The Places I Wanna Visit
“Travel as much as you can. As far as you can. As long as you can. Life’s not meant to be lived in one place.”
I seldom to traveling since i was child. Today, as i am growing old and can making some travel to another destinations, with my own willing, money and travel mate, travelling is one activity that bring me relaxation and happiness. So you can pick me as your travel mate too. When travelling, I am enjoying the scenery outside, taking some pictures with beautiful occasion and sweet friends. I can feel togetherness and it recharge me to facing the reality again after it.
Here are the list of my favorite places I wanna go as long as I still alive. It divide on two flights, domestic and international destinations.
Domestic Destinations
1. Belitung Island
I love being sit or stand on the sand with the beach breeze. This island is amaze me beautifully with the big coral rocks spread through the beach. Beside the pretty natural destination, there is Museum Kata Andrea Hirata, the author of mega best seller book, The Rainbow Troops. The design is bright-colored and I really want to know how he was rising in this island as his born place. And many more places i want to go on this island, include the shooting places of The Rainbow Troops here.
2. Semarang
I had promise with friend to making visit to this place. This town is famous with the old town buildings. Beside that, there are many museums and natural destination that beautifully created.
3. Malang
In this town, you feel see some of the mountains with beautiful phenomena. You can see it from sunrise until sunset. It famous with the cheap and yummy street food around and cool even cold breeze even on the afternoon.
So what about the international? here they are.
1. Mekah, the holy place of Muslim. I wish I could be there doing Hajj or Umrah prayer with my family here.
2. Australia, the nearest British country that I wished to taking my next studies there.
3. Japan, with the rich and strong human culture and the tidiness this country applied on every single details of basic human needs.

Terserah Allah Saja..
“Bisa jadi, sebab kita terhalang dari takdir di depan sana adalah karena Allah Maha Tahu kita belum sanggup menerima apa yang kita pintakan. Mungkin dengan mengevaluasi kembali cara kita meminta dan redaksi atau isi doa yang dipanjatkan bisa membuka tabir takdir yang dinantikan.
Allah Maha Baik, Maha Baik. Dia Sayang sama kita, Nur. Kita aja yang kadang suka kelewat ngatur..
A : “Terserah Allah aja lah..”
N : “Ajarin aku dong biar bisa merasa ‘terserah Allah aja’ gitu..”
Obrolan kami terus berlanjut.
Manusia hanya mampu melangitkan doa, tetapi tetap Allah lah Yang Maha Membumikan takdir..
“If you really depend on God, then everything will fall into its proper place and be made clear to you. Take the means you can, but do not get attached to “what you want”; be open to the “whatever is best” principle. Trust in God and instead of asking Him to give you what you want, make du’a to receive from Him what is best for you.”
— Karim Serageldin
Selamat melangitkan harap, selamat menggetarkan Arsy-Nya..

I keep thinking about what I want to do in my twenties. I've already made plans for the coming year. Now I just want to make a mental note of what I intend to do. So, if I ever get off track, there are a few words that will stay with me about how I began the plan and where I'm going.
1. I intend to apply for a study abroad program next year. I applied before but was turned down, but that's okay because now I can properly prepare for it and am already familiar with the rules. The holidays were coming up next month, and I had planned to enroll in a proficiency English course and do exercises in preparation for the next DET test in January.
2. I realized that I have so many things that I want. Honestly, the allowance that my parents gave me is already enough, but I want something more because being financially independent is such a good thing, right? especially before you graduated. I have saved a thread on Twitter about having correspondence and getting paid, and I think I should try that.
3. I believe that spending this young age before officially becoming a pre-adult is a fantastic idea. Taking advantage of being Mama's only daughter by traveling before entering real life, where I should earn money and pay my living expenses on my own. In my twenties, I want to wander around Solo, Jogja, Semarang, and Bangka Belitung.
Overall, that's all I wanted to do and be with in my twenties. I'm hoping that everything will turn out to be an unforgettable experience and that everything will go smoothly.

