She’s done nothing but speak her truth. I know how hard that is as an unfamous person. I can’t imagine having that much transparency in the spotlight. People sometimes forget that before fame, actors and actresses were “regular ol’ people”. She’s shown me that it may not be easy, but you have the ability to overcome the shit you’ve endured in life. In the few days that I’ve been reading her book, and the lifetime it feels like I’ve been following her, she’s taught me to love the skin I’m in. I’m not for everyone and hey, that shit is ok. Lastly, before I wash my doggies and my nasty road trip hair...I highly advise reading (or in my case listening) to this book. It really turned the tail end of my trip around and made the last 5 hrs (and then some because I need that kind of overlap) from sad to enjoyable, informative, uplifting, and then super informative and uplifting, but in this this sad but necessary way that allows you to appreciate the latter. Thank you for sharing @gabunion . It was exactly what I needed when I REALLY wasn’t sure what I needed. Five minutes into my ride to work with @gabunion 's 📕 "We're Going to Need More Wine" I felt like I was riding with my best friend to a bar 🍸! This edition is read by the author, with an honesty artistry that would have been only have as compiling had I read it myself! I'd put this book on my list to read but when I saw the audio book on the shelf @kershawcountylibrary it called out to me as a solution to the monotony of my morning commute! To be continued...🤗 . .
