I about to start working on Himiko back story but I have to tell you all she’s the most traumatized out of everyone like double the amount of trauma Keith has, well fleshed out trauma but still LOTS of trauma. bnha will end soon, and i’m bursting with how much feelings i’m going through especially after i’m reading many congratulations already and thanking to horikoshi for giving us such amazing story. this manga has been with me when i was still in high school, i was just a teen back in 2017 when on that beautiful and older twitter i’ve seen people talking about mha, curiosity got me and i started it and it has been best decision of my life. because this wasn’t a shonen like others, mostly because izuku wasn’t like some other shonen protagonists. he was the voice of all that people that in their life no one encouraged them, that everyone underestimated because someone like them can’t do great things. but despite all they continued to follow their own dreams, no matter how much work it would take. deku has been all of those things, and it’s rare for me to kin a character so much, but he catch my attention because he was and is just like me. i’m not joking that the “deku wouldn’t give up” has been my mantra by now . so, here we are now soon at the end, but it’ll end knowing those characters got our heart and especially deku got kacchan’s heart and became his sun that he finally accepted into his life.

You know what, call it a "hot take" or whatever but when it comes to character designs in My Hero Academia, my favorite ones are the female character designs.

If you asked me which designs I like the most the list with mostly consist of the female characters.

That isn't to say I hate the male ones because I do have favorites and some female designs don't catch my eyes as much.

But just like in general of hairstyles, eye colors, skin tones, the vibes... whatever I find myself more attentive to the female character designs than I am for the male ones.

I believe that AFO could be still telling his own story from a external pov because even in current times he sees his own actions from a third pov, like it was all a part of a comic book

And it could also be that he internalised prejudiced views on quirk users because the period of time where he was born was really ruthless for quirk users 🤷

Yknow what, that would make sense and is more interesting than anything I thought was going on with the narration. The idea that AFO is the narrator talking about himself like a comic book villain is so compelling, I love it. Also fits in with the pattern of villains talking/showing us their own experiences and backstories, just in a different way

And yeah, now that I think about it, the prejudiced view thing sounds like something he would have. With the way he's lived, how could he not internalize the way the world has behaved towards him from day one? It fits for how he seems to view the world and himself

basically

i'm listening to bnha ost albums and getting emotional over them and thinking abt how much i fuckin love yuki hayashi's soundtracks and how they're why i can never really hate the anime at all even when i see people complain abt things with how it was adapted—and yeah i'll acknowledge when things are cut and be annoyed too but. to say i hate the anime over it?? no i couldn't

and anyway it made me think of how i used to listen to the sao and naruto osts on youtube and sometimes i'd read the comments and it was usually a bunch of dudebros in their late teens-early 30s roughly (iirc lol) talking abt how the soundtracks were so good and how they brought up nostalgia from when they were 7, 9, 12, 13, etc etc. and i just thought. like damn

so many people on my side of fandom spaces may hate on dudebros in their fandoms but like. many of them are just here enjoying the story yk??? and like. we're such different people and yet we love the same story and (in my case example specifically) all appreciating the music from that same show and reminiscing the same moments and well. maybe we're not so different after all yk and isn't that beautiful???

me personally it makes me want to cry a little

bc we're such different people but at the end of the day we're also two people whose hearts were both touched by the same story, two people who love the same story—and through that, in that way—even though we're so different at a face level—can't we still understand each other??? can't we still find a way to reach each others hearts???
