On that virgin MC talk. Honestly? An MC who is curious and exploring all of these kinks would be a much better approach. If it was written well, but excluding PB's bad writing it sounds more believable for an MC experiencing culture shock in Hell, but then giving the opportunity to explore everything themselves seems more interesting. We know Solomon was into every phillia but it doesn't mean MC has to be the same. I think it will help things out for MC to have a more neutral stance and we can choose if we're into it or not, rather than MC flip flopping between being an absolute disgusting freak to a quivering confused wet blanket. Maybe I should start ignoring MC because honestly I still don't get why the MC is adored this much by all the devils.

The Kings carry the spotlight, so for sure they should have banners for solomon seals/lesser keys. The nobles are just as important, but main focus are the kings the way I see it.

It SHOULD be every 3 months bc not everyone can afford to buy the nightmare passes even if majority of players are working adults, they’ve got bills to pay! Having to pay 90 per month can break a budget in some way.

I AGREE like Leviathan is popular which is understandable as why he would be behind a nightmare pass, let alone him being first before Satan and Mammon, but we’ve ready got cards for him from past events, it feels like the same thing over and over again, it’s tiresome

However, you have a point. I will sound a but harsh, but Leviathan SELLS and it’s clear as day that he’s the devs fave, and even the fans. So if Prettybusy is lacking somewhere, Leviathan for sure will bring in profit. I do hope that Satan or mammon come after, god forbid it’s Beelzebub AGAIN.

Note: this isn't about anyone in particular, just a (big) thought that I've been having about the whb fandom for a while (and its just been relighted again bcs of this recent shitstorm). I'm not looking for discussions with other people about this, so please don't start any with me.

If a game having paywalled content (even in the quantities that whb has) makes you so extremely upset, maybe uninstalling the game is the right choice for you

Not just to show that you don't agree with it, but also for your own wellbeing, especially for your own wellbeing

Wanting to be able to have every single part of a game and freaking out when you can't, does not seem healthy to me. Trust me, I've been there, done that (it was not a great time)

But at some point you need to accept that you can't have every single thing, and that's fine, you don't need to have everything

Something that I've noticed a lot in this fandom is that people kinda seem to be riling eachother up, telling others to do this and don't do that, simply because they cannot have every single piece of the game

And its okay to show your concerns, some things truly don't make sense and you should let PB know that, but Jesus it sometimes feels like its some sort of echo chamber in here

There's still content that you can get for free, and (in my opinion) fandom is also a very important part of enjoying the media that you're a fan of

Sometimes its important to take a step back and think to yourself: should I really be this worked up about a game?

I've had moments where I've been so stressed about getting everything in a game, to the point of spending hundreds of euros just so I wouldn't feel left out (looking at you Love Nikki), but once I realized that I can also enjoy stuff without having everything, and by engaging in a nice fandom, it gave me so much peace of mind

So please for the love of god: show PB your complaints, but once you realize that you're getting extremely worked up about a game, maybe take a step back, uninstall, maybe take a walk or something because shit like that isn't healthy

I probably would enjoy WHB more if we weren't just a sub. I know that's probably a terrible take but it's really clear that this game is only having us being dommed by everyone and it's boring af because the mc is already terrible and spineless to begin with. I know it's a nsfw game so shouldn't bother taking it seriously but they're bothering with a story and plot which just doesn't flow well at all with the bad writing and characters. I agree with everyone else, the art and the event stories are the only good things of this game. Especially with the sorry state of the anniversary gifts. The Asmo card is cool but I know it'l be a paywalled card that we won't see in the normal gacha for over half a year and the story will be MC going dumb and jumping on that gun like all the other king cards.

I'm going to real, the anniversary looked good on paper but once it actually showed up I was underwhelmed. That's just ME personally. I'm happy about human Jjok, them putting cards I didn't think we'd get ever into the anniversary banner (Comiket Belphie, Beach Raphael, Halloween Minhyeok) also for the reveal of Asmo? I was down.

Satan's backstory was cute, but again I felt it was mostly Sitri focused just like the Sitri and Amy event.

Also with the whole MC being a sub the entire time, I've started ignoring MC so much I pretty much expect them to say something I don't like lol and putting my OC's name in the game is messing with me because I'm like "no she would not say that shit"

Asmo's card is normal solomon seal then get him later kinda deal so I'm not too bleh about it. The amount of time he will appear? Hopefully the three months they said...

