I will never in my life understand people who only watch Western TV shows.
Like even if it's just watching anime! Or whatever... please venture outside of your Anglo-European bubble.
#if you are wondering why i go as broad as western is because#i've never met anyone who only watches shows from their own country#like americans love british shows and will be happy to watch a canadian show if it actually breaks out (like schitt's creek+yellowjackets)#but there are just so many that don't beyond--- as i said--- anglo-european#which is why squid game actually was such a big deal??#because it wasn't just a hit#everyone watched that fucking show#(i do think that on the whole people in anglo countries are just fairly unlikely to watch shows not in english unfortunately---#--but the reason I went broader is because so many people from non-anglo western countries also only watch shows in their language+english

I see some people have decided not to outgrow their "eat your vegetables" phase of discussing the relative lack of people going stupid in fandom about female characters.
*person compiling a representative excerpt of people being silly about their male faves in the tags, which include wishing physical violence on them, hopes bad stuff happen to them, and calling them eternally pathetic and crybabies*: the fact that fandom doesn't talk about female characters that way shows that people don't care about female characters, and not that it would strike most people as grossly misogynistic instead of a cool Gender game about exteriorization
#op of that post should drop fannishness about western TV shows and movies with male leads#and start being fannish about FE3H or Utena or The Locked Tomb or Yellowjackets or something#but maybe that's just my opinion#when you agree with the gist of a post but the exhortation that other ppl are doing fandom wrong and the example you picked are terrible 😔

#𝙵𝙸𝚂𝚃𝚂𝟺𝙾𝙽𝙲𝙴 : a fandom - less portrayal of archie andrews, inspired by ethel cain's preacher's daughter and removed from canon. often dc based, but very crossover friendly ! extremely personal + original take on the character, re - written as fandom - less and very headcanon heavy. sb to enslaughts.
a study in broken promises and fallen pedestals, bruised knuckles punching in the wind, hero complexes, lost childhood and butterfly nets, grief as anger, healing, what it means to have a body, and to not. 𝟶𝟼/𝟸𝟸/𝟸𝟹. re - imagined by jean, 23, they/any.
notes. prompts.
dash rules.
you do not need to be following my main to follow and interact with me over here. however, i do require that i be following you from there before interaction.
000. . . disclaimer.
the rpc's distancing from riverdale is very much understood, however, my portrayal of archie is incredibly personalized and wholly adapted to a personal trajectory of mine over the last half a decade. inspiration is taken from the cw show for his backstory, but my default verse for archie is only vaguely season five - like, but that's about it as far as similarities go. this character is a comfort muse unfortunately and incredibly comfortable for me to write simply because of how long i've been doing it. if you hate riverdale, i promise i've heard it all before and am not here to hash it out, but to write what's practically become an original character for me. if you don't wanna be here, simply scroll or block, beloved.
001. . . activity.
i'll be frank : i write pretty sporadically, and this goes for ic and ooc interactions. i can get overwhelmed juggling responsibilities often, and socializing is one of the first things to go. i un / fortunately work 40 hour work weeks, and only get every other weekend off, so my schedule makes consistent activity difficult on top of my focus. if i can successfully plot something with you, i find my muse is sooo much more involved, but i'm contradictorily bad at it due to the reasons above ; it's truly hit or miss, and i understand if that becomes frustrating for any of my partners. sometimes i’ll be able to get out a couple drafts a week, others merely once, or not at all. if i haven’t replied or answered something in a while, please know it’s nothing personal, i’m just taking my time until i feel good about what i can put down. writing is a hobby i enjoy, but if you're looking for a blog with any sort of regularity, this isn't the one for you. i have other rp blogs i try to run as well, therefore i might be very slow on this one at times. i can be quite the flaky rp partner, so i apologize in advance for that and completely understand if my antics [ or lack thereof ] result in an unfollow. if i go longer than two months without activity, i'll try to make a hiatus notice.
002. . . following.
because of the previously stated, i’m also highly selective with who i rp with. i want to not to bite off more than i can chew, and for the sake of pacing myself, my activity will be reserved for mutuals only. if my thread count gets too high for my liking, it's not uncommon that i drop threads, but i will absolutely try and let you know if that happens. duplicates are always welcome <3 [ let me know if you need me to tag same - muse posts and i’ll be happy to ! ] i regularly go on softblocking sprees to keep my follower count semi - low, but do feel free to re - follow if you feel like the stars merely misaligned for our first bout of mutual following and i'd be very down to give it another shot. on that note, it'll take me a week+ to follow back sometimes, as i like to read through not only rules, but dossiers and verse pages, especially for ocs, so it can take a hot minute.
