The Hay-Adams, ubicado frente a Lafayette Square desde la Casa Blanca, ocupa un lugar especial en Washington, D.C. Este hotel clásico toma su nombre de los primeros residentes de su sitio: John Hay, asistente privado del presidente Abraham Lincoln y luego secretario de estado, y Henry Adams, aclamado autor y descendiente de los presidentes estadounidenses John Adams y John Quincy Adams.