And to add spoilers below the cut if you feel like-

I just wanted to take MC's hand in Asmo's card and escort them out of the game. Because please. As much porn as you watch on your childhood friend's computer...and Asmo was the one basically doing everything. Not that he minds but what?

From what I've been seeing it feels like PB is focusing on quantity over quality. Things like Obey Me, TWST, and Nu-Carnival has a sizeable group of characters, but they're not too huge so it allows them to flesh each one out to a certain extent, but then they can introduce a diverse set of cards on each of them so you're not starving too much.

WHB has not only has 6 Kings and one more on the way, but they also keep introducing more nobles and angels. In a way it's not bad, but this is why I seriously feel it is a case of quantity and not enough quality. From what I've seen in this community, characters that have been in the game since Day 1 are being super neglected. Then we a have every new L card released being paywalled, nightmare passes that also have the top rewards paywalled, are more frequent, even this time around the S+ card requires more gold keys and it doesn't have anything remotely special about it whereas the last S+ did which was extremely exclusive only. Honestly it's...really sad. Now you don't NEED these cards and I'm not asking for freebies, but in the end they are asking for your life savings for even just the decent stuff, and then you still have to deal with the gacha to do that.

I personally need a decent amount of characterization to really appreciate a character so I do appreciate the world building but no character has stuck with me yet. So everytime a new one is released I go: "Okay but what about like...the existing ones?" Our last one was Leraye, which I'm sorry, it's just a reskinned of his OG card and I found that really scummy which was probably why he was locked through achievements which...was the saving grace still it was the only time it happened. The story was nice though.

I don't want to come off as ungrateful and I probably am, but I just don't understand PB's decisions on what they're doing anymore. We can't use the "they're a small company" card, I'm sure they're not the only small company, but I don't have any sources, but so far this is the first time I seen company really just throw their community into a blender like this...then again I only played like 3 other gachas which isn't a lot.

This observation came right in time with how I'd like to pretty much introduce the game to new players that are flocking in.

PB's decisions as of late to change how we get currencies, paid banners, and the progression of the main story and character building has been a damn journey.

I don't think you're ungrateful, I wouldn't call anyone that honestly because as the consumer YOU are the the one, p2p or f2p, in the end that has be entertained by this nsfw game. The only one in existence that is catered to both women and men audiences. With that in mind, you'd expect to see something worth buying/taking up nearly 8gb of space on your phone for.

When the game was first teased, me and my friend were talking about it and she was overwhelmed by the amount of characters they kept showing, I met her through the Obey Me fandom, so that was our bread and butter for the majority of conversations. When I moved on to WHB, she didn't come with, she stayed for like maybe a week or two and dropped it. I forget mostly why which I could ask her again on her opinion.

But I'll let you in on something I saw the other day, the community over in LaDS has been having some issues with their banners/other gacha related things as well stating that this recent banner is driving players away. I don't play LaDS but PB isn't the only company it seems starting to switch things up when it comes to decisions.

The S+ cards confuse me because what they introduced was hey here's beach Rara (Raphael) and he has an adore mode, a story with mild spice, and you chats/more lore about this bitey boi. I had so much fun reading through that. Amy and Sitri's all we get are the likability things and well from the previous expectation? That made me shake my head. (also for the extra gold keys thing, apparently it's only that high if you want to get it early, the card is going into the banner immediately after the event so in theory we all literally could have waited to pull them so we wouldn't have to spend that amount of gold keys)

As far as content goes, I think ultimately there's too many characters to work with. If anyone on the staff has a brain like me, it would be very easy to neglect characters here and there. I also do not like that Gehenna has yet ANOTHER noble (sorry Amy) but other countries are lackin'.

All in all I hear you. Chapter 6 and Mammons/Amy's events though have me believing that the best has yet to come, these banners though....we will see... Maybe things will pop off when Asmodeus debuts..

I suspect that there are some players that are hiding behind either aviless/blank accounts, are lurking without interacting directly to avoid getting caught, or straight up lying about their age... I only have the one on the app store (the more sfw one?) and not ero labs because I didn't know when it frost came out that they would have the app store one censored. I feel that you and many other players new and old feel the same about this company turning around to make something 12+ when it started off as a porn centered/adult only game.

They aren't the first ones to do this, and the other fandoms too had their issues about companies making a decision to turn a NSFW game into SFW even if they scrubbed it clean enough for a younger audience to play. This game and those games were never for minors and don't need to be. This space ain't for them especially given the themes and content that's in WHB just from the main story alone.