003. . . etiquette.
the basics ; don’t be an asshole, any transphobia, biphobia, homophobia, racism, whitewashing, pro - shipping, incest, etc, will be blocked on sight. no godmodding, please cut your threads, continue asks in new posts, etc, and no stealing of any personal concepts of mine. loose inspiration is fine, but if i see repeated similarities, i may or may not approach you about it. formatting - wise, here is an example of my prose style. i primarily use big ol’ text and static or no icons, beta editor + xkit rewritten, but feel free to format however you like and i’ll try to match you somewhat. since my concussion, however, i will no longer be threading with super small text or anything heavily formatted, as this can strain my eyes and make headaches worse, even with my glasses.
004. . . shipping.
i’m all about exploring meaningful dynamics, whether they be platonic, familial, antagonistic, pre - established, etc, so feel free to shoot me a message if you’d like to plot something out between our muses ! while the mun of this blog is 18+, smut just really isn’t my thing ; referenced ‘ offscreen ’ as it were is fine, as are nfsfw headcanons and such, maybe fade to black / time skips, but for the most part, you won’t find any roleplayed smut on this blog. this of course is muse dependent and does not apply to any underage muses. romance is fine to some degree, but again, if they are a child, anything beyond lighthearted and innocent experiences are off limits, no exceptions. if i see you’ve aged up a minor character for shipping purposes, it will result in an instant unfollow. if at some point i flesh out adult verses for them, these shipping rules will not change. on that note as well, i do prefer to rp with muns who are also 18+. i don’t see your age somewhere in your rules or pinned, it will affect my willingness to follow.
005. . . memes.
memes from anyone, anytime, for the muse or for the mun, are always welcome, and often a go - to ice breaker of mine since starter calls make me nervous. please don’t hesitate to send a good handful since i try not to cage myself into answering ones i just don’t have muse for. i find if i force stuff, i’m just less likely to ever actually get it done, so don’t feel like you’re overwhelming me if you send more than just a couple for me to choose from. please remember to specify which muse your asks are for unless it’s to one of my sideblogs. if you want to start a thread from an ask, i greatly encourage it since i try to write most answers as potential starters anyway ! lastly, any memes in my tag aren't expired. if i don't want them sent in anymore, i'll delete them from the tag.
006. . . triggers.
this blog leans horror - adjacent in many ways, and this blog will be portraying that accordingly, including trigger - heavy content such as : depression, ptsd, panic attacks, body horror / issues, violence / injury, horror elements, parental death, smoking, religious imagery, as well as past statutory rape, but i will try to tag it as ‘ trigger // ’. on that note, please do keep in mind : any abuse present on my blog will be in headcanons or backstories, never actual threads. if i’m writing with villain muses, physical harm may be present, but i refuse to roleplay any domestic / animal / harm or abuse in any form. my personal triggers are visual eye gore, visual self harm, and visual vomit. please do feel free to say something if i forget to tag a post and i’ll try to tag it for you right away !
whew. all that said, i'm jean, 23, white, and i use they/any pronouns ! thank you for taking the time to read my rules, and rest assured if i follow you, that means i’ve read through yours as well <3 discord is available for mutuals upon request.

Explore Minimalist Luxury Fashion for Women Online -B'Infinite
In the dynamic realm of women's fashion, trends come and go, but there's one concept that continues to captivate fashion enthusiasts worldwide: minimalist luxury fashion. This refined approach to high-end clothing celebrates the essence of less-is-more, focusing on quality, timeless designs, and subtle elegance. In this blog, we delve into the world of high-end clothes, minimalist luxury fashion, designer wear, branded belts for women, and the charming resurgence of trendy hairbands. Join us as we explore how these trends are reshaping the way women embrace luxury and style.
High-End Clothes:
A Testament to Quality and Craftsmanship High-end clothes are more than just garments; they are an investment in craftsmanship, quality, and impeccable design. These pieces are carefully curated to stand the test of time, transcending seasonal fads and fleeting trends. Whether it's a meticulously tailored blazer, a luxuriously soft cashmere sweater, or a classic little black dress, high-end clothes speak to a discerning taste and an appreciation for the finer things in life. The allure lies in their attention to detail, superior materials, and the confidence they evoke in the wearer.
