing someone since before birth that gave you a special ability to get on their nerves.
Plus, it wasn’t like he could make the microwave work any faster.
“What are we watching tonight?” he called while he waited.
“Isn’t it obvious?” Sarah shouted indignantly.
At the same time, Mike yelled, “We’re binge-watchin’ Liv and Maddie!”
“Oh, of course! That’s so fuckin’ obvious!” Davey shook his head, wishing he could stop himself from smiling as he muttered to himself, “We’re such huge fucking dorks.”
They were, of course, watching Liv and Maddie because they were two sets of twins left alone in a house for the night, and that tv show was about a pair of twins. The Jacobs parents were taking Les to a dance competition and the Guzman parents were going to a wedding.
Honestly, Davey was pretty sure they’d left them all together because out of the four of them, Sarah was the only good cook, Mike was the only good driver, Ike was the one who knew how to operate a can opener, and Davey was the one with common sense. Together, they formed a fully-functional teenager.
Also, they all already had partners, so the parents trusted them to be left alone all night together, unlike when Sarah and Ike asked if they could have Jojo, Hotshot, Katherine, and Jack over, too.
Davey heard the TV start up and silently willed the microwave to work faster.
“Ya can’t start without Davey, Sar—“
“Ike, I don’t know how to break this to ya, but I don’t give a shit.”
Honestly, Davey had expected that, “Thanks for tryin’, Ike!”
“No problem, Dave!”
The popcorn finally finished popping, and Davey grabbed the huge bag of M&Ms on the way out of the kitchen with it before going to join his sister and friends in watching Liv and Maddie’s shenanigans.
Ah yes. The ultimate twin night. Admittedly, the feral energy of all four of them was better than it would’ve been if it was just him and Sarah.
And Ike was smirking at his phone, which of course meant Davey had to tease him.
“Textin’ Hotshot, huh?” he asked, poking him in the shoulder.
Ike batted his hand away, “Shut up.”
Mike laughed, “Ooh, that means there’s somethin’ to hide.”
Sarah slung an arm around his shoulders, “Are you gonna fight? Cause I honestly can’t decide who’d win.”
“Nope,” Davey said automatically, “Can’t do that. We can’t have any death matches destroying the living room or our folks will never let us do this again.”
“I guess the blood would ruin your carpet.”
“Well, Mikey, it’s not like I don’t know how to get blood out of things.”
“Why—oh. Okay.”
Sarah laughed maniacally at the look on his face. It wasn’t that he looked grossed out or anything, just kind of surprised to be thinking about it.
Davey was pretty familiar with having to grab spare pads from the hall closet if the bathroom ran out and tagging along on milkshake runs during Sarah’s time of month, but he guessed a boy without sisters wouldn’t have to think about that kind of thing.
“So, how are things with Hotshot?” he asked, changing the subject.
Ike shrugged, “Good. How’s Jack?”
“He’s over here like, all the time,” Sarah said, rolling her eyes, “Or Davey’s over there. It’s cute in a gross way.”
“Fight me, Sarah. You’re the same way with Katherine.”
“Bitch—“
“Stuff with Jojo is good, by the way,” Mike chimed in, “God, I love him.”
“We get it, you’re cute, now shut up.”
Sarah swatted him, “That’s not very nice, Isaac.”
“Yeah, those are bold words from someone who’s baby pictures I have access to,” Mike agreed.
“You wouldn’t.”
“Try me, bitch.”
“Again, we can’t have a death match without destroying stuff,” Davey reminded them, “So can we just kick back and watch our show?”
Ike butted his head against Davey’s shoulder like a cat affectionately, “We should skip forward a couple seasons so we can watch Liv and Holden break up and cry.”
“No,” Sarah said immediately, “My eyeliner looks really good today.”
“You’re at a sleepover,” Davey pointed out, “Why did you even do your eyeliner?”
“David, I swear to God.”
“You swear to God what?”
“Don’t listen to him,” Mike said, reaching over to hug her, “You look fuckin’ amazing and you and Kathy usually make the rest of us look like slobs.”
“Aw, thanks Michael.”
“Don’t call me Michael.”
They actually managed to watch about half the episode without talking, before Ike shattered the silence.
“Okay, but do we think Joey’s gay?”
“I think Willow’s obsession with him is creepy and it’s super questionable how the writers played it off for laughs,” Mike admitted, “I think Joey does like girls, though. He has chemistry with a few different girls for like one episode each.”
“But he definitely has a thing for Josh in the later seasons,” Sarah pointed out.
“Oh, yeah. Good point. Maybe he’s bi or pan.”
Davey had never thought he’d have a conversation like this, but he had to admit they had a point.
“Maddie and Willow would’ve made a cute couple,” he said, “Maddie can’t drive. That alone is proof she’s not straight. And Liv had chemistry with Holden, but she would’ve been cute with Andie, too.”
“Oh, preach, bro,” Ike agreed, “And I think one of my first crushes when I was in middle school was actually on Parker from Liv and Maddie, so...”
“Parker’s bi and ace,” Mike said immediately, “I’m callin’ it. I don’t even need any evidence; just by vibes. He’s just this bi-ace mad scientist.”
“But seriously,” Sarah insisted, “Joey had a thing for Josh and I think it was requited.”
Davey rolled his eyes, “Duh. Was that ever up for debate after that one episode where the only thing that made Josh feel better about his breakup with Maddie was Joey?”
“So in short, none of the Rooney siblings are straight,” Mike concluded.
“Yup.”
“Uh-huh.”
“Yes.”
Davey smirked, “Kinda like how none of the siblings in this room are straight.”
“Aw,” Mike grinned, “Are you sayin’ you sees Ike and I as siblings?”
“More like we’re all in a cult and we call each other siblings, Brother Mike.”
“Oh yes of course, Brother Davey.”
“You’re both ridiculous.”
“Are you actin’ like you have custody of the brain cell, Sister Sarah?”
“No, of course not, Brother Ike. Brother Davey has it. He just never uses it.”
“I use the brain cell frequently, thank you very much,” Davey said indignantly, “Just not in conversations with people who don’t even have one.”
“Oh, burn!” Ike shouted, and Davey accepted a high five.
It looked like Sarah didn’t have anything to say to that. Probably because she didn’t have the brain cell.
Whatever. If the Rooney siblings could survive with only one brain cell, which the youngest sibling always had, Davey was pretty sure the four of them could, too.
...
This probably makes no sense if you’ve never seen Liv and Maddie. I’m sorry.

Guapo Undercover.
Just a little dribble for my Nick crush and for @beccabarba stuck at work on a weekend. Based on the episode in 14 this gif is from.
Warnings: Flirty and dirty talk
WC: 649
You walked up the stairs to Nick’s place with an iced coffee for you and a short black for him. You were picking him up to go undercover with Fin at a gay bar to try and catch a perp in the act. Nick had messaged to tell you the door was open and to let yourself in when you got there. You walked in sitting Nick’s coffee on the kitchen bench and pulling off your over coat throwing it over the back of the couch and perching yourself on the back of it taking a sip of your iced drink,
“Nick I ‘am here” you yelled through the house.
“Give me 5” you heard back.
Your phone chimed with a message from Liv to make sure you were running on time, having to meet them all in an hour,
“Thanks for the coffee”
Your eyes snapped up to Nick in a nice suit taking a sip of his coffee, the smell of his cologne sending heat straight to your core. You gasped and stood up from the back on the couch,
“Wow Guapo- if you were going undercover anywhere else I might actually be jealous”
Nick chuckled and took a step closer to you with a grin on his face,
“Why’s that?”
