Sorry about my earlier post on this same subject, I was unaware that "link posts" were no longer allowed here. (this is from: https://twitter.com/ffe3301/status/1103246233886437376) Quick summary: WtP is associated with The Endurance International Group via DNS records. TEIG is being investigated (since at least 10/5/17) and it appears to be a sealed case (see images below). I ran a whois on the domain wethepizza.com and the only thing correct that was posted was the A record. HOWEVER, I was able to find historical DNS info from securitytrails.com (which provides historical DNS info for free): https://securitytrails.com/domain/wethepizza.com/dns - EVERYTHING stated in the OP is correct as you will see from that link, it's just not current. My guess is that they switched their name servers up when the investigation started. Also, for those of you who are technically inclined... the name servers seem to switch VERY often, which is really weird (according to securitytrails, the info posted above was accurate less than 24 hours ago): https://securitytrails.com/domain/wethepizza.com/history/ns - besides that, it appears that the nameresolve.com name servers ALSO belong to The Endurance International Group, which I was unaware of. Update 2: WOAH. Found something REALLY weird. I searched the current name server, ns1.yourhostingaccount.com, on securitytrails.com to see what other domains are associated with it. Go to this url: https://securitytrails.com/list/ns/ns1.yourhostingaccount.com and type 'pizza' in the filter search box. Almost every single domain name that comes up is associated with TEIG. I think my OP needs to be edited to reflect all of this info. Will do so now.
