I'm ready to be 100% wrong on this, but the more I look at Bellara's face tats the more I think they're not just regular, run-of-the-mill vallaslin. Spoilers below the cut:

My prevailing theory is that it's a tattoo she designed or modified herself. Based on what we have so far, Rook ventures into Arlathan Forest, meets up with some Veil Jumpers looking for Bellara, and gets trapped in a "Veil Bubble" along with Bellara and the other jumpers. Bellara finds and activates an ancient elvhen artifact (the Nadas Dirthalen), and uses it to escape the bubble. In doing so, the artifact is destroyed, and Bellara resolves to try and repair it to access the lost knowledge within. This - along with some other info we have for her like her weapon and some of her voice lines - tells us a few things:

She's extremely competent and knowledgeable about ancient elvhen technology, able to use it to make and/or wield her weapon, and to escape from an emergent situation.

She's confident in her abilities - at least confident enough to go off alone in the forest

She is invested in obtaining knowledge about the ancient elvhen

She is not beholden to the ways of the Dalish: She wears shoes, she re-designed/modified her gauntlet to make it into a weapon rather than preserving it as it was, and she works with an organization that accepts members who aren't even elves, let alone Dalish.

Even though she isn't a traditionalist, she still has elements of her design that callback to the elves and the Dalish, such as her halla hair pin.

So what I'm saying is I think Bellara is a character that values and respects the past (unlike Morrigan), but isn't naive (unlike Merrill), and doesn't believe in its primacy (unlike Solas). I suspect that at some point she learned about the true history of the vallaslin and decided to modify them rather than remove or forgo them entirely. There are other possibilities, like it being an amalgamation of Falon'Din and Dirthamen's vallaslin (since they're twin souls, and I think I see elements of both). Or it could belong to one of the "Forgotten Ones." But I really don't think it's a regular, run-of-the-mill vallaslin. Especially not when we've seen that Strife and Ireline have vallaslin we've seen before, and when Davrin's vallaslin seem new but largely unremarkable (that comment may bite me later).

I'm not even getting into the style of it and how markedly different it is from most of what we've seen before. Just take a look at this post and tell me it's not weird.

Sera Impression about Tali —

Found this weirdie one day, no wait she found me. Her name's Taliesen, too serious of a name for her. Ought to find something that fits better. She's not too elfy for an elfy elf, a bit dwarfy too. Never seen one like that, always having her head in a hammer, instead of old books. Weird. 

Buckles. Serious, somber, strapped for battle. But the armor comes off, and she's all soft underneath. Blech, never let her see this. She'll never let this go. But it fits, yea?

Always big serious when she's working, but when she isn't. She's a bit cuddly, making a big laugh when we're together, it just works. We laugh like we could shake the whole tavern, run until we're out of trouble, and make fun until we laugh again. It's great. 

Kisses. Kisses. Kisses. Does anyone hear us when we do it in the room? Nah, no way we're as loud as her and Bull. She's perfect, maybe too perfect, what ifNO DON'T THINK ABOUT IT

Bombs to fireworks.

Making something great in that little room of hers, not mine. I sometimes watch, can't help much when all I can is mix things. Fun though still, her and Dagna do this little dance when something starts working. Fun to watch too when things don't work, sometimes she flies across the room. Caught her a few times, we have a big laugh every time. Hope upstairs isn't too mad about those times. 

But other times, when things don't turn to bombs, they turn into fireworks. It's always pretty.

Why does she sniff everything she builds? It's still weird.

Tali's Impression about Sera —

We never have any words for one another, just laughs and moments of fun. The excitement we felt as the wind rushed passed us on top of Gold Trimmed Buildings. The tingly feeling I get, when she pushes me against the wall. Us baking cookies together late nights, in the kitchen. The times when we're doing little experiments together. 

So many fun moments together. We linger on those, because words hurt us more. So much I want to say, and so much that she will say. We would end up hurting one another. Focusing on the fun we have now, is just easier.

She caught me one day as I flew across the Undercroft. That was a fun moment. We were laughing the whole time, as we cleaned up that mess with Dagna. The explosion was caused when our adhesives bonded to the fire essences. I don't know why, we never place them in separate cabinets, we always have problems involving those two. Josie complains every time, an explosion happens. But the three of us always laugh it off.

Sera made a rude comment about the Dalish once, well more than once. We argued about it. She wasn't completely wrong about the Dalish, but wasn’t right either. But our words still hurt each other. And then, we forget that it ever happened.

The next day we visited Val Royeaux, a restaurant owner confused us for servants, we placed ice traps on all their chairs. Then we flew away on top of roofs, and kissed again.

So many times, I should be mad, but I’m always ready to forgive. Because our highest highs are better than our lowest lows. So happy to have someone who made me feel alive again after so long, nothing else seems to matter. 

Thank you so much @wepepe-draws for bringing my idiot scientist, and girlfriend to life. I love them. :’)

“It’s just delirium, I promise,” Anders said soothingly to Hawke. “Come on, let’s get some antidote into him. Once the poison symptoms settle, I’ll be able to close up that wound. Or you could close it, actually,” he added. “It’s a superficial wound, nothing you can’t handle.”

Hawke gave him a weak smile. “Now who’s flattering whom?”

“Vishante kaffas,” Fenris muttered.
