Your fake ass aesthetic of being a good person because you’re a liberal lesbian or whatever is pretty lame too
I'm a communist, not a liberal.
Do you mean my ethics ?
My aesthetics are things like, 4lung and Diabarha, guro robot puppy girls, uh. Irish reels, Impressionist painting, Remedios Varo, Leonora Carrington, Jorges Luis Borges, Italo Calvino, Tarkovsky.
I can appreciate nature but I don't like the framing or frame of this appreciation being "pastoral/rural/agricultural community life" rather than say, botany, or paleontology, or anthropology.
Anyway I see the poverty of Western philosophy every goddamn year in front of my eyes and I know that there are many people being allowed to do very lazy and evil things to the land.
Go read Masanobu Fukuoka and Toby Hemenway
Or check out a YouTube channel by the name of Crime Pays But Botany Doesn't. Dozens if not hundreds of hours of footage of him rambling around talking about botany and usually making some commentary on the political character of what he sees before him. He had much to say about the border wall killing Saguaros and peyotes, and he even personally saved a few of those peyotes with his own hands and truck, and the footage of that is on his channel.
The peoples who knew and know those Saguaros as relatives still exist on other side of this fake and disgusting border and don't deserve this colonial label of immigrant for going back and forth across the border on their own ancestral lands. (Whether anyone else deserves that label is a different question.... "No borders no nations no mass incarceration" is a fun protest chant I've heard many times...)

Part 5: This is a collection of short stories, 50 penguin's modern classics.
41. THE PROBLEM THAT HAS NO NAME by BETTY FRIEDAN. The pioneering Betty Friedan gave voice to countless American housewives - who, despite being sold a dream of the perfect home and family, silently wondered 'Is this all?' - and set the women's movement in motion.
42. THE DIALOGUE OF TWO SNAILS by FEDERICO GARCÍA LORCA. A dazzling selection of the beautiful, brutal and darkly brilliant work of Spain's greatest twentieth-century poet, from his beloved Gypsy Ballads to pieces appearing in English for the first time.
43. OF DOGS AND WALLS by YUKO TSUSHIMA. Two luminous, tender stories from one of Japan's greatest twentieth-century writers, showing how childhood memories, dreams and fleeting encounters shape our lives.
44. MADAME DU DEFFAND AND THE IDIOTS by JAVIER MARÍAS. Five sparkling, irreverent brief portraits of famous literary figures (including libertines, eccentrics and rogues) from Spain's greatest living writer.
45. THE HAUNTED BOY by CARSON MCCULLERS. These moving stories by one of the great masters of Southern gothic portray love, sorrow and our search for happiness and understanding.
46. THE GARDEN OF FORKING PATHS by JORGE LUIS BORGES. Fantastical tales of mazes, puzzles, lost labyrinths and bookish mysteries, from the unique imagination of a literary magician.
47. FAME by ANDY WARHOL. The legendary pop artist Andy Warhol's hilarious, gossipy vignettes and aphorisms on the topics of love, fame and beauty.
48. THE SURVIVOR by PRIMO LEVI. From the writer who bore witness to the twentieth century's darkest days, these verses of beauty and horror include the poem that inspired the title of his memoir, If This Is a Man.
49. LANCE by VLADIMIR NABOKOV. These three dazzling stories of obsession, mania and an extra-terrestrial nightmare feature all the wit, dexterity and inventiveness that are the hallmarks of Nabokov's genius.
50. WHY I AM NOT GOING TO BUY A COMPUTER by WENDELL BERRY. The great American poet, novelist and farmer argues for a life lived slowly, and the value of home.

