alright i been meaning to do this so:

what is and is not allowed to be done with any of my characters! this includes art, fics, edits, headcanons, whathaveyou

[general content/trigger warning for uncomfortable, possibly-triggering topics because this is mainly the gist of what i dont want to see]

x = never ? = ask for permission

do nots: x - no noncon (if you engage to work through your feelings, never make my characters the perpetrators, it skeeves me out) ? - no genderbends/sexswaps/whatever they're called anymore? idk just don't mess with their gender, pronouns*, or assigned-sex-at-birth as a general thing unless i already have or okayed you directly. triple-especially if they're not cis x - respect their romantic orientations/sexualities! if you don't know a character's then you can ask me, but yeah. ie: don't ship andrew with women, he's homosexual x - [NSFW] absolutely no ageplay kinks or anything like that with my characters. no raceplay. just..nothing like that. x - no pregnancy. no mpreg. no omegaverse. none of it. (i've come a long way from it being straight-up a trigger but still, yea,) i have had some of my characters naturally be pregnant/have babies but i'd rather handle it myself, if you know what i mean x - this is a duh, but nothing hateful/bigoted using my characters. like, for instance, i do joke abt shit and say mainverse!entre is a conservative but don't unironically use him for anything awful like that. joking/memeing around about his terrible political stances is fine though x - i would never write or have my characters telling anyone to "kill yourself" so please don't have them say stuff like that. even if it's a joke. it makes me uncomfortable. (there may be a few exceptions in my giant roster of ocs but as a general rule just avoid it) x - never use my ocs likenesses or art of them as art for your own ocs. that's never okay. my ocs designs are for my own characters only.

okay! generally anything i havent said isn't okay IS okay, but just so anyone reading this has a clearer idea

it's okay to use my characters for expressing yourself, venting, or just personal stuff like that. if my characters help you through something, go ahead and express it. i'm happy they help :)

playing around with gender presentation (not gender) is perfectly okay with any of my characters

shipping in general is fine as long as it doesnt go against the don'ts list. i dont care who you ship them with

[NSFW] i'm okay with pretty much any other kinks other than anything that goes into noncon, bigotry, or underage so go wild even if it's not my thing personally i don't care. (ie: the swagtre piss fic? lol im not a watersports guy but chase your bliss)

my characters are all free game for anything horror themed as well. horror as a genre, body horror, psychological horror, whatever. go for it. i have a personal major squick for eye gore but i can handle (and enjoy) pretty much anything else in this realm. go as gorey or not as you like (just tag appropriately for other ppls sakes)

handling self-harm/suicide idealization themes is technically? okay? for my characters? just uh...be respectful i guess. and definitely tag appropriately. this theme is canon for a few of them so i am okay with it just handle it with care is what i'm saying

go ham-buck-wild with mental illness headcanons or projections or anything like that. i dont think i have an oc that doesn't have at least something, so if you see yourself in their symptoms, go for it. only some of them i have personal labels for some of their stuff but otherwise it's whatever. just be respectful, again.

kinning is also okay! kin, synpath anything like that. go ahead! go wild with it. i think it's neat. just be respectful.

and an important note to all of this, other than being respectful to others and the characters themselves, is to respect me. just because it's okay that you do it with my character, doesn't mean i have to agree with it or make it canon or anything like that. it just means i gave you permission to engage like that. so please don't come to me trying to ask or force me to change something about my own characters or get so lost in your headcanons you start to disrespect what i've established myself

Can I be honest for a second?

I never understood neopronouns.

I never understood why someone would use neopronouns.

I never understood how a simple "he", "she", or even "they" couldn't appeal to a person.

I didn't get why someone would use "ze" or "xe" or even "fae".

I couldn't understand.

But a while ago, I thought to myself.

When I started trying out a different name, I asked my mom what she would say if I wanted to go by a different name.

She told me that she would still love me.

She told me that she was happy with whatever made me happy, on one condition:

"If you're not harming yourself or others, then be who you want to be and live how you want to live."

I thought about that moment.

And I thought back to this one.

I realized that, despite society shunning people for this new type of self identification, it wasn't harming anyone.

People who were using neopronouns weren't harming themselves by using neopronouns, and they weren't harming anyone else by using neopronouns.

Society often uses the argument of "It's too hard to remember all of these new pronouns."

I understand where they're coming from, seeing as I once saw it that way too.

But in that argument, they make a statement, whether they realize it or not.

They tell us that they aren't willing to stop and learn.

They aren't willing to change.

And by not being willing to change, they are harming people.

So the next time you think to yourself, "This is so confusing" or "This is stupid, why would someone use this as a pronoun," think:

"Is it harming someone?"

Often times, the answer is no.

