Then support Bayer 04 Leverkusen aka. die Werkself! In this thread I want to introduce you to our charming players and club and show you why Leverkusen is the club for you!

Let’s start with basics first!

Our mascot is called Brian!

We’ve won the UEFA Cup in 1988 and DFB Pokal in 1993! At the moment, we’re still in all competitions (DFB Pokal, Europa League) and are currently placed 5th in the Bundesliga (as of 26th April)

Currently our manager is Peter Bosz, a dutch coach who has also managed the likes of Ajax Amsterdam and Borussia Dortmund!

While we sometimes have our “oopsie” moments...

... we also have plenty of standout moments!

Let’s not forget to mention our admin of our english twitter account as they’re always up for a bit of banter but is also woke af!
