Je t'offre en pature le dernier démon que j'ai vaincu : le SEO. J'ai été un peu traumatisé par un des premiers projets que j'ai réalisés : un blog automatisé avec l'IA. C'était avant ChatGPT. Le matos avait 10 ans de retard mais 128 Go de RAM et 40 threads de CPU. Parfait pour expérimenter avec les modèles d'IA. Bref, j'ai réussi ma geekerie. Mais, grosse déception à l'arrivée. J'avais moins de trafic que d'articles sur mon blog. Pourtant, le site était clean, les articles étaient bons dans l'ensemble. C'est là que j'ai découvert l’existence du SEO. Gregório de Matos, known as "Boca do Inferno", was an important Brazilian poet of the colonial period, especially active in the 17th century.

"Son of two Portuguese noblemen, Gregório de Matos e Guerra was born on 12/20/1636 in Salvador (BA), then the capital of the colony.

He studied Humanities at the Colégio dos Jesuítas and then left for Coimbra, where he graduated from the Faculty of Law and wrote his doctoral thesis there, all in Latin. "

His poetry was marked by strong satire, social criticism and a frank and direct approach to the political and religious customs of the time.

Gregório de Matos's poems were, as a rule, written in pamphlets, which circulated around the city of Salvador. These pamphlets were gathered by some collectors and then stitched together into a type of document known as a codex.

Satirical verses were commonly pasted (with cassava flour glue) on the doors of churches and those who knew how to read recited them – easy to memorize, they served to inspire new poems.

He was known for his harsh criticism, addressing topics such as corruption, social hypocrisy, inequalities and abuses of power. His work is considered a striking reflection of colonial reality in Brazil, and he is often remembered as one of the first great Brazilian poets.

In addition to his satires, Gregório de Matos also wrote lyrical and religious poems, demonstrating a great thematic diversity in his work. His contribution to Brazilian literature is highly valued to this day.

Hermès - Fast Forward Men 2018 from Builders Club on Vimeo.

Hermés asked us to create a retro-futuristic fashion film to help launch the new S/S18 Menswear collection at their groundbreaking “Fast Forward Men” experience in Shanghai. We created an endless floating landscape that explored gravity, time and space to conceptualise Hermés’ interstellar world of men’s fashion. We used a high speed camera to capture the male model and emphasise the constant floating/zero gravity feeling in our futuristic cubic space. This experience showcased the modern collection and defined their new Hermés man. Our metaphysical animations reflected details of the clothes’ design and vivid hues, acting as abstract metaphors for the live action component. We worked closely with Hermés to create this immersive, high-tech visual experience that encapsulates the sophisticated “Fast Forward Men” experience.