I HAVE THIS GREAT NEW IDEA FOR A CARTOON SHOW!
I have this great new idea for a cartoon show! It's called Cereal Town! It's about a town where cereal mascots live and do CRAAAAAAAAAAZY stuff! They say out of character things! The main joke is that these iconic characters are acting like deranged out of character lunatics! But it's a total love letter to cereal mascots, trust me, it totally is!
The show will be animated in Adobe Flash, and all the characters have been redesigned. Here's some concept art I whipped up!
EVERYONE's gonna be there! Even the really obscure ones, 'cause this is a love letter to cereal mascots! Here's all the characters that'll show up:
Tony the Tiger (voiced by Paul F. Thompkins) - He's a million times dumber now! Your typical sitcom dimwitted dad, like Homer Simpson or Peter Griffin!
Mrs. Tony (voiced by some random YouTube/TikTok celebrity) - Tony's wife who's a total nag and considered way out of his league (not that you can tell with the art style)!
Tony Jr. and Antoinette (voiced by Ben Schwartz and Jenny Slate) - Tony's kids! They're basically Dipper and Mabel from Gravity Falls but they're tigers!
Trix the Rabbit (voiced by Johnny Galecki) - He's addicted to Trix! Get it? Trix = drugs! And drug addiction is HILARIOUS, right?!
Sonny the Cuckoo Bird (voiced by Will Forte) - Since we gave the "addicted to their cereal" shtick to Trix the Rabbit, he's now a neuronic Woody Allen parody who collects decorative plates!
Lucky the Leprechaun (voiced by Flula Borg) - He's not really a leprechaun now! He's just a weirdo who THINKS he's a leprechaun! He's not even Irish anymore, he's German!
Toucan Sam (voiced by Jillian Bell) - He's a girl now, because otherwise there won't be enough female characters in the show! And she's also a stereotypical valley girl obsessed with her hair and clothes and self-conscious about her big nose!
Count Chocula (voiced by Fred Armisen) - He's now a stereotypical scatterbrained geezer who complains about those dang kids and their newly-fangled contraptions or whatever!
Frankenberry (voiced by Thomas Lennon) - He's a loser who lives in his creator's basement and goes on the internet a lot! He's also obsessed with science fiction movies!
Boo Berry (voiced by Mindy Kaling) - He's a girl now, too! She's Sonny's girlfriend (or rather, GHOULfriend, aren't I so clever?) who is really smart until she suddenly isn't because the joke demands for her to not be smart!
Dig 'Em the Frog (voiced by another random YouTube/TikTok celebrity) - He's a musician! He was once part of a band, but decided to go solo! And he's obsessed with pumpkin spice lattes and drinks them even when it's not autumn!
Sugar Bear (voiced by Bobby Moynihan) - He's Dig 'Em's husband!
Snap, Crackle and Pop (voiced by Jason Mantzoukas, Kimiko Glenn, and Daveed Diggs) - They're classmates of Tony Jr. and Antoinette who are always up to some zany scheme to get out of class!
Chip the Wolf (voiced by Beck Bennett) - He's the teacher at Tony Jr. and Antoinette's school, but he's also secretly a secret agent! Because shut up, that's why!
Cap'n Crunch (voiced by David Tennant) - He's the Mayor of Cereal Town, but he's incompetent! LOL!
Wendell the Baker from Cinnamon Toast Crunch (voiced by Harvey Guillen) - He's a baker! So... basically, he's exactly the same, except he's voiced by Harvey Guillen now!
Fruity Yummy Mummy (voiced by Lizzo) - She's Frankenberry's ex-girlfriend! She's ALSO considered way out of his league!
Fruit Brute (voiced by Don Cheadle) - He's Count Chocula's pet dog! Personality-wise, he's basically Brian Griffin!
Sunny the Raisin Bran Sun (voiced by Stephanie Beatriz) - He's a girl now too! She's the sun, but she's also a citizen of Cereal Town! How WACKY!
Buzz Bee only has dialogue in one episode, where it's revealed that he's voiced by Dennis Haybert! That's funny, right?! RIGHT?!
Did I mention that this is a love letter to cereal mascots?! Because it IS!
#joke post#i really wanted to vent my frustrations towards jellystone#and yes i intentionally made the art as crappy-looking as possible#cereal mascots

#notizie #news #breakingnews #cronaca #politica #eventi #sport #moda Read the full article