Minimalist Luxury Fashion:
Embracing Elegance in Simplicity Minimalism and luxury intertwine seamlessly in the world of fashion, giving rise to a trend that celebrates the beauty of simplicity. Minimalist luxury fashion embraces clean lines, monochromatic palettes, and understated silhouettes. The focus shifts from excessive embellishments to the inherent elegance of the design itself. A well-fitted white shirt, a pair of perfectly tailored trousers, or a sleek midi dress can speak volumes without being overly ostentatious. This trend is a nod to the belief that true luxury lies in the art of restraint.
Designer Wear:
Unveiling Artistry in Clothing Designer wear embodies the artistic expression of fashion designers who pour their creativity into every stitch, fold, and detail. These creations are a canvas on which designers paint their visions, pushing the boundaries of conventional style. From avant-garde dresses that challenge norms to exquisitely draped pieces that embody femininity, designer wear is a testament to the innovation and artistry within the fashion industry. Owning a piece of designer wear is akin to owning a wearable work of art.
Branded Belts for Women:
The Epitome of Elegance Accessories are the punctuation marks of fashion, and branded belts for women are no exception. A well-chosen belt can instantly elevate an outfit, adding a touch of sophistication and defining the waistline. Whether it's a classic leather belt with a signature buckle or a statement piece adorned with intricate detailing, branded belts for women offer a sense of exclusivity and elegance. They not only hold the outfit together but also serve as a testament to the wearer's attention to detail.
Trendy Hairbands:
Nostalgia Meets Contemporary Chic In a delightful resurgence, trendy hairbands have made their way back into the fashion spotlight. These accessories effortlessly blend nostalgia with modern sensibilities, offering a playful yet sophisticated way to elevate your hairstyle. From embellished headbands that add a touch of glamour to simple and sleek designs that exude minimalistic charm, trendy hairbands are a versatile addition to your accessory collection. The reason why women and queer people had to create their own space in the Berserk fandom, because of the cishet men in the Western fandom who gravitate to Berserk do not engage with the women and the queer themes inside the story itself (and are often the type of people who gravitate towards media which satirizes them, like Fight Club and American Psycho).
Some of these fans find it laughable that women and the LGBT community would find Berserk enjoyable in the first place, and blatantly say that Berserk is (should be) a (cis) Boys Club.
But these fans not only reject the Toxic Bisexual Love Triangle reading in Golden Age that is present in obvious queer media like Jennifer’s Body, As You Are and Yellowjackets, but they do not even engage with the women in Berserk as fully realized characters like Guts is. And it is out of the question for them to realize the reality that women and queer people could relate to Guts as a character and his journey.

This creature is a tricksy one. Over half of you thought it would sting, and this FLY thanks you for the compliments on its mimicry <3
This is a long-horned yellowjacket fly (Sphecomyia vittata), aptly named because it evolved to cosplay a yellowjacket (a type of predatory social wasp). These flies can’t bite or sting, but as very convincing mimics, they can safely visit flowers to feed without being disturbed. I, too, thought this was a wasp, until I was looking at photos later. There are several giveaways. You can see its halteres in the first picture. These are small club-shaped organs that replace the second pair of wings on flies and are used for stabilization during flight. The fly doesn't have a "waist" like a wasp, and its antennae have a small number of segments with an arista (filament) on the end. The head is also distinctly fly-shaped, and it doesn't have large mandibles. Here's an actual yellowjacket for comparison: (Western yellowjacket; Vespula pensylvanica)

Arthurian characters as insects I see on a semi-regular basis
Because if I don't do it, who will?
Part 1: The Orkney-Pendragons (and friends)
Arthur: Monarch butterfly, Danaus plexippus
To be completely honest, I didn't even realize the wordplay aspect here until now. The posterchild butterfly; even people unfamiliar with insects can probably name it. Impressive in terms of mileage (I suppose king arthur's been around for a while. chronologically) and also, under special circumstances, very resistant to death
Guinevere: Western velvety tree ant, Liometopum occidentale
To anyone who thinks guinevere would is a butterfly: you are wrong! ants upon be ye. No but seriously I've been working with this species all summer (images are mine, that's a winged male and a female worker above) and man they're neat! Dominant ant species in the woodland here; they support many other arthropod species via symbiotic relationships and are a major political ecological resource. They're also very pretty as ants go but really really aggressive and bitey. When stressed they release an alarm pheromone that smells very strongly of mint.
