Today was the day 2 two absolutely wonderful shows ended. First was If it's with you, a Japanese BL and the other is IFYLITA, a Thai BL. Watching I Feel you Linger in the Air these past 12 weeks has rewired my brain, literally.

It was such a beautiful heart wrenching show right from the start to the finish. I knew what was going to happen, the inevitable fate of someone who has come from the future. I couldn't stop crying knowing the pain of separation that would span across dimensions and time. I could feel Khun Yai's and Jim's despair, sorrow, longing and their love for one another as they spent those last moments together.

Oh, what a way to end the show. Of course, the very last bit made no sense to me and I'm momentarily ignoring that because I'm so overwhelmed by Bright and Nonkul and the wonderful characters they brought to life.

I cried throughout the episode, non stop, unable to pull myself out of the story. This is a true sign of good storytelling, when you can immerse yourself wholly into the story and become part of it. I feel as though I lived with Khun and Yai and Jom, and watched them fall in love with each other. I feel like I was part of their extended family. That's how much the story touched me.

I'm waiting for season 2 which I heard will happen. So, that should definitely answer all my questions about the last 5 minutes of the episode. Or even the special episode could answer my confusion. I'll just have to wait and see.

just finished watching the entire 4 seasons of mr. robot. i promise i'm okay. promise i'm sooo normal about it. it did not just send me into a complete reevaluation of myself and my whole life.

#i have SO many things to say about the many details i noticed #from so beautifully crafted cinematography and shot composition to how they portrayed did etc...#but i fear i'm only going to ruin this beautiful experience by analyzing. u just need to watch and experience.#and feel.#i loved how mr robot had a perfect closure and how they weren't too on the nose with foreshadowing but just enough to keep you engaged #what a beautiful watch #mr robot

…The utter joy to see the sky & marveling at the world. The wonder of it still managing to light up the eyes of someone who has seen the very worst of it. It’s no wonder both Chaol & Dorian fell in love with her … how could you not love that?

watched lost in translation and…wow

keeping up with awards season has truly turned me into such a vitriolic and bitter person i think the academy should explode and there should be no survivors

#been watching so many nominated movies recently #to try to understand why saltburn is losing #but its just making me love saltburn more and hate the award shows that dont recognize it #i think it’s label as a shock value movie really killed it when thats obviously not what it is #like its so fucking beautiful and thoughtfully filmed #frame composition was taken into account in every fucking shot #but no cinematography nom #and the score is so amazing with big orchestral pieces that swell in the perfect moments #i still wake up with felix amica in my head #but no score nom #and not even to mention all of the incredibly talented actors who put so much love and work into this movie #who absolutely deserve to be recognized but they arent.#because it’s a shock value film.#and all of oliver’s confusion and heartbreak is overshadowed by viral cummy bath water tiktoks #its just so unfair lol #i could go on but. whatever. fingers crossed for baftas i guess.

The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart | Miniseries (2023), Sarah Lambert

#the lost flowers of alice hart #this show is visually mesmerizing #the cinematography is IMPECCABLE #also the score just so beautiful and meaningful in subtle ways #the story is painful but it's mostly told in a gentle and compassionate way #the only issue i have with it is the ending damn it #everything wrapped up in a beautiful bow absolving from blame - when no absolution was necessary #and also ending a masterpiece of subtle storytelling with the most heavyhanded I AM GOING TO SPELL OUT THE MORAL sequence :(#still a lovely show #and what do they put in australian water how do they keep making such pretty shows #tv 2024 #i made this #i just want a tag for the things i personally put out into the world

society if the buccaneers didn't have to have a love triangle in the middle of it..........

#literally every other side plot is sooo much better #ENOUGH love triangles. unless they have an interesting unique angle then i don't want it #and 'wow two hot guys instantly fell in love with her what shall she do' for a whole season is NOT interesting #if it wasn't for the beautiful cinematography i probably would've turned off once the love triangle started #talking

Rerun - PP Krit Entertainment

I had a nice surprise when a certain short film popped up on my feed and I saw PP Krit's face. I've been waiting to watch him act in something, anything, so that I could revel in the beauty of his acting and his being.

So, as I watched this masterpiece which was just shy of 20 minutes, I was yet again transported to another world.

The framing of the characters, the screen ratio, the lighting, the VHS edits, the video game, all of it has a surreal feeling to it. This relationship exists in a time outside of my reality, because the nostalgia it brought upon me was so poignant.

Finally watched the live action Little Mermaid and I just. The Little Mermaid was always my favourite Disney as a child, I watched it more times than I could ever count. I think I delayed watching the action version for so long cause I worried it would ruin the beloved story and songs that meant so much to me.

but now I finally watched it. and I'm just. filled with awe and gratitude. it's obvious that the people involved in making the movie loved the original animated movie almost as much as I do. rather than the cheapened imitation I feared, it's a beautiful BEAUTIFUL adaption that further fleshed out the characters and their emotions, whilst also adding new wonderful songs I just know child!me would have obsessed over. adult!me might still obsess over them

I just. I'm so so grateful for the labour of love that was this movie. To everyone involved - thank you!
