ok bear with me for a sec trying to think how to phrase this

in order to destroy all three glamrocks and get all the upgrades, youre required to stay past 6am for freddy to give you the extra pass. before ruin came out we all assumed this was the canon ending where you would go down to see burntrap. you’re required to have all three upgrades to get down there so it made sense

BUT. we now know princess quest is the actual ending. in princess quest route, you’re only required to destroy two animatronics. roxy (always required) and chica (her route starts in fazerblast -> find vanny hideout -> pq3). you can get the three star ending without ever doing the monty boss fight.

(and even if the player DOES choose monty first, you can still go back to fazerblast post-6am and go straight to vannys hideout ending instead of doing the trash compactor)

anyway anyway. the point is that it is entirely possible in the 3 star ending for one of the glams to have survived. we didnt need all the parts. but we see them in ruin, and ALL of their special upgrades are missing. WHICH MEANS,

gregory found and played the first two games. destroyed two animatronics. SURVIVED til 6am. THEN he went back, saved vanessa, and killed the last band member forrr…the fun of it?? to rub it in?

Im waiting for my sunscreen to soak in on the beach so have some thoughts on the gang going to the beach

Jonny, Max, Nancy, Steve, Robin, and Eddie decide to take a trip to Steve's parents beach house in the Outer Banks in North Carolina even though it's 14 hour drive

One day while they get there and they're out in the beach, no one was regressed except Robin being about 9

The waves being particularly choppy that day, Eddie was the one to bring all of them out into the water, except Steve deciding to sit in the sun like the mom he is

Eddie was standing beside Jonny as they decide to go out further much to Jonnys dismay, because he had been pelted in the face by water at least 4 times by now

As the waves kept getting higher and higher, Eddie gets completely WIPED out by a wave, like he full on got tossed

Nancy and Jonny were able to get their hands on him before he gets sucked out to sea, while they're laughing because they thought it was funny, but while making sure he's okay they find out that Eddie crashed extremely young

Eddie was crying as saltwater doesn't feel the best in your eyes, but in the process alerting Steve and Robin that were building a sandcastle

Steve ran out in the water and got him out, not caring about the people staring at them as he holds him close close his chest and got him dried off and all the salt he can out his eyes and mouth

Jonny, Max, and Nancy headed back to shore after that, Jonny and Max being half little from their friends accident and immediately being accepted into finishing the sand castle with Robin

Nancy heads over to Eddie who's now conked out on Steve's chest as crying and playing made him tired

"He'll be okay, he was just a bit startled"

"How old was he? He seemed really young when we checked on him"

"He's about 1 or 2, definitely younger than usual"

She heads over to the 3 and see that they abandoned the sandcastle so they can build an unnecessarily huge hole with a strip going to shore so they can build a makeshift pool thing

All is well, they order dinner and all the littles pile in the living room, watching some random late night movie after eating an ungodly icecream

OOOO BEACH MOMENT!!!!!!

OH WOW that's such a long ride 😭 i would not be able to survive that dear goodness ,, i feel like one day nancy just casually mentions how she wants to go to the beach & steve goes "oh, you know my parents have a beach house?" and suddenly everyone appears like "YOUR PARENTS HAVE A BEACH HOUSE????" & for the next week they will not stop dropping hints about it until one day steve drags a packed bag to the door & looks at everyone expectantly — "so you guys wanna go to the beach or not?" cut to all of them rushing to get their bags packed HSJDJEKD

while they're driving there's definitely a point where this happens:

steve: does anyone have to go to the bathroom before we leave? it's a 14-hour drive

everyone: no, steve!

[twenty minutes into the drive]

robin: ... hey, uh– steve?

steve, praying to GOD he's not about to say what he thinks he's about to say: yea, rob?

robin: i have to pee

& steve just sighs

but oooo poor eddie :(( he's just playing & splashing next to jonny & all of a sudden a wave crashes down on him & he's almost dragged out to sea :(( crying hard for steve to give him uppies & nuzzling into his chest when he lifts him & hurries inside the beach house with his towel, whispering "hey, it's alright, bud! you're okay, it's okay..." as he disappears inside

and those three building the sandcastle while they wait for their friend to recover aww (*´ω`*) robin notices how upset max looks & how guilty jonny seems for laughing, so she bounds over, grab their arms, & pulls them over — "nuh-uh, i'm not gonna let you two be sad! let's build this sandcastle! >:D" & they're like "mkay..!"

nancy comes back out later while they're digging that sand pool to check on them, & max just pops out from the middle with sand in her hair & on her mouth while she's sputtering ..."are you eating SAND?"

"s'not good, nanny >:~["

she looks at the other two to see robin taking a sip of water and- "ROBIN, that is NOT for drinking!"

"i got curious! it's salty 3:<"

jonny is like the only normal one, trying to stop max from shoveling more sand in her mouth HDJSJDJ like "maxiiie, das ickyyyy!!" & tugging her arm away, but she is adamant on getting more sand in her mouth. it IS icky, but she's stopping on her OWN accords, not anybody elses 😤

literally the only thing that gets her to stop is steve poking his head out & asking what they want for dinner ,, they all want different things, so steve goes "eh" & orders everything; it's their vacation, so what! let the kids eat whatever <3