This is another abandoned building, created by humans which is now being taken back over by nature (especially rabbits which are rather tame when approached by a tourist)
This is a poisonous gas factory in japan, called the Okunoshima island. Unfortunately I didn’t find much information on this place but i do have some research on what peoples experiences and opinions where like when they visited this building, someone said that its “small, interesting and inexpensive, the museum is good for giving more context about the abandoned buildings scattered around the island, and the islands history. Most of the descriptions were in Japanese, but we were given a guide in English once we bought our tickets. It’s only a small museum but the entrance fee is very reasonable and it was an interesting place to look around while we stepped out of the midday sun” other tourists have also said that “its a compact one room exhibition with pictures and props. Left an impression but unfortunately there was only 5 paragraphs in English and the remainder in Japanese” many other tourists and workers said that it is worth the price and a very good expense too. So the abandoned building is actually a museum. Many people call it the rabbit island as it is being overtaken by the local rabbits which are very tame to tourists and other human beings probably because its a tourist destination so they will be used to the ever returning people. This is a great place to show on my blog as it shows how nature is taking back over as you can see by the pictures that there is green foliage and leaves dangling down the walls and the rabbits are also a remembering thing. There is a documentary that i found online that focuses on the facts of the island, its about how an island has poisonous gas which was used to manufacture japans invasive war by the Chinese, and due to that it has now had a great deal of attention. The documentary was broadcasted by Tokyo (broadcasting system) Okunoshima is a small island located in the Seto inland Sea of Japan in Hiroshima prefecture. The kiss;and served as a poison gas factory for much of the chemical warfare that was carried out by the imperial Japanese army in china during World War Two. The documentary features a 32 year old popular idol in japan, visiting Okunoshima island. Interviewing 91 year old and others about the past of the island. In the 1940s the 91 year old was involved in the manufacturing of poison gas at a plant on the island and the gas was eventually used, among other heinous acts of aggression, against china. “The island now appears green. But it used to look yellow,” said the 91 year old. Adding that trees could not grow there due to the acid in the poison gas. Back then, 6,700 people were working on the island and manufacturing poison gas around the clock. The 91 year old man could still remember the chemical equation for the poison gas lewisite to be manufactured. “The poison gas was manufactured to secure japan a victory in its invasive war against china.” Said the man. “I will never forget this chemical equation. I went to learn these things to earn a living, but i ended up making poison gas to kill the Chinese people, I’m a criminal” he added. Numerous Chinese civilians were killed by the chemicals weapons used by the invading Japanese army. One such example was a Japanese gas attack at an underpass in Belitung village, some 1,000 villages were killed in that attack. But after the war, as the Japanese government was eager to cover up the atrocities, evidence was destroyed, so was the poison gas factory on the Okunoshima island. Currently the island has become a tourist spot with more then 700 wild rabbits living there, and is therefore also called rabbit island. The past crimes on,lay seem to exist in the memory of a handful of witnesses who are still alive.

Happy Birthday!
YES, I KNOW. Akhirnya gue memasuki kepala dua! It’s like i step on another level of life.
Let’s get started.
1. What’s your name? fay.
2. How old are you? 20.
3. What date is today? 18 April 2019
4. What is your favorite color? putih, abu-abu, hitam.
5. What advice would you give yourself a year from now? jangan pernah merasa menyesal terhadap hal-hal yang terjadi di hidup lu. karena itu adalah entah pilihan lu sendiri atau takdir. oh, dan satu lagi. you’re here not to please everyone. jadi, jangan pikirkan apa kata orang.
6. Biggest thing to happen in your life? semua yang gue tahu, hal terbaik yang pernah terjadi di hidup gue adalah: perasaan ketika diterima (masuk kampus, organisasi, atau teman-teman menerima keberadaanmu); dan perasaan ketika berhasil (mencapai puncak gunung, wisuda, dll.)
7. Do you have a boyfriend? nggak punya. sampai sekarang gue masih nggak suka ide dua orang saling memiliki satu sama lain. dan gue orangnya bosenan kalo cuma harus sama satu orang.
8. What’s your biggest regret? menyesal karena tidak baik dalam melakukan sesuatu. contohnya: pernah ngomong tapi gak dipikirin dulu yang malah berakhir menyakiti hati lawan bicara.
