They are so close and yet so far way from each other!#Fundamentally they *agree* about many things - but JC now has to play the role of someone more 'mature'.#His temper is reigned in and he had to take a more nuanced approach. Whereas WWX can be far more reactionary.#JC has changed to become someone more mature (or at least he is trying).#Contrast this attitude with the scene *right* after where WWX literally goes baby mode with JYL. Rolling around going “I'm Fwee years old”.#When children are hurt we comfort them with hugs and warm food and a laugh. It's not enough when you're an adult. It's not simple anymore.#WWX is stuck in the past when everyone else is shifting and moving on! It's a depression allegory (and just...actual depression)#But we also get to see how some things have stayed the same. They still bicker about soup. They still tease. They are still together.#They all care for each other very much but they are struggling against trauma and are not equipped to talk about it.#You can't really blame WWX for being so protective over JYL. But JC is right: “You don't have a say in who she likes.”#It may have started as an arranged marriage but *she* is *choosing* what her heart wants. JC sees that. WWX cannot.#The final act of love is letting go after all.

#kingdom hearts#kh1#traverse town#dalmatian puppies#scenery#my gif#it's so unfortunate what happened to the puppies#but i think being able to collect them and return them to their parents was such a cool little side quest#not only did it give you a reason to return back to traverse town every now and then#but it also showcased how tragic it is that a world falling to darkness can spread its inhabitants virtually anywhere with no way of return#you saw how sad leon was when he talked about the lost puppies and how depressed pongo and perdita look when you first visit them#they eventually perk up as their family slowly makes their way home and it was cute to receive gifts of gratitude#being able to gradually see more puppies return to their cozy little house felt so rewarding

fuck timezones do you know how hard it is to talk to my friends when they have a different sleep schedule than me. i go to bed at 9pm and wake up at 6 to see notifications from my buddy from literally 5 in the morning. thats a one hour overlap of us both sleeping. there is not a time difference between us theres no reason for this shes just sick in the head and im a 75 year old man with a bedtime
#my other friend will be like hey if we’re hanging out tomorrow just call me when youre leaving so i get up#and itll be like. 2 in the afternoon. he’s literally nocturnal#i get a message while im getting all cozy in bed like hey man whats up because i go to bed as hes waking up because its a sick freak.#all my friends are vampires and im an old old man in my nightgown and sleeping cap with my little fuckin candelabra shuffling off to retire#for the evening#we hangout for one (1) hour and i go guys i am so sleepy i cannot do this#and they go nooo olease dont go to bed we miss you stay in the call one more episode pleeease and im already alseep#staying up past midnight is like medieval torture to me. its not ethical its not humane no human being should be forced to face such terrors

[TUVOKTOBER: Day 17] Little Things Grown with Care.
#I drew this based heavily on illustrations by seiichi hayashi! They all have a pretty calming dreamy feel#I also had to reference Tuvok's room which was HARD#You catch a glimpse of it in 'Alter Ego' though.#he has so many candles and candle holders and ornate looking trinkets#I like it...it feels grandparent-cozy if that makes sense? Like it'd smell of incense and be a little too warm#and then there's also - of course- the plants <3 mostly flowers#I like the thought of Tuvok's loungewear being a bit fancy and silky#but when someone knocks at the door he quickly pulls on a robe or gown to go over it for modesty's sake#I wonder what he does in the privacy of his quarters...we really on see him meditating or reading#I wonder if he ever watches a movie and eats whatever he'd consider a snack while lounging on the couch#I wonder if he hums while cleaning#Tuvoktober#Tuvok#st voyager#st voyager art

unpopular opinion: SALAD FINGERS IS NOT A MASOCHIST !! he is just an extremely traumatised man and does whatever he can to take back control in his life. and in doing so, it has become an extremely unhealthy coping mechanism.
this is gonna go into fanon territory, but hear me out.. he does not like pain, he doesn't like harming himself, he doesn't even like violence of any sort, and he doesn't like being mistreated, but he's so utterly desperate to just snatch back whatever little control he has over his life and make the most of it that he HAS to hurt himself otherwise someone will do it for him and he won't be able to stop them. truth be told, if anyone lays a finger on him, he'll burst into hysterics cus he has no control over how people touch him (even though he really should), and feels so shitty when he hurts himself because he fears that he's becoming just like his aggressors.
you wanna know what would heal him? a loving, intimate, healthy, and vanilla relationship (*^▽^)/★*☆♪

Can't wait to be a mom someday
#tradlife#tradwife#tradblr#catholic#traditional gender roles#slow living#homemaker#homemaking#cozy aesthetic#cozycore#cottagecore#talked with my boyfriend about getting engaged the other day#he wants to wait a bit until hes closer to finishing up with the military and me finishing up my masters#he said he was a little envious of a colleague who brought in their little kid into work#not in like a bad way but in a 'aw i want one' sort of way#we've talked about being parents and how great our little family would be and how well we could share what we know#we're both unique and he can help with sports and outside work and i can teach them music and cooking and homemaking#and he joked he can teach the boys how to make edible food lol#which i said no one is escaping the kitchen. everyone is going to at least know the basics of cooking because its a skill#and maybe our future boys will need to help their wives someday or at least when they're bachelors#but i cant wait#i am a professional violinist and music teacher so when i say i can teach them music im quite serious#im going into violin/viola performance for my masters#and i could sing professionally but im fine with just cantoring for church#they appreciate it#i have to wait at least two years to get married to finish my masters but i am really looking forward to having a family#maybe we can have a family right away too#thats be nice#just really looking forward to the future#just gotta make it through grad school

ngl I’m kind of living for the new house tour these recent videos are giving 😩🤌🏻👀 I wonder why he moved tbh
Oh yeah, that new place is gorgeous! I was just saying that I love how different this place feels from the previous one. All the exposed wood and pops of color with that splash of tile over the stove and all the stained glass. Much more of an old fashioned style compared to how sleek and modern the other house was.
There's plenty of reasons why he could've moved but to me, it's not too surprising considering he was the last of the guys to still be living in the same place from when they all bought homes what, 7, 8 years ago now. He was in his early 20s then, he's months out from 30 now. That's a lifetime to a young adult, especially one living such as hectic and eventful lives as these guys. Styles change, needs change. Plus it must be nice not having invasive randos know your address anymore 🤪
#i LOVED that house do not get me wrong#he shared so many good times there#i just like that this one feels different so it's truly like a new era#i know absolutely nothing about architecture beyond what I've gleaned from building for Sims and watching Sims builds lmao#but from the wood and vaulted ceilings I want to call this a craftsman style home?#anyways i love that it has that mountainy cabin-y feel while still being like. an everyday home if that makes sense#anyways it cozy and pretty just like him so 10/10#ask#anon
