finished veilguard last night. isn’t it interesting how even a hawke who approves of anders’ actions always calls him a monster but an inquisitor who vowed to stop solas always calls him a friend + asks if he can be reasoned with…..#suspicious #nooticing #imjustsaying

hearing the inquisitor say that literally made me question whether i'd chosen the right option in the character creator. he literally killed varric and they're less mad at him than they were in trespasser??? more able to forgive than hawke was about someone they agreed to run off into the sunset with???

if bioware do make a dlc for veilguard i will only accept a mass effect citadel style one. Rook and co can't go back into the fade so the inquisitor gifts them skyhold and the entire dlc is just inviting every single one of dragon age's previous characters to a massive party

The first story post I made was typed out in the immediate aftermath of finishing the game - so I was sustained by pure disappointment and mild rage lmao.

I ended up making a lot of edits to that post because I rushed it out and basically rambled, and I want this post to be more concise and not need to have any edits (hopefully!). The Lore lost post will likely be a bit more subjective, since there's every chance that BioWare could bring it up again, potentially - even though the games seem to be heading 'across the seas' according to what they set up. I also have to go through the codex entries/books as a refresher at times, so its taking a little longer to get it all together :)

There were also a lot of lore reveals in datv that were also just poorly revealed or were treated with such a lack of gravitas (by the story and Rook) that I'll be including them too. It is coming! I just want it to be done right. :)