You rolled your eyes and laughed,
“Come on Nick, don’t make me spell it out. Your ego is big enough”
“I don’t know what you mean” Nick came up to you putting a hand on your hip “Tell me what you mean Y/N”
“I don’t need to rub your ego Nick”
Nick chuckled and bit his bottom lip, “I know what I would like you to rub- but please tell me what you mean Y/N”
You rolled your eyes and took in a deep breath.
“I wouldn’t be happy if you went home with someone else”
“Why?” Nick’s voice was low taking another step towards you, you both now toe to toe.
“Cause-“ Nick lent forward kissing your neck just above you sweater collar “I want you to come home with me”
“And what would we do when we get home” Nick said into your neck before kissing your neck again making you moan slightly when he wrapped both arms around your waist pulling you into him.
“Nick” you whimpered arching your body into his, grabbing onto his solid arms.
Nick kissed up your neck his lips resting on the shell of your ear, his hot breath making your panties dampen and sending a shiver down your spin,
“I want to feel your hand around my hard cock so you can feel how much you turn me on- then mi Amor, I’ll slide into you so I can feel how wet I make you and fuck you so good you will feel it for a week” Nick’s hands moved down to knead your ass cheek through your jeans “It will be so good you’ll be begging for more”
“Ni-“
You were cut off when Nick’s lips landed on yours, the kiss deep and wild and was all teeth and tongues. You could feel him hardening against you. You were both pulled out of the heat of moment when your phone started to ring pulling it out of your pocket to see Liv’s name. Nick scoffed and peaked your lips pulling away to settle himself down, leaning on his kitchen bench on his balled fists and frowning,
“Hey Liv—yeah we are about to leave—see you soon” you hung up putting your phone back in your pocket.
“You had to hit on me when I’ am about to go undercover?” Nick frowned at you.
“Did I get you hot under the collar Nicolas?”
“You wait carino (sweetheart) till we get back here, a naughty girl like you needs to be punished”
You bit your bottom lip winking at Nick,
“Can’t wait mi Tesoro”

As someone did ask me to answer the Big Hero 6 questions on that Ask post, I will do my best to answer them all. But, in an effort to stagger them out a bit, I’m not going to do all of them at once. I’ll start with the top from each category and go down over the next few days. So let’s start with the ones: A) Series: 1) What is your favorite episode? “Fan Friction”, for obvious reasons. The best thing about it was a filler episode, but not really. Obake was testing Hiro as to what lengths he would go to help the ones that he cares about, even if it was one that he has a hard time understanding. Karmi wants to help them so bad, and we finally see both her and Hiro crack and show a little bit of their true feelings toward each other. It starts the ball on the whole ship, and it does it in both a subtle and loud way that it just works. The commentary from the rest of the team is gold, too. I think it was the first episode that really blended the action, the humor, and the sweetness all together well, and not fragmented like the earlier ones in Season 1. B) Characters: 1) Who is your favorite character that debuted in the series? This is not going to come as a shock to anyone, but I'm going with Karmi. Shipping aside, she is one of the more interesting characters that Hiro comes across. Without going too much into things I've said before, she basically is Hiro without the social stabilization. She's a young, smart, pretty, annoying, know-it-all genius who is not afraid to go up against Hiro and bring him down a peg. And Hiro doesn't initially know how to handle that. But throughout the series, we saw her come out of her shell and be a friend to Hiro. She gets character development, a front-row seat to the action, and ultimately is forced into the limelight when Di transforms her into a monster. Her development from annoying rival to tolerant passerby to friend to crush was something I really enjoyed, and it was a shame that the show ended before it got any further. C) Moments: 1) What is your favorite moment of your favorite character? Probably Karmi and Hiro working on the nanobots for “Liv”'s problem in “City of Monsters, Pt. 1”. The development that I had been waiting for that girl finally showed up, and it all culminated in her letting the mask slip, hugging Hiro in their moment of triumph. Also Hiro banging his head into the wall, and the soft whisper of “Weirdo...” that followed it. I'm a sucker for romance. Can't you tell? D) Opinions and ideas: 1) What would you like to happen if the series was never cancelled? Hoo boy. Given that I've written fanfiction for the series for almost two years, I have a lot of thoughts about this question. To avoid not going on all day, I'll narrow it down to three things: a.) Explore more of the world outside San Fransokyo. New villains, new locals, new problems. All of which may require a Big Hero 6 touch. b.) Get Hiro back to school and at least start of him dealing with not having the entire team around him helping him out. ...Hmm...what is the third? Oh yeah. c.) Bring Karmi back. Let them explore and expand their friendship and relationship. You don't have to say the L-word; you just can have them realize how special they are to each other. There's obviously many more things I would do, but those are my top ones.

May 16, 2011
Olivia folded her arms over her chest as she stood next to Derek, glaring at the old, beaten down and fire-warped house in front of her. Hopefully it would be the last time she would ever have to see it; any day now she and Derek would sign it over to the county so they could start to demolish it and reclaim the land back for the reserve.
However, before then there was some work they had to do.
The symbol painted on the rackety front door was still there, looking the same as when Derek showed her a picture of it the day before. It was some sort of triskele but the arms were straight and angled. Personally, Olivia thought that it was ugly and way too close to a swastika to mean anything good. The fact that Derek called a pack meeting, which included Peter now, didn't bode well either.
"You haven't told them everything yet, have you?" Peter asked Derek from behind her.
Both Olivia and Isaac turned to their alpha expectantly.
"What do you mean?" Isaac was the one to speak.
Peter smirked and leaned against the tree he had stopped next to. "Why do you think Derek was in such a hurry to build his pack? So eager to strengthen his power and his number?" he nodded at the door. "When there's a new alpha people take notice."
"People like who?" Olivia's gaze switched from Derek to the symbol on the door. "That has something to do with this, doesn't it?"
Isaac glanced at the symbol, his eyebrows furrowing. "What does that mean?"
"It's their symbol," Derek told him. "It means that they're coming."
"Who?"
"Alphas."
Olivia reared back, giving her cousin an incredulous look. "More than one?"
Derek inhaled deeply. "A pack of them."
"An alpha pack," Peter said dramatically. "and they're not coming. They're already here."

"I'm telling you, Al, I don't see it," Olivia sighed as she and Allison followed Lydia down the sidewalk to head Heath's house down the street.
She raised her bruised arm and squinted at it in the dark, trying to see the pattern that Allison was talking about. The taller brunette was adamant that the bruises that the random woman gave them were identical and completed some kind of mark when they put their arms together but Olivia thought that she was going crazy. How would anyone be able to control what a bruise looks like?
"It's a pattern," Allison insisted, pulling her phone out of her purse to call Scott yet again. "It means something."
Olivia eyed the phone, watching as it went straight to voicemail. "And you think Scott's gonna know what it is?"
"No but he might know someone who does."
Lydia sighed heavily from in front of them and turned around to face them, walking backward. "How are you so sure this so-called pattern means anything at all?"
Allison's face screwed into a frustrated expression. "Because that girl wasn't just looking for Scott, it was like she needed to find him. And she knew you, too, Liv," she pointed out; Olivia pursed her lips. "That means something."
Olivia wasn't convinced but she wasn't going to disagree with Allison about something so minor. She would rather that Scott answer his phone so that they could go talk to him than continue on to Heath's house so they could celebrate his seventeenth birthday. It wasn't her idea of a fun night, especially when she and Lydia hadn't seen Heath in such a long time.
"Okay, so the bruise means something," Lydia conceded for now. "but can we focus, please? Tonight's supposed to be fun."
