Hi, I just saw your art of the snake and the pigeon with aromantic flags, and they look amazing! I thought that a pigeon done in the colours of the queerplatonic and/or oriented aroace flag would be adorable. Did you know that pigeons mate for life and often show affection to their partner by cuddling with each other and giving them light pecks around the neck and head? They also are apparently great parents, with both males and females taking care of the young, this load is shared almost equally between the sexes. Both parents build nests, sit on eggs, and lactate (well “pseudo-lactation” technically) to feed chicks. I just thought the idea of two pigeons in a qpr would be really cute.

Sorry for the ramble about pigeons, I just really like them.

ALSO, imagine singeds reaction: his protege/ apprentice starts coming home with gifts or something he’s 100% asking about it, and when told of the whole story he’s like “oooohh…. Okay then…” and is 100% already getting in contact with salo.

also the Jayce storyline??? oooo lalaaaa I can’t really choose wether an act 2 s1 aged Jayce would suit or s2 Jayce but honestly??? IMAGINE salo finds out that Jayce also has connections with his miracle boy. Dude would be beyond pissed, barely keeping on his facade , talking about “oh, how interesting.. you knew of viktor that way.. well, i was a patient of his too, you know, how do you think i got my working legs back?���

or maybe he’d be brimming quietly, keeping quiet about his connection to his lil miracle boy? Either way, it’s impending doom for viktor because he’s got TWO very feral men trying to steal him away from the other. So he’s fucked(both literally and figuratively.) (also singed would 100% profit over the 2 men fighting over his boy, somehow???)

of course salo is the only one giving anything bc his treatment is done, there is no more medical advice or medicine to give so what can viktor give him now? (his time perhaps, his attention, his voice in salo's ear, oh, anything, really, anything bc salo will accept anything)

and of course viktor knows of salo's gifts (and gifts from others too) but he doesn't... say anything abt it. he's uncomfortable w/ his admirers attention, their... strange loyalty but leaves them be bc they need him and he has to be sensible bc he does need supplies to help people. so he keeps everyone at arms' length (which is why his clear fondness for jayce is so grating. why is he allowed so close?)

singed knows abt the admirers, they're not subtle, lol, and he's keeping a close eye on them to make sure none of get too close or... you know, needy bc my goodness, his apprenta is too kind and his followers can sense it. and also bc he needs supplies too, heh. and manipulating his apprenta's followers gets him whatever he wants easily. especially now that salo and his money is around

(maybe it could be younger jayce, academy jayce, eager to learn abt magic and it takes him to viktor. or maybe it's a jayce that no matter his age, is grieving his mother bc she's so sick and nothing seems to work! so he makes his way to viktor)

and as said before, singed is keeping an eye on viktor's admirers so no harm will come to him. and really, don't salo and jayce know that useless dogs, dogs that don't give anything, neither money or affection, get thrown away? and dogs who are rabid, who'll try to bite their owners? well, they get put down. (viktor will be upset that they'll get hurt but singed knows he'll get over it eventually, there's so many dogs around after all, all licking his hands and begging for his attention, viktor can and will find new dogs)

Man, I feel like I'm the only person on the internet who still relies on forum posts, and sadly most forum boards have stopped updating/being active between 2017-2022

Really aggravating when I have the same question as another person who asked it, and they get the shit reply of "they have a Discord for that! Ask there!"

I don't want to join 1000 random Discord servers just to get 1 clear answer. My attention span can't handle more than 1 person spitting replies at me, all trying to give me an answer to a question, only to leave me more confused than I initially had been.

Look, if realtime answers work for you, cool. But for me, the person who takes the time to research and compile a good post that more than answers my 1st question and subsequently answers more I might've have down the line helps way more.

And in turn, that 1 post can help others who had similar questions. And the great thing about forum posts is that, if it's outdated, the original poster can update it, or someone else can work off it and update it. Like a continuity book where pages can be easily take out and re-added with new info.

To the people who used to write cohesive forum posts (and wiki pages), thank you for being the true pillars of online communities. Your posts have helped me so much and I really miss that.

Purple Family headcanons

(Warning for domestic violence)

• Cherry was the main bread-earner in the family,

in the avm ep 29 we see how Cherry cares about Purple and disapproves of Navy's actions, yet, only later she steps in. Personally I think that Cherry didn't know that Navy's training escalated, which is why she didn't get involved sooner. Navy however was shown predominantly in Purple's childhood which is why I assume that he was mostly at home, training and teaching Purple. We barely know how stick-society works, but it seems similar to ours. Cherry was a busy and hardworking stick earning the money, which is why she didn't find out about it. (Also because Purple was too afraid to tell her about it and lied about how they got the bruises and all)

• While Navy was the house-spouse,

Since he is shown to "prepare" Purple for the world, he taught them a lot of other things to be self-sufficient like basic cooking, cleaning, sewing and so on.

• Other thing is that Navy is a minimalistic utilitarian

And is also very strict with the resources, the type to use something till it's completely useless. So, slowly annoyance from little Purple being messy and sloppy with work because they're literally just a CHILD turn into frustration and then to aggression to the point of getting verbally and physically abusive towards Purple, which both Purple and Navy considered "normal" because it wasn't like Purple wouldn't get hit in training.

• Cherry completely cut off contact with Navy to protect Purple

While Navy left on own accord, it was Cherry who after finding out how Navy treated Purple who more or less forced Navy to do so. She was afraid of Navy too because she now knew of what he was capable of. And even though Navy raised his hand in the heat of the moment, he then realised what he was doing and decided to leave. Not only because he almost hurt his loved one but also because said loved one rejected him and that left Navy heartbroken. Cherry made sure that Navy wouldn't ever come close to Purple with what he had done to them but didn't tell Purple anything about it. We only see their backstory through Purple's POV. Because of that Purple believe it was all their fault for the falling apart of their parents and how heartbroken Cherry was, though, it was because she believed to have failed Purple as a parent.

Note: While I use she/her for Cherry and he/him for Navy, it's not because I think of them as female and male but to have it be easier to understand. Personally, I don't see them being any gender because it doesn't matter.
