During Miley’s show on instagram, Selena has revealed that she struggles with bipolar disorder. I can’t help but have this ache in my stomach hearing this. Selena Gomez has been in public’s eye since she was a kid. Even though most of us got to know her from her Disney days. This girl has been through so much: very public break-ups, media hunt on her, bullying, her mom’s miscarriage, certain fan base making deportation jokes, her autoimmune disease, depression, anxiety, kidney transplant, constant public scrutiny and god knows what else happened in her life which isn’t made public. And now being diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Throughout all that she remained genuine, kind and sweet. Has been giving back to community since 2009. She’s so underrated and unappreciated sometimes, it genuinely shocks me. Selena you always wanted people to know your heart and please know that if not everyone, at least us, your fan base do know your heart and love you even more for it.