10. How do you define yourself in 3 words? sad. independent. girl.
11. What’s your philosophy? born alone. live alone. die alone.
12. What would be your dream job? dibayar untuk melakukan hal-hal yang disenangi.
13. Who is the most fascinating person you’ve met? orang asing. gue pernah ketemu orang ini di stasiun dan dia mengucapkan terima kasih ke petugas yang sedang berjaga sebelum keluar gate. melihat dia melakukan hal sesimpel itu bikin gue kagum. karena nggak semua orang melakukan hal yang sama walaupun sederhana.
14. What was the last book you really got into? Dear Jane, karya Pratiwi Juliani.
15. What do you like to do in your free time? tidur. seriusan, nggak boong.
16. What amazing adventures have you been on? mendaki gunung, menyusuri lembah, berkelana ke kota (dan negara) orang, dan bermain air di laut!
17. Among your friends, what are you best known for? keren HAHAHA
18. What’s been the most significant plot twist in your own life? cita-cita jadi pilot tapi berakhir jadi pegawai negeri🤣
19. What’s your plan next? mau solo travel ke makassar/belitung. mau naik gunung lain (yang masih di jawa). mau konsisten nabung dan berinvestasi dan hidup minimalis. mau hidup bebas HAHAHA. dan mau lebih rajin lagi belajarnya!
20. What have you decided you will never do again in your life?

Reasons Why I Will Never Go Back For Holiday to Belitung
If you are following my story on Instagram, you would notice lately I went to an island for a short journey over the weekend. I went to visit a not-so-famous island located at east part of Sumatera island, called Belitung, as well as a few other smaller islands around the main island. Belitung is considered as one of the richest islands in Indonesia. The island of Belitung produces more than 90 percent of the tin in Indonesia, which is the world's biggest exporter of the metal. In my deepest heart and very honest of mine, short getaway visiting this island was one of my worst decisions I’ve ever made in the entire life!
No joke!
If I ever have a second chance to go back to Belitung, I would definitely stay longer & have a better plan than my last trip. I swear I will never go back again for holiday to Belitung … - wait, I know most probably of you click this link because of the controversial words I put on the title - I mean I will never go back again to Belitung if it is just a short getaway for 2 or 3 days. I need to stay there at least 1 week simply because this island literally has bunch of things to see! :p
Tumblr media
2 weeks ago, I decided to fly to this island with friends of mine. The only thing I know about this island is - well, as you expect already - about the Laskar Pelangi movie. I didn’t expect that this island has a very beautiful landscape to offer till I see it all by myself once I land here.
Pantai Tanjung Tinggi
Tumblr media
Located in between two peninsula in north part of the island around 30 minutes away from capital city Tanjung Pandan, this beach mostly known as Pantai Laskar Pelangi because this beach was featured in the Rainbow Troops movie. The beach? I would say, this is going to be most recommended beach to you when you are visiting the main island Belitung.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Once you are here, you will see there are big rocks that form a tunnel through which you can walk through. This place offers a gorgeous panorama view with beautiful coral reefs that can be see with the naked eye. You may also help the local business by renting banana boat or jet skis to enjoy the exotic and very compelling view too. The price? nothing to worry about, they won’t cheat you. I can say the price is very fair.  Up until now I still remember the details of the place and how good the view is.
Danau Kaolin
Tumblr media
Lake Kaolin used to be called mine Kaoling because this place used to be tin mining area. It’s true tin mining on this sleepy island off Sumatra has brought wealth but at a price, this hurts our earth and literally eating away at the land.
But in the other hand, due to the environmental damage over the years some artificial lakes naturally have formed.  The result, you may find a very beautiful landscape with spectacular blue colour spot or what my millennial generation labelled as an Instagrammable spot.
Tumblr media
And It’s pretty easy to visit this place. It’s just 3 kms away from the city center Tanjung Pandan!
Laskar Pelangi School
Tumblr media
Let us get back to talk about the basic thing that makes this island became famous. Laskar Pelangi or Rainbow Troops, is a 2008 Indonesian movie adapted from the popular same title book written by Andrea Hirata. The film is the highest grossing in Indonesian box office history.