Olivia and Allison exchanged frowns; neither of them wanted to be there.
"Ugh," the redhead groaned and pointed at Olivia. "don't give me that look."
"What look?"
"The look you always give me when you don't want to socialize," Lydia stated. Somehow, she was still walking backward in her heels and she hadn't even stumbled. Even though she wasn't clumsy, Olivia really envied her cousin's balance sometimes.
"I don't want to socialize," Olivia shrugged.
"Why are we even going to this party?" Allison spoke up in her defense. "We don't even go to school with these people."
"My dad and Liv's mom were best friends with Heath's parents so we were all passed around for babysitting when we were kids," Lydia informed her.
"We haven't seen him in years," Olivia added with a roll of her eyes.
"So? Heath promised that he'd introduce us to his hot friends," Lydia grinned. "They're on the soccer team."
"I told you—"
"I have a—"
"Yeah, yeah," Lydia cut off Olivia and Allison as they spouted off their excuses. "but I don't have a boyfriend and I'm looking for a distraction, remember?"
Olivia sighed as they came upon Heath's house. It looked the same as it did when she and Lydia were kids except it was a light blue now and there were a bunch of cars parked in the driveway. She could already hear the music blasting from inside and she could tell she wasn't a fan of it.
Now that they were here, they couldn't exactly leave. Well, they could but she doubted that Lydia would let them. She turned to Lydia with a sigh. "One drink?"
Lydia beamed at her. "One drink," she confirmed, grabbing Olivia's hand to drag her up the pathway that led to the front door. Olivia took Allison's hand and took her along too. If she was going down, Allison had to go with her. "Here we go."
They entered the house and surprisingly, there weren't a lot of people hanging around. There were twenty or thirty of Heath's classmates, both boys and girls, but the house wasn't as full as one would expect when you're used to Lydia Martin's parties. There wasn't anything interesting about it, either, except the huge cake that sat on one of the food tables. Now that caught Olivia's eye.
"Lydia, Liv!" Heath, a tall blonde with warm brown eyes, bounded up to them with a happy grin on his face. "You made it."
Lydia excepted the hug that Heath offered. "Thanks for inviting us."
"Happy birth—" Olivia forced herself to say as Heath moved onto her, only to be cut off when he smashed his lips against her. She quickly pushed him off of her, jostling his drink onto her shirt in the process, and glared up at him with shocked and angry eyes. "What the hell?"
"Liv," Allison touched her shoulder to steady her, her own eyes wide. Lydia looked just as shocked with the turn of events. "are you okay?"
"I'm fine," Olivia assured her before turning back to Heath for an explanation.
"Sorry, sorry, I can explain," Heath said hurriedly, awkwardly holding his hands away from her. "Uh, here...let me—let me help you dry off."
Olivia gaped at him and he frantically corrected himself. "No, I meant that there's towels in the kitchen. And you—you can dry yourself off and I'll get y-you a shirt."
The last thing Olivia wanted was to go anywhere with Heath but her blouse was sticking to her torso and it was white, which was not a good combination. Plus, she could smell the alcohol on Heath's breath. It was clear he needed some water and she wasn't a complete monster.
"Fine," she huffed and walked off, already heading to where she remembered the kitchen was located.
Heath ducked into the laundry room to grab a shirt from her and entered the kitchen when he was done. "Here," he handed her a neon pink t-shirt with the name of his school on the front. "It's my mom's."
"Thanks," her voice was the flattest it had ever been. "You should probably drink some water."
"Yeah, I had some beer," Heath went to the fridge and pulled out two water bottles, handing one to her. "Listen, I'm sorry about earlier."
Olivia untwisted the cap from bottle and quirked an eyebrow at him. "You mean when you kissed me?"
"Yeah," Heath blushed in embarrassment. "My friends found out that I used to have a crush on you so they dared me to, you know, kiss you when you got here."
"I have a boyfriend."
Stiles was in the front of her mind and it made her stomach churn with guilt. Yeah, Heath kissed her but she didn't want him to and she certainly didn't kiss him back. She would never in a million years cheat on Stiles and just the thought of her lips pressed against someone else's while she was with Stiles freaked her the fuck out.
"I'm really sorry," Heath looked like he was about to burst into tears, he was so regretful. "They've just been teasing me because I don't have a girlfriend yet and I'm not interested in girls right now so they all think I'm gay—which isn't a bad thing but I have no idea what I may or may not be into! And when Ritchie found out I'm a virgin everything just got so much worse—"
"Heath, it's okay," Olivia felt bad for the guy now. It sounded like he was being bullied because he was still exploring his sexuality. She really wished he wouldn't have kissed her, especially while she was dating Stiles and without her permission, but it wasn't big of a deal. She would explain to Stiles and he would be fine.
Who was she kidding, Stiles would freak. He was jealous of Isaac when he joined Derek's pack just because they were walking and talking together.
"You should really get new friends," she continued, taking a sip of her water.
Heath laughed bitterly. "Yeah, probably. Anyway, I'm really sorry, Liv. I shouldn't have done that."
"No, you shouldn't have," Olivia agreed. "but it's fine. I forgive you, so..."
"Well, thank you."
An awkward silence started up and it made Olivia's twitch, like she wanted to run far, far away. And she did want to, to be fair. She also really needed to change her shirt.
"I'm gonna go change," she held up the t-shirt he had given her.
"Yeah," Heath nodded. "Um, I'm gonna get some more beer from the garage, so...um, have some cake before you leave."
"I will," Olivia said as she left the kitchen and hurried to the downstairs bathroom.
Once her beer-stained blouse was traded out for the t-shirt, she left the house to meet up with Lydia and Allison, who told her that they were out in the front waiting for her. To her surprise, they weren't the only ones; Stiles and Scott were there, too.
"Hey!" Stiles' eyes lit up when he saw her, making her stomach clench guiltily. "Lydia said you had a little accident. Nice shirt."
Olivia smiled weakly. "Thanks," she needed to tell him now before she lost her nerve. "Hey, can I talk to you for a minute?"
"Of course."
Their talk lasted more than a minute. In fact, it lasted the whole ride back to Olivia's house. Just like Olivia predicted, Stiles did freak out about Heath and what had happened. In the four months that they had been a couple, they had two previous fights and neither of them were as bad as the one they were currently in.
It wasn't even that they were mad at each other, really. Stiles was angry and when he was angry, he was a sarcastic little shit and Olivia couldn't hold back her own comments, which set them off in an endless cycle.
"The fact is that you were lying," Stiles told her angrily.
"Lying about what?" Olivia scoffed. "Heath kissed me literally two minutes before you came, Stiles. How the hell was I lying to you?"
"I'm not even talking about that fucker now, God."
"Well, how was I supposed to know? God, you're so infuriating," Olivia gritted her teeth.
"I was talking about the alpha pack," Stiles continued like she hadn't said anything. "You knew about this for what, four months?"
"It's more like three, really..."
"And you didn't even tell me," Stiles waved his hand in frustration, his eyes narrowed as he turned onto her street. "You didn't tell me that some weird pack of alphas—what the fuck is up with that, anyway—is in Beacon Hills and they're doing god-knows-what!"
Okay, he had a point there. Olivia didn't tell him about the alpha pack but she didn't want to bother him with it. He and Scott had made it clear that they weren't part of the Hale pack and she was, so didn't tell him.
"You're not supposed to lie to the people you're in a relationship with!" Stiles exclaimed, slamming his hand against the steering wheel. "I mean, I know you have a heart of stone and everything, but—"
Olivia winced at his words, the corner of her eyes starting to sting. "Wow."
