And just like that, it's spring. I took this pic last weekend. It is actually supposed to be a bit colder and rainy this weekend. Today is lovely - calm, bright, warmish. I need to go to the Barn, but staying home to help trim / prune trees is also a thing I should do. And l might get a Mule for my efforts. . Just to be clear, we have been dry all year, this was just a little celebration of one year WFH, and a little reward for getting a lot of pruning done. Still a lot more trimming to do... It is happening again. In late October of 2020 we had an early heavy snow that broke some trees - woke up to this yesterday morning. Posting this just because. All of these little chillies came from 2 little plants. They weren't all fully red when I picked them, but temps were going to be freezing, so I picked them and let them sit for a couple weeks. They turned red a dried nicely. And they are pretty. Sometimes you just need to see something pretty. . Hope everyone is taking a nice deep breath and getting outside for a walk. Do what you can to take care of yourself and relax a bit. . . There are times when I have so many creative ideas, I can't move quickly enough to make them all happen. And there are times when that river runs a bit dry. We are rolling into the first long weekend of the summer. . Got my 2nd jab earlier this week. 2 more weeks and I hope I can go without a mask, and I hope I will be less creeped out by other people who aren't wearing masks. .
