Trompe l'Oeil with a Bust of Venus

Description

This is a trompe-l’oeil, or trick of the eye. It is supposed to look as if a marble bust of Venus has been placed above the door. In order to mislead the viewer, some ‘real’ details have been added: a pink shawl and wreaths of periwinkle.

This Venus formed a pair with a bust of Adonis (now in Cape Town). They are the only two still-lifes by the history painter Van Everdingen, and they probably hung in his home.

What do you think of an AU when the reader is from the Marvel universe? Specifically a Stark!Reader who got transported to Gotham because of Infinity Stone shenanigans. Imagine them being basically Iron Man just flying through Gotham just fighting crime, Jason becomes highly suspicious of them and tracks them down only to find Stark!Reader beneath the mask who is filled with sarcasm and wit. She is Tony's daughter after all. Eventually Jason develops a little bit of an uprecedented crush on them.

I like to think that just like Tony, Stark!Reader also likes to mock villians and occassionally a BatFam member because of their whole themes, or if she's not feeling mean, she would just give them ugly nicknames. She took one look at Scarecrow and immediately said "Doth mother know you wereath her drapes?"

Probably discovered the BatFam's identities through her own equivalent of F.R.I.D.A.Y. The BatFam may hide their secrets very well, but she's not a genius for nothing. Probably would not care with their identities, she grew up with a lot masked heroes back in her world after all.

Despite all her snarky comments and wit, she did however grew close to Jason and the BatFam as a whole. Jason was already planning on making it official with her soon enough.

Imagine the angst when a portal opens up and Doctor Strange walks in, asking Stark!Reader to come back to their universe.

I think my brain just blue screened for a second. 🤣

I'm sure someone could write that and do it justice but I don't know if I could... DC and Marvel exist as 2 separate entities in my brain and they don't play well together.

What the Weather Wolfman Doing?

So, this happened in Episode 5 of Into the Eye of the Storm called "It's a Dead man's party, Weather Report!", where once arrived at the fifth dream, our cloudy boi has woken up only to find that he is a new place; a Halloween town full of people in costumes and actual Halloween monsters! But not just that, but he is also an actual werewolf.

The Main Objective of Episode 5 is to become Halloween Town’s Festival Winner and save Halloween Town from Three Monster Hunters in order to get to the next dream! As Wereather Report, he still has his stand and yet, he has werewolf abilities, especially the ability to scare anyone. Apparently, the way the town works is to scare people and/or monsters, and they get candy in return, turns out that candies can be used as currency in a Halloween town marketplace that can be useful for achieving quests. Sure, scaring might be easy, but it will be hard for people that are blind and/or difficult to scare with a phobia.