Stiles, out of anyone, knew that she didn't have a heart of stone. She had as much feelings as everyone else. Just because she could hide them well didn't mean anything. He knew that. Hell, he had told her that himself many times before—he always sounded so proud when he talked about the fact that he could read her even though other people couldn't. And he knew how much she loved him. So, the fact that he was throwing that in her face hurt her.
"What?" Stiles looked over at her, like he hadn't realized what he had said. Apparently, he hadn't because he looked like he had slapped himself when he remembered his words. "No, I didn't mean that, Olivia."
Olivia pressed her lips together and looked out her window, grateful that he was pulling up to her house. "Sure Stiles," she quickly unbuckled her seatbelt and opened her door. "Night."
"Wait, no, Livvy," Stiles reached for her hand, grabbing it just before she jumped out of his jeep. "I really didn't mean that. You know that—"
"You wouldn't have said it if you didn't mean it," she snapped at him, ripping her hand away from him.
"Come on," Stiles groaned, growing irritated again; she slid out of the passenger seat and slammed the door behind her. "Olivia!"
Olivia kept walking toward her house, not allowing her tears to fall until Stiles drove off.
-
"You know, I'm starting not to like this idea. It sounds kinda dangerous," Isaac admitted as he paced in front of the huge window in Derek's loft, his hands clenched into fists. "You know what? I definitely don't like this idea and I definitely don't like him."
"You should be fine," Olivia tried to reassure him before pausing, twisting her lips. "Well, I think you will."
"You'll be fine," Derek told Isaac while sending Olivia a shut-up-you're-scaring-him look.
Isaac turned to Derek just as the alpha went back to reading his book. "Does it have to be him?"
"He knows how to do it. I don't," Derek didn't even bother looking up from his reading. "It'd be more dangerous if I tried doing it myself."
Isaac exhaled out of his nose and walked over to the table where Olivia and Derek were sitting. "You know Scott doesn't trust him, right? You know, personally, I...well, I trust Scott."
It was hard not to trust Scott but that didn't mean Isaac couldn't trust Derek, too. Derek was trustworthy, even if Peter wasn't. And Derek—nor Olivia—would let Peter do anything to Isaac.
Derek looked over at him. "Do you trust me?"
It took longer than Olivia expected for Isaac to answer. "Yeah," he confirmed lightly. "I still don't like him."
"Isaac, he's my father and I don't like him," Olivia sighed. "I don't know anybody who does."
The large metal door to Derek's loft slid open, revealing Peter. He looked better now that he had cut his hair into an acceptable length and gained some color after his two-month stint with death. "Boys, cupcake," he greeted Olivia, Isaac, and Derek. "FYI, yes, coming back from the dead has left my abilities somewhat impaired but the hearing still works. So, I hope you're comfortable saying whatever it is that you're feeling straight to my face."
Derek gave him a flat look and slammed his book shut. "We don't like you," he stood from his chair. "Now shut up and help us."
Peter shrugged. "Fair enough," he dramatically finished his statement by growing his claws. "Let's do this."
Soon enough, Isaac was situated in Derek's previous seat, almost curled in on himself from his nerves. Peter had an unimpressed look on his face as he watched the younger beta, slowly walking around him.
"Relax," he advised Isaac. "I'll get more out of you if you're calm."
Isaac glanced back at Peter as he stopped behind him. "How do you know how to do this again?"
It was a good question because Olivia didn't know the answer, either. All she knew was that Peter knew how to do it. He had used this method to give some of his memories of his comatose years to Scott when he was terrorizing Beacon Hills and Olivia had thought it was interesting since.
"It's an ancient ritual used mostly by alphas since it's a skill that requires quite a bit of practice," Peter said as he studied the back of Isaac's neck, lining up his claws at the appropriate spot for penetration. "One slip and you could paralyze someone...or kill them?"
"You've..." Isaac swallowed nervously. "You've had a lot of practice, though, right?"
Peter smiled creepily at him. "Well, I've never paralyzed anyone."
Olivia cocked her head. "Uh..."
"Wait, does that mean that you—"
Isaac wasn't able to finish his question as Peter forced his claws into the back of his neck; he flinched violently and Peter wrapped his arm around his throat to hold him still. Jumping to her feet, Olivia winced at the frantic whispers flying through her head.
Derek stood up in alarm, worried for his beta's safety but it seemed that even Peter was having trouble with the ritual. His eyes glowed an icy-blue as he grunted, his head jerking back from whatever he was seeing in Isaac's memories.
"Derek..." Olivia looked at her cousin nervously, standing from her chair.
Derek went to stop Peter from continuing the ritual but Peter finally spoke up.
"Wait, I see them," he said urgently.
He went silent again, struggling with everything he was seeing. After another moment, Peter ripped his claws from Isaac's neck and threw himself away from him, shoving himself into the table.
Olivia steadied him while Derek asked, "What did you see?"
"Uh, it was confusing," Peter panted, shaking his head. "Um, images...vague shapes."
"So you saw something," Olivia stated, glad that the ritual worked and that he hadn't done it for nothing.
"Isaac found them."
Olivia perked up at Peter's statement; if Isaac found Erica and Boyd that meant that they were one step closer to getting them home safe and sound.
"Erica and Boyd?" Derek checked.
"I-I barely saw them. I mean—g-glimpses."
"But you did see them?" Derek asked firmly.
Peter glanced down at his hands, tightly holding them together. "Worse."
Derek's face fell in realization. "Deucalion."
Olivia's shoulders slumped as she walked toward Isaac, settling her hands on his shoulders to try to give him some calming vibes, though she needed some herself. Deucalion was the leader of the alpha pack and even though he was blind, he was the most vicious out of all of them, according to Derek and Peter. Even thought they already knew that Erica and Boyd were with the alpha pack, it was hard to hear it confirmed.
"He was talking to them," Peter reported. "Something about time running out."
"What does it mean?" Isaac looked to Derek for answers.
Derek sat down on his couch, his face grim. "He's gonna kill them."
"No, no, no, he didn't say that," Peter disagreed. "He did make them a promise that by the full moon that they'd both be dead."
Shit, Olivia thought as she bit the inside of her cheek.
"The next full moon?"
Peter nodded at Derek. "Tomorrow night."

"You guys are late," Stiles' voice was dry and disapproving as Olivia and Derek made their way into the empty classroom that they were supposed to meet Stiles, Scott, Lydia, and Allison in before school started.
Olivia gave him a blank stare; she wasn't mad at him anymore but she was still a little irritated with how they both handled the night before. She also didn't like the way he was speaking to her now, as if it was such a big deal that they were three minutes late. "Do you know how hard it is to sneak a grown man into a school without being suspicious?" she narrowed her eyes at him while making her way to Allison and Lydia. She didn't give him time to answer, "I didn't think so."
Stiles rolled his eyes at her while Scott sighed and addressed Derek, "Yesterday someone was at the school looking for me. She spoke to Allison and Olivia—we think it was the girl who saved Isaac."
"The one he was looking for?"
"I described her to Isaac and he said that the description matched the girl," Olivia told him, crossing her arms over her chest. "Anyway, she bruised me and Allison and now we have matching bruises."
"We think it's a hint to where Erica and Boyd are being kept," Allison's gaze was cool as she spoke to Derek.
It was the first time they were in the same room after everything went down with Jackson and Gerard. The tension was very obvious; they could all feel it in the air.
Allison held out her bruised arm and so did Olivia, placing hers right next to Allison's to complete the pattern. Olivia was still having a hard time seeing it, but she did know it was there after Allison drew out the pattern she saw on a piece of pattern.