Star Trek | 30ies | Human | Straight. | Engaged to Antos Roana-Harper
;–About Integrity–;
Ship information Name: USS Integrity Registry: NCC-73901-C Class: Sovereign-class starship Affiliation: Federation Starfleet Status: Active (2373) Notable Commanding Officer(s): - Captain James Ingles (2373-2375) - Admiral Wendel Carter Ivans (2377-2379) - Captain T'Cora Lican (2381-2383) - Captain Henry Hartford-Summers (2385-2387) - Captain Georgina Williams (2387- ) Launched: 11 November 2373
History Captain James Ingles Launched in 2373, the USS Integrity-C was one of the most advanced ships in the fleet designed to defend against the Borg threat and to carry out diplomatic missions. Under the command of Captain James Ingles, she was one of the most prized ships along with her sister Sovereign-class ships. In the two years that Ingles was her captain, Integrity saw the far reaches of the Federation. In 2375, Captain James Ingles died while fighting on the front lines of the Dominion War. While attempting to reroute control from the Bridge to Engineering, the panel exploded and he was thrown against the wall. With teleports down, he was carried to Sickbay by Tactical Officer Lee. However, Ingles died from his injuries before he arrived.
Admiral Wendel Carter William Henry Machenzie Ivans After Integrity was repaired, Admiral Wendel Ivans was given command of the ship. No longer on the front lines, Integrity remained a mostly diplomatic ship, protecting and helping to rebuild the Federation’s worlds in the aftermath of the Dominion War. After two years as her Captain, in 2377 Ivans died fighting for his ship and crew. His ship picked up a distress signal from the planet Volga. When they arrived they were being attacked by Borg. Ivans willingly let himself be assimilated in order to allow small girl get away. His first officer, Lee killed him in order to stop the knowledge of the ship reaching the collective. Destroying the Borg cube, Lee and the crew returned the ship to Earth for repairs. Lee declined promotion and the ship was given to Captain T'Cora Lican.
Captain T'Cora Lican Captain T'Cora took over the ship. As half-Human Vulcan who grew up on Earth, she was determined to befriend her crew and be one of the best ships in the fleet. She was not hindered by the knowledge that two previous Captain’s had met with untimely deaths and strove to make sure that she wasn’t one of them. Integrity was present at Earth when the starship Voyager returned home in 2381 and Integrity saw the welcoming of a new race into the Federation in 2382. T'Cora met her untimely end during a mediation between the Gorn and the Klingons in 2383. When her team became isolated on Gornar, they found shelter with a fraction of Gorn who needed their help. The away team exchanged medical aide for shelter. However, several young warriors did not appreciate the aliens “interfering”. She was killed along with a security officer and medic. Lee and the remaining Commander returned to the ship. Lee resigned. When he returned to Earth, he and several other senior crew coined the phrase: “Integrity Curse”.
Captain Henry Hartford-Summers With the circulation of the “Integrity Curse”, it was hard to find a replacement Captain for Integrity. Finally, the dashing Henry Hartford-Summers, volunteered for the job. Handsome, young, clever, the Federation needed someone like him to encourage younger people to join Starfleet. He ignored the rumours of the curse. He wasn’t afraid. Most thought he was mad…or possibly too arrogant. Taking off for the Romulan border and ignoring Admiral Janeway’s orders to wait, Hartford-Summers nearly destroyed his ship because he was confident he could take on a Warbird on his own. He was two weeks short of having been on the ship three years when he died in 2887.

Writing a little fic 👀 and I'm wondering if you'd know who Fabio's people are at Porto like who he hangs around with and such? - 💙🤍
EEEEEE i don't know what you're writing, but anything that features Fábio entices me.
I don't know if it's because he's on loan, but Fábio seems a little quieter than his pre-Arsenal days at Porto. Like he's very focused in a lot of the pictures and videos that Porto is posting (and he hasn't posted much on Instagram featuring Porto except for like a promo thing on his story). Just makes it difficult to determine who he "hangs out" with.
I mean his bestie at Porto is probably João Mario. Both from the Porto Academy and both played for Portugal U18-U21 together. I made a post about it but him and Martinelli are mutuals on Instagram (so I guess Fábio introduced them to one another).
Other people he seems to get along with on the team:
Diogo Costa. Also from the Porto Academy. Portugal nt goalkeeper.
Wenderson Galeno. In and out of Porto. Brazilian winger. I don't think they've played together for a long time but they seem to get along and they're often "around" each other in the videos Porto posts. Like this one! Interestingly, him and Gabriel Magalhaes follow each other on Instagram.
Wendell Borges. He's in his early thirties. Also Brazilian. (Followed by both Little and Big Gabi on Instagram). I mean idk if they're friends but look at that "welcome back" hug:
That's my list but I might have missed some people.
