An important part of va'Sun (counter-traditional klingon fashion culture) is rejection of traditional klingon ideals. For many, this means refusing to fight at all.

SuvQo' va'Sun often incorporates venerated weaponry and armour as accessories, purposefully showing disrespect to the long-standing traditions they represent, while also expressing themselves proudly through fashion as art