Derek studied it for a moment. "I don't see anything."
"Look again," Scott urged.
"How is a bruise gonna tell me where Boyd and Erica are?"
"It's the same on both sides," Scott sighed in exasperation. "Exactly the same."
"It's nothing," Derek glared at Allison; she readily returned the vicious stare.
"Pareidolia," Lydia spoke up from the other side of Allison; Olivia cocked her head in acknowledgement as everyone else looked at her in confusion. "Seeing patterns that aren't there. It's a subset of apophenia."
Derek raised his eyebrows at her and then turned to Olivia expectantly.
Olivia pressed her lips together. "We're trying to help, Derek."
Derek scoffed and nodded his head at Allison. "She wants to help?" he scoffed. "She shot about thirty arrows into our pack, Olivia."
Allison raised an eyebrow but didn't argue with his point; she knew what she did but she wasn't going to apologize for it.
"Okay, all right, now, come on," Stiles tried to mediate. "No one died, all right? Look, there may have been a little maiming, okay, a little mangling but no death. That's what I call an important decision."
Olivia rolled her eyes at him while Allison glared at Derek. "My mother died."
"Your family's little honor code killed your mother, not me," Derek said tensely.
"That girl knew Olivia and was looking for Scott," Allison didn't back down. "I'm here to help them, not you."
"You wanna help? Find something real," Derek turned away from Allison and headed for the door.
Scott quickly stopped him. "Derek, give her a chance," he said quietly. "They're on our side now."
"Well then maybe you should tell her what her mother was actually trying to do that night," Derek retorted.
Olivia glanced at Allison and was relieved that she had turned away to talk to Lydia and wasn't listening to their conversation. She didn't need to learn that her mother was actually trying to kill Scott the night that she was bit in the middle of an argument—or at school, for that matter. Preferably, Scott would tell her in private where she could react however she wanted to.

Olivia only jumped a little bit when Coach slammed his teacher copy of their textbook unto his desk. She turned away from her conversation with Lydia, who was sitting beside her and behind Stiles, to get her notebook ready and pay attention to Coach's lecture. Her need to take precise notes extended even into the easy classes.
"The stock market is based on two principles," Coach spoke as he went to his spot in front of his students' desks. "What are they?"
Olivia knew the answer but she didn't bother to raise her hand to answer him; she was more interested in the fact that Scott had raised his hand in front of her and he was very confident about it.
Does Scott know the answer? Stiles did say that he had buckled down this summer when it came to school.
"Yes, McCall, you can go to the bathroom," Coach said casually as he looked for another hand. "Anybody else?"
Scott lowered his hand. "Uh, no, Coach, I know the answer."
Coach looked at him for only a second before bursting into laughter. When Scott didn't react in anyway, he sobered up. "Oh, you're serious."
"Yeah," Scott confirmed. "It's risk and reward."
Olivia raised her eyebrows and shared an impressed look with Lydia. Scott really was taking his studies seriously now.
"Wow!" Coach was shocked by the correct answer. "Who are you and what have you done to McCall?" he advanced to Scott desk to happily point his finger in his face. "Don't answer that. I like you better, I like you better," he stood straight again and looked around the room. "Does anybody have a quarter?"
"I do," Stiles answer, shoving his hand into his pocket to grab the coin.
In what felt like slow motion, a small foil packet flew out of his jeans and through the air, landing on the floor right in front of Coach's feet. When Olivia saw what the packet actually was, her face grew hot in embarrassment and irritation.
It was a fucking condom. What the hell was Stiles carrying around a condom for? He had made it perfectly clear that he didn't want to have sex with her yet but he was carrying around a condom in his pocket? Was he breaking up with her because of their fight? Was he looking for another girlfriend?
Olivia was fully aware of how pathetic her thoughts had turned and she really didn't like it. She knew that Stiles loved her but the insecure and whiny part of her—a part that she didn't know she had until then—was throwing a fit and silencing her common sense. She couldn't stand how her relationship with Stiles had turned her into such an insecure and jealous little girl.
She loved him and their relationship but she certainly didn't like this part of her. This wasn't the real Olivia Martin.
The whole class went silent as Coach bent down to pick up the condom. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Lydia give her a suggestive look but she was too busy staring at Stiles and the flush of his mole-speckled cheeks. He was frozen as Coach cleared his throat awkwardly.
"Stilinski," Coach coughed weakly. "I think you, uh, I think you dropped this," he handed the condom back to Stiles before he lowered his voice to add, "and congratulations."
It was only then that she saw the condom displayed itself as extra-extra-large. If her cheeks could heat up any further, she was sure a thermometer would show that she had a fever.
And then Stiles looked back at her with mixed emotions on his face. She could see that he was embarrassed and apologetic but there was also something else burning in his gaze that she couldn't decipher. She didn't know how to respond to his gaze; was she supposed to glare at him or smile?
In the end, she turned away as Coach started his lecture again.
"Risk and reward," he declared, turning to walk back to the front of the classroom to pick a mug up from his desk. "Put the quarter in the mug, win the reward. Okay, watch Coach."
He put the mug on the floor in front of his desk and then backed up five feet. Crouching down, he exhaled sharply and focused on the mug. Then, after a few seconds of lead up, he bounced the quarter off the floor and into the mug.
Olivia clapped with the rest of her classmates as Coach celebrated.
"That's how you do it!" Coach cheered before throwing the quarter over to Danny, who was sitting in front of Scott. "Okay, Danny. Risk or reward?"
Danny looked at the quarter in his hands. "What's the reward?"
"You don't have to take the pop quiz tomorrow."
"Coach, it's not a pop quiz if you tell us about it," Danny reminded him.
Coach ripped the quarter from his hands. "Danny, you know, I really expect more from you at this point. Really," he moved onto Scott. "McCall, risk and reward. The risk; if you don't put that quarter in the mug, you have to take the pop—the quiz—and you have to write an essay. Risk, more work. Reward, no work at all...Or choose not to play."
Scott picked up the quarter that Coach put on his desk. "But isn't this just chance?"
"No," Coach disagreed. "You know your abilities, your coordination, your focus, and past experience—all factors affecting the outcome...So, what's it gonna be, McCall? More work, no work, or choose not to play?"
Scott stared at the quarter for a few seconds before firmly setting it down on his desk.
"No play," Coach said aloud for the people who hadn't seen Scott's decision. He took the quarter back and looked around the room. "Okay, who's next? Who wants the quarter?"
Stiles rapidly drummed on his textbook, catching Coach's attention.
"There ya go! There's a gambling man! Come on. Step up, step up!" he handed the quarter to Stiles and allowed him to head to the front of the room. "All right, Stilinski."
Stiles took his position five feet away from the mug and bent his knees to get better aim. He was so focused on getting the quarter in the mug that he didn't even notice that the classroom door opened and his father stepped into the room.
"Olivia."
Olivia was shocked to hear her name come from the sheriff but Stiles had misinterpreted it. He thought that Coach was getting Olivia's attention. "I'm Stiles, actually."
"Stiles, no," Noah shook his head at his son, who finally looked up and saw him standing there. He turned to where Olivia was sitting and nodded solemnly. "I need to speak with you, Olivia."
Olivia bit the inside of her cheek but steeled herself as she got up out of her seat. The few feet between her and the sheriff felt like miles but in reality, it took her less than ten seconds to join him and his deputy in the hallway.
"Sheriff, what's going on?" she asked worriedly. She was pretty sure she hadn't done anything to warrant a visit from the police and if it was about Thomas or Natalie, they would have called Lydia out, too. That meant that something had to have happened to Peter or Derek. That was the scope of her relatives.