This school was once a witness the journey of 10 children that come from not so fortunate family and their two inspirational teachers as they are all struggle with poverty yet still develop hopes for the better future.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This school indeed got me chill. Since I read the book and watch the movie.
This is a reminder that there is a lot we take for granted in this country which is a privilege in other, less fortunate places - such as the right free education
This school indeed got me chill since I read the book and watch the movie back then.
Tumblr media
If you are at Laskar Pelangi replica already, it is also recommended to drop by to its author’s word museum. It is located pretty near from the replika school, around 1 km to the city
Island Hop to the Smaller Island!
Alright, while you are in Belitung you literally need to make sure to free your schedule for a day to do this island hop to smaller islands off to the main island. I’m obsessed with the spectacular views from all of these islands! I went to 5 smaller islands off to the main island. Here you go!
1st: Batu Garuda Island
Tumblr media
1st stop! Well, honestly I didn’t go there because it was pretty hot and I decided to skip this spot because it is just rocks. BUT, please do not follow what I did. Now, I kind of regret it. I should have spare some time to enjoy the view here instead :(
2nd: Pasir Island
Tumblr media
Am I dreaming? No I am not.
Yes, I know right.
Tumblr media
And when you know how much it means, you find that special thing. You are flying without wings
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Honestly, this island is the most favourite island on this island hoping trip. I am literally amazed with the view in this island. Well, it’s not literally an island though. You can only land on this ‘island during the dry season.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Don’t ever think you can sleep over on this island because this is nothing but a patch of sand around 5-10 meters in diamater.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You can often find stranded starfish here to pose with. BUT please DO NOT touch it or even BRING this cute patrick home. If you taking them out of water you are only making this cutie patrick stressed. Remember, they are all part of nature DO NOT bring it to your home for your decoration. Just DO NOT :)
3rd: Lengkuas Island
Or you may say, the iconic Pristine beach of Belitung which is known for their lighthouse built during dutch colonial and it is still used today.
Tumblr media
I suggest you to climb all the way up 19 levels to have a bird’s eye view of the island and its surroundings with very clear water seabed view which is MAJOR SPECTACULAR.
Tumblr media
Can you spot me?
Tumblr media
You have to pay 5,000 rupiahs to enter. But it is very cheap with what you will get to see when you are at the top of the lighthouse.
4th: Pulau Babi
This is actually an island where it is a little bit civilised among the others smaller islands. You may find a good food for your lunch in the middle of your island hoping journey. It is actually good island too for picture anyways!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
5th: Batu Berlayar Island
Alright, the trip is almost over! I was pretty sad when my guide said this is the last island for this journey.
Tumblr media
But who would be sad if you can swim in natural swimming pool the pristine water, exploring deserted island and just being outdoors!
Tumblr media
6th: Snorkelling Time?
You guys, really, need to do this activity while you are doing island hoping. Because it is just, YOU HAVE TO DO THIS! Why? See la these pictures below!
Tumblr media
Hello new BFFs!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
See? This is definitely a VIEW!
Sunset at Tanjung Pendam
If you are lucky enough, you would see a very gorgeous sunset view over the magrib.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
4 days is a very short when you are here. Time flies to fast and it’s time for me to go back to my reality. I will see you again soon Belitung with the love of my life and of course with the longer days and more adventure trip!
Tumblr media
Quoting my Instagram: You will learn something new and you will have a story to tell when you are lost - like this peaceful street in the middle of random palm oil field.
Tumblr media
See you later Belitung!

Shoot with @iyokay
Last week when I want to visit my friend’s coffee shop, suddenly I had met with my firends (@iyokay). We talk a lot about life, traveling, journey. She is an incredible woman, who leave her hometown to the capital city for her carrier. She was very random, but she had know actually what she want. She do what she think and responsible for what she do. She says, “My life is about people and everything around me which is making me alive. “I think, I do” is my potential word, many things are you thinking, but you don’t do anything about that, it’s useless.”
