Im gonna be honest, i watched The Menu last night and all that been on my mind since then is getting a cheeseburger

i know it’s a bit silly to think they would really apply real specific primate species in monkey ball unless explicitly stated ( gongon being a gorilla , yanyan being a lemur etc. and even then there’s many specific types of those specific species. apparently aiai bares resemblance to a Barbary macaque according to the wiki 😭?)

if that’s the case I think he would have a tail so that’s why I kinda though him meemee and baby were chimps and “monkeys” was used as a more general term even though that’s not correct 😭 OKAY TANGENT. THAT NOT THE POINT .

palette and easel are like the only two characters with tails so they’d ACTUALLY be monkeys. it’s never explicitly stated which species they are but I like to headcannon that they dusky leaf monkeys bc the babies are born bright orange ………….. 🥹🥹🥹
