There is a special pain in being German in a fandom full of non-Germans.

Because I have been thinking about an oddly specific German movie and it would make such a good plot for a Band AU WetBirds fic HOWEVER probably nobody/nearly nobody knows the 2013 masterpiece that is Wenn Inge Tanzt.

Ich bin immer noch der Meinung das "Wenn Inge tanzt" ein unbeabsichtigtes Liebeslied vom männlichen Hauptdarsteller in Systemfehler - wenn Inge tanzt ist. Zum einen diese Fixierung auf Inge und zum anderen ist keines der genannten Attribute wirklich schlecht. "Uncool" in der damaligen Zeit, aber nicht schlecht.

Außerdem: "Wenn Inge tanzt dann gibt sie Vollgas, Herz über Verstand."

Und dann ein paar Zeilen weiter: "Komm Inge tanz, tanz, tanz, tanz, tanz, komm tanz für mich."

Er will dass sie für ihn tanzt, etwas das, wie er selbst singt, von Herzen kommt und ihren Verstand ausschaltet. Ist dass nicht immer die Definition von Liebe? Verstand verabschiedet sich, während das Herz entscheidet.

"Inge fällt nicht auf, sie tut nicht mehr als nötig." Mein Lieber, sie ist dir aber aufgefallen. So sehr, dass du 'nen ganzen Song über sie schreibst.