Morgan: Arizona mantis, Stagmomantis limbata
Cool. powerful. weird. into sex that humans find freaky. Can be used as a mercenary against flies. Never turns up when or where you expect it. I'm like 58% sure that manteoda consists entirely of fairies anyway and besides that morgan deserves it.
Morgause: Black soldier fly, Hermetia illucens
Very dapper, with an undeniably commanding presence. Looks mean (it has evolved to mimic a wasp) but is actually rather harmless, and has magic powers insanely cool mechanisms that allow it to process yucky polluted waste into useful things like fertilizer and animal feed. The larvae can also produce grease and chitin– economically relevant critters! They remain underrated and probably will stay as such until people recognize the importance of 'uncharismatic' animals (arthurian authors I am begging you write a version Morgause that isn't misogynist or girlbossified pLEASE).
Gawain: Western yellowjacket, Vespula pensylvanica
*points* bitch. No but seriously I can recognize the significance and beauty of these animals while still calling them out as annoying (this is gawaincore. to me). The only thing that stops them from becoming invasive in their OWN NATIVE RANGE is the occasional cold snap and lack of sun in the wintertime. In areas without that they are a serious problem. you want to drink a beverage or eat a burger in peace? No. your food is their food now and they won't hesitate to sting/bite in defense of this divine right. They thirst for carnage but are annoyingly pretty
Gringolet: Western paper wasp, Mischocyttarus flavitarsis
Matching with gawain <3. but seriously seeing one of these babies in person can be a little awe-inspiring if you aren't already expecting them. absolute BEASTS. generalist predators that can and will feed directly on living flesh. Their primary defense strategy is ramming into their opponent at full fucking speed. legends.
Agravaine: Red admiral, Vanessa atalanta
Underrated and pretty butterfly that uses nettles (prickly!) as a host plant. territorial but loses to bigger butterfly species all the time (I've seen it. trust me). Also a bit of a tease, they're notorious for letting people get close to them only to fly away as if personally affronted
Gaheris: Dusky raisin moth, Ephestiodes gilvescentella
not much to say here. It's gaheris. I find these in the pantry all the time, usually because they keep trying to lay eggs in our flour. They're a pain in the ass
Gareth: Western carpenter bee, Xylocopa californica
So very very cute and fuzzy. Not the kind of bee we get honey from, but it could pretend to be and we probably wouldn't mind. Absorbs heat well. Steals nectar from flowers without pollinating them sometimes, the little rascal. Also quite horny; they exhibit a variety of mating behaviors
Mordred: Painted lady, Vanessa cardui
knock off monarch butterfly. lol.
Lot: Torpedo bug, Siphanta acuta
not going to lie this insect is probably too cool looking get assigned to Lot
Kay: Stink beetle, Eleodes sp.
dignified. a bit of a trundler. gets the job done. Mostly harmless, but from a young age we're taught not to provoke them anyways because when threatened they release a truly awful stank
Ywain: Gulf fritillary, Dione vanillae
A gorgeous species that somehow gets overshadowed by the more showy butterflies. just a good-natured guy all round. I like ywain but I don't think he's too complicated :)
#arthuriana#tw bugs#arthurian legend#insects#bugblr#entomology#incredibly niche self-indulgent post. with a target audience of me. please enjoy#there WILL be more#i am probably doxxing myself with this. it's fine

WASP REVIEW - PARASITICA (TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES 2012)
[Image ID: A screenshot from the 'Parasitica' episode of TMNT 2012, of the parasitic wasp, which is the focus of the episode, mid-flight /End ID.]
Now, for a change of pace, let's have a look at something that isn't from a video game for the first time in this review series! It tends to be harder to find wasps in TV in particular that are notable enough to properly review, which makes it all the more fortunate that I got this suggestion, as this mutant species of wasp is the entire focus of the episode!
Now, I've never been a TMNT enjoyer, I just didn't get into the franchise as a kid and have yet to look into it on a wider scale, however, I did enjoy this enjoy this episode. That's not to say it's without its inaccuracies, though, so let's get into it, starting with the wasp's general appearance!
