Okay so like stick with me but young Derek, alive hale fam au.

So like the Hale family finds out that Derek has a crush on Sheriff Stilinski’s delinquent son, and has mixed reactions. Talia is torn between amusement, worry and wanting to dislike stiles. Papa hale is very protective but thinks it funny that him and his son have the same tastes.

Peter is ecstatic, Stiles once beat him in chess when running from the cops. (stiles was running and sat down in the park around people for cover, turns out he interrupted a chess tournament. Peter challenged him to a game if stiles lost, Peter would turn him over to the police. If he won, stiles could use him as an alibi)

The rest of his siblings don’t really have an opinion other than using Derek’s crush to make fun of him EXPECT for Laura. Laura is in a one sided rivalry with stiles.

As the sheriff right hand deputy she was tasked with keeping an eye out for stiles and she constantly loses him. Which shouldn’t be possible because she’s a werewolf. She can never connect him to a crime he’s committed and can never prove anything. Can’t go to a judge a say “oh he left a scent trail which I followed because I’m a werewolf.”

Derek brings him home to dinner after they start dating. Unfortunately, the day that Derek brings him over, is also the day that Laura had to run around town taking reports of his crimes. She is fuming. Stiles looks her dead in her twitching eye and asked her how her day went.

The only crime she can connect him to is when he commit aggravated assault against a few of Derek’s teammates went to far with hazing. (Derek refused to fight back as not to hurt them) she lets him off.

Absolutely in love with the fact that the "Stiles Stilinski is Part of the Pack" tag automatically redirects to the "Stiles Stilinski is Part of Derek Hale's Pack" tag.

Because. That's not what that tag, with that phrasing, HAS to mean. The Pack could refer to... ya know... the canon pack he's a part of, in that "reassurance of sticking to canon" way that isn't even rare on AO3.

Jimmy held Tom close to his chest, grinning gently at his son as the boy blinked up at him in wonder. He never would have thought that his relationship with Joel would allow for such a blessing. A tiny fist wrapped around the bandana tied at his neck, causing Jimmy to laugh lightly.

“You like your Pa’s bandana, Tom?” He whispered, bouncing his son gently as the child grinned at the sound of his laughter and voice, the movement causing the infant to also begin to giggle.

An excited figure bounced into the room, grinning from ear to ear as he approached Jimmy’s hip, Hermes coming to a pause only to look directly up at Jimmy, “Mr. Sheriff! Daddy said I had to be quiet, but that I had a new baby brother!”

“You do, Hermes. Do you want to meet him?”

Hermes’ eyes lit up in excitement, “Can I?”

“Of course,” Jimmy confirmed, smiling at the child before casting a glance at Joel who was leaning against the door now, smiling as he watched the three interact. Jimmy kneeled down so that he was closer to Hermes’ height, tilting the infant in his arms so the boy could see him, “This is your brother Tom.”

“Mr. Sheriff, I love him. He’s so little though! Do you have to hold him all the time?”

“For now, we do. Why don’t you sit down, that way you can hold him safely too.”

“I can? How do you hold a baby?”

“I’ll teach you, Hermes, don’t worry.”

Hermes hesitated, “What if I drop him?”

“We can hold him together if you’re worried,” Jimmy offered. “You can sit on my lap and we’ll both hold him.”

“That! Please,” Hermes nodded, sliding onto Jimmy’s lap with wide eyes that were mirrored in the face he was staring at. Both children seemed entirely mesmerized by the other.

Tom reached out, his tiny fingers finding Hermes’ and wrapping around them.

Hermes gasped, having fallen in love with their younger brother all over again, “I’m your big brother, Hermes. I’m going to protect you forever, Tom. I promise.”

so i watched jimmy’s finale and uh. i’m thinking. so. since the old sheriff started treating sheriff jimmy like a kid/teenager i’m like. what if sheriff jimmy was legit a child. so when the revealing potion revealed that he’s short it’s not that he’s a toy it’s that he’s a literal child. idk but now i’m thinking that if sheriff jimmy was like idk 10 years old and ooh hoo hoo hoo i’m crying now. how much has he done?? how much responsibility has he taken, that little guy built an empire and made deals and took a stand against all these powerful adults who made fun of him and beat him down sometimes and rejected him and refused to believe that he was strong, that he was capable, that he was a good sheriff. and he still did his best. and. oh my god. they gave him a kid- he had to take care of his new charge- and he himself was just a kid. i’m going to cry.

i think western au villaneve live just outside of a town on their own farm and they're a mystery to the townspeople, eve and villanelle are talked about like they're folklore even though they're very real and ride into town like once a month to buy stuff. no one truly knows what the two of them got up to before they settled down on their farm, the stories range from them just being vagabonds who chose to settle down, to robbers, to killers.

when they ride into town everyone backs away out of fear but they're equally curious about them. they're always pleasant with the shopkeepers and smile at the children who want to pet their big horses, but the townspeople claim they see blood on their skin and their clothes. no one knows if they're just mysterious but harmless lesbians or if they're mysterious and harmful lesbians :)

The longer the gang stay in the post nibiru-timeline, the more cracks and flaws they begin to notice, example: Cassidy and Ricky don’t remember how they got married, Bronson and Janet don’t remember them actually raising the kids up until a certain point, etc…

It’s almost like everyone has a general sense of who they are, they just don’t know remember the details.
