Nothing like a Ruger .22 Mark ( mine personal pistol) I cant begin to count he number of people, police recruits, and general folks just "scared of guns" how to shoot with this great little beginner pistol. It's super accurate, quite, very low recoil and pretty inexpensive to shoot. Every so often I break it out to hone my skills and get back to basics. The low recoil and $$ aspect means I can spend good basics warm up drills and not fatigue my grip for larger calibers that follow

Slow is fast

Fast is power

Consistently leads to accuracy

And as.my Dad used.to say: " I would rather be shot at and missed by a .50cal than shot at and hit by a .22
