There’s so many fucking types of aliens. There’s Hominids, Gnarpians, Kraang, Penelians. Technically any Minecraft and Monster Hunter creature are also aliens.

Thinking about FNaF and Dandy’s World more. If DW has been around long enough to have vintage designs for their characters, then their cartoons likely came out before Fazbears. I mean, earliest depiction we have of a Fazbear cartoon is Fredbear and Friends in 1983, which may not even be a cartoon. It could be a commercial for all we know.

But Fazbear was making big money, and these cartoons contributed to that. So DW decided to take the fight to Fazbear’s home terf: attractions. And they started Gardenview, an educational center for children. But then disaster struck and DW was pushed out of the competition, unable to make a comeback from the loss.

Now Im just thinking about if any of the FNF Squad would have seen the DW cartoons in their youth in my AU. It would line up, since the episodes did air when they were younger.

Since you all are awesome and super swag I have decided to drop an intermission poll between now and next week's semi-finals.

This time, the poll is addressing a common misconception of what these polls are. Many people believe them to be a real, physical fight, but the ultimate villain showdown is a game of wit! That said wit being who is a better written, expressed, and shown off villain in their respective series.

This poll, however...this poll is a fight. So, without further adieu...

The fight has 2 possible perspectives; a pokemon battle and a fistfight. I would like for you all to evaluate both scenarios and pick a winner of the one you deem more important to come out on top as the victor. More details below the cut to help you decide;

POKEMON BATTLE;

-Based off the USUM Rainbow Rocket Teams

-Giovanni has a mega evolving Mewtwo (X or Y, doesn't matter, whatever you think would be better for him to have)

-Ghetsis has Hydreigon with surf (Giovanni is a ground type specialist)

-Ghetsis also has either Reshram or Zekrom (also up to whatever you believe would be stronger)

-Imagining this battle in your head with two high skill players is actually incredibly fascinating and though it seems skewed in favor of one party, it's quite possible to imagine the other party winning as well.

THE TEAMS, FOR CONTEXT;

FISTFIGHT;

-Giovanni is based off a mob boss/yakuza. Would likely not be afraid to get his hands dirty and has a high probability of having experience in a bare-fist fight like this before.

-Ghetsis does have a staff that could keep Giovanni at bay and lots of clothes that could lessen blows.

-Ghetsis's staff could also be used as a weapon, however if Giovanni manages to disarm Ghetsis he could in return pick up the staff and reverse the situation

-Its debatable whether or not Ghetsis has the same experience with fighting as Giovanni.

So I'm in Bangkok right now and yesterday I was touring through the Japan Expo 2024 event and passed by a blackface'd cosplayer in the wild

which, unfortunately, didn't surprise me too much at the time since Thailand culture specifically has problems with this kind of thing and has shown obliviousness in to the modern concept of blackface in many such cases (see infamous dunkin donuts advert). as a foreign white guy, I'm not in a position to try and lecture anyone, and eventually I just moved on. but what's fucking crazy about this whole thing is that when I told this to my friends later, they were able to pinpoint my exact location that day because said blackface cosplayer had just uploaded a group photo to twitter

and it went viral because it was a cosplay of O'saa from Fear and Hunger; baby's first blackface, during BHM of all times

I haven't played Fear and Hunger so I didn't recognize it as such at the time but man. this whole thing is a mess. the cosplay group has since apologized and pledged to do better but this whole thing is still such a shitshow. and I was there. I saw them in their element, having fun, laughing, and they really had no idea that a few hours from then they were going to be in the deep end (they still haven't deleted the original tweet!).

anyway, I don't mean for this to sound like self-important bragging about being a live witness to racism or anything. it's just a bizarre set of coincidences that I've yet to get over.

OKAY FINALLY I GOT MY OC DRAWN GOD IM SUCH A PROCRASTINATOR

Anyway here she is, I'll put some of the basic lore I have for her under the cut since I don't wanna waste anyone's time

Also we'll not talk about how bad quality it is, literally just speedran getting this done so I would finally have a design to draw if I ever draw yume stuff.

So anyway, just gonna say this first that I know little about anything outside of lmk so I got no idea for accuracy but ANYWAY-

I don't have a name for her so she's just gonna be nameless or referred to the same name as me (Ame) until I can think of one.

Either way she's originally from the celestial realm and was just mainly an assistant to more important immortals, but she liked dancing so she usually did so at night time. Long story short she ended up dying and got reincarnated and in modern day she's kind of like an idol or influencer (not sure which one, I'm still working out the kinks) but she mainly does dance covers and also does various events with others.

That's the basics of what I got, I have more details in my head but I'll keep them hidden until I can work it out better in my head. And also cause I'm semi embarrassed over some details dhwkehfjfj

i went down a rabbit hole and investigated all the water on snaktooth island :)

so I was just playing bugsnax as you do and then I realized....