"Olivia, I'm sorry to tell you this here but your friend, Heath Sommers, was reported missing," Noah told her; Olivia raised an eyebrow, shocked by what he revealed. "Now, we heard from some of his friends that you interacted with him at his party last night. Do you have any idea if Heath was going to go somewhere and he might not have told someone?"
"N-No, he didn't—he didn't mention anything," Olivia stammered as she tried to wrap her head around the fact that Heath was missing when she just saw him less than twenty-four hours ago. "He spilled a drink on me last night and he gave me one of his mom's shirts. Are you sure he's missing?"
"We're sure," Noah confirmed with a nod. "Did you talk about anything that may have been suspicious?"
Olivia thought back to the conversation she had with Heath. "He told me that he was struggling with his teammates," she recalled. She wasn't sure if she should reveal Heath's struggle with his sexuality or not. She decided not to; that was Heath's business to share. "They were teasing him."
"Do you know what they were teasing him about?"
"No, sir," she shook her head, her mind racing. "Am I in trouble? I told you everything that I know."
It was a lie but they didn't need to know about that particular part of their conversation.
"You're not in trouble," Noah assured her. "We just needed to follow through since his friends said that you were the last person who saw him."
That surprised her. "Really?"
Noah nodded. "We hope that it's just a series of bad decisions based on too much to drink but if you remember anything else, you should call me."
"I will," Olivia promised.
"All right," Noah sighed and shared a nod with his deputy. "Well, I'm sure I'll see you later, Olivia. Have a good rest of the day."
"Thanks, you too."
She stayed in her spot as Noah and the deputy left the hallway to head back to the office. Once she was sure they weren't coming back, she walked over to the wall next to the classroom door and slid down onto the floor. After she pulled her knees up to her chest, she rested her forehead against them.
Not only were Erica and Boyd still missing but now Heath was too. It was odd that three people that she knew were no where to be found...Unless it wasn't odd and it wasn't a coincidence. The alpha pack had taken Erica and Boyd, who's to say they didn't take Heath, too? She didn't know why the alpha pack was targeting people she knew, but she was admittedly the closest person to Derek, so if they were after him, maybe they were after her too.
It made her feel like she was having a heart attack just thinking about it. Because if they were targeting people around her, not only was she responsible for Heath's disappearance but the other people she loved and cared for might be next. She couldn't handle that.
She pressed her hand flat against her heart and inhaled deeply, trying to relax. She wished that she could have a calming effect on herself like she had for werewolves. She really got the raw end of the deal on that.
The door opened beside her and someone walked out of the classroom, coming to stand in front of her. When she removed her head from her knees, she saw that it was Scott kneeling in front of her with worried eyes. He must have heard her freaking out.
"Hey."
"Hi," Scott smiled slightly. "You okay? I heard what the sheriff said."
"Honestly, I don't know," she admitted. "but Scott, I think the alpha pack took Heath."
"You think that they kidnapped Heath?" Scott raised an eyebrow in surprise. "To what, turn him?"
"I don't know," she said honestly; what else would alpha werewolves do with a human? "but Derek said that it's easier to turn teenagers."
"A pack of alphas with a beta?"
"I know it sounds crazy," she acknowledged. "but I've known Heath since I was a baby and I feel like it's my fault that they took him."
"Okay, okay," Scott nodded calmly. "So we need Isaac to remember where he found Boyd and Erica then."
"Peter couldn't even do that and he did that weird mind-meld thing," she sighed, leaning her head against the wall. "Do you know any other werewolves that might know something different? Because I don't."
"I don't either," Scott said. "but maybe we don't need another werewolf. Maybe we need someone who knows a lot about them."

The bag of ice in Stiles' hands was freezing and borderline painful but the more he handled the frozen cubes, the less he noticed. Deaton must have bought thirty of the ten-pound bags of ice in preparation for the little ritual he was going to do to Isaac. He, Scott, and Derek dutifully poured them into the tub of water that was full of some special herbs that Deaton wouldn't really explain.
Yeah, like that wasn't creepy at all.
Meanwhile, Stiles also kept an ear out for Deaton's conversation with Isaac and Olivia. He was giving them a little information about the ritual and for some reason, Olivia had to join the beta. It annoyed the fuck out of Stiles that Olivia had been stuck to Isaac's side since they all arrived at the animal clinic but that the jealous side of him. Logically he knew that she wanted to be there for her friend and pack mate. He just didn't like it—then again, he didn't like Isaac much.
"Obviously, it's not going to be particularly comfortable," Deaton told Isaac. "but if we can slow your heart rate down enough, you'll slip into a trance-like state."
"Like being hypnotized," Olivia offered.
"Exactly," Deaton confirmed before addressing Isaac again while they walked into the exam room where Stiles, Derek, and Scott had finished up, "You'll be half transformed. It'll let us access your subconscious mind."
"How slow does his heart rate need to be?" Scott wondered as Isaac crouched down near the tub of ice water.
"Very slow."
"Okay, well, how slow is very slow?" Derek asked, annoyed with how cryptic the veterinarian was being.
"Nearly dead."
Stiles didn't like how casual Deaton's tone was and by the looks everyone else was giving him, they didn't like it either.
Isaac cautiously put a hand on top of the freezing water and hissed when his skin made contact. "It's safe, though, right?"
Stiles turned away from the conversation, a little bored—it was Isaac, all right? —and wandered over to the counters. They were in the only exam room in the animal clinic which meant that this was the same room he, Olivia, and Derek were in when the werewolf was shot with that wolfsbane bullet. Stiles had seen some pretty interesting stuff when he was cleaning up the counter but he hadn't had time to explore then. Now he had time.
"Do you want me to answer honestly?"
Stiles found the protective gloves first; there were three different boxes on display, each one of them a different size. He was most interested in the long gloves. He had seen Dr. Pol before so he knew that they were the ones that vets wore when sticking their hands up an animal's butt.
He scrambled to put one on.
"No. No, not really," Isaac sighed flatly.
The end of the rubber glove snapped the inside of his elbow painfully but he didn't wince. The sound had gotten the attention of everyone else so he smiled at them, proud of his actions. No one else seemed to be.
"What?"
Olivia and Derek raised their eyebrows in unison—and, of course, the expressions were identical. He rolled his eyes in annoyance and ripped the glove off his arm, throwing it to the side.
"Look," Derek turned to Isaac as the younger werewolf stood to his feet. "if it feels too risky, you don't have to do this."
"If it helps, you won't be doing this alone," Deaton offered to everyone's surprise. "Olivia will be joining you."
"Excuse me, what?" Stiles interrupted, looking at Olivia worriedly. He really hoped that she wasn't getting in that tub with Isaac because he definitely didn't want her in a position where her heart was beating so slow that she was nearly dead.
"You didn't mention anything about that," Derek glared at the vet.
"Relax," Olivia soothed them. "I'll just be guiding him through the process."
Stiles crossed his arms over his chest, uncomfortable. "Why does it have to be you?"
"As an anchor, Olivia has a unique relationship with each member of the pack that not even the alpha has," Deaton informed them. "She's connected to them on a mental level, where most people wouldn't be able to connect. She's the most likely to access Isaac's subconsciousness."
Stiles nodded slowly, coming to an understanding. Olivia wouldn't be in danger, she would just be guiding Isaac through the ritual. He wasn't going to tell her what to do, anyway. She never listened to him so what was the point? She was an independent woman who was free to make her own choices, Stiles understood that.
Olivia glanced between him and Derek. "Are you satisfied with that explanation or do you want to protest more?"