So why fight it when it doesn't harm you?

Oh, hi! Don't worry, anon, you're not bothering me at all and people are welcome to ramble about gender and personal experiences in my inbox, granted that if anything should be trigger tagged, it is.

I'm not that good at giving advice and I'm certainly not perfect and not a pillar of knowledge, but here's my opinion;

Gender is hard to figure out. The reason for this is because everyone has their own perception of gender and what feels good. Thats why I'm so glad that there are so many pronouns floating about the internet - you can take what feels good to you. Pronouns are like names: you choose the ones that fit you. And nobody else should have a say in it, because it's yours.

If you want to figure your gender out, give it a name and discover what group/subgroup of gender you belong in, that's great! And I encourage you to research and ask other nonbinary folk! But if you're doing this to prove to someone that your experience and your gender is real and not weird, I'm afraid there's not much to do. Because people will always think that the things they do not understand are strange.

There are plenty of people, plenty of transmasculine people and trans men, who use it/its pronouns. And agendrr people who do lean into masculinity as well. The people who matter, who respect you and love you, will use your pronouns and refer to you as you want. That's called respect and basic decency.

If you like short hair and feel bottom dysphoria and want a beard, then I suggest you look up the effects of HRT! Testosterone could be a great balm for that pain, and there are so many posts about it!

Being a man is nothing bad. Being nonbinary, leaning into transmasculinity, is nothing bad. It's wonderful. My advice is that you try to look at yourself through the lens of transmasculinity and, if it makes you feel better, well, there is it!

But also, if it doesn't fit, it's also quite alright :) experimenting and learning as you go, growing and changing your perspective? That's just life. I used to think I was nonbinary and then realized I was a binary trans man. And there's nothing wrong with being nonbinary, I just realized it wasn't for me.

And it took me a while to realize. Give yourself time and have patience. Sometimes the answers come to you quick, others slow. Don't be afraid to experiment and don't be afraid of neopronouns or it/its; they're wonderful.

i remember, when i was like “oh they’re a better person now, i’ll give them one more chance” they ltrly made a video of somesort abt how ppl were trying to remutual them n stuff n yadda yadda ya. like, some people were being forgiving of them, but okay? and they literally tagged me in it but the moment i saw that vid i unfollowed. and i told them that when they tagged me then they blocked me but i didn’t rlly care.

couple days later they ig unblocked me, and had? tagged me in a vid saying “ik u dont follow but do u still see my vids?” like. you blocked me first of all so, no. second of all i just found it kinda funny that after that they replied to my comment with a vid of “what they’ve been doing” like. okay?? why do you want me to see this? you have tons of other followers, and clearly you don’t want anything to do with me since you blocked me. i also find it funny they’ve made multiple accounts, and i mean MULTIPLE. they’ve used them to ltrly like. attack someone over the drama.

i made a post abt them before but i had deleted it bc i thought they had become a better person.

they’ve also made a roleplay acc for silver spoon from ii, and were literally gatekeeping the character. they apparently sent death threats to another silver spoon acc and also had kam in their bio (kill all men) 😐. luckily this acc was deleted wahoo!!!

i won’t say who this is just bc i don’t want people attacking them, but if you wanna dm me and ask for their acc, or other accs so you can block them bc they still do stuff like this then feel free to ask but yea lol. they’re genuinely an asshole.

Most of that stuff u wouldn’t necessarily know upon first meeting someone anyway?? Like how could u look at someone & be like “yes u are this exact gender, race, age, and sexuality.” Furthermore if they don’t wanna disclose that info irl or online they shouldn’t have to! Also like ppl’s names they use online are sometimes different than the ones they use irl?? And that’s not inherently lying. oof I've been browsing the butch tag for a bit now and lowkey feel a little isolated

like it's all "her" "girlfriend" "lesbian" which you know I get that that's the majority of the (modern) butch community but I don't relate to that at all, I don't relate to how people treat butches and how people see us and what they expect from a butch person

I just wish people would like acknowledge that there are a lot of butches out there who don't use she/her pronouns, who don't like being called girlfriend, who don't call themselves a lesbian for one reason or another

there are he/him, they/them, neopronouns using butches, there are nonbinary/genderqueer/genderfluid butches, there are bi/pan/omni/ply and/or aspec butches, there are very gnc and/or masculine butches

seeing "If you're attracted to man-aligned ppl dni" "if you're man-aligned dni" on blogs meant for butches kinda hurts because you're excluding albeit a small minority but still a very important part of the butch community

I just figured out I'm butch and I don't even feel welcome in this community because what I relate to has become such a big discourse-y thing or something people just seem to forget or not want to deal with

I just kinda want like more recognition for antique/old school butches and all around "uncommon" butches ya know?
