About Two Stars...

I like to compile my feelings about events into one post, but this time I've been sitting for an hour and staring at the keyboard with an empty brain. This is probably the best proof of how strong this event was. Dense plot. Lots of emotions. Tons of worldbuilding and news. Oh lord.

The fact that Luci fell from the sky himself is extraordinary. He ripped off his own wings. I LOVE IT. He is as delulu as angels are, but in a different way, because he sees pain and is able to face it.

But I think what impressed me the most was his relationship with the Seraphs. I thought they would act like brats and hate each others, and guess what, they do behave like a spoiled little brats, but in love with their older brother. So. Sweet. I'm so freaking biased about Michael and I cried like an idiot. They loved Luci. Luci loved them. In fact, the whole scene at the end, maybe it's my imagination, but Luci sounded like he wanted Michael to stay there with him instead of living an illusion in heaven. He could gouge out his eye as punishment, but he couldn't hurt him when he ordered other angels to die. In fact, he explained to him as if he were a younger brother… Aghhh! My heart! There is so much love and suffering between them. Of course, Michael, I'd gouge out your other eye for dragons, but ughhh

And we learned a very important thing that Michael is a little masochist.

At first questioned you motives behind it, were you trying to use this as black mail after?, Maybe embarrass him?

It’s just the natural detective in him coming out, but if he finds out it’s purely for fun he’d mello out! (See what I did there? ( =ω= ) )

Bribing him with sweet treats is a must!, brownies, pudding, or cake would do the trick! I feel like his personal favorite is strawberry short cake though so do with that as you will!

Honestly…at first he’d be against it, but just to please you and get back to his work he’ll plop them on and stare at you with his beady eyes for a second

He actually doesn’t mind it, the minute your smile starts beaming at him like sun rays he genuinely forgets about it even being on him, as he just takes in your features and naturally as he does, study it aswell very single small detail.

Sometimes puts it on himself to surprise you just to see your smile, only when alone and in private though which lets be honest with ourselves is most of the time.

As stand off-ish as he is, I feel like depending on how long you two have been together, he would enjoy physically affection, but a bit watered down. As he himself hasn’t had much love in his life let alone romantic affection so at some points in time it’s a bit overwhelming for him.

But trust me when I say this man LOVES when you softly rub your fingers through his scalp like an actual cat. A bit embarrassing on his end? Yea, but I mean… anything for you affection he supposed

He likes running his fingers along the fake cat ear material. The soft fur is very nice quality!, and maybe if they added a bell to the end of the ears he’ll probably fiddle with them while thinking.

He of course takes them off after awhile, much to your dismay, but he does keep them! As a Memory sake and also just to play around with it.

He does get flustered! Hard to tell sometimes but you can always see the small tint of pink on his cheek and the subtle way his body tenses up before becoming jelly in your grasp.

He definitely gets you a matching pair!, he’ll get yours either the color of your hair or alternatively your favorite color!, maybe some accessories to go with it too!

Maybe to go with the ears some oversized hoodies that color match it. Or some sweat pants lord knows this man is obsessed with sweat pants.

He does admittedly like seeing you in matching ears, he can’t put his finger on it but something About just makes his heart thump.

He naps like a cat (on the rare occasions he actually sleeps…if you can even call it that (¬_¬)) he does that thing if you two are sleeping in the same bed, where he just kinda puts his full weight on you and decides to just die for a few hours on you 😭

Put your hands on both sides of his face and pepper his faces with kisses, he might as-well be your own cat cause he’ll protest then question when you go to king without giving him any.

Likes your smell, you can feel the faint sniffing he does when he gently lays his head on your collar bone and has his joes against your neck.

Misa and light once walked in on it and immediately turned around, at least light, Misa tried speaking but light dragged her out. It was awkward for a while after…(ﾒ﹏ﾒ)

He does that thing cat do when you try touching them, like batting your hand away, yea, he does that but when you try taking the ears back 😭

Overall, he loves them… his static face makes it hard to tell but when you match and see the faint smile on his face you know his true feelings!, he loves you and your unique way of showing it (⊃｡•́‿•̀｡)⊃

And OH the framing of Lava Lamp against Sakura in the background, frozen in the EXACT moment of his greatest doubt, framed by two falling pillars of water.

AND THE SQUINTING GLARE FROM SYAORAN TO HAMMER HOME THE MOMENT.

Oh fascinating! Syaoran turns away from the fight and Lava Lamp pursues, ready to finish the fight between them. Syaoran vs Syaoran etc etc the big showdown to tie it all together for the third and final time.

BUT FAI AND KUROGANE FACE DOWN EVIL WOLVERINE WITH INSULTS, READY TO FIGHT THE PRICK AT THE CENTRE OF THE UNIVERSE

And we know Evil Wolverine won’t play fair but OH I love the symmetry of it all. That Lava Lamp’s big arc has been seeing himself as the cause for all the problems in the world, and so he has to fight Himself as the final conflict. So Fai and Kurogane get the confrontation with Evil Wolverine here, as they’re in a Much More Direct View of How He Has Hurt Them Specifically and want to make things even. C:

As they deserve!

AND JUST THE. The sheer joy? That Evil Wolverine set them up as enemies, set Fai up specifcally to KILL Kurogane, and planning for him to die as well, and yet here they are? Facing him together? Alive and IN LOVE? Flirting to rub it all in?

Flirting as a sign of defiance?

To show that actually he's not that great, and his plans resulted in THIS? In these easy enemies choosing EACH OTHER and saving themselves from him?

That all his plans only proved how little he could understand them, or what they would do, or what they would CHOOSE? That he didn't accurately predict ANYONE well enough to have the plan work out how he wanted?

That his greatest plan of all time failed and ended up with them in love and standing here, at the centre of it all, and insulting him to his face?

And like Kurogane says, that HE'S the prey now? That Evil Wolverine always thinks he's in control but now they've turned the dynamic around on him instead?

That they're quite specifically here to kill him? TOGETHER?

I just can't get enough of it.

Just pointing this out since I haven't seen anybody else mention it:

Notice how Hobie's already collecting parts for his own watches before they even get to the lab?

Look at him in the gif above and you can clearly see him pickpocket something from a tray from a bypassing spider-person!

I love this detail so much!

And notice when they get to the lab and Jess is no longer with them he no longer hides the fact that he's taking stuff from the lab (he even makes sure Miles sees it, probably to signal to him that he doesn't respect the spider-society and neither should Miles).

This also shows that Hobie trusts Miles more than the other spider-people already! Since he doesn't have a problem with Miles seeing him take all this stuff from the lab, but he hides it when he's around the other spider-people as seen in the first gif!