Looking at it them, they have the shape and eyes of wasps of the family Vespidae, fairly standard fare for wasps in media, likely based on some black and yellow species of paper wasps, or otherwise yellowjackets. The latter would makes sense, given what appears to be an abundance of setae around the mesosoma especially, reminiscent of a fair number of yellowjackets, although of course the glowing lines across the wings, meso- and metasoma, and eyes aren't accurate, but they aren't meant to be. I have to say, props to the modeling crew for making a fairly detailed model with an appropriate amount of wings and legs.
[Image Source: Wikimedia Commons | Image IDs: Two screenshots of the episode, showing one wasp standing and three wasps flying above the Ninja Turtles respectively, followed by a real photo of a common wasp, a type of Yellowjacket, also known as Vespula vulgaris /End IDs.]
They're also notably large, roughly the size of a medium breed of dog, having grown significantly from their mutation. Funnily enough, just before the first appearance of the original wasp, after being asked by Michaelangelo how big the arthropods in a set of photos are Donatello makes a statement I feel the need to comment on, that being "Well, a bee is about four millimeters, and a wasp would be six", which is an odd statement. For one, which species does he mean in particular, he gives an oddly specific measurement when the wall displays images of multiple different types of wasp, including fairyflies (or Mymarids), which can be as small as 0.127 millimeters (Dicopomorpha echmepterygis), and Vespids which can reach up to 45 millimeters (Vespa mandarinia). The western honey bee (Apis mellifera), the most likely candidate for the bee that Donatello is referring to given how common and well loved the species is, itself is 10 millimeters at minimum among the average worker.
[Image ID: Another screenshot, showing the wall in question, which has 4 different papers pinned to it with multiple different species of wasp /End IDs.]
But anyway, with that side-tangent out of the way, let's get into the behavior of the wasps, starting with the first things we see. When the initial wasp appears, we hear vocalizations from it, which isn't necessarily unheard of, although these noises aren't quite the same as the vocalizations of some other types of animals, such as mammals or birds, as these aren't produced through complex vocal cords and structures, but they are created by vibrations in the wasp's body by stridulatory organs or other muscular structures. These are called stridulations, you may have heard of them in cicadas and Orthopterans, but they can also be observed in mud collecting and digging wasps such as potter wasps and Sphecids, as well as velvet ants, and sounds like a charming little squeak! The vocalizations in the wasps in this episode sound like processed sounds produced by birds like corvids or vultures, reminiscent of sounds associated with prehistoric dinosaurs in movies.
After this, we see the wasp start hunting the turtles. One could make the argument that the wasp is simy protecting its egg rather than hunting, but the events of this episode make it very clear that the wasp is hunting the turtles. While there are many social wasps that may forage for carrion or pieces of your barbeque dinner in order to feed their larvae, the specific targeting of a vertebrate species is highly unusual for a parasitic wasp, as they tend to only target other arthropods like their fellow insects or spiders. But it's likely that this particular behavior was onset by its implied genetic modification by Kraang, known enemy of the Ninja Turtles.
After a short chase around the room, the wasp stings Leonardo in the arm and promptly falls to the ground, dying immediately. This is most reminiscent of the worker honey bees, which have a barbed stinger that cannot be removed from a thick-skinned animal such as a mammal, thus taking parts of the abdomen and internal organs with it (including the still-pumping venom gland), killing the bee within minutes. It's a bit longer than the near instantaneous death we see in this wasp, but it is rather quick! The wasp in this episode appears to have a similarly barbed stinger, although it has only one barb, rather than the row of barbs honey bees have, being shaped almost like a fish hook. Other wasps, including parasitic wasps, have smooth stingers, and thus, can sting multiple times. Notably, worker honey bees are infertile females, as opposed to the stinging parasitic wasps, which are, of course, fertile, the stinger being a modified ovipositor in all wasps that have them (including bees and ants), only being found in females.
[Image Source: PBS, Rose-Lynn Fisher | Image IDs: A screenshot of Donatello holding the stinger of the mutated wasp, and an extremely close up, colorless photo of a worker honey bee stinger /End IDs.]
