I see some people have decided not to outgrow their "eat your vegetables" phase of discussing the relative lack of people going stupid in fandom about female characters.

*person compiling a representative excerpt of people being silly about their male faves in the tags, which include wishing physical violence on them, hopes bad stuff happen to them, and calling them eternally pathetic and crybabies*: the fact that fandom doesn't talk about female characters that way shows that people don't care about female characters, and not that it would strike most people as grossly misogynistic instead of a cool Gender game about exteriorization