Stiles scowled at her while Derek rolled his eyes. She was so prickly sometimes—it was the Hale in her. He was sure of it.
Ready to start, Olivia took a seat on a roll-y stool at the head of the tub while Isaac removed his shirt. He inhaled deeply before stepping into the tub and sitting down into the water. The icy water must have seized his lungs, as he started panting right away.
Scott and Derek stood on either side of him with their sleeves rolled up, ready to force him into the water. Stiles took his place at the foot of the tub as they shoved him underwater, water and ice splashing everywhere.
With a roar, Isaac came springing from the water, fangs bared and eyes gold. Stiles hurriedly ducked his hand under the water and grabbed onto his legs, ignoring the cold to use all of his strength to keep him still.
"Get him back under," Deaton ordered him, Derek, and Scott.
"Isaac," Olivia's voice was almost like she was singing as she reached for his head to press her fingertips against his temples. He calmed only a little, still thrashing beneath their hands.
He went under the water again but only a second later he popped right back up.
"Hold him!"
"We're trying," Derek hissed at the veterinarian.
"Isaac!" Olivia raised her voice while Derek and Scott ducked him back under. Her eyes were purple now and even though she was staring in Stiles' direction he knew that she wasn't seeing him.
Isaac stilled under the water and when he, Scott, and Derek removed their hands from him, he slowly floated to the top, only his face peeking out.
"Now, remember," Deaton spoke softly as to not disturb Isaac. "only Olivia should talk to him. Too many voices will confuse him and draw him out."
Stiles, Scott, and Derek all nodded in agreement. No talking for them.
"Olivia."
"Isaac," Olivia's voice was calm and soothing while still being clear. "Can you hear me?"
"Yes, I can hear you," Isaac spoke like he wasn't actually awake. Which, Stiles knew, he wasn't. He was hypnotized—at least, that was what Deaton said.
"It's Liv."
Stiles raised an eyebrow at his girlfriend; since when did Isaac call start calling her Liv?
Not really a time to get jealous, Stiles! He reminded himself harshly.
"I need to ask you some questions. Is that all right?"
Isaac's voice trembled; whether it was from the cold water or his nerves, Stiles couldn't say. "Yes."
"I have to ask you about the night you found Erica and Boyd," Olivia stated. "You need to remember it for me as detailed as possible. Like you're actually there again."
"I-I don't—I don't want to do that," the lights started blinking on and off as Isaac started to freak out. "I don't want to do that."
"It's all right, Isaac," Olivia almost cooed. "I'm right here with you. You just need to relax. They're just memories. You can be hurt by memories."
"I don't want to do that."
"It's all right."
"I don't want to do that."
"Relax, Isaac," she shushed him and her purple irises seemed to brighten for a moment; Isaac calmed down, going still again. "Good, good...Okay, let's go back to that night where you found Erica and Boyd. Can you show me what you see? Is there some kind of building or house?"
Olivia's eyes started darting around the room as if she was seeing the same thing that Isaac remembered. Thankfully, Isaac clued the rest of them in on what they were seeing. "It's not...it's not a house. It's stone. I think it's marble."
"Perfect, Isaac. I can see it," Olivia confirmed. "Can you give me anything else?"
She must have been seeing things only as Isaac started to remember them.
"It's dusty, so empty."
"Like an abandoned building," while Olivia spoke, Stiles exchanged looks with Scott and Derek. This was much weirder than any of them thought it would be. "Isaac?"
Isaac started to shift nervously again. "Someone's here," he whispered frantically. "Someone's here."
"Isaac, relax," Olivia ordered.
"No, no, no, they see me, they see me!"
"It's just a memory," she reminded him. "You can't be hurt by it. Just relax."
Isaac whimpered in fear but eventually calmed down again. Stiles actually felt sorry for the guy; even if he didn't like Isaac, he didn't want to see him hurt.
"Good, good...Show me what you see. Show me everything."
"I hear him," Isaac stated. "He's talking about the full moon, about being out of control when the moon rises."
"Is he talking to Erica?"
"I think so. I can't—I can't see her. I can't...I can't...I can't see either of them."
"Can you hear anything else?" Olivia asked patiently.
"They're worried," he murmured. "They're worried what they'll do during the moon. They're worried that they're gonna hurt each other."
Derek looked at Scott worriedly. "If they're locked in together on the full moon, they're gonna tear each other apart."
That was definitely not a good thing.
"Isaac, we have to find them right now," Olivia said urgently. "Can you see them?"
"No."
"Do you know what kind of room it is? Is there any kind of marker, a number on a door, or a sign?"
Isaac gasped deeply and sat up; he almost pulled Olivia into the tub with him if it wasn't for Derek grabbing her in time. "They're here!" he whimpered. "They...they..."
"I know. It's okay..."
"No!"
"Just show me—"
"They see me, they found me," Isaac said breathlessly. "They're here!"
Derek looked at Deaton in disapproval. "This isn't working," he declared before turning back to Isaac. "Isaac, where are you?"
"I can't see them. It's too dark!"
"Just tell me where you are!" Derek ordered.
"You're confusing him," Deaton interjected.
"I can't see!"
"Isaac, where are you? Just tell me where you are!"
"His heart rate! He could go into shock!"
"Derek, let him go," Scott pulled Derek's grip away from Isaac.
"Isaac, where are you?! What did you see?!"
"They got me! It's so dark. I can't see! Oh, my God, there's a dead body! It's Erica!"
Olivia gasped loudly, the purple in her eyes rapidly fading to their normal cobalt-blue state. She fell back from the stool and landed on her back, knocking the wind out of her. Stiles let go of Isaac's legs and rushed over to her, kneeling down next to her to see if she was okay.
To his shock, she was crying.
"Livvy," he gathered her into his arms and crushed her to his chest. "Are you okay? Babe, are you all right?"
"It was Erica," she whimpered shakily, digging her face into his shirt.
Stiles winced and looked up at Derek, seeing that the alpha had gone still in shock. His gaze to Scott, who was staring back at him with a sad look. If what Olivia and Isaac said was true, that meant that Erica was dead.
"It's a bank vault!" Isaac chose that time to startle awake, blinking the water from his eyes. "I saw it! I saw the name," he stood up and Scott immediately handed him the towel they set out for him earlier. "It's, uh...B-Beacon Hills First National Bank. It's, um, it's an abandoned bank and they're keeping them locked inside the vault."
Stiles grimaced and looked back down at Olivia, leaning his chin on her head to provide any comfort that she could take. Isaac noticed how uncomfortable they all looked and almost blanched when he saw the upset state Olivia was in.
"What?"
"You don't remember what you said right before you came out of it, do you?" Stiles asked him.
Isaac shook his head. "No."
"You said when they captured you that they dragged you into a room and that there was a body in it."
"What body?"
"Erica," Stiles sighed sadly. "You said it was Erica."
Isaac was shocked into silence, just like Derek and Olivia, but he had enough in him to sit down first. While Scott and Deaton cleaned up the huge mess of water, Stiles grabbed Olivia her own towel, as she had gotten the most wet while dealing with Isaac. When she was settled on the same table as Isaac, he jumped up to sit next to her and allowed her to nestle her head into his shoulder.
Any anger that he had with her was gone. Yeah, she lied to him about the alpha pack and they needed to work on that but that was old news now. There were more important things to worry about; Erica was dead and Boyd was still with the alpha pack, bound to lose control during the full moon that was coming up in twenty-four hours.
"I don't think you saw Erica's body," Derek finally spoke up; it was clear that he was deep in denial. "It could've been your imagination."
