In your Spitfire AU, since Zuko is looking after Lu Ten II, what happened to Ursa?

Zuko is slightly older in the Spitfire AU. He was banished at fifteen, his head a little clearer and denial a little weaker than in canon. After his first look through the Air Temples, Zuko decides that if he can't find a myth, he might as well search for the next best thing.

Finding Ursa isn't easy, but in time he makes it to a secluded house in a near-forgotten part of the world. His mom is there, older and stronger and alive.

But she isn't alone.

And Zuko, as it turns out, didn't keep the best company during his search.

When Ursa is discovered and her secrets are laid bare for assassins (for Ozai) to find, she begs Zuko to take his little brother and run. She'll do anything it takes to protect her children, even if that means leaving them behind to keep a target off their back. Ursa diverts attention from them and allows Lu Ten's ancestry to be kept a secret. She orders Zuko not to follow her again, and disappears.

Zuko is left with a little three-year-old brother to raise and a mother he cannot hold onto.

Yk what I want? I want a very early stages post canon labrumisu, but from Chilchuck's POV.

Imagine mister 'interparty romance is the devil' visiting court just to see these three circling each other like a pack of uniquely unhinged cats. And of course he sees it immediately, he's nothing if not perceptive and he's seen this happen so, so many times before. Kabru is hardly subtle in his fascination with Laios, who trusts him in turn more than nearly anybody else. He can see how close Mithrun and Kabru still are, even when there's little reason for the former captain to even stay in Melini. He can see where this is going. And he can see the disaster it's gonna end up in.

So he's just staring at them in horror, trying to figure out what in the world the dynamic here even is and glaring daggers at Kabru all the while for seemingly being the linchpin of this entire bullshit situation. King, his adviser and a fucking foreign noble?? Who thought THAT was a good idea! Is nobody else seeing this?? (no lol) Why is nobody objecting to this politically unsound love triangle that could literally ruin the kingdom they've only just established??

The anger! The distress! The despair when he first sees Laios getting all giddy when Mithrun so much as talks to him. Because hell, now he can't even blame the entire situation on one pretty boy insisting on having fingers in every possible pie, on political and personal level both!

And then they just. Quietly get together. All three of them. And Chil's just watching from the sidelines in complete bafflement because he's invented infinite worst case scenarios for how this will implode in all of their faces and destroy their friend group and topple the entire country and--

Instead they do. This. He'd be relieved if he wasn't so goddamn mad that he's spent months worrying about this shit just for them to resolve it in the least dramatic way possible.

Fuck this, he's taking a holiday.

Thinking about the original plot of Fire on the Moutain again, and how Thundercracker doesn't really like anything that flies.

I don't know if this ment that Thundercracker permanently defects from the Decepticons, but this is the last time he and skyfire are mentioned in the production bible. (Edit: A permanent defection would fit on how they wanted characters to have character development too)

It could be cute if he defected originally for Skyfire and in the beginning thinks everything else is beneath him if they don't fly, but then slowly starts to begin to appreciate the lives of all creatures because he would only hang around Skyfire and he can't escape Skyfires infodumping about his studies. He starts to associate Skyfires excited rants with the excitement of a dog wagging their tail so hard their whole body wiggles. They would both be dog people lol

But if Thundercracker didn't permanently defect would Skyfire still reach out to try? Would he notice how Thundercracker would spare humans when the others don't? Would they have secret meetings that at first, is just trying to convince Thundercracker to join the Autobots, but eventually Thundercracker also starts to be the one sneaking off to meet with Skyfire and it turns into them just enjoying each other's company? Skyfire likes having another jet to talk too that aren't the arialbots, and Thundercracker likes talking to someone who isn't rude (all of the decepticons except for Soundwave) and doesn't ignore him (Soundwave)

Thundercracker still isn't sure if he would be welcomed to the Autobots. Skyfire just wants him to defect because he fears that he won't be killed from fighting Autobots, but from his own faction. He doesn't need to join he could just be a neutral and they can still see each other.

One day, after years of secretly meeting up, Skyfire brings a puppy, now there are 2 pairs of deadly puppy eyes, Thundercracker finally breaks, confessing that he has been planning to defect for a couple of years now, but hes been testing the waters to see if Skywarp would join him. It doesnt look like he would but he wants to try one final time. But no matter what he will finally leave.

Thundercracker thinks about what's happening back on earth as he lays injured in astrotrain. Starscream initiates a vote to kick them off, Thundercracker could only plead and curse at all of them especially Starscream, as he and Skywarp are too weak to fight back from being grabbed and thrown out of the ship, an execution. In his final moments floating in the emptiness of space, he thinks of Skywarp... And of Skyfire, who he wished he could have said something to him one last time.

Skyfire waits on earth, but Thundercracker never returns.

there is not enough femslash in batcest circles. the girls deserve to be just as weird about each other as the boys are. if BruDick gets to be weird father/son/brothers/lovers/friends/rivals/soulmates then it is only fair that Babs/Cass get to be mother/daughter/sisters/lovers too. Something about that deep intrinsic but undefinable love that is born out of trauma, especially if you consider Cass not knowing what healthy love looks like in the first place. i think it's fun and deserves just as much fandom content.

besides that, you can get even more niche with rarepairs like Helena/Steph. Huntress/Spoiler: Blunt Trauma is already a fantastic comic and even though it's their only real canon interaction it has so much potential. very comparable to TimJay in how Helena tries to get Steph to understand her morals and the corruption you could play with it.

that comic also highlights on how both Steph and Helena are outcasts of the Batfamily and don't have the approval of Bruce to be doing what they do in "his city". I think there's so much Potential in Helena taking Steph under her wing because Bruce won't let her in and it becomes a weird codependent toxic sapphic mess. I think the protectiveness Helena feels over Steph from the get-go is so clear and the way she wants to look out for Steph, wants to make sure Steph understands the real world? I love them. Helena should be allowed to steal Steph, actually. I think it'd be fun.

there are a lot of other possibilities too like Babs/Steph or even getting weird with Helena Bertinelli/Helena Wayne and the existential question of "is it selfcest or not." But these two specifically live in my head rent-free, especially Helena/Steph and one day I'll convince everyone else to ship it too.