The river in scorched gorge doesn't lead anywhere. So I was like "I must find out where it goes" and I ended up looking through the entire map's river system :,)

Also, disclaimer, I know nothing about hydrology I am pulling all of this analysis out of my ass. My source of knowledge is half remembered facts from middle school and youTube videos looking through the river systems of video games for fun lmao

We shall start from the source ! Frosted Peak

Of course, the frozen rivers and pond come from snow melt. I assume the pond was formed from the river periodically unfreezing and eventually being able to hold enough water that it couldn't be frozen completely. Although Frosted Peak is able to freeze MOVING WATER that is insane. I will ignore this for my own sanity

The pond then drains off the side of the mountain. This river probably has liquid water underneath the ice because like yeah.

The river does disappear, probably going underground.

The water then moves into Flavor Falls. The waterfalls do appear to be coming from tunnels, which supports the theory that the river in Frosted Peak went underground, but...

As you can see, there's a big gap between the falls and the mountain 🙂 which certainly complicates things. Although, there is a bridge between them. So it could be that the water is going through there ? I'm just gonna chalk it up to the island being weird and also not being modeled with accurate hydrology in mind and pretend it doesn't exist

the waterfalls pool into one spot, separates into two rivers, and quickly rejoins with each other.

The river then follows a straight path and ducks under a rock.

Before we continue the river, why don't we look at the ponds in Flavor Falls :) starting with the one in Mama Mewon's cave.

It's probably rain water that pooled there because there isn't anywhere else it could have came from

There's also this little cave.

The water seems to be coming from a split-off from the underground river.

It's flowing towards the collapsed passage entrance, so it probably goes through the passage a bit before breaking out and depositing into the sea

Anyways, back onto the main river !!! After going under the rock it follows the groove

And falls into Garden Grove !

The river splits, with one side flowing into a pond that probably goes into another underground river which turns into not my problem ! Yay :)

The other one goes down the hill and leads to Snaxburg

And Snaxburg is where we have a major split in the river, going to Scorched Gorge and Simmering Springs respectively.

The river in Simmering Springs isn't much to make note about. You can't even see it, it's between Snaxburg and Simmering Springs and I can't even find a way to look at it.

There's also the springs, which like yeah it's next to a volcano there would probably be some volcanic springs and geysers. The fact that they're all on raised rocks doesn't make sense but once again it's just meant to look cool it's not meant to be accurate.

ALTHOUGH there is one geyser that's accurate by my very inaccurate standards :D along with the one in Sprout's training area

Boiling Bay doesn't have any rivers or ponds so we're just gonna skip that one and return to the major split and head into scorched gorge

The river flows down into the gorge and almost splits into two, but one ends up seeping into the ground.

You can tell that it either used to or sometimes does become an actual split by the indent in the ground and also by the fact that the gorge is circle and was carved by a river

The successful split ends up also seeping into the ground, which the other one would also do if it formed.

Some groundwater surfaces in the cave of Simmering Sands

Along with the oasis. Idk whether it naturally formed or was grump-made

Now for the ponds in Sugarpine Woods !

There aren't any visible rivers, so either they get their water from an underground river or rain and/or snow melt

Edit since a lot of people seem confused - your "real" name is the name that you want to be referred to in real life. It doesn't have to be your legal name. So if you're trans and you have a different name to whats on your birth certificate, even if not many people call you by the name, it still counts as your real name.

Hello everyone,

Brazil is underwater, and we come here asking you for your help.

As some of you may know, the state of Rio Grande do Sul (RS) has been getting torrential rains since last Monday (29/04/24).

In four days, it has rained 436,2 millimeters (17,2 inches), which’s triple the normal amount in a month, which is 140 millimeters (5,5 inches) 

More than two great rivers in our region had their volume duplicated, or sometimes, triplicated in size.

This means all the cities that are close to these rivers ended up completely underwater

There were more than 110 towns flooded and the estimate is that more than half a million people have been affected by this climate disaster. There are also thousands of people who are arriving in my city (the state capital, Porto Alegre) as climate refugees, coming from communities displaced by the floods.

Through this unprecedented tragedy we have been really happy to see entire communities mobilizing to help others. Still, there are people who have lost everything, especially those in marginalized communities living in precarious, unsafe and unsanitary housing.

That’s where you come in. We need money. Money to buy food, clothes, medicine, basic hygiene products, mattresses so that refugees have a place to sleep, basically everything.

Right now, the biggest demand is drinkable water: my city is almost completely out of water, because the water treatment stations have been flooded. 

We understand that you may be able to give very little, but also what is little to you means A Lot more to us. Just a dollar is enough to buy 5 liters of fresh water.