"It was her," Olivia croaked, her bloodshot eyes turning to her cousin. "I saw her, too."
Derek shook his head and raised his voice. "She's not dead!"
"Derek, he said that there was a dead body and that it was Erica," Stiles tried to get through to him. "That doesn't exactly leave us much room for interpretation."
"Then who was in the vault with Boyd?"
"Someone else, obviously."
"Maybe it was the girl on the motorcycle," Scott piggybacked off what Stiles had said. "The one who saved Isaac."
"No, she wasn't like us," Isaac shook his head. "and whoever was in the vault with Boyd was."
Stiles blinked thoughtfully. "What if that's how Erica died?" he mused aloud. "They, like, pit them against each other during the full moons and see which one survives. It's like werewolf Thunderdome."
"Then we get them out tonight," Derek decided.
"Be smart about this, Derek," Deaton interjected. "You can't just go storming in."
Derek stood his ground. "If Isaac got in, then so can we."
"But he didn't get through a vault door, did he?"
Stiles dug his hand into his jeans for his phone; he quickly booted up his internet app and searched for Beacon Hills First National Bank to see exactly why it was abandoned in the first place. Maybe it would be something that would help them get Boyd and the mystery girl out of there.
"We need a plan," Scott sighed.
"How are we gonna come up with a plan to break into a bank vault in less than twenty-four hours?"
Stiles smirked at the information he pulled up on his phone. "Uh, I think someone already did," he answered Derek before reading the article's headline. "Beacon Hills First National closes its doors three months after vault robbery. It doesn't say here how it was robbed but it probably won't take long to find out."
Derek looked at him with a firm gaze. "How long?"
"It's the internet, Derek, okay?" Stiles scoffed and smirked at the alpha werewolf. "Minutes."

"Okay," Stiles whipped open the blueprint plans for Beacon Hills First National Bank and set it on Derek's table, spreading out until it was flat against the surface. He pulled out a red sharpie from his pocket and hovered it over the plans. "See this?" he marked an 'X' on a small box on the paper. "This is how they got in. It's a rooftop air conditioning vent. It leads down inside, into the wall of the vault, which is here," he marked the large square that acted as the bank vault. "Okay?"
Olivia pressed her lips together as she listened carefully, paying strict attention to everything that Stiles said. This was going to one of the most important things she would learn in her life; Boyd's life and the life of the girl that was stuck in the vault with him depended on them and their ability to remember the layout of the building and the plan they were coming up with.
"One of the robbers was lowered into this shaft," Stiles continued, marking a smaller box right off the vault. "Now, that space is so small it took him about twelve hours to drill into that wall—which is stone, by the way. Then, throughout the rest of the night, they siphoned cash up to the guys back on the roof through that one little shaft in the wall," he slapped the blueprint and capped his marker. "Boom."
"Can we fit in there?" Scott asked on Stiles' left, leaning over the blueprints.
"Yes, we can, but barely," Stiles told him. "And they also patched the wall, obviously, so we're gonna need a drill of some kind. I'm thinking maybe a diamond bit..."
Despite the seriousness of the situation, Olivia couldn't help but smile at her boyfriend. She loved how passionate he got about things, especially when it came down to law enforcement or crimes and how they happened.
"Look, forget the drill," Derek sighed, already fed up with Stiles despite the fact that they only started this little meeting ten minutes before.
Stiles looked at him with raised eyebrows. "Sorry?"
"If I go in first, how much space do I have?"
Stiles looked at Olivia to see if Derek was serious; when she nodded, he turned back to Derek. "What do you...what do you think you're gonna do, Derek?" he demanded. "You gonna punch through the wall?"
Derek straightened up and folded his arms over his chest; Stiles stood up to his full height, too, only an inch shorter than Derek, as to not be deterred by him.
"Yes, Stiles, I'm gonna punch through the wall," Derek almost looked amused as he confirmed Stiles' suspicions.
"Okay, big guy, let's see it. Let's see that fist," Stiles dared him. "Big, old fist, make it, come on. Get it out there, don't be scared. Big, bad wolf."
Olivia sighed in exasperation and looked toward the spiral staircase where her father was sitting. It was no secret that Peter disapproved of her relationship with Stiles—even if he didn't mind the kid—so to see him roll his eyes so heavily at Stiles' antics didn't surprise her.
Stiles was hard to get used to, she knew that from experience.
Derek finally held up his right fist. "Yeah, look at that," Stiles smirked and put his hand up, palm splayed open, only three inches away from Derek's hand. "Okay, see this? That's maybe three inches of room to gather enough force to punch through solid con—"
Derek quickly pushed his fist forward, harshly connecting with Stiles' palm. Stiles was forced back where he fell onto the table, groaning in obvious pain. He clutched his injured hand with his other and jumped up to start pacing, as if that would help him overcome it.
"He could do it," he wheezed.
"I'll get through the wall," Derek declared, his gaze flickering over to Peter. "Who's following me down?"
"Don't look at me," Peter said quickly. "I'm not up to fighting speed yet and honestly, with Isaac out of commission, you're not looking at very good odds for yourself."
Olivia wasn't surprised with Peter's little speech. He didn't care about Erica or Boyd so he wouldn't be bothered to do anything to help them. He didn't know what it was like to have a pack—he didn't care about anyone but himself.
"So I'm supposed to just let them die?" Derek demanded.
"One of them is already dead," Peter reminded him.
"We don't know that."
"Do I have to remind you what we're up against here?" Peter shook his head in disbelief. "A pack of alphas, all of them killers. And if that's not enough to scare your testicles back into your stomach, try to remember that two of them combine bodies to form one giant alpha. I'm sure Erica and Boyd were sweet kids, they're gonna be missed."
Stiles scoffed. "Can someone kill him again, please?"
Peter glared at him before looking at his nephew once more. "Derek, seriously? Not worth the risk."
"Okay, look," Olivia spoke up, trying to move on from her selfish father's perspective. "Allison and I will be going around the front so that we can meet you in there. If I can calm Boyd and that girl down, we don't need as much manpower."
"True," Derek nodded and looked over at Scott. "What about you?"
Stiles thought that he was talking to him. "Yeah, if you want me to come—"
"Not you."
Stiles clicked his tongue in realization and pointed to Scott. "Got it."
"I don't know about Erica but if Boyd's still alive, we have to do something," Scott stated. "We have to try..."
"But?" Derek sensed that there was more he wanted to say.
"Who's the other girl? The one locked in there with Boyd?" he wondered.
"Right now, I don't think it matters," Olivia said bluntly. "The moon is gonna rise soon, so we need to get going. Once this is all over, then we can focus on this mystery girl."
Derek nodded at her in approval. "Ollie's right. Let's get ready."
There wasn't much in the way of getting ready but Stiles did come over to Olivia while Scott and Derek spoke a little more about their part of the plan.
"Are you sure you want to do this?" he whispered to her; she could hear the worry in his voice and it made her stomach fill with butterflies. "You could get hurt."
"Allison's gonna be with me," she reminded him. "and it's not like we're gonna go storming in. This is a covert mission, Stilinski."
A smile made its way to Stiles' mouth. "Fine, fine," he conceded. "but be careful, all right? If you get hurt, I'll lose my fucking mind."
Olivia laughed lightly and pulled him into a tight hug, using her tiptoes to lay her chin on his shoulder. "I'll be careful," she promised; she knew he was serious about losing his mind if anything happened to her. "I love you."
"I love you, too, Livvy." Olivia hid her smile in his shoulder; she couldn't let him know that she actually looked forward to hearing him call her by that name.