She was inspired by humans, who want to share their knowledge, experiences, tell the stories about science, social, political, destination or anything else but not overbearing. When I asking her what’s something you want to learn about or learn to do, she told me that she want to learn photography, write an article, and standing on skateboard, for the sake I shoked for the last one. Regarding she was work in the media company before she move on another company, photography and writing articles are two things that can never be separated. She knows it and she would do it.
When I talk about a few things about a career in a job in Jakarta, certainly not easy to survive with the condition of the capital right now. To achieve success, she has her own opinion. She told me, “Success is when you get a little “extra” something or anything you do not want or imagine, yap you got it.”
She told me that she love traveling, such as Belitung Island, Bali Island, Celebes Island had been visited by her. “More destinations that can change my mindset, more sneakers, and more spicy food”, that is something in her bucket list. Last but not least, Limitless is her style.

25 Oktober 2019
I think I have to write it now. beberapa ahl penting tak ku tulisakan lagi di sini. Story about my confession and how do I feel about that. Story about my job dan orang-orang yang kuhadapi di dalamnya. Cerita tentang how supportive my Co TL and my co workers around me. Story about my family, my grandmother, my cousins, and grandmother in law. Trigger-nya sederhana, sepanjang perjalananku dari The Margo Hotel menuju Pool Bis Primajasa Cililitan aku meneruskan membaca e-book Joshua Miller "The Things Remains". I read the part that give me inspiring. Just sit down at least for two hours without any distraction. Kalau memang blank, duduk saja. I think I should try it, every day. First I wanna tell my story about my confession. Long short story, dia bisa membaca tentangku. Yes, she read my mind and my personality. What she said triggered me to make a confession to someone, by email. Yes, by email. sounds so crazy but that's the fact. I wrote the story about my conversation that triggered me to confess my feeling to him then I told --wrote-- that I like him and I believe he is the right one. I sent it by email. Lol. But the aftermath makes me crazy and feeling down. I mean, I never get the reply. He never answer it and I don't know his feeling towards me. Well, I never ask him to reply my email, literally. But I expect he will reply it. My bad, I expect it. Tapi yang membuat aku terluka bukan tentang perasaan dia terhadapku. Tapi cara dia merespon emailku. Dia mute akun IG ku, he hide IG story for me, dia mute atau mungkin block nomor WA ku. He is like a coward. Padaha kalau memang tidak suka ya tinggal bilang tidak suka. Tell me that he doesn't like me, he can reject me tho. Cara dia merspon membuat aku menduga-duga, apakah aku sangat mengganggu baginya. Am I really annoying him so he won't me in his life 'till he block my number and social media like I am a spam olshop. It hurts me a lot. I have to move on and it's not my fault he reject me. His shitty attitude doesn't deserve my attention. Don't give a damn on it. So, surprisingly, I removed him from my follower and move on.

Just came back from 6-days digital detox. The last time I did it was 5 years ago, also in Bangka. What a coincidence! 🏝 “DIGITAL DETOX Every once in a while, I do what it is called “Digital Detox”. It’s a period of time when I dilaberately disconnected from internet, post absolutely nothing on any social media, not checking chats or emails, refrain to use any gadget and even take photos as less as possible (but if someone took pics of me, I don’t mind at all, haha) The purpose? To reset and refocus, reduce stress and embrace more on social interaction. And for me, it’s also for meditation. For an avid internet user, it’s much easier said than done to do so. We’ve become so dependent to our gadgets, for every activity that we do in real life. Not to mention there’s the constant sense of Fear Of Missing Out anxiety lies within each of us, avid social media users. So usually, I forced myself doing it by escape to beautiful places. Last year I started from weekend in Teluk Kiluan, then upgraded to a whole week in Karimun Jawa. This year, I did it again for 8 days in Belitung and Bangka island. And even after I came back, I still have no appetite in posting on social media, yet =D” Read the original post here: https://post.nuniek.com/post/90064653243/digital-detox-every-once-in-a-while-i-do-what-it 🏝 #nutsays #nutsthought #nutstrip #nutsbangka #nutstyle #nutslyfe #bangka (at Eco Park Sungailiat) https://www.instagram.com/p/ByiYqtPhtaD/?igshid=gnpv9xnzo60u