At the same time, my overall gripe about this game, is that what the transparency and expectations given to me from the company has been a huge let down. I don't think I'd mind the monthly NP's if we consistently had chapters out for the main story within the timeframe given and a good balance of cards available for the kings instead of the barely any for Satan but damn near double the amount of cards for Beel and Levi. If I were to compare this game to ObM which I don't like doing because they aren't remotely the same...is that I prefer WHB's story (collectively not just the main) whereas I only liked ObM's story up until a certain point. I only really stayed for the fandom and then I was like "yeah no" and left that fandom. Not that it matters that I left anyway because all of my progress on the OG ObM game was lost cause my old phone got damaged in the laundry machine 💀 Which brings me to the reason I don't like spending money on virtual things nor gacha. If the server shuts down, the app doesn't update with the new tech, or if an unfortunate thing happens like it did to me all of that money and time is gone. I could have invested that in something tangible/physical or just anything else.

With that being said, I've been slowly working on writing the H-scenes in my own way with my MC so there's that. It's been something on my mind for a minute now on doing...

Besides if people hate Levi because he has a stick up his ass...then they're valid because the people who do love him are aware that he has a stick up his ass, but like the other kings he's complex too. Got some more thoughts on the matter! I feel the dislike with Satan's card isn't really just the blatant SA that everyone is saying. To dig deeper it seems like it's because it's all entirely OOC. Satan got tricked into getting captured because he saw an angel that looked like MC? MC being Gabriel and all but not really telling Satan that its them and instead just goes straight for it. Feel free to correct me if I said anything wrong.

Like if anything Satan was MC's first devil who saved their friend and brought them to Hell. Was there any level of sentimentality? I don't have the card so I can't say but I'm basing this on the posts I've been reading. Like if I was in MC's shoes I would be worried and wanting to save Satan, the devil who saved my friend and MY life. but to do that I'd have to be a convincing Gabriel first but let him in on that plan before we break him out and whatnot.

It just feels like Satan was written dumb, and MC was written like a psycho for no reason than to be "lololol horny horny porn insert yay!!"

The entire story felt like it written terribly. It's a porn game yes, but it could have still be porn that's written well. But once again we can't really rely on PB to write anything good or translate.

In my react post it may have came off to some that the SA is what bothered me, when in fact it was exactly what you said here. I consume dubious content, I won't pretend I don't. However, this story for Satan was ooc and didn't feel like it was doing his character justice as his other cards. I also just didn't care for MC's lack of committing to Gabriel's personality nor telling him that it was them at any point of the story.

While I'm all for porn being there for the sake of it, this just wasn't written good enough for me to give it that pass. At least not for me it wasn't. With Zagan's new L-card coming up soon I really do hope they wow us and make it to where the card is worth the money spent for the NP Also this statement is more so for anyone reading my reply to you: I don't have a problem with folks liking the card or any other story just as much as I wouldn't mind if someone disliked something I liked. This is a fandom with a good variety of players, we all don't have to agree.

Two Gabriel's. Who's the real one? It should be hard to tell, Ronove's spell should fool just about anyone and then Raphael and Michael come in and are like....."that one is Gabriel because my blood is boiling rn." and it's the real Gabriel 💀

The majority already disliked MC but PB managed to make them worse based on these snippets. I’m so impressed they managed to outdo themselves to make a horrible story. And to the beloved “First Devil” of all is just salt on the wounds

We need to revoke their writing privileges because I’m afraid for the next ones. But also I’m more surprised that so many people hated this card. Which makes me curious and not criticizing but I wonder how this one got more flack than the Angels. I don’t have any of those cards but I remembered some people didn’t like those either for the SA.

So I can't really speak for everyone in the fandom and wish not to. However, based on my observations, I believe that it's the way the non-con was written and that fact that it was MC doing this to the devil who saved them and loves them. If I had to guess the feeling, it would be that of betrayal.

Now this is me reaching, but it read almost as if the writer didn't feel like writing it in the first place and just gave us something. It felt similar to Michael's Christmas card to me in the way it was presented. Raphael's had more thought, Gabriel's card had a twist in there that made it more personable.

There's a lot I have to ramble about this topic and this card but if I feel like blabbing about it I shall in another post later. For now it's like??? and that's where I'm at.