We know that this wasp is a female due to its possession of a stinger, as well as being fertile due to the egg we see just a moment later. The sting does not kill, nor paralyze Leonardo, despite the size of the wasp, instead having a different, immediate effect in that Leonardo becomes extremely protective of the egg. Over the course of the episode we see that Leonardo appears, in a way, brainwashed to protect the egg, the eventual intention being that the egg would hatch safely and he would be consumed by the young wasp inside.
Shockingly, this does have parallels in the real world, first, and in possibly the more well known example, a form of direct brain change is induced by the emerald cockroach wasp (Ampulex compressa). It first delivers a sting to a thoracic ganglion of a cockroach, causing temporary paralysis in the forelegs, allowing the wasp to deliver a second sting to the head ganglia, inducing a zombie-like state, inhibiting its escape response and allowing the wasp to lead the roach by its antennae back to the wasp's burrow, where it lays an egg upon the roach, allowing its larvae to feed.
[Image Source: iNaturalist, ravinaidu | Image ID: A photo of an emerald cockroach wasp leading a 'zombified' cockroach back to its burrow across dirt and rocks /End IDs.]
However, there's another genus of wasps that I believe is the one they took inspiration from here, that being Glyptapanteles, a genus of Braconid wasps that deposit their eggs directly into Lepidopteran hosts, specifically caterpillars. The eggs hatch, and the larvae of the wasps feed on the caterpillar's bodily fluids from the inside, specifically avoiding the vital organs as the caterpillar appears to continue to behave and grow normally despite the parasite inside them. Then, they emerge and pupate, spinning a silk cocoon for themselves, at which point the caterpillar stops moving much or feeding. It only moves then to add its own silk to the pile of pupal cocoons, and, should it be disturbed, thrash around in order to protect the pupae, serving as a bodyguard until it eventually starves to death.
[Image Sources: Wikimedia Commons, José Lino-Neto, and ResearchGate | Image IDs: A photo of a brown Geometrid moth caterpillar looking over Glyptapanteles wasp papae, followed by an image containing several photos of a brown and black Glyptapanteles wasp adult /End IDs.]
There are a few differences, however, evident in the fact that the egg has already been oviposited externally a considerable amount of time before even having a host. This is, of course, understandable given the fact that, if they were to make it more accurate, then this episode would look less like a PG iteration of zombie media and more like an Alien film.
Speaking of the zombie media comparisons, while the change in behavior is down to a direct sting to the brain in the case of emerald cockroach wasps or a chemical concoction in the case of Glyptapanteles wasps, it's described in the episode as being a virus. This virus takes hold and darkens Leonardo's eyes, his mouth producing a viscous fluid, which is eventually spread to all of the other turtles via bite, until Michaelangelo creates an antidote by Donatello's instructions. Obviously, this part is not true of real parasitic wasps.
While Donatello and Michaelangelo are researching the wasp, looking at an article describing its non-mutated equivalent, several photos are shown, and it's here we start to see a couple more inconsistencies and inaccuracies. For one, Donatello refers to a single species as "The Parasitic Wasp", but in reality, there are estimated to be hundreds of thousands of different parasitic wasps, none specifically referred to as being the parasitic wasp. Secondly, at the start of the article, we see an adult of the species, which appears to resemble some form of black and yellow ichneumon wasp, much different from what we've seen thus far.

After this, we see images of the species emerging from the egg, coming out as a full-fledged, winged adult, more like the wasps we've seen thus far, oddly skipping the larval and pupal stage entirely. This is especially odd considering the fact that adult wasps cannot eat meat, only the larvae, and, as mentioned, the wasps feed on their host after hatc

This is later confirmed to be the case in the mutated wasps, which not only emerge from their eggs as adults, but also emerge in a group of three. It is seemingly not unheard if that one single insect egg could produce multiple offspring, but it is exceedingly rare and hard to find information on. In any case, wasp eggs, more often than not, only hatch singular individuals.

As a final note on these wasps, as they go straight for the Ninja Turtles before promptly being taken out by Michaelangelo (with a cannon no less), it seems as though these wasps are all females. It can be inferred from this that this egg was fertilized, as opposed to the males that would come from unfertilized eggs, implying that there was either already more than one of these flying around, or that the female had already mated before becoming mutated, potentially by Mutagen.
All in all, there are many inaccuracies throughout this episode, though I do have to give points for the interesting choice of inspiration! In terms of rating, the episode itself was entertaining and interesting, but it doesn't have much in the way of accuracy to any one specific wasp species.
